Ok y'all listen up. The reason I didn't actually add in the conversation with the police and liv making a report, herself. Because what are the actual chances of a successful-wealthy-white man-lawyer getting arrested for DV. Maybe I should have clarified my intentions on that part of the story. Also liv isn't acting stupid or like it's no big deal. She's in shock that was the first time she was beat black and blue. And Fitz shouldn't have had to bait him. But Jake needed a beating and Fitz needed a reason to fire him. Remember he can't fire someone cause he's dating their wife. If I'm confusing y'all sorry, I'll be more direct in the chapters. Someone said liv didn't press charges she did, but with how much proof yes he was there yes billy saw him yes she has bruises but the fact remains. He also works for one the top firms. I wanted to make it realistic. Obviously every DV case is different. But in the context of this story. Jake is basically a rich white man. Also she was in the hospital for a couple of days ofc the police talked to her.
