Somewhere in a bar, in Metropolis...

Hundreds of humans and metahumans clicked in layered tallies. Each enfolding their respective actions of desiring options to pick. Some have chosen to take a drink, pledge it to fill their thirst's gauge. Others are implicated in brutal beatdowns amongst themselves, esteeming it as joy to them. Their partying was broken down when a bulleted speed crashed down, landing on a point adjacent to all of them.

Their eyes thrust in shock, actualising it as none other than Superman. As the Man of Steel pressed forward, he birls to a cross-sectioned direction, staring at the section where drinks are locked as presenting statues, displayed. Superman visions a red beam, instantly dispersing the drinks into fractions of what it used to add up as a whole. He moved the direction slowly along the left, destroying the other drinks a row, in the same output-process. He does it again with the rest of the numbered rows, that stack bottles of alcohol on top.

Following the destruction of alcohols he has spoiled, he rotated his eyes to meet with every metahuman, whom step back, scared over what Superman will do to them. They shivered and murk their bodies, shaking.

"I'd like to have you attention on me. It's important. Party's over; eyes on me", Superman requires.

Some of his newly watchers mock him, only to get pounded by a bulky man, whom dressed in a white vest, with black pants. Same bulked man that wears pale brown bands strapped on his arms and his stomach.

As Superman discerns the quietness shifted before him, he begins engaging into his talking approach. "I'm here because the world's in bad shape. We have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it in". Superman heard a war is coming, a war that will mould everything into a devastating engagement of chaos. Latter needs more members to join in his reformed group. The world is relying on the Justice League. Other than that team, there's no force that could par on anything so cliché. "I want you to join...". He punctures his eyes at everyone, merely strict, except being serious. "...willingly". Everyone's eyes direct straight to Superman, listening with open ears. "Before you do, you should know that we have rules. Heroes act in a certain way". He rolls his inner black-balls to everyone. "This isn't it". He rotates his body, spreading his eyesight over more and more people that watch him. "Those of you who take up with us...willingly...will be expected to be as responsible as you are powerful. You'll be expected to behave. Those who don't...". Superman's eyes clench in favour of pushing further on his seriousness. "...will be dealt with". He takes three step forward, motioning his head sideways. "Our job is thankless. But we will do what has to be done. Right now, we're humanity's only hope, and the last to rely upon. Be heroes". Following his speech, he awaits the others to decide for themselves, whether they become a joiner or not.

An hour later...

Washington, D.C.

Hall of Justice

Heroes assembled in one big room, separate from the hallway that links to the entrance. They gathered in provided seats, empowered by Hal Jordan's green aura, which moulded a table and a set of seats, as the previous were unknowingly trashed like wooden corpses.

"I thank you all for choosing to stick with us. Though you are to operate under our rules; if anything is to happen that disturbs anyone over there, you know where your place is. As for our new mission, we have been given from a known source, who we've acquainted with for quite a while even before the League resurfaced", said Superman.

"Who's the source?", Zatanna asked. She then had a thought of someone that has always been Superman's eyes and ears. "Batman?".

"No. Not him. If I did rely on him, he'd immediately decline. He hasn't been so transparently calm with the League since...", as Superman was saying his way, he glances to Hal, Barry, Carter, then back to Zatanna. Hal's side was dated on his disdaining between himself and Batman, whereas Barry's was not out of dislike or hate, but feeling the cold worry of what would happen if Batman would've done something, after a rendering stage. "...you know where it all happened", he declared.

Mia notices everyone's brief flinching ballgame, which made her curious over what they're hiding, if they are.

Superman unleashes a wide arrange of plans that he prior purported, placing people into streams of teams.

Oliver and Kara exchange glances, having distinguished Flash, Hawkman, Green Lantern, and Zatanna's shudders.

"What happened between the League and Batman?", Oliver asked.

"Trust", Spectre divulges, his direction entered by Kara and Oliver's eyes. "They held a dispute of a swarming fire amongst them. Particularly Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, Carter Hall, even Zatanna, one of Batman's closest companions", the entity said. "Didn't evolve to a highly excellent settle. Batman grew so outrageous he tore off Carter's wings as revenge, beat Barry and Hal multiple times till Diana Prince of Themyscira prevented him from finishing the three, and from stabbing Zatanna".

"They're involvement?", Kara inquired.

"Convincing the sorcerer, Zatanna, to wipe Batman's memory after a brutal impact with Dr. Light", Spectre answered, making Oliver and Kara ponder on how a Justice League can even be formed if the League ever goes far to realisation that they can't trust each other.

"Is that why Carter is a hawk now? Mutated?", Oliver asked.

"That is correct Mr. Queen", Spectre approved.

Last Oliver had seen Hawkman was his team-up with the Flash, alongside Hawkgirl, Team Flash, Team Arrow, and briefly with the League of Assassins; to take down Vandal Savage, which went successful. He recalled that day when Hawkman looked more human but seeing him now is a vast change he stood in disbelief of seeing.

'Poor Bruce', Kara thought to herself, empathising for how much Batman had went to manage past on.

Legion of heroes prepare to ready in their stationary positions, setting themselves into separate standards.

Whilst they were getting fashioning, Mia ambled on, about to head over to her position, to the point when Kal placed a hand on her shoulder, prompting Mia to rotate to square up to her relative.

"I'd ask if you submit less involvement in all our missions", Kal stated.

"Why? Because you're scared I might die, similar to my counterpart?", Mia questioned. "Which in head you should ring that she and I aren't alike in what set of actions we share; I've-".

"It's not about that. My concern is strictly formulated on keeping you out of everyone's peeps. Can't have someone like Braniac resurrecting to find out there's a third Kryptonian in this planet", said Superman. He then thought about the time when he was isolating himself in the Fortress of Solitude, at where he witnessed via news Mia's appearance, taking Brick down, and taking Flash away. "If the world saw your face when you made a bold appearance in involving yourself in the eyes of reporters, you would seriously be in danger".

Mia plucks out a breathless gassing laugh, briefly glancing both sides of her directions. "I get it: you want me in the dark, to prevent any prying eyes to discover my stated living", she says. "But tell me this one thing: are you really going to ground me? Like how my parents did in Argo? Or is it about Lois and Jonathan that you made you open your mind to keep your relatives in a locked underworld?". A thought that straight away bursts Superman's eyes. "I hope you're not going to act like that Uncle Kal. I hope not". Right after, she left, directing a nose-way to a secured room. In awhile, Superman decides to drag the thought to one side, focusing on more important things that needed to be dealt with.

Coast City

Metahumans bumbling over in many streets. Green Lantern led his group to engage the enemies. Each of them holding their own. Green Lantern, in his prerogative to ensure the safety of civilians, whom are hinged under parted buildings, or sinking into the river. The scenery seemed another unpleasant aspect that the Green Lantern hated. Albeit the latter knows that it's his mission, in behalf of the Green Lantern Corps, to fortify everyone's safety whilst nailing the villains.

During the moment Green Lantern is lifting a clayed green cup that's compiled with civilians that are later grounded to safer sites, he was hit, struck in a long direction that made him crash into a directed building. Stones of it, falling over. Till a certain ranged level, Green Lantern explodes the layered rocks out, spacing his stand. He then moves back to placing his aid in more civilians that are trapped in other parts in Coast City.

Gotham City

Red Hood and Red Robin, mixed in with a couple of their own teammates, engage a few escapees that are tagged with damagers of metahumans. The two former sidekicks of Batman would've been overwhelmed but the bars tended by dint of metahuman allies of their own, whom fought to keep up with the following destroyers. In regards to the Robins, they enact the chances to arrest the bunch by utilising their gadgets to smoulder them, enough for their allies to tackle them down.

Central City

Flash, paired with a set of his own sizeable bands. They strike forward, initiating in putting down all the corrupted metahumans, and humane criminals, due to Flash's speed in availing them the upper hand.

Metropolis

Superman, by himself, duels with Metallo. The latter displays a tremendous few hits though Superman was mostly suppressing himself as he was considering the stakes of the people in Metropolis. He was still confused as to why Metropolis's main hero, that watched over the planet for the last 10 years, suddenly vanishes. A topic he'd like to discuss upon, when he's safely intact Metallo in his cell.

Metallo throws a punch at Superman's abdomen, to which Kal instinctively registers. He catches it, twisting it, then backing the momentum of his wrist backwards, straight away parting Metallo's left right arm. Metallo attempted to use his affixed kryptonite-heart to wear his opposition down, only to realise it shows no weakness of him.

"What are you?", Metallo exclaims in horror.

"Someone who will make sure you are treated with the best doctors around the world", said Superman. In meeting course, he zips himself with Metallo out of Metropolis in a flashing speed, taking Metallo to a prison camp where he will treated, without hurting anyone.

LexCorp

Lex Luthor remains seated, in a relaxed tone. Her eyes are shut. Her hands are merged together in a ball. The return of Superman has made her ego nothing more than a ant.

"Superman; those puny delinquents think they can reduce me into a driving spoiled carrot", said Lex.

"Perhaps it is time we move to our next act", Vandal declares.

"Not yet", Lex deemed.

"We're losing more and more associates as the Justice League exponentially grow to newer feats", Lord Naga shot back.

"All because they have a bundled hope on their shoulders", Lex stated. "How are they so hopeful? Last I remembered, Superman left Metropolis as a broken god. Lois is dead. A newcomer hero killed the Joker. People praising the wizard, advising Superman to leave because of a new hero they believed would benefactor them". He extends his sight on his allies. "How is Superman suddenly getting this hope?". They all know Wonder Woman left men's world, and Batman disappearing from the public eyes for over 10 years.

"Perhaps Superman had another of his close companions", Riddler lays. "It's what ya pill it in, when one dog dogs out, another replaces it. What is it?".

"Rhetorical don't you think?", Selina asked.

"It's not rhetorical when we have just figured out Superman has a close friend. We just to find it. Then break it, make an omelette", Riddler suggested. To which Lex takes note of, both a chance that someone really close to Superman is helping him, and how to really break him in the inside.
