Logan was in his parent's in their bedroom with Pop-pop as he began explaining himself...
Logan: 10 years ago when I was going home from school, I made a decision that I regretted ever since.
10 Years Earlier
A 12-Year-Old Logan was walking home from school, he took a detour and walked past an old building and heard some strange noises when he went inside the alley beside the building, He was curious where those noises came from so he went to see what was making those noise as he saw a broken window he climbed up and what he saw next changed his way of life.
Logan saw some men in sharp suits discussing something along with another man, but he was on the ground covered in bruises, cuts, and was practically bleeding. What Logan saw traumatized him, but he only grew more curious and tried to eavesdrop on their conversation.
?: Look, Victor, I can explain just please give me another chance I promise I won't mess up again.
Logan saw the injured man talking to someone who he guessed was the other men's boss It seemed like his name is Victor.
Victor: Oh Laurence, you disappointed me all you had to do was one job, and you failed it pathetically; It seems like I have to make an example out of you.
Laurence: No! Please Victor, just give me another chance.
Victor: Oh Laurence, we used to be buddies but I'm still the boss a boss must make an example of his failures. Put him in the trunk.
The other guys who Logan guessed were Victor's goons placed Laurence in the trunk of a car as he squirmed and struggled to break free from their clutches. As Logan watched the scene in horror, he accidentally stepped on a plastic bottle with it making a noise that Victor took notice of and saw Logan though only his head as he fled the scene with haste, Victor, and his goons chased after Logan but lost him.
Goon #1: Sir, we lost the boy.
Victor: Don't worry, he won't be able to hide for long, I mean how many kids are there with white hair here in Michigan?
Victor noted Logan's distinguishable white hair and will stop at nothing to keep him silent.
Victor's Mind: I'm going to find you, boy, you better keep your mouth shut if you want nothing to happen to you or the people you love.
Logan ran as far as he could with all his might and eventually found himself home, He went inside, ran upstairs and locked himself in his room as he was scared beyond his mind.
Morning came and Logan wanted to think of yesterday's events as just an awful dream but as he was eating his breakfast, he saw on the news that a man was shot to death and was discarded in the Royal Woods lake; He recognized the man as Laurance the one who Victor placed in the trunk yesterday proving that what happened then was real.
Logan became petrified since he was a witness to a murder he knew Victor would stop at nothing to keep him quiet. Weeks already passed and Logan kept his guard up, becoming paranoid and assuming that Victor was following him if not still searching for him since he was still on the loose.
Two months have passed since then and Logan eased up a bit and calmed down thinking Victor might've given up on him until when he was walking home from school again a mysterious man in a suit followed him with Logan none the wiser.
The man came closer and dragged Logan to an isolated alley and was revealed to be Victor. This made Logan scream internally in terror as Victor finally found him after months of running and hiding.
Victor: Well, well. It took a few months to find you kid or should I say, Logan.
Logan panicked, How did Victor know his name terrified Logan seeing as how he was searching for him, Logan struggled to break free but seeing as how Victor was a grown man and Logan a scrawny kid, the outcome was to be expected.
Logan: Please don't kill me! I have said nothing to the police I told no one I swear!
Victor: I know you didn't kid, otherwise I would be behind bars right now but I can't just allow a witness to run free now can I?
Logan: Please, I promise I won't tell anyone! Just don't kill me.
Victor: Well, I'm a man of business kid I don't like to injure and/or kill minors, but I will if I have to. So listen closely brat, If I ever find out you snitched on me to the police I promise that not only will I kill you, I'll kill everyone you love as well.
Victor: I know where you and your family lives, even your friends aren't safe as long as I'm around kid I know your schools and the routes to their homes so I advise you to keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you.
Victor said intimidatingly as he grabbed hold of Logan's neck and chocked him firmly, Logan tried to speak in between breaths as Victor was slowly choking him.
Logan: I... pro-mise... I... wi-ll.
Victor: Good.
Victor lets go of Logan, letting him fall to the ground and slowly backed off, but not before saying one last thing to Logan.
Victor: Oh and don't even bother trying to find a way out of this kid I will find out one way or another, I'm watching you and family 24/7 wherever and whenever.
Victor walked off into the shadows leaving Logan traumatized of the situation he didn't know what to do next he knew that if he stayed his family and friends will always be in danger so what's a 12-Year-Old boy to do except to leave home and never come back.
(That's Dumb and even I know it but hey I like it and you like it so moving on)
Logan went home, packed some clothes and all the money he had on him which he was saving to buy a gift for his sisters but I'm afraid he won't have a chance to do so, Logan also packed with him several things he might need or sell with him and lastly a picture of his family smiling in the photo.
As Logan looked at it one last time before running off to the nearest bus station, He rode a bus out of town and left Royal Woods never looking back for he knows as long as he's gone his family will be safe from Victor and he will leave them be.
Present Time
Logan finished telling his story and looked at his parents and grandfather with tears in their eyes on the verge of crying, but still held it in.
Logan: And that's why I left, I was afraid that Victor might harm you guys in any way, so with my 12-Year-Old mind back then I left believing that as long as I was gone Victor will leave you guys alone.
Logan: The reason I came back was that I saw in a piece of news that Victor was apprehended years ago and was brought to the prison and soon after died, I would've come back sooner but I knew that Victor had connections to the outside and they might still hurt you guys when I come back so I checked to be sure before finally deciding to return.
A few seconds passed before Logan's parents spoke up in anger.
Lynn Sr: (Furious) THAT BASTARD!
Lynn Sr slams his fist on a table as he was fuming with rage.
(BTW this is a child-friendly story I won't be using curses/swears that often)
Lynn Sr: That man's lucky He's already dead or I would've killed him myself!
Rita: That man threatened our son he's very fortunate to be dead or I would've done it myself.
Pop-pop: Logan, we're sorry for doubting you in the first place, we should've known you weren't the type to just leave your family without a reason.
Logan: Don't worry about it, I was still a kid back then, and I didn't have the right mind.
Rita: So what happened after you left sweetie, what did you do?
Logan sighs and looked at Pop-pop signaling him something and he immediately understands.
Pop-pop: Logan already told me what he did when he left, let me tell it to you guys, he can take a breather for a while.
Lynn Sr and Rita nodded and turned their attention to Pop-pop whilst he was explaining to them what Logan went through when he left. As Pop-pop was explaining things to Logan's parents he received a phone call, Logan stood up and went into a corner to answer the call.
Logan: (Picks Up) What is it?
?: Mr. Logan what you requested for has been complete and also regarding the management of your business, it's been stable, thus far.
Logan: Excellent, anything else to discuss.
?: Yes sir, You also received a call from an individual from japan saying he was a friend of yours he goes by the name of 'Hiroshi' should I refer you to him, Sir?
Logan thought about it for a few seconds before replying.
Logan: Not now, but thanks for notifying me I'll return his call when I'm finished with everything here, that'll be all, Thanks.
?: As you wish, Sir.
The call ends and Logan placed his phone in his pocket and contemplated for a bit before diverting his gaze back to his parent's and Pop-pop almost finished telling them what happened to Him.
Pop-pop: And there you have it, That's what Logan told me on what he did right after he left.
Rita and Lynn Sr were almost on the verge of tears but held it back as they heard about what Logan had to go through all these years.
Rita: I'm sorry, you had to go through all those troubles, my baby boy.
Lynn Sr: We didn't know what you had to go through we're sorry for thinking you just abandoned us, Son.
Logan: It's okay guys, I'm sorry for leaving if only I was stronger back then maybe we could've still been a family.
Pop-pop: It's not your fault, Logan! It was that Victor fella.
Logan: No! Pop-pop you guys, Even though Victor was the reason I left, It was still not an excuse to just leave even without saying goodbye I regretted that decision ever since.
Pop-pop, Lynn Sr, and Rita looked at each other before looking back at Logan to comfort him...
Rita: Sweetie listen, It wasn't your fault okay, True that it was your decision to leave, but you weren't in your right mind because you were scared and frightened back then. Listen to me when I say that it doesn't matter whether that was an excuse or not, what's important is that you're here now.
Lynn Sr: Your mother's right Son, We can be a family again now that your back.
Pop-pop: Yeah Logan, listen to your parents, we don't blame you one bit, we're just glad you're back.
Logan: Thanks' guys.
Logan, Rita, Lynn Sr, and Pop-pop hugs each other, relieving Logan knowing how understanding his parents are, but deep down, he felt a tinge of guilt knowing that he wasn't telling the entirety of his story and kept silent about it.
Lynn Sr: Wait a sec, Son, from your story you're saying that you met a millionaire named Hector, He took you in and made you the sole beneficiary of his entire fortune when he died?
Logan: Yes.
Rita: So in other words, you're rich?
Logan: Correct, You know the money that was sent now and then to you guys from an anonymous source; it was me sending you guy's money to help with the finances and bills.
Lynn Sr: Wait, So the one who was sending us money was you?
Logan: Yeah, it was.
Lynn Sr: [Laughs] Look at my boy, only 22, and he's already a successful man.
Rita: Oh sweetie, I'm so glad to hear that.
Pop-pop: I gotta say I'm impressed, Logan.
Logan: Thanks guys, I just want to connect with my sisters again and get to know the younger ones and brother.
Lynn Sr: Well, we can prepare a room for you if you want.
Logan: [Shakes Head] Thanks, I appreciate the offer but I already bought a house it's the one next door.
Rita: You're the new neighbor?
Logan: Yeah, I am. By the way, I want to invite you all to my house tomorrow night for dinner.
Pop-pop: Sorry Logan, I gotta head back to the retirement home, my curfew's coming up and I'm afraid I won't make it tomorrow, got some business to take care of.
Logan: I understand Pop-pop.
Rita: Well, the rest of us will all definitely be there.
Logan: That's all I ask, Thanks guys I gotta go unpack my things now, stop by when you have the time.
Lynn Sr: We will, Son, Take care we'll tell the kids about tomorrow.
With one last hug, they bid Logan goodbye as he needs to unpack all the items he brought with him. They left the bedroom and as Logan was about to leave the house he heard his siblings (Excluding Lori) shouting...
BIG BROTHER DON"T GO! they said while grabbing him by the rim's of his shirt, begging him to stay as each of them said to him individually.
Leni: PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!
Luna: YOU PROMISED US!
Luan: WHY ARE YOU GOING AWAY!
Lynn Jr: DON'T GO! YOU JUST CAME BACK!
Lincoln: Logan! hang out with us before you go, please!
Lucy: Do you wanna hear the poem I just wrote about you?
Lana: Dude! Let me see your ride now!
Lola: Logan, Big brother, would you like to join me with my tea party!
Lisa: Eldest Brother, I require some of your DNA before you exit the premises so that I can calibrate your genetics.
Lily: Poo-poo!
Logan's Mind: Welp, this is going to take a lot of explaining to do.
Logan: Guys! Don't worry I was just going home to unpack I'm not leaving you guys and I live next door if you need me.
Luan: You bought the house next door?
Logan: Yeah, I'm the new neighbor I was just about to finish unpacking my things.
Luna: Why Big Bro? You could've stayed with us here.
Logan: No offense Luna, but living in a two-story house with 13 people might be a little cramped for me, besides I already sent my things to the house.
Lynn Jr: Good Point, Can we visit you?
Logan: Of course, you guys are welcome anytime and also I already told mom and dad that I'm inviting you all for dinner at my place tomorrow.
Leni: Don't worry Big Brother, we're like totes gonna be there.
Logan: Thanks, See you guys later, I need to finish cleaning up the house.
The Siblings: Bye Logan!
Logan: Bye guys.
Just before Logan was about to leave his sister Leni came up to him and gave him something.
Leni: Logan, wait! I got you something.
Leni gave Logan a picture of the entire family excluding him as a gift.
Leni: Just in case you get lonely, we'll be with you like always.
Logan: Thanks, Leni.
And with that final farewell, Logan left the Loud House and went next door to finish the last touches of his home as he waved goodbye to all his sisters and brother as they waved to him too...
