Spinner's POV

"We need to find him!" Agura said, coming back from being cut off by Vert. Lani was leaning against the infirmary door, staring down at the ground. "We can't just leave Taylor and Sage unguarded." He said quietly, glancing at the door, before looking back at the ground.

The team all frowned, looking down at the ground as well. "Let's start by just looking for Vert, we'll figure out other details later." Sherman said, and we all nodded. "I'll go tell Sage, and ask her if she can scan the multiverse for the Saber." Agura said, walking off. Grace had left, so Zoom was kinda hanging back, away from the rest of us. We never tried to get him to join in conversation anymore. He had, after all, Taylor in his arms at the fight.

"Okay. Zoom, you stay here. Keep an eye on Taylor. The rest of us will go to find Vert when Sage locates him." Lani said, and I could tell he was reluctant to leave Taylor. "Okay, let's all stay on standby." I suggested, and everyone nodded. While we were walking away, I glanced back, and saw Zoom's shaking hand reaching for the door handle, before he hesitated. He let his fingers brush it, before grabbing it, and pulling it slowly open.

I turned back around, and jumped into the Buster, waiting for Sage to tell us where Vert was, and get us a battle key to get there. "Be swift, team. We don't know how long until Vert vanishes again." Sage said, putting the battle key on Lani's car. "We'll be back with Vert soon." He said, before we all drove out of the hub, and out to the flats. "Hang on, Vert." I heard Agura mutter through the coms, before checking the fusion pod Sage had handed me.

Zoom's POV

I glanced over at the others as they left the hub, before entering into the infirmary, and quietly shutting the door. The room was quiet, minus the beeps from the heart monitor attached to Taylor's chest. I took a deep breath, before walking quietly over to the bed.

I pulled the chair out, sat down and looked over Taylor's bruised body. "I'm so sorry." I whispered, gently taking her hand. I yawned a little, and gently took her hand, before leaning my head against the table as I fell asleep.

Lani's POV

"Alright, let's get in, find Vert, and get out." I said, going through the portal. Everyone else followed me, and we quickly drove off to the Saber's location. When we got there though, there was no sign of Vert. "This isn't good." Agura said, climbing out of the Tangler. I nodded, getting out of the Excalibur. I followed her over to the Saber, and we looked around. There was no sign of any movement around us, and I frowned, turning back to the Buster.

"Spinner, do a scan for lifeforms!" I called, and there was an 'on it' from him, while I watched Agura looking around inside the Saber. "Nope. No signs of lifeforms, but…" Spinner started, before trailing off. "But what?" Tezz asked, and I assumed Spinner sucked in a breath. "There's Sark moving in on our location!" he called.

"Uh, we should probably get moving!" A.J. said and I nodded. "Take out as many as you can!" I yelled, running over to the Excalibur. We each began our fight, but soon we were overwhelmed. "Lani! They're too many!" Agura shouted through the com as she used her Tangler's claws to smash some incoming Sark.

Seeing this, we need the fusion pod right now. I looked to Tezz as he fired EMP blasts as they destroyed some Sark coming his way.

"Spinner, prepare the fuser!" I said, "Tezz, let's see what Splitwire and Excalibur can do if we fuse into X-Blade!" The Russian gave me a nod in understanding.

The Cortez fired the fusion pod and the fusion vortex appeared. Tezz and I race towards it as we enter it. "Unite and Strike!" We both said it together as both the Splitwire and Excalibur fused into X-Blade, similar to the ShockBlade but with a cyan color. My cyan and baby blue shocksuit changed into a cyan and white shocksuit when fused with Tezz and his Splitwire.

"Alright, Tezz. Let's give them a dance off!" I said as I spin the X-Blade rapidly and Tezz fires away multiple EMP blasts as they hit all of the Sark. A few minutes later, every Sark was taken down and destroyed just as the fuse wore off. Causing the X-Blade to return back to Splitwire and Excalibur.

"Alright! Way to go you two!" A.J. cheered.

"No time for cheering." Agura said, "We still haven't found Vert."

"We better take the Saber back to Earth," Sherman suggested, "Then, we can look through the cameras of what happened to him."

We all agree. The Cortez Bros hook up the Saber and we head back to Earth.
