With no where else to go, Lucy, Haiku and Persephone had no choice but to take Stacey and the others back to their own campground near the lake. It was in the late evening and they already started a campfire, which a few of them say by. Lucy, Haiku, Persephone, Jane and Georgia respectively. Lucy was busy dealing with a bat that was perched on her arm...
Lucy:"This little guy is nothing like Fangs. He need to learn some manners."
Haiku was busy manipulating her power, having electricity course through her finger tips. Persephone was sitting there awkwardly silent between Jane and Georgia, a bit uncomfortable with her leotard that was getting up her butt. She kept pulling it down when it got too tight. Jane merely sat with a bored expression, staring deep into the flames of the fire while Georgia sat on a rock with one foot on top of the other, sharpening her arm blades. Nigel was at the lake, skipping stones rather angrily. No doubt it was because of how they just lost their base. Stacey was back and fourth with Lily resting on her shoulder, wondering what are they gonna do now. But, as she was doing that, Ken came by with a box of stuff.
Ken:"Hey! I think I found some stuff that could still work!"
Heading over to Ken, Stacey reached into the box and pulled out a broken phone. And by broken, it was entirely black, charred and still smoking from the explosion...
Stacey:"Nope. All useless."
Ken:"Man."
And with that, Ken throws the box to a pile of other stuff that he found that was completely destroyed.
Ken:"Now what are we gonna do?"
Lucy:"Well, if you guys want, we can head back to town and you can stay at my place."
Haiku:"Or mine."
Persephone:"Or mine. My dad's been wanting to make a Bed and Breakfast for a while. Strangely enough, business isn't working for him."
Nigel:"There's a shock."
Stacey:"As much as I would appreciate that, I'm not going anywhere."
Georgia:"Stace, you can't possibly want to stay here all by yourself."
Stacey:"Why would I be by myself?"
Georgia:"...Good point."
Haiku:"Still, I wouldn't recommend that we stay here any longer until we get a proper roof over our heads."
Jane:"We have that tent of yours."
Persephone:"Which we can all barely fit into."
Jane:"Right."
Lucy:"Anyway, we're gonna have to wait until morning so that we can go back. Persephone, have you gotten your mother on the phone yet?"
Persephone:"I'm getting there."
Nigel:"Hmph. How about we prank call Persephone's mom by having her come here and then not being here."
Georgia:"Why?"
Nigel:"'Cause it's fun?"
Persephone:"My mother wouldn't approve. And she's a very strict woman."
Ken:"Well, we gotta do something to pass the time."
Georgia:"Hmm...anybody up for more training?"
Stacey:"Sounds good to me."
Nigel:"Let's do it."
Lucy:"But how?"
Jane:"How about more target practice for you guys?"
Lucy:"I gues that works.
Stacey:"We'll just have to set up a few trees as some targets."
Georgia:"Works for me."
But as they were about to get things ready, Jane pulled Stacey aside with a hint of concern...
Jane:"Stace, are you okay?"
Stacey:"I'm fine. Let's just get this going."
Jane:"You know we let you stay here by yourself, right?"
Stacey:"What's gonna stop me?"
Jane:"Us. We'd follow you anywhere, but we wouldn't leave you behind."
Shaking Jane, Stacey turned away...
Stacey:"I would expect nothing less."
Hearing a tiny yawn, Stacey looked down at Lily, who had just woken up. Their eyes met and Stacey could instantly recognize the puppy dog eyes Lily was giving her. She wanted to fight back, but couldn't help but think of her little sister when she saw Lily. She gave up once, and she wouldn't do so again...
Stacey:"But you guys are worth it though."
And with that, they headed over to their friends for target practice. Later on, they packed everything up and began walking out of the woods.
Ken:"Hey, Lucy. Why exactly would you want us to stay at your house?"
Lucy:"I just figured it would be safer than being out here. I don't think the guardian would find us there."
Nigel:"Heh. Just imagine if the guardian would be able to follow us all the way to town."
Georgia:"Don't EVEN joke about that."
Nigel:"Fine."
It took a while for them to get to the house. Thankfully, no one saw them in their costumes, otherwise, this would've been embarrassing. But as Lucy tried to open the door, she found it locked and the car gone...
Lucy:"Huh. They must all be out somewhere."
Stacey:"Nice house, Lucy."
Lucy:"Thanks. But we're gonna have to find another way inside."
Nigel:"Any ideas?"
Haiku:"We could go through one of the windows."
Ken:"Forget that. What's more important is we find a way to get ME inside."
Jane:"I might agree with you on that."
But as they tried to figure something out, Georgia looked over to the side of the house and saw a ladder going up to Lincoln's room...
Georgia:"Hey, guys? I might've found our way inside."
Lucy:"Why would my brother leave this out?"
Georgia:"Why would he have a ladder leading to his room in general?"
Lucy:"Sometimes, we have to cover for him when he gets home late."
Stacey:"Either way, it looks like we found our way in."
Nigel:"Yeah. Let's hope no one is around thinks we're robbing the place."
And with that, they all headed up the ladder. First Lucy, then Jane, then Haiku who was now holding Lily, then Nigel and Persephone and Stacey soon after. Ken and Georgia stayed down to watch the ladder. By as Persephone was about to head, Stacey stopped her for a second...
Stacey:"By the way, Persephone, what's it like in that house?"
Persephone:"Honestly, I've been in here before. But from what I know, Lucy comes from a pretty crazed family. Still, I doubt that'll cause me problems."
Stacey:"Alright."
But as Persephone was starting to go through the window, her lower body was a little too big, getting caught around the waist. She starting nudging and wiggling, trying to pull herself in, but no budge...
Persephone:"Um...a little help?"
Stacey:"(sighs) This is worse than Ken."
Forced to use one hand without the risk of falling down, Stacey pushes Persephone until she pops right through. Soon enough, as Stacey tries to get in through the window, the moment she was in, the window closed on her ponytail.
Stacey:"Ow! Oh, you gotta be kidding."
Back outside, Ken was about to head up when Georgia stopped him.
Ken:"What?"
Georgia:"You can't be serious. You'll never fit through the window."
Ken:"Well, you got any other ideas?"
Georgia:"Let's go around the house and see if there's any other window you can fit through."
Ken:"Alright, fine. (Starts walking away)"
Georgia:"Ken? The latter?"
Ken:"(sighs, then picks up the latter) Why do I have to do everything?"
Georgia:"(in her minds) Fight the urge to strangely him. Fight the urge to strangle him!"
Meanwhile, back inside, Stacey struggled to pull her hair out of the window while the others watched. And Persephone felt her but of embarrassment...
Persephone:"First, it makes this stupid leotard really tight! Now, thanks to my butt, I can't even climb through a single window!"
Nigel:"You know, that's something I never thought I'd hear."
Lucy:"Same."
Haiku:"Me too."
Stacey:"Nevermind that, guys. Can you help me out here?"
Jane:"You too, Stacey?"
Stacey:"Don't even start! I don't want this becoming a running gag!"
Nigel:"Let's hope not. It's getting kind of annoying."
With a little help from Lucy, the two opened the window and got Stacey's hair out...
Jane:"Hey, where's Georgia and Ken?"
Suddenly, coming from Lucy's room was Georgia, startling everyone except Lucy...
Lucy:"So that's what it's like."
Georgia:"Nice room, Lucy."
Stacey:"And Ken? Where's he?"
Moving aside, Georgia reveals that Ken is stuck in Lucy's window.
Ken:"Hey guys."
Georgia:"We spent the last few minutes trying to get him up hear."
First time Ken climbed up the ladder, it leaned back and he fell to the ground. Second time, he slipped and slid down the ladder. Third time, the legs of the ladder began to give out and break underneath him.
Georgia:"And after I convinced him to let me go first, I managed to help him get up here as well, and here we are."
Ken:"Now that we have cleared up, can you guys pull me out of here?"
Lucy and Jane stepped up to help, with Lucy and Georgia grabbing hold of his left arm, then with Nigel and Jane taking his right. Then, the started to pull him inside, struggling even then as Ken was kicking his legs outside...
Nigel:"This is getting old."
Georgia:"It's been old for a long time."
Ken:"Hey! It's not my fault!"
Georgia:"Uh, yeah! It kinda is."
Nigel:"Her! For gosh's sake, man! Lose some weight!"
Just as Nigel said that, Ken finally popped right out and...landed on top of them. Thier cries of pain were muffled by Ken's fatness.
Nigel:"(muffled) Ow."
Jane:"(muffled) For crying out loud! A boulder weighs less."
Nigel's hand came from underneath Nigel, struggling to get out. But it was then that Georgia lifts Ken off of him, giving the others their chance to get away while Georgia struggles to keep Ken above her head, shaking on her knees and sweating...
Georgia:"Ugh! That was horrible! It was like a cave of fat and flesh!"
Nigel:"Uh, Georgia? I think you can let go now."
Georgia:"I can't! I-"
But, her arms finally gave out and Ken feel back on top of her. Georgia's muffled screams can be heard from underneath from him...
Stacey:"Maybe we should make an entrance for Ken so that we don't have to put up with this all the time."
Jane:"Good idea."
Later on, they were in the living room, now back in their normal clothing. Ken was sitting in the middle of the coach with Nigel and Jane on opposite sides. Georgia was sitting on a chair farthest away from Ken, having her arms wrapped around her legs and shivering after being underneath Ken. Lucy, Lily and Haiku sat on the floor while Persephone sat in another chair and Stacey was pacing the floor again...
Lucy:"Okay, not that we all spent the last five minutes getting Ken off of Georgia, how about we all relax?"
Nigel:"Sounds good. Though, it was a struggle getting Ken back into his normal clothes."
Haiku:"I can't believe he even needs help with that."
Nigel:"Believe it, and be glad you're not the ones who have to help him! I've seen things no one should see."
Persephone:"Okaaay. I'm just glad to be back in my own clothing now."
Jane:"Same here. The fox look was not doing it for me."
Persephone:"Hey, do you think Georgia is going to be okay?"
Jane:"She'll be fine."
Georgia:"(shivers)"
Jane:"...In about two hours."
Lucy:"...Why don't we just watch some TV?"
Dream Boat was on. While she tried to get comfortable on the coach, Jane saw Blaine on the show and a question popped into her head.
Jane:"Ken, why can't you have a body like that?"
Ken:"...I used it."
Everyone looked at him with either surprised or confused looks...
Nigel:"Really?"
Ken:"Yep."
Jane:"Well, what happened?"
Ken:"...Four siblings, a dog and funnel cakes."
Everyone soon realized that Ken has been stress eating this whole time and hasn't stopped since. They can help but feel a hint of concern for the guy. Eventually, Stacey changed the subject...
Stacey:"Hmm...I know this isn't the best time, but it's all I have on my mind right now. If we're gonna defeat the guardian with these newfound powers of hours, we need to train better."
Nigel:"You can't calm down for a few minutes. Can you, Stace?"
Stacey:"Nope."
Lucy:"Can we at least worry about that later?"
Stacey:"(sighs) I guess. It does feel kind of nice not worrying to much about that."
Jane:"That's the spirit."
Stacey:"But only for an hour."
Jane, Nigel, Ken, Persephone groaned in annoyance and Lucy sighed in annoyance...
Ken:"I can believe we have to keep training."
Stacey:"Ken, you haven't really trained before and are too fat to train now."
To prove her point, Stacey poked at Ken's belly and watched it jiggle for a bit. Ken could see her point. Not hearing any objections, Stacey walks away from Ken, fist pumping and mouthing "yes" triumphantly, determined to get back to training. Next the she knew, she was outside in the backyard, training with her whip. She latched onto a dirty bucket, flinging it up in the air and then whipping into the recycling bin, all in a flawless majestic style.
Lucy:"Sigh...Lana's gonna miss that bucket."
Stacey then realized her mistake, figuring out that bucket belongs to one of Lucy's sisters. Next up was Georgia, who had brought her arm blades. A few punching bags were set up for her, who she quickly cut through like butter and then moved to the last one, which for some reason had Ken's face on a piece of paper taped to the top of it. In any case, she was tearing it too pieces, violently chopping at it like a wild beast while her friends watched from the behind the dummy. They back away so that they wouldn't get hurt, but what they weren't expecting was from Georgia to stab right the through the punching bag. But as she did that, her blades extended and nearly hit Ken and Jane as they stopped once they touched the fence...
Georgia:"(panting)...I feel so much better now."
Up next was Persephone, who upon using her power to levitate herself off the ground, had found out she could do the same to other things, maybe even people. She started off a few flower pots that were sitting on the ground, but then it got a little out of hand when Lucy then found herself levitating off the ground...
Lucy:"Um...Persephone?"
Persephone:"Uh, oh. I must've gotten carried away. Let me just try to-"
As she was trying to focus her power to bring Lucy back down, it didn't work to well as Lucy was then fell head first into a gopher hole. This surprised everyone, but Georgia and Ken were holding back their laughter..
Lucy:"Well, this is neat. I always wanted to know what it was like to be buried, but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind."
While she looked around, barely being able to see anything, she could feel someone trying to pull her out. A few seconds later, Lucy could see daylight again as Persephone got her back in her feet...
Persephone:"Lucy, I am so sorry! I'm still getting in control of my powers! That was a huge accident."
Lucy:"It's okay, I understand."
Ken:"Really? 'Cause I can never tell."
Lucy:"Sigh"
Next person who was training with her powers was Haiku, and had also managed to discover some hers. Using some cans as target practice, Haiku demonstrates that she's able to use she's able to fire her lightning and let it bounce from target to another. Not like a ricochet, but more like a shift in current, as each bolt is being transferred from each can in the form of a line. But, as she continues to do this, one of her lightning bolts goes off course and heads straight for the group. All except for Stacey manage to get out of the way, as she's then electrocuted and her hair gets all spikey and spreads out everywhere.
Haiku:"...My bad."
Stacey:"(twitching) It's okay. I may no longer have feeling in my body, but at least training's going good. And, my hair's not too bad this way."
Lily tries to grab Stacey's hair, but the electricity coursing through that had other ideas as it shocked the little girl. Jane went next and her training was a little unorthodox, since her power was merely to shape shift into a fox. But, she did demonstrate that in her fox form, she was able to run fast, be sneaky and show amazing jumping abilities. She continued to jump and see how she could get, as each jump was high than the last. But when it came to last, something happened. Out of nowhere, a pair of falcon wings had sprouted from her back and she began to take flight. It amazed her friends, but there was one problem...she didn't know how to fly.
Jane:"(hitting the ground) OOF!"
Ken:"Well, that's not fair! How come she gets wings? She's a fox, not a bird!"
Lucy:"Well, according to mythology, they are creatures who take the form of fox who have wings, giving them the ability to fly."
Ken:"Ugh."
Jane:"Don't be like that, Ken. I'm still getting the hang of this, since these things just came from out of nowhere."
Moving on, Nigel was now busy blocking rock and cans being thrown at him by his friends. Using his crimson rapier, he blocked every attack as best he could, but that was before his confidence got the better of him. He wasn't paying attention and then got a rock to the face.
Nigel:"Ow!"
Ken:"My bad."
Stacey:"Your blade can't be the only thing that's up. It also has to be your mind."
Nigel:"I didn't see that one coming!"
Georgia:"Then you probably won't see this one coming."
Before he knew it, Nigel was hit in the forehead with a can. The group tried to hide their laughter, but Nigel could hear them and was starting to get peeved. Next thing that happened was unexpected, with his sword changing to a chain that would be able to hold a wrecking ball and at the end of it was a sword blade.
Nigel:"Whoa. Okay, let's test this thing out. Keep 'em coming!"
As they continued to throw projectiles at Nigel, he was having a better time blocking each rock or can that came flying at him. But, that didn't stop his confidence from getting the better of him again. Just as they ran out of stuff to thrown, Nigel still continued to swing his chain right before...it nails him in the crotch...
Nigel:"Hmph!"
Everyone:"Oooohhh."
Stacey:"That had to hurt."
And then, Nigel drops to his knees and falls on his face. While Nigel puts some ice on that, Lucy was up next, demonstrating her power over bats. She wondered what else she would be able to do with them, when they suddenly started moving together. Taking a step back, Lucy say that the bats were forming together to become one huge bat...
Lucy:"Wicked."
The giant bat came down to Lucy's level, and she realized it was wanting her to get on top of it. Realizing where this was going, Lucy gladly agreed, getting on top and soon after, the giant bat took flight, flying far above the house...
Stacey:"That is pretty cool."
Lily, who was holding onto Stacey, didn't seem to think so, as she was actually frightened by the creature. This caused her to climb into Stacey's hair, which made the young adult uncomfortable as Lily's forehead peaks out of her hair.
Stacey:"Lily, come on. It's not that bad."
Reaching inside her own hair, Stacey manages to grab hold of Lily and pull her out. She then holds her close to her chest, trying to sooth the little girl...
Stacey:"I know it's a bit scary, but don't worry. I'm here for you."
Lily hugged Stacey while Lucy was coming back down. The bats deformed from their giant bat for and instead shifted into a 3-step staircase, allowing Lucy to return to the ground...
Lucy:"Thank you, my friends."
Stacey:"Well, I think it's safe to say that we've improved very much. But I feel like it would be enough."
Nigel:"What more do we need?"
Stacey:"If we're gonna beat the Guardian, we need everyone to help out."
Jane:"Everyone?"
Stacey:"Everyone."
Know what she meant, all their heads turned to Ken, who was confused about the whole thing...
Ken:"...What?"
And it was then that Stacey took out the last amulet, the grey one that was meant to be for Ken, who now knew where this was going. He was all for it. Later, they headed back I to the living room, watching Vampires of Melancholia, Lucy's favorite show. After all the training they had, they earned a little break.
Lucy:"I love this show."
Nigel:"I'm just glad we don't have to train anymore."
Jane:"Same. I'm still pick dirt of some place in my face."
Ken:"Well, I'm just wondering how exactly I'm supposed to help. I'm a tub of lard, remember?"
Stacey:"Will figure that out later. If the amulets work for us, they can work for you too, Ken."
Ken:"If you say so."
Georgia:"I don't know about you guys, buy I kinda want to get back into those costumes of our."
Stacey:"Sure. I got no problem with it."
Lucy:"Me neither."
Nigel:"I want to do the same!"
Persephone:"(Under her breathe) Oh great, here we go again."
Georgia:"Let's do it!"
A little while later, the just about finished up changing in their costumes in Lori's room. Hopefully, she'll find out about that, but they were all suited up and ready. Even Ken, who still needed help, which was no fun for Nigel and Jane...
Nigel:"Seriously! Do we have to keep doing this?!"
Ken:"Well, I'm pretty sure we all have to be suited up."
Jane:"Forget it, we'll get used to it."
But it was then that they heard what sounded like a car parking in the driveway. With Lucy and Stacey looking out the window, they could see Vanzilla outside the house, and already coming out were Lucy's siblings.
Stacey:"Lucy?"
Lucy:"Yeah?"
Stacey:"Are those your folks?"
Lucy:"Sigh. Yes."
Jane:"Okay then...no need to panic."
But it was too late, everyone was panicking.
Jane:"EVERYONE, SHUT UP! Let's just get out the ways we came in before we get caught!"
Stacey:"Different order this time! I don't want anyone getting stuck!"
Nigel:"Then you should tell that to Ken!"
Ken:"Oh shut it!"
Stacey:"Persephone, Georgia, go to the small room! The rest of you, head to Lucy's room! Now!"
Meanwhile, the rest of the Loud siblings were getting out of the van from oldest to youngest...
Lori:"Well, that vacation kind of sucked."
Leni:"Yeah. It was fun until Mom and Dad ruined it."
Lynn Sr:"How many times do we have to say we're sorry?"
Lynn Jr:"The manager said we're never allowed back there because he could never un-see what he saw!"
Lincoln:"Wait a minute. Was that the reason why we were kicked out of the last hotel?!"
The kids glare at their parents as they were soon to head inside the house. Meanwhile, the group headed back into Lucy's room and saw outside the window that the latter was on the floor. Acting fast, Stacey used to her to latch onto the latter and pull it back up.
Stacey:"Okay, Lucy, you guys head down first. We'll make a break for your brother's room where we'll wait for the latter there!"
Ken:"Why can't we all just go now!"
Stacey:"Because this is more complicated! Now go!"
And with that, Stacey took Persephone and Georgia while the others started to head down the latter. Nigel headed first, then Haiku and Jane. But when it came to Ken, well...you get the picture.
Ken:"Oh come on!"
Lucy:"This is not a good time for this."
She could already hear someone coming up the stairs as Lucy then began to use her hands and should to push Ken's big backside down the latter. Jane and Haiku were helping on their side, pulling in Ken's arms while Nigel gave motivational support.
Nigel:"Suck in your gut!"
Ken:"I'm sucking! I'm sucking!"
Nigel:"Suck harder!"
Lucy:"(while pushing) So, this is what it's like to be on this side."
But, the shadow of one of her siblings made Lucy freak out a little, and then, she resorted to kicking Ken through the window, which actually worked as she heard him scream as he fell to the ground.
Lucy:"Sigh. This is exhausting."
Meanwhile, in Lincoln's room, Stacey, Georgia and Persephone did their best to hide as they heard someone coming their way. Stacey headed up to the ceiling with her arms and legs clung to the walls, Persephone struggled to hide under Lincoln's bed with her undercarriage getting in the way, buys she managed to get completely underneath as Lynn passed by and headed towards her room. As for Georgia, she decided to hide by hanging out the window, and waited until they were certain it was safe.
Georgia:"Couldn't we have just jumped out the window and hoped for the best?"
Stacey:"Eager much?"
Persephone:"I'm, a little help here? I think I'm stuck."
Georgia:"(sighs) Give me your hand."
Reaching out, Persephone felt as Georgia began to pull her out. And though she was successful, Georgia lost her balance and then fell back out of the window. Stacey and Georgia quickly looked to see that Lucy's group was coming over with the latter and that Georgia landed on Ken's stomach, breaking her fall.
Lynn:"Lucy?"
Turning around, Lucy met face-to-face with her older athletic sister. She had to think of a good excuse so that she could leave and not draw any attention.
Lucy:"...I'm not here. You're not seeing me. This is all just a dream, and none of it is really happening...(jumps out window)"
Lynn:"(・_・;) ... I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that."
Thankfully, Lucy thought and had her bats catch her as she headed to meet with the rest of the group. They were waiting for Stacey and Georgia to come out, seeing the former begin to climb down first. But as Persephone was about to come out, she couldn't get any further as she felt her lower waste meet with the side of the window.
Stacey:"Could you please hurry up, Persephone?"
Persephone:"I'm trying!"
She tried to back up for more space, but her hips kept slightly ramming the frame. Seeing that she was stuck again, Stacey sided and grabbed Persephone by her arms.
Stacey:"Hold on."
Pulling into her, Stacey manages to pry Persephone from the window, at the cost of her balance. The fall down the latter, but fortunately land on top of Ken...
Ken:"Ow."
Stacey:"Well, that was fun."
Persephone:"Not for everybody."
Ken:"Agreed."
Nigel:"So, Lucy. I'm guessing you come from a pretty big family, huh. With the size of the house and the car."
Lucy:"That I do. Perhaps I'll introduce you guys after all this."
Georgia:"I'm just relieved we didn't get spotted."
Nigel:"And I say we get out of here before we do get spotted!"
With all of them agreeing, they run away from the house and make their way back to the woods.
