The next day, Tom was in the driver's seat f The Mystery Machine while Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby were in the this time, with their friend Velma.

"So...what's on your bucket list?" Sonic asked Tom

"Me?" Tom replied

"Yeah, everyone has a bucket list, right?" Sonic added

"Well, sure but, I mean, you're the one leaving Earth and, I don't plan on dieing anytime soon." Tom added

"Oh, don't be so sure. Your best friend is a magnet for danger." Sonic said

"Oh, you're pronouncing yourself s the bestie? That's a little presumptuous. But, I mean, I like you but we're not...BEST friends." Tom said

"You tucked me in last night." Sonic stated

Tom snickered a little at the fact he remembered that and how he phrased it. Mostly how he phrased it.

"Fine, fine fine, best ANIMAL friend." Sonic said

"That would be my dog Ozzie." Tom replied

"Okay, let's just drop this embarrassing topic of conversation. Bucket list. GIVE IT TO ME!" Sonic said

"Okay, there is one thing. In Green Hills, I have always felt more like a babysitter than an actual cop, you know. So I want I chance to prove myself, under real pressure. I'm gonna move to San Francisco, become a street cop. And...I don't know, see if I have what it takes." Tom replied as he looked at Sonic

Tom saw Sonic making this weird face. He didn't know what in the world he was doing.

"Why is your face doing that?" Tom asked

"You're LEAVING Green Hills?!" Sonic asked

Tom rolled his eyes.

"But...why? Why would you leave Green Hills?" Sonic added

"This might be hard for you to understand but Green Hills is a small town." Tom said

"A very small town." Daphne added

"It's not SMALL, there are hundreds of people." Sonic said

"That's a small town, dude." Shaggy replied

"It's a great town, and the people need him!" Sonic replied

"Please, I clean out their gutters, I jump-start their cars in the winter, they could call anybody to do that." Tom stated

'Sure, they could call anybody, but they don't. They call you." Sonic said looking at Tom

IN ROBOTNIK'S TRUCK

In Robotnik's truck, Robotnik walks up to a couple of panels and raises his arms and a bunch of holographic displays come up behind him. He pushes something on one of the panels in a really over the top way.

"Eenie, Meenie, Miney...Mayhem." Robotnik said as he touched the holographic model of a large tank

ON THE HIGHWAY

While Tom and Sonic were in an argument, Scooby looked out the back door and saw a large tank. Robotnik's tank. Scooby gulped as Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, and Velma also looked out the back door and saw the tank.

"Jinkies..." Velma said

"You're not making any sense!" Sonic yelled at Tom

"Would you calm down?" Tom said to the space hedgehog

"You come from a great town with great people, and by my count, ZERO BAD GUYS TRYING TO KILL YOU!" Sonic replied

Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, and Velma noticed the tank getting closer.

"Besides, what could possibly be more important than protecting the people you care about?" Sonic added

Next thing the detectives in the back knew, the tank following them shot out a harpoon.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy screamed as him, Velma, Daphne, and Scooby ducked as the harpoon broke through the window and went right into The Mystery Machine's dashboard

Tom tried everything to get the harpoon out of the dash. Nothing worked. Next thing they knew, the rope attached to the tank started pulling them back. The harpoon was really stuck in the dash.

"You know what?! I was wrong about you. You're not the Doughnut Lord at all, you're more like, the JERK lord!" Sonic snapped

"Have you noticed the harpoon stuck in the dash!?" Tom yelled

Tom ended up hitting the street side railing with The Mystery Machine and Sonic went out the window onto the hood of the car.

"Sonic!"Daphne yelled

"I was FORCED from my home. Your home is perfect and you're leaving it, why would you do that?!" Sonic said to Tom as his body started staticing with blue electricity

Tom noticed what was gong on with Sonic's bodyand yelled, "Your body!"

Sonic looked at his body and said, "No no no, not again!"

"Hold on!" Tom yelled

"Why?!" Sonic said

"I'm gonna do this." Tom replied as he slammed on the brakes not only sending the harpoon flying, but also sent Sonic up

Sonic could barely control where he is going and ends up rolling into a ball and hits the tank sending it into the air and it lands on it's side as it statics with blue electricity a small bit. The tank was emitting smoke as Tom turned The Mystery Machine around and stopped near the tank's crash site

"Sonic!" Tom called

After some smoke cleared, they saw him still curved up in a ball. He then flops out of his ball form dazed as he stood up.

"Guess I had a bonus life." Sonic said just before he regained full consciousness

Sonic looked at the tank and started dancing since he had destroyed the tank and he said, "Sonic 1, Big tank, 0. Did we get that on camera?"

"How are you not dead?" Daphne called out from the back of The Mystery Machine

"I have no idea! Do you see me dancing?" Sonic replied

"Yes, we saw you dancing." Tom replied

IN ROBOTNIK'S TRUCK

In his truck, Robotnik had a view of what was going on. All he saw though was Sonic as he said, "Is that all you got?"

"No, but thank you for asking." Robotnik replied

Robotnik pressed a few things on the holographic display.

ON THE HIGHWAY

Sonic heard some gears shifting in the tank and said, "Uh oh."

"Sonic, get back in the van!" Tom said as he drove off

"You go, i'll catch up." Sonic replied

While The Mystery Machine was driving, Velma and Daphne opened the back doors and Sonic took off running. Sonic then hopped into the back of The Mystery Machine. They looked back as they saw another vehicle of sorts pop out of the bottom of the tank and it chased after The Mystery Machine.

"I think that tank just had a baby." Sonic said

The mini-tank then lifted up a sort of gun and shot out an EMP disc.

"Incoming!" Sonic shouted

Tom then moved the steering wheel out of the way causing the EMP disc to attach to another car and turn of it's power. The Mystery Machine then zoomed past it followed by the mini tank.

Sonic opened one of the back doors and grabbed onto the other one.

"Where are you going?!" Daphne said

"Just keep the car going, you all. I'll take care of this. If I don't make it, just ditch me, you seem good at that." Sonic said as he ran along the road after hopping out

While running, Sonic hopped onto two of the EMP discs and they went the way Sonic was currently going as he grabbed a third one and the other two self destructed as he hopped off of them onto the mini tank and leaned down in front of the camera on the mini tank.

"Hey everyone, welcome back to my livestream. Today, we're destroying robots. Step 1." Sonic said as he slammed the last EMP disc right onto the mini tank and he jumped off and ran back to The Mystery Machine and got in

"We did it!" Shaggy cheered as the mini tank crashed into the side of the road

Just then, a one wheel drone popped out of the smoke and chased The Mystery Machine.

"Like, we did not do it.' Shaggy added

"Who is this guy?" Sonic added

"Do you ever wonder where your tax dollars are going?" they heard Robotnik's voice say over a speaker in the robot

Tom grabbed a flashlight he had and hopped out of the driver's seat and Sonic got in the front seat. Shaggy opened the side door for Tom and Tom went toswing the flashlight at the drone but missed cause of the van moving a little.

"Woah! Where'd you learn how to drive?!" Tom yelled

"Here. In this van It's happening as we speak." Sonic answered

Tom tried to swing at the drone again but missed. He tried again but couldn't reach.

"Bring it in closer, I can't get it!" Tom yelled

'What?" Sonic replied

"Hit the breaks!" Velma shouted

"This one?"Sonic said

However, Sonic instead hit the gas pedal. This sent Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Tom hitting the back of the front seats but Scooby flying out the side door and onto the road and onto the drone. Scooby was screaming for his life the whole time.

"The other breaks!" Tom shouted

Sonic then hit the actual break pedal getting the van close enough for Scooby to hop back in and for Tom to hit the drone. Scooby immediately hopped back in and Tom quickly smacked the drone with his flashlight destroying it. He then closed the side door behind him as Sonic got back in the far passenger seat and Tom got in the driver's seat.

IN ROBOTNIK'S TRUCK

In his truck, not surprisingly, Robotnik wasn't very happy that so far, all attempts to capture Sonic and Scooby have failed cause of ether Sonic or Tom.

"Give me a Big. Fat. Break!" Robotnik shouted

ON THE HIGHWAY

Back on the highway, out of the dead body of the one wheel drone camera small flying drone that quickly caught up with The Mystery Machine and was at the passenger window.

"Aw, this one is cute, let's keep him." Sonic said

Not even a second later, the drone started cutting around the front of The Mystery Machine.

"Oh come on!" Tom shouted

"How can something so adorable be so terrible?!" Sonic said

Slowly, the tiny drone had been cutting along the entire top half of the van. A few seconds later, it almost reached the point where it started cuting.

Sonic poked his head out the window, turned to Daphne and said, "You got car insurance on this, right?"

Exactly half a second later, it had fully cut off the top half of the van and it went flying in the wind as everyone drone went to go back to Sonic but Scooby grabbed it with his front paws.

"Rbuzz off." Scooby said as he took off the chopper blades

He went to throw the rest of it out but it was stuck to him and was beeping.

'Like, that's not good." Shaggy said

"No, beeping is bad, get rid of it!" Tom said

"Ri'm trying!" Scooby replied

"Throw it out the window-throw it anywhere!" Velma shouted

"Like, he can't get it off!" Shaggy responded

"Okay, i'm pulling over!" Tom said as he steered The Mystery Machine off of the road and into the woods nearby and into a clearing

Sonic rushed and grabbed the bomb off of Scooby's paw and ran around trying to get it off of him. Eventually, he stopped and didn't now it was stuck to his head.

"Did I get it?" Sonic asked

"No." Daphne said as she pulled out one of her spare scarfs and ran over pointing at his head

Sonic then realized the small soon to explode drone head was on his head and tried to brush it off.

"Here, hold still." Daphne said as she grabbed the soon to explode drone head with the spare scarf and chucked it a long way

"It's going, it's going...it's still here." Sonic said as everyone noticed that it was on Daphne's hand

Sonic grabbed it with his hand, grabbed a stick, ran over to a rock and pried the soon to explode drone head and made it stick to the rock.

"Haha! Nailed it!" Sonic said as he went back to the others

Shortly after, the thing exploded sending everyone flying and landing on their ides. Sonic got the worst of it and was out cold cause of how close he was to the bomb drone. Tom ran over and tried to wake him up. He eventually realized that Sonic was knocked out cold this time.
