Day Eleven: Mirror
From all appearances, the mirror in her room seemed rather ordinary. Especially compared to the Dark Mirror. The untrained eye wouldn't think much of it at first glance. Or even spare a second one. Due to her experience, however, Kokoro couldn't help but think otherwise.
Many a time she had dreamed of it and beheld strange visions within. It was only later she had realized they had been of the Great Seven.
Now, one could brush it off and claim it was from passing their statues day after day. Not her though. Not when the visions revealed very different stories than what was told.
And if that wasn't enough, every so often, a mouse who called himself Mickey appeared. When she was awake, no less. These particular meetings had barely been clear at first nor did they last long. In fact, it was only recently she had learned his name. Was he from another world? Hers?
Even when she wasn't in her room, the dreams from the mirror persisted. How and why, Kokoro could not say. All she could wonder was what the mirror was trying to warn her about.
(Though the mirror didn't explain her other dreams; the ones that showed memories that certainly were never hers).
Sorry to keep you waiting! Yes, I know this is late (to put it lightly). No, I didn't mean to disappear for months. Again, I apologize for my delay.
This was originally written in the beginning of Chapter Five, so not as accurate anymore. That said, however, it does give a good idea when in the timeline Kokoro is reflecting on all of this. (And yes, pun intended).
Anyways, all I own is my OC, Kokoro. Everything else mentioned here belongs to Disney's Twisted Wonderland.
