So, totally random thought, but I was thinking about the 2nd year sports festival for the "problem children" (as I like to call them) and ended up hearing Present Mic announcing Izuku onto the stage as "The winner of lasts years sports festival and Yuuei's one eyed devil, Izuku Midoriya!" and now I can't get it out of my head. What do you guys think? Should I use it when it comes time?

But anyway, here's the chapter.

(The next day)

Class 1-A sat in their seats waiting for Aizawa to start homeroom.

"Right, so I have two announcements. First is, we're welcoming a new student into the class. Well, you already know him actually, but he was given the opportunity to move up to this class and replace Mineta. He did his internship with me, so that I could get him up to your levels. Please be nice to him, or whatever," Aizawa said before opening the door. "You can come in now, introduce yourself, wake me up when you're done. You can sit behind Midoriya." And with that the man was wrapped in his sleeping bag and dozing off in the corner.

Through the door walked Hitoshi Shinsou. The whole class erupted.

"What the hell are you doing here, you droopy eyed bastard?!" yelled Katsuki who was now standing with one leg on his chair and the other on his desk.

"Bakugou, remove yourself from the desk immediately!" Iida yelled, his arms swinging madly.

Shinsou went to respond to Katsuki, "Ah, well the staff decided that I did well enough in the sports festival, and with Mineta being expelled they moved me here. I'm Hitoshi Shinsou. Nice to meet you, please take of me, and don't think for a minute that I'm here to make friends, cause I'm not." Then the boy walked over to his new seat and sat down.

The entire Deku Squad, minus Izuku of course, thought at the same time, 'Yeah, you're not getting much of a choice,' when they saw the beaming smile on Izuku's face and the twinkle in his right eye.

"Great, now that that's over with, on to the next item of business," said Aizawa, unzipping his sleeping bag and standing up. "Summer break is fast approaching, and none of you have a chance to catch a break so..."

"Could it be...?" said a majority of the class in union.

"We'll be going to a summer break forest lodge."

"Hell yeah! I knew it!" Kirishima said.

Izuku knew however, he knew this "summer break forest lodge" was soon going to become their new hell. He also knew however that there was no getting out of it.

"Let's give each other dares!" yelled Mina.

"And fireworks," said Asui.

"Summer break means curry!" said Iida. (Is that and respect all this kid thinks about? He's like Naruto and ramen.)

"However," Aizawa continued. "Should any of you score a less than passing grade on your final exams then you'll be stuck in remedial hell."

Okay maybe there was a way out, but it wasn't any better of an option than the first one!

"Let's do our best everybody!" Kirishima yelled out.

"What a load," said Katsuki.

Once class ended some of the students freaked out.

"I haven't studied at all!" yelled Kaminari and Mina together. Though Mina was more laughing it off and Kaminari was freaking out about failing.

"With the sports festival and internships I never took the time to study!" Kaminari said.

"Hey, S-shinsou," said Izuku. "Are you going to b-be alright for the final?" Shinsou took on a look that Izuku recognized because he'd worn it before. "I-it was that bad, huh?"

"What do you mean by 'that bad'?" Shinsou asked.

"A-ah, well I had to live w-with Aizawa-sensei for two years a-after my mom died, s-so I know how you f-feel." Izuku scratched the back of his neck with his hand.

"You had to go through that for two years?!" Shinsou yelled. "How are you still sane?"

Izuku took on a weird face of his own. "I ask m-myself that every day. I'm n-not even sure that I a-am, honestly."

Izuku looked up to see Yaoyorozu gushing about a study group. "A s-study group, huh? Hey Shinsou, d-do you want to study t-together?" Izuku asked.

Shinsou looked at the younger teen. "You did hear what I said earlier right?" Izuku's eye got wider, making him look even more earnest while Katsuki from behind him held his hands in a way that said "you make him cry, I make you cry". "I'm not getting a choice in this am I?"

"Yay!" And Shinsou instantly regretted saying yes.

During lunch the Deku Squad, plus Shinsou, were sitting at their table talking about the tests when Monoma very rudely wacked Izuku upside the head with his elbow, from the left side.

Izuku reacted, and he reacted bad. He was instantly out of his seat, grabbing hold of Monoma and Judo flipping him onto the ground, and then realizing what he'd just done, he bowed and apologized profusely. The entire group of students in the area just stared in shocked silence.

"I-i'm so sorry. But you h-hit me from my left side, a-and I couldn't see who w-was there and I just freaked o-out! I'm so sorry!" Izuku cried.

"Tch, you 1-A bastards must think you're so great, what with all the attention you've been getting," Monoma said as he sat up, one hand rubbing his sore head. "It seems that you've forgotten you only have that attention because you're stupid enough to keep getting into trouble!" The boy then turned to point at Shinsou. "And you! What the hell are you sitting with those bastards for? Aren't you from general studies?!"

Shinsou continued eating the yakisoba in front of him. "No. I got transferred to 1-A, now stop your bitching already and leave."

"Huh?! What you think you're better than me now that you're...!" Monoma was cut off by Kendo chopping at his neck to knock him out.

"That's not funny, Monoma. Don't you know what happened to Midoriya and Iida?" Kendo said before the boy was completely out. Then she turned to the Deku Squad. "Sorry about this, 1-A. This guy is, well you know how it goes. Anyway I heard you say something earlier about not knowing what the practical test was going to be. I'm friends with an upperclassmen, and while it might be kind of cheating, they said it was going to be just like the entrance exam. So don't worry about it."

"Are you stupid, Kendo?" asked Monoma as he came to. "You just gave away our tactical advantage! This was our chance to finally pull ahead of those bastards...!" And Kendo knocked him out again.

"I told you we don't hate them!" Kendo said. "Anyway, sorry about that. I'll get out of your hair now. Have a good day!"

"S-she's like 1-B's big s-sister," said Izuku to his friends.

Shinsou turned to the rest of the group. "Is he always like that?"

"Who Monoma?" asked Ochako. Shinsou nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty annoying actually. He's been tormenting us since the festival. Especially Deku-kun."

"That sounds rough."

"It is. Hey, Shinsou-kun, the rest of us have hero names already, but did you pick one out yet?"

"Huh? Yeah I did."

The whole table lit up.

"W-what is it?" asked Izuku.

"The mind control hero: Persona." (I got the idea from Reddit so props to whoever DoraMuda is)

"That is... so cool!" said the entire Deku Squad.

"You think so?" Shinsou was rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment now.

"Definitely!" said Ochako. "You're gonna be a great hero someday, I just know it!"

Over the next several days the class of 1-A went into full gung-ho study mode. Shinsou had kept his word and studied and trained with Izuku. They fought each other without quirks to strengthen their bodies, since Shinsou couldn't exactly use his quirk on robots.

Izuku had been pleasantly surprised to find that Shinsou had a capture scarf given to him by Aizawa, though he wasn't very good at it yet, as well a voice changing face guard made by Hatsume.

Kirishima and Katsuki often joined them in their study and training sessions which ended up being more of all out brawls of "manliness".

By the time the test rolled around Izuku felt very certain that he was going to be just fine. He breezed through the written tests just fine, but then came the practical and that was a whole other ball game.

The students, who were expecting a fight against robots, soon found they would in fact be facing their teachers. Izuku was certain, he was going to die that day.

Here are the matchups:

Yaoyorozu and Todoroki vs Aizawa

Izuku and Shinsou vs All Might

Ashido and Kaminari vs Nezu

Aoyama and Uraraka vs Thirteen

Koda and Jiro vs Present Mic

Asui and Tokoyami vs Ectoplasm

Sero and Katsuki vs Midnight

Hagakure and Shoji vs Snipe

Kirishima and Sato vs Cementoss

Iida and Ojiro vs Power Loader

Other than Katsuki's and Izuku's fights everything is exactly like canon. So I'm not going to take the time to write it.

Izuku stood with Shinsou in the center of the mock business center that was their testing center, terrified of fighting against All Might. How could they possibly win in this situation? Even with All Might wearing weights that weighed half as much as he did? This was way too much!

"Oi, Midoriya calm down. We'll be fine. If I use my quirk on him then..."

"Ready? Go!" said Recovery Girl over the sound system. And suddenly All Might was there right between the two teens, blasting them apart with a smash to the ground.

"You don't have time to babble, boys!" said All Might. "You've got much more pressing matters to worry about." Izuku froze. Thanks to the weights All Might was wearing he wouldn't be able to freeze the man in place with his telekinesis. But that didn't mean he couldn't use it on other things.

All Might's smash had broken up the ground so Izuku, making sure his eye was able to see it all, raised up the chunks of earth and started flinging them towards All Might. The man had to smash through each piece and was distracted long enough for Izuku to run towards Shinsou.

"A-are you okay?" he whispered to the boy. After a nod in confirmation he picked him up and slipped into an alley, holding his teammate bridal style, much to Shinsou's dismay. "S-sorry, but we need to get o-out of here fast, and this i-is the best way." Shinsou nodded, but he was still embarrassed.

"Trying to get away, are we boys?" asked All Might before he used One for All to launch himself at the duo. "You should probably move faster than that then!"

Shinsou let out his capture scarf and tried to trap the buff man with it, but All Might simply grabbed it and tugged, pulling Shinsou out of Izuku's arms. He punched the teen in the stomach and the boy dropped to the ground, his lunch officially no longer in his stomach. Then All Might turned to his successor. Izuku panicked and barely managed to get out of the way of a Detroit Smash using Full Cowling. Izuku ran to grab Shinsou, but All Might intercepted him, smashing the boy in the side. Izuku was sent flying out of the alley and completely out into the open.

All Might followed him and Shinsou struggled to stand up and do the same. If he could just get an opportunity to use his quirk! Then they could simply restrain him and win the exercise. At this point he was nothing more than a burden on Izuku.

"I do admire your heroic spirit, Young Midoriya!" All Might said as he walked up to the boy. Izuku was struggling to breathe. He might have broken a rib or two again. "However, you'll have to get much stronger if you think you can beat me!"

"I-i'm not sure I'll ever be a-able to be you," said Izuku. "But, that d-doesn't mean I can't try!" He stood on shaking legs and put his hands in the air. "So, come a-at me All Might!"

All Might smirked. "You know, the stutter really marks down on the coolness of that statement. But here I come!" All Might ran at Izuku, his right fist pulled back. Izuku knew he had to dodge. If that punch connected he'd be in trouble, but it was so fast that he wasn't able to completely avoid it and ended up thrown through the eighth story window of a building nearby.

Shinsou saw his chance. "Is that really how you treat a one eyed cripple, All Might?" he asked, his quirk activated.

"Not under..." Shinsou smirked as he cuffed All Might and the sign at the exit changed to say, "Good Job".

"Advisory: Team Shinsou/Midoriya has passed the exam!"

When Izuku heard the announcement he tried to stand up, but found that both his arms and his right leg were now broken, not to mention the ribs that were definitely broken now if they hadn't been before. He had to be carried out of the building on a stretcher between two robots. When he passed Shinsou he flashed his signature smile, his way of saying "Thank you and good job" since he couldn't actually speak at the moment.

(With Katsuki and Sero at the beginning of the exam)

"Oi, Soy Sauce!" said Katsuki to Sero.

"Hmm? What's up Bakugou?"

"Whatever you don't breathe in her quirk. She'll make you pass out."

"I know."

"Ready? Go!" The field was instantly covered in a pink gas and both Sero and Katsuki were jumping into the air. Katsuki using his explosions to propel himself, and Sero using his tape to pull himself away by grabbing onto nearby spikes of rock.

"You won't be able to avoid it that easily, boys," cooed Midnight. "I've covered the entire area around me and the gate with my quirk, so you'll have to do something about it!"

Katsuki was pissed. He started using his explosions to blow away the gas, and then started blasting the teacher. While Midnight was distracted Sero threw out his tape and bound her arms to her sides.

"Now Bakugou!" Sero yelled.

"Don't tell me what to do, Soy Sauce!" Katsuki yelled back. "I'm already on it!" Katsuki landed on the ground and ran towards Midnight, using small explosions to keep the gas at bay. As soon as he reached the R-rated hero he took out the handcuffs and put them over her wrists. "Are you sure this was a good match-up teach?"

"Advisory: Team Bakugou/Sero are the first team to pass the exam!"

"Hah, that's how it's fucking done extras!" Katsuki yelled at the students who were much too far away to hear him.

(Yes I understand that I did a poor job there, but I didn't want to reconstruct teams too much, and the whole discord between Katsuki and Izuku isn't there in this fic so the canon teams don't work very well. If you have a problem with that oh well.)

(Time skip)

Four students of class 1-A were freaking out about having failed the exam, which Izuku then got two fingers in the eye sockets for trying to calm down.

"When class starts take your seats!" said Aizawa as he entered the room.

"Sensei, what about our exam results?" asked Sero.

"I hate to say it, but four of you failed," Aizawa said. Those four knew exactly who they were and gained down trodden looks. "As such, you're all going to the lodge!" (Then the teacher went on a tirade of explanations that my hands hurt too much to write.) "It was a boot camp to begin with in the first place, and those of you who failed the exam are in need of that time the most." The four students cheered. "However, you will be taking extra remedial classes. You're not off the hook by any means."

(Another time skip cause I'm lazy and its 2:30 in the morning also I'm skipping the whole mall thing so yeah.)

"Rest stop!" yelled the students as the got off the bus. "Or not? Where's class 1-B?"

"To say there's no ulterior motive would be wrong," Aizawa said.

"With sparkling eyes we rock on!" said a female voice.

"Cute, cat, stinger!" said another.

Then the two voices spoke together. "The wild and wild, pussy cats!"

And then Izuku was in fanboy mode again. In the end he had a white cat's paw over his mouth when he tried revealing the women's ages.

"This area is more or less in our domain," said Mandalay. "The place you'll be staying in is on the base of that mountain." She pointed off in the distance.

Some of the students questioned what they were doing there if it was only half way, however Izuku and Shinsou, being used to Aizawa, knew what was coming and jumped.

"It's 9:30 now, so if you book it it'll be about twelve," Mandalay said. And then the ground collasped beneath the students.

I know I rushed, bite me. It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm going to sleep. So there.
