Carlisle's POV
When I shut the door to my office, I leaned on the door for a few minutes. The anger I am feeling, it felt like my insides where on fire. I have never felt such rage for anyone or anything before. But I still need to be rational about this. For Bella's sake. I started to walk towards the chief physician's office to make sure that I can leave for the day. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called Alice.
"Yes, Jasper and I are on the way now." Alice said.
"Thank you, Alice. Does anyone else know?" I asked, stopping in the hallway right before the chief's office.
"No, I haven't said anything. I didn't know if she wanted them to know. It was difficult for me to see."
"You saw it?"
"No, I saw the conversation you two had just a few minutes before hand. Trust me, Carlisle, if I saw that happened, I would have been there myself." I believed her and can't believe that I just asked her that.
"We should be there in about an hour or we can take our time so you can take your time to figure out what you are going to do."
"An hour should be fine. I think I have an idea on what I'm going to do. Call when you get close so I can warn Bella. She's jumpy understandably."
"Of course."
We said goodbye and I knocked on the door and waited for the ok to enter.
"Come in." Dr. Wells said. She was sitting at her desk going over some paperwork.
"Awe, Dr. Cullen, please come in and have a seat." She said. She was in late 50's with short gray hair and blue eyes. You can tell she smiled a lot by looking at her face. Dr. Elizabeth Wells was also easy to work with.
"Dr. Wells, I wanted to ask if I may take off for the rest of the day and possibly the rest of the week, please? I have a family emergency that I need to tend to."
"Is it regarding that young woman I saw Maggie with earlier?" She asked.
"Yes, she's my girlfriend." I didn't want to go into too much detail.
"Is she all right?" Dr. Wells asked with concern in her voice.
"She will be, but I need to be there for her the next few days."
"Alright. You haven't asked for any time off since you've been here, and you have vacation and sick leave you can take to cover the time you need and more if you need. Just let me know when you can return. Please, call if you need anything else."
"Thank you, Dr. Wells. I really appreciate your kindness."
"Just take good care of her and come back when you are able."
With that I left the office and went back to mine where Bella was still sitting there. We walked out to car in silence. I didn't want to push Bella into talking if she didn't want to. While we drove, I held her hand and tried to focus on the road. When we got to Bella's dorm, we packed up her belongings and made our way to the dean's office.
"You can explain everything to the dean please? I don't want to talk about it again" Bella said as we got to the door.
"If that is what you really want, love" I replied, and she nodded.
I knocked on the door and we entered the office. I explained to the dean what happened, and that Bella will be moving in with me but will still attend classes. The dean agreed because he said every student had the right to feel safe and if this is the only, she would then it's fine. Another student that was put on a list for housing will take her spot. We thanked him and headed to the house.
When we got there, I unloaded Bella's belongings while she took a shower. When she came down, I had all her things in the living room.
"Bella, I wanted to ask you if you wanted a room of your own or if you wanted to share with me? It's up to you and whatever you choose will be fine with me."
"Can I start out with my own room? Then maybe after a while then we can share. I need to take things slowly if that's ok?"
"That's absolutely fine. Whatever you need. I need to let you know that Alice and Jasper are coming down for little while. I need to take care of the problem if you know what I mean."
"What are you going to do, Carlisle?" Bella asked with such concern in her eyes.
"I'm honestly not sure yet. I just know I need to go to Forks. I want them to stay with you just in case. That way you are protected."
"Please, don't do anything that will get you in trouble. That's all I ask."
"I won't, my love, I promise." I said while holding her. "Are you hungry?"
"No, I would honestly like to get some sleep if that's alright."
"Yes, of course. For now, you can have my room till we get yours set up. Maybe that's something you and Alice can do while I'm gone."
"Ok."
I kissed her and watched her walk up the stair to my room. Now what am I going to do about this Jacob Black situation? I'm not a man of violence usually but I want to get violent with him.
