Gregor got to his feet and hugged Luxa and took her hand and placed the ring on her finger. And the second one on his.(I'm sorry if I got it wrong, but I don't know how ring boxes work)

By the time they were done, Aurora got back.

"Did you do it, Overlander?"She asked.

"I think now I'm technically, an underlander. And yes, I did it." Gregor said.

"Shall we go?" Asked Luxa.

They all headed for the palace and arrived in the High hall where Howard was waiting, with an angry look as he saw the matching rings on the young couple's hands.

"Luxa, please tell me this is a joke."

Luxa shot him a look that basically implied, I'm gona kill you in your sleep.

"The only joke here is my parent's reason to bring me home." Gregor said, trying to break the silence.

"Come on, your family is waiting, but I will not be able to join you." Howard said.

They went to the dining room. Before they got in Gregor stopped Luxa and said:"Cover your hand, trust me." She didn't question him, just covered her hand. All hell was about to go loose.

But to Gregor's surprise, his family was still calm. "Not for long" he thought

"Glad you finally decided to join us." Ripred said, for some reason he was there.

"Sorry for our lateness." Luxa said in a official voice.

"It is fine, come on, join us." Vikus said.

The seats at the table were like this: Boots, Lizzie, Ripred, Vikus, his uncle, his aunt, his mom and his dad. The only two free seats were next to each other, just as Gregor wanted. They sat down and Gregor's mom decided it was a good time to talk.

"Gregor, where have you been?"

"Mom, you'll get the answer later, now it's the time to eat." Gregor replied.

His mom didn't say anything else. "Probably reinforcing her arguments." Gregor though.

After dinner was over the discussion started.

"Gregor, why do you want to stay here?" Gregor's mom asked.

"I already told you." Gregor answered.

"We mean the real reason, Gregor." His dad said.

"Ohh, you sure you are ready for it?" Gregor said with a grin.

"Cut the crap, Gregor, just tell them you are engaged and be done with it!" Who else but Ripred would say that?

Everyone at the table gasped, well except Gregor, Luxa, Ripred and Vikus.

"You what?" Asked Gregor's mom in a loud voice.

"You heard him." Gregor said.

"No, I refuse to leave you here, cone now we are going home. NOW!" She yelled.

"No." Gregor said in a surprisingly calm voice.

"Ok, fine, list all the reasons as to why you should stay."

Gregor started listing all the reasons, which took some time.

"... and that's about it."

"Still not enough." His mom said.

"There is one more reason." Ripred said.

"Which would be? I listed them all." Gregor said.

"Oh, but you don't even know about it." Ripred said mysteriously.

"Just tell us." Gregor's dad said

"Fine, first, Lizzie, Boots, please leave us alone for a moment, you probably don't want to hear the next few sentences."

The two got up and left the room.

"So, what happens after two people get married?"

"They live happily together?" His dad asked.

"Keep trying, I am not telling you otherwise."

"They go on a honey moon?" Gregor's mom tried.

"Wrong."

Until this point, Gregor's uncle was silent, but he decided to make a inappropriate joke, as usual. "They have a kid?" He said and everyone started laughing.

"As if." Gregor's dad said.

"We have a winner!" Ripred said in a cheerful voice.

Everyone gave Ripred confused looks.

"Wait, you don't want to say what I think you want, do you?" Gregor's mom asked.

"What do you think?" Ripred asked.

Dead silence. But Ripred wasn't done. "Fine, taking your child away from his home, that I can understand, but if you are willing to take a father away from his child, than you are truly evil."

Gregor realized what Ripred was implying and looked at Luxa and smiled and she returned the gesture, while everyone else was in shock.

Now this, this was the definition of an awkward silence.

Gregor and Luxa got up and went to her chambers, no, their chambers, leaving everyone at the table. As they got out, they told Lizzie and Boots that they can go back in.

The two walked hand in hand to the Royal chambers and after they arrived they got engaged in a long, long kiss. They were only interrupted by Hazard.

"I guess I have to get used to that."

"Yes you have." Luxa said.

The two got in their room and, after changing in their night clothes, got in bed.

"Honestly, I never thought I'd see this day." Gregor said.

"What do you mean?" Luxa asked.

"I never thought that I'd have a kid."

"Speaking honestly, neither did I."

"Yeah, good night, Luxa."

"Good night."

With that they fell asleep.

The next day

Gregor and Luxa woke up to find someone else in their room. That someone was Vikus. "Oh boy, here comes the moral." Gregor though.

"I will not comment your relationship, It's not my business. But your parents do. They are waiting in the High hall."

"Come on, I will join you." Luxa said.

The three went to the High hall, where Gregor's family was waiting. "If they didn't talk yesterday it probably means they will just find more reasons to take me away." Gregor though.

"Gregor, we are going to say goodbye." His dad said as Gregor's mom shot him a look.

"What happened to I'll help you?" Gregor's mom asked.

"I am helping you, by doing this I am preventing depression from hitting Gregor, and indirectly you, because I don't know if you will be happy if your son is depressed."

"I-I..."

"Not to mention, he'll just run off again."

"What? I refuse to accept this."

"What is so hard to understand, lady? Gregor loves the Underland and the people here, why don't you?" Ripred said, a bit annoyed.

"It's a horrible place!" She pretty much yelled.

Until now Gregor was relatively calm, but that was the final straw. "LEAVE!" He said in the most serious voice.

"Gregor, what's gotten in you?" Gregor's mom asked.

"You know what, I'm done, I'm done trying to justify this, if you don't want to accept it, than leave and forget I exist!"

"How dare you say that?" Gregor's mom asked.

"Just leave already!" Gregor shouted. "I'm done!"

"My question still stands."

"Why do you have to make it so complicated?"

"We don't want to lose you!" Gregor's dad said.

"It seems like that happened a long, long time ago."

"No!" Gregor's mom shouted.

"You still here? What can't you understand?"

"Let's just calm down." Ripred said." So Gregor, you want to stay, and you have reason to, right?"

Gregor nodded.

"And Gregor's parents, you want him to leave because this is not a safe place?"

Only Gregor's mom nodded.

"I'm sorry to break it to you, but this place has been anything but NOT safe. In this situation, Gregor's argument wins."

"You can still visit." Gregor said.

"Fine." Gregor's mom said.

"We'll come back soon. Right now we have to make up a story for everyone concerned as where you went." Gregor's dad said.

"Ok, thanks for understanding, dad" Gregor said.

They said their goodbyes and Gregor's family left.

After they went trough the entrance in Central Park Luxa told Gregor."I thought they were not going to give up."

"So did I, so did I." Gregor said.

"Hey, Gregor." Luxa said.

"What?" Asked Gregor.

"We're going to be parents!" Luxa said as she hugged him. It seem that the fact that he could have left made her forget that she was pregnant.

"Yeah." Gregor said as he hugged her back.

Finally, the last chapter, what do you think?

Yeah, right now I'm debating if I should do a epilogue or just get on with my other ideas, I've got about fifteen more, half of them one-shots, but it doesn't matter.
