Bracken sat by Kendra's side until morning. When she woke up he kissed her. She seemed surprised, but kissed back nonetheless.

"Good morning princess." Bracken said.

"Good morning handsome." Kendra replied.

Bracken was happy to see that his spell had worked for the rest of tonight. He looked over her making sure nothing physical was wrong. He noticed she didn't shine as bright this morning.

"Do you feel okay?" Bracken asked, feeling her forehead.

"Ya I feel great." Kendra replied. "Why do you ask?"

"Can you see your light?" He asked.

"No, but I've never been able to. You know this." She replied.

"Oh ya right. You were just shining brighter today. I thought you might be able to." Bracken said.

"Oh okay then." Kendra said. "Can we get breakfast? I'm starving." She asked.

"Ya I'll meet you down there. I need to freshen up."

"Okay." She said walking out the door.

Bracken pulled out a coin he hadn't used in a long time. Seth.

Ya why are you contacting me this way? Seth asked.

Because I don't want to say this information out loud. Bracken replied.

What?

I don't think Kendra is here anymore.

What do you mean I just saw her enter the kitchen.

That isn't Kendra. It's someone else.

Who?

I have no idea.

Bracken sat in a room with everyone but Kendra and Ruth. They were originally there to discuss rotations to watch Kendra. Now they were there to discuss Kendra.

"Is Kendra a stingbulb again?" Seth asked.

"No. there wasn't a time when Kendra was left alone long enough to become a stingbulb. Also she still had some glow to her. A stingbulb wouldn't have any." Bracken explained.

"Well what is she?" Warren asked.

"I don't know." Bracken said. "All I know is that, that isn't her. All I'm asking is we play it cool around her. We'll still watch her in rotations. But this time it will be all day. We can't let this spy know too much. I'll work on figuring out who it is."

"Why does this always happen to her?" Vanessa asked.

"Because she has favor with many creatures." Bracken said. "Including Monarchs. This has to be Tryne's doing. I just don't know what he put into Kendra."

Nobody else knew either. They speculated what Tryne could have had access to. They heard the door open and close. Ruth called to everyone saying they were home.

"I'll take the first watch today. We'll discuss rotations later." Bracken said.

Everyone nodded.

Bracken walked out and hugged Kendra. She hugged back.

"I missed you." She said.

"You only went to the store." said Bracken

"I know but I have felt uneasy lately. Tryne is trying all hours now to get in my head. We have to find him soon."

"I know we are working on it. I don't know where to look."

"I do."

"How?" Bracken didn't really want to know the answer.

"I just feel a connection. Ever since you saved me the first time I have felt a pull."

"Where?" He asked.

"In Alaska. Is there a preserve in Alaska?"

"Probably. There are creatures that can only survive in cold climates. Let's talk to Stan he probably knows." Bracken hated this feeling. Just like he was planning to walk into a trap.

"Let's go talk to him." Kendra said.

"How about you talk to him while I talk to everyone else." He asked hoping she wouldn't think that was suspicious.

"Okay." She said smiling.

Bracken sighed. He hated lying. But this spy couldn't know anything vital or that they were onto it. Or maybe they needed this entity to know that they knew. He walked into the room everyone was sitting in. "Guys I have an idea that is a little risky. We corner whoever is in Kendra and make them tell us who it is."

"Your right unicorn. That is risky." Vanessa said. "What happens when they kill our girl. What will you do then."

"I won't let that happen." Bracken said calmly. "I would never do anything to hurt her."

"We believe you." Warren said. "Let's try it."

Kendra walked down the stairs soon after they finished discussing their plan. "What's up guys." Kendra said. "You all look very concerned." Kendra looked nervous.

"NOW!" Bracken yelled unnecessarily.

Bracken grabbed her wrist to trap her mind. Warren grabbed her other wrist so she couldn't fight back. Seth grabbed her ankles so she couldn't run. Vanessa just watched them.

"Where is Kendra?" Bracken asked angrily.

"I am Kendra. What is going on." She replied.

"No you aren't. Who are you?" Bracken asked again.

Kendra smirked. "You don't recognize your own cousin. I'm so disappointed in you."

"Ronodin?"

"Nope his sister."

"Ronodin doesn't have a sister."

"Not one he knows about. Tryne had an affair with a demon. I'm the product of that affair."

"No. No you can't be. Where is Kendra?"

"Somewhere only he can access. If you want her back you need to talk to him."

"What's your name?"

"My name is Emma-O. Just call me Emma. My name means Japanese ruler of Hell. I loved it when they named me ruler."

"Did Tryne raise you?"

"Yes, he did. I understand he left you all for my mother. But he loved her until your people killed her."

"Who was she?"

"I don't know her name. She died before I could learn her name. Tryne never wanted to talk about it." Emma looked incredibly sad.

Bracken sighed. "Your father is in Alaska?"

She nodded. "That's where she is too. Can you let me go now? I won't hurt you."

Warren and Seth looked at Bracken for confirmation. Bracken nodded. They let go.

"Let's plan our trip to Alaska." Bracken said. "Let's save Kendra."

"My daughter has failed me." Tryne said. "But I know you won't. When you re enter your body you will have the power to destroy them all."

He was talking to Kendra's spirit in a glass orb. Her consciousness slowly turned dark.

"They will be powerless to stop you." Tryne laughed as an evil villain would.
