Author Note

I already uploaded this chapter three times and it keeps vanishing. I think it might be because it had some song lyrics in it which is against the rules.

I never cared for Ginny as her romance with Harry is offputting. She's a background character like Padma Patil and the Harry starts obsessing about her despite barely noticing her existence outside of the second book.

I enjoy toying with you. But don't despair I plan to make use of the resurrection stone in this story.

Twycross Manor. The Wizarding World.

Unlike Hermoine and Raven, I could not spend all my time with my nose in a book I had to get outside, but while the magical side of Britain was supposedly safe it seemed unwise to wander off alone so I'd decided to take a walk around the grounds. As I soon discovered I was not the only one who'd decided to come out on this pleasant summer afternoon in order to enjoy the fresh air.

There, laying on the grass in front of me, was a small woman with wild, dirty-blonde hair. I recognised her immediately as Luna Lovegood, and her being here was no surprise as she'd moved back into the manor now that some plan she'd had to get her father to remarry was in motion. No, it wasn't her presence here that had shocked me, it was the fact that the girl had her leggings around her ankles and she had her right hand down the front of her plain white knickers.

As I watched, the young woman continued to move her hand up and down, obviously masturbating as she laid on the grass beneath a rather tall oak tree that provided shade to those who made use of my garden. Miss Lovegood's eyes were closed tight and I wondered if she knew that I was standing here, watching her. If she did then she showed no sign of this and since she was my willing consort I figured she wouldn't mind me taking in the show.

I could tell that her fingers were moving at a quick pace underneath the thin bit of fabric. The sight of her frigging herself off was very arousing and sadly ended far too soon for my liking as the young woman with lovely silver eyes finished pleasuring herself, making a noise as she orgasmed that I was somewhat familiar with having fucked a few times.

"Hello, Master. Did you enjoy watching me masturbate?" she asked

Given her tone of voice, I could be forgiven for thinking that she'd just made a question about the weather. Which was pleasant as we were enjoying a rare thing called a British summer.

"Yes," I answered.

I was far too experienced with things sexual to be embarrassed. The first time I'd been this age and at college, I'd had some fun outdoors, and I didn't feel guilty for invading her privacy as clearly, she hadn't wanted any. Besides the manor was my home and I was its master.

"Do you do this often?" I asked.

Luna didn't bother getting up since she was quite comfortable.

"Not very often," she admitted. "I do like to masturbate, but people are funny about it so I try to not to upset them by doing it outside. Although thinking on it I should have really sought your permission since I'm supposed to be your fuck toy and this is your home".

I wouldn't want to get caught by strangers while rubbing one out, but I didn't see any reason to ashamed of the act.

"You're welcome to masturbate around here," I told her "But you aren't actually my sex slave. The harem thing is more relaxed than that. Consort or companion is a better title".

As I watched Luna withdrew her hand from her knickers, and then she licked her own fingers.

"I understand" she was now saying "As long as you ravage me as I do like that part".

Well, its wasn't as if I hadn't anything else to do today.

"Stay there I'll start with the ravaging once I've done something I think you'll enjoy," I told her.

I pulled off her leggings and then her knickers, which I put in my pocket as I'd decided to keep them. I didn't think she'd mind as I would give them back to her soon enough.

"Luna, I want those legs open nice and wide," I instructed.

She did as she was told.

"Like this?" Luna asked

She was now looking at me curiously.

"Yes, just like that," I said

I began to explore her pussy with my hand. Until now I'd not focused much on making her feel good as in my view the whole point of having a harem is to have lots of attractive women devoted to me, today would be different.

"That feels very nice," Luna told me "Your rough hands are making me tingle".

Nice to know I was doing a good job.

"It will feel even nicer in a moment," I replied

Now I was pushing two fingers into her already wet pussy. The effect was instantaneous.

"Please do more of that" Luna requested "It's very different to when I do it. It's not as good as when you put your penis inside me, but I still like it".

Her words made me smile as I began to pump my fingers into her faster and faster. I'd been amazed by just how wet this girl could get back when I'd fucked her and as I played with her using my fingers she became positively drenched. I also noted that as she got more aroused she had trouble keeping still, and it didn't help that I was trying to put more of my hand inside her.

"Oh, yes!" she called out "Please, don't stop!"

She didn't shout that until I got to work on her little pussy with my mouth and as my tongue did its thing I felt her hands grip my hair as if she was desperate to keep me there. She need not have worried I fully intended to stay with my head between her legs for a good long while. In the future, I'd have my girls do this to each other, but for now, Luna got a special treat.

I felt sure that what I was doing now wouldn't last long enough for the Seer, so I hoped that she had fun while it lasted. As for me, I drove my tongue deep inside her and moved it about much to her delight. I spent some time lapping up her juices as well as I listened to her reactions, figuring out what got the biggest reaction from her by the sounds she made.

Then when it was done. Luna slumped back and I withdrew from between her legs. Before long I just had to get my cock out so that it could be put to use giving Luna another orgasm, assuming that she was capable of one at this point.

"Take me My Lord" she requested in a very dramatic voice that was more suited to the stage than the gardens of my house "Use me for your pleasure".

I did my best not to be put off by her strange choice of words and got down to business. I spent some time fucking Luna as she laid there in the grass.

Twycross Manor. The Wizarding World.

If Herpo the Foul had ever owned a Horcrux then someone must have destroyed it because the spirit standing before Raven and I looked like any of the other souls we'd summoned here. Greyish in tone and slightly transparent. The only real difference was that we didn't understand a word this spirit was saying because it must be speaking Ancient Greek.

"So you don't speak Ancient Greek?" I questioned Raven.

As it turned out Raven is a skilled polyglot, she was capable of fluently speaking English, German, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian, and Sanskrit, as well as the language of her own people, Azaranian, but she didn't understand any more of what Herpo the Foul was saying than I did.

Just by looking at him, I figured that this man was the ancestor of Salazar Slytherin and by extension Tom Riddle. Herpo looked a lot like Salazar Slytherin only with a beard and he had snake-like features, much less so that Tom Riddle, but it was clear to see that all three wizards were of the same bloodline.

"No, I don't speak Ancient Greek" my consort confirmed, "I didn't think I'd need to. All the ghosts speak modern-day English despite some of them having died hundreds of years ago".

Now that she mentioned it I realised that it was odd that the school ghosts, some of which had been around for a nearly a thousand years, all spoke modern English despite how much the language had changed over the centuries. Ghosts were meant to be unchanging, a pale reflection of who they had been in life, never able to grow as people. Clearly, this wasn't totally true.

"I don't suppose there is some way of translating is there?" I asked.

Herpo the Foul was still yelling at us, but we couldn't hear him due to spell Raven had cast so as to spare our eardrums.

"For the written word there is" answered Raven "but it doesn't last for long and magical texts have protections against those kinds of spells, or I wouldn't have bothered learning Latin and Sanskrit".

Well, that made sense.

"I wonder if Language Lozenges are a thing here?" I said.

Raven had no idea what I was talking about.

"It's one of those fanon ideas" I explained, "You suck on a Language Lozenge and over time you learn the language".

Raven looked offended by the idea.

"If you can learn languages that way then why did everyone in the Triwizard Tournament speak English?" she asked, "And I'm sure there was Ministry person who couldn't speak Bulgarian in the Goblet of Fire book, why didn't he just buy some of these magical cough sweets?".

I could think of a few reasons.

"Aside from the fact that many British Wizards seem to consider anything that isn't them to be lower lifeforms and therefore not worth knowing about" I started by saying "I can think of many reasons why no one uses them. They could be very expensive, or maybe they don't how really easy it actually is to learn these languages, maybe they are a new invention and so they aren't trusted as wizards fear change".

Raven turned on the spot and started to leave. Looking like a woman with a mission.

"Are you going out to try to buy some Language Lozenges?" I asked.

I didn't expect her to reply so when she turned around and came over to me I was rather amused.

"About that," she said, "I don't have any money".

I had no idea what she'd been spending her gold on and it didn't really matter as I had plenty of it. My trust fund had refilled itself and while my side business of selling junk found in the Room of Requirement wasn't making me much profit these days it wasn't as if I had many expenses so I might as well share my wealth with my harem.

The Hogwarts Express. The Wizarding World.

As the train pulled out of the station I took my seat and started to read the paper. There wasn't much about Snape in here despite the word of his disappearance finally reaching public ears. Either no one had noticed or Dumbledore had tried to keep the event covered-up. Both were equally likely in my view, and no one really seemed to care that he was gone.

The rest of the paper contained less important news, very little of which made any sense to me and I ignored the adverts out of habit. Still, I had to admit that some of the stories in here made me laugh even if I didn't understand why any of these events had happened. As for the announcement that I'd paid to have put in the paper, it was finally in there. Soon everyone would know that I'd joined the Twycross family to the Lovegoods.

There was one rather amusing article about some rabbit breeders who had been horribly mauled by a breed of rabbit a Wizard had created. It sounded like someone should have lent them The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch it was a good method for getting rid of killer bunnies. Also, there was a report about Lockhart. Since she wasn't teaching at Hogwarts he claimed to be off travelling again so as to find more adventures to write about.

Reading that report made me want to ask Luna something.

"Any idea who is teaching potions this year?" I asked.

My money was on Slughorn given the short notice.

"I don't know who is just that he's big and jolly, and that you're going to get on with him," said Luna "But that's all I've seen".

It made sense that it would be Slughorn. Dumbledore could have used Potter to get him out of retirement and he'd be a logical choice to head the snake house as well. As for Luna's visions, she couldn't control what she saw.

The newspaper got dull after a while so I took out the Half-Blood Prince book. Raven had found it inside a trunk that was full of books that we'd looted from Snape's place and while most of its tips on potions were of no use to be at my level of education a few would be of use and overall it was an interesting read. Snape had wasted his time by teaching, he should have written books on potions and done some research.

A polite knock at the door jarred me out of reading and I got up to open the door to find an out of breath first-year with a bundle of letters.

"James Twycross?" asked the kid.

Everyone else in the compartment had their nose in a book. I was surrounded by nerds.

"That's me," I said by way of reply.

"This is for you," said the younger student.

A letter was passed to me and once I read it I had to sigh. The Slug Club was already forming and I was being invited to join. Of course, I had anticipated this and it could be a good thing I guessed, the Slugclub tended to be made up of Witches and Wizards who Slughorn thought would go far so I could make some good contacts for the future as part of this club. I didn't intend to stay in this world long enough to even finish school it was just that I couldn't know for sure when I'd get around to completing my objective.

I just wished I knew why I was being invited to join. As far as I knew there wasn't anything about me that would draw Slughorn's interest. I'd done well on my exams but not incredibly well and I didn't have any famous and still-living relatives. Most of my accomplishments were never seen in the paper but perhaps Slughorn had seen enough to clue him into how important I actually was for the future of the wizarding.

Checking the time I realised that the meeting was in a few moments. Slughorn hadn't given his guests much time to prepare. I took a few seconds to decide if I was going to go or not before deciding that I would attend if only to find out why I had been invited. Was Slughorn simply taking an interest because I'd been in the papers so much during the last school year? Or had he noticed me because I was the lost scion of a Wizarding family? Maybe the Twycross family fortune, which while moderate compared to some, had drawn his eye.

Finding Slughorn compartment wasn't hard. It seemed have been reserved in advance and judging by the size of the door it had been expanded as well or it could have been two or three compartments side by side. With Wizards stuff like that is hard to tell due to the fact that internal space didn't have to match external space. Hogwarts was many times bigger on the inside than it was the out.

Knocking on the door I was asked to enter and I found myself inside some sort of posh dining room. Even the roof was higher than it should be. I could tell this because you normally couldn't fit a candlelit chandelier inside a train compartment.

"Ah, Mr Twycross please take a seat" instructed the walrus shaped Slughorn who was sitting at the head of the table like a king overlooking his court "You're right on time"

As I moved to sit down my eyes scanned the room looking for familiar faces. Potter was here, as expected, and I wasn't surprised to see that my seat was next to Susan Bones quite close to Slughorn given her important. Neville Longbottom was sitting opposite me but I didn't know anybody else as they were all much older students. I assumed that they all had important parents and such.

"For those of you who don't know this is James Twycross heir to the Twycross family fortunes," said the Potions Master "Along with a rather nice manor house if the rumours are true".

I was rather shocked that he just told everyone that as I'd made sure never to tell anyone who would spread the news around just how wealthy the family actually is. He read my surprise but misunderstood why my reaction.

"You must have known that the Twycross family fortune was rather large my boy," said Slughorn

As I calmed myself and cleared my mind as best I could in case Slughorn tried to look into my mind I tried not to think about the account ledgers the goblines had shown me.

"Money and a big house," a woman who I didn't know said, "You won't have much trouble finding a wife".

In some sense, I already had one, or an engagement.

"Luna Lovegood already has her mark on him," Susan Bones told the group "they have an arranged marriage, and he has two girlfriends form what I've heard".

If Susan Bones had been a guy I'd of thumped the redhead for that remark. I was already getting predatory looks from the two older girls at the table. Given womankind's ability to transmit information via gossip faster than the speed of sound should allow by the time we were sitting down for the welcome feast at school every person in a skirt would know I was the proud owner of a manor and also somewhat rich. Sure I had an engagement with Luna, but that's not that same thing as a marriage and even that level of commitment wouldn't stop all women from trying to get their hands on my fortune.

Hopefully, none of them would try to make any sort of play for the girlfriend position as while at school I'd gone on dates with Hermione it was common knowledge that Raven spent far more time in my dorm room than she did in hers. If another girl tried to get into my room at night I didn't think the former demi-demon would take it well. Well, she'd forgive Luna as those two got along despite Raven having more in common with Hermione as far as I could see.

I pushed those thoughts aside for now and tried to look as if I wasn't concerned by tucking into the food set before me. Slughorn introduced to some other students some of which I might be meeting again should they make it into the Slug Club. I got the feeling that my membership wasn't in question in fact I was pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to refuse.

Not that I would refuse membership if offered. It would be a good idea for me to start making contacts if I was going to be in this world for a long time, which I might be. For a while, everything was mindless chatter and good food. I didn't mind the food (the pheasant was rather good) but I really found it hard to focus on the discussions.

It was clear that Slughorn was picking out those he wished to groom for success that he could benefit from and I should have paid attention to what he was saying since gaining his patron might be important to whatever plans I came up with later but I spent most of the time staring out of the window waiting for evening to come so I could get off this damn train.

When I got back to the compartment I found my witches all together and an already destroyed diary. It had been stabbed with a fang by the looks of things.

"We found Ginny and took the book from her," Hermione told me "Not that I approve of stealing, but it was better than letting her keep such a dangerous item, and if we'd alerted anyone then she would have gotten into trouble".

So now we just had the cup and Potter to worry about, and while we had a plan to get into Gringotts there was no rush. I planned to spend a lot of time studying while things were peaceful.

Twycross Manor. The Wizarding World.

As it turned out Language Lozenges were actually a real thing despite their existence not making sense. They were somewhat new, one of the few advances made by wizardkind in the past few decades, they were rather expensive and it took about a week for you to learn the language by sucking one of the candies every day. Now that it was done Raven and I had snuck out of the college, something very easy to do, at least for us.

Once back at the manor I'd summoned up Herpo the Foul, who ended up yelling at us for a while until Raven was able to start talking to him about Horcruxes. This took some time and even more yelling as Herpo was well named when someone called him foul, he was unpleasant to be around and he gave us many dirty looks.

"He says that he doesn't actually know if Horcruxes really work," Raven told me "He unmade the only he made shortly before he was killed by a so-called good wizard".

Well, that was very unhelpful. There was no way Voldemort would be feeling remorse. I didn't think he'd have been capable of it even before dividing up his soul, and if there was no other way to unmake a Horcrux that didn't involve destroying the container then Harry Potter would have to die before Voldemort could truly be destroyed.

"Good thing we don't have to defeat the Dark Lord ourselves," I said.

The terms of the contract with the big eye thing stated that I had to help ensure the defeat of an evil faction not actually defeat it just make sure it would be defeated. We could do that by telling Dumbledore about some of our information and since Harry was fated to kill Voldemort I didn't think we'd have to stick around to see it happen.

"Thanks for the help," I told the spirit before dismissing it.

Raven didn't look happy.

"Well that was a waste of time" she complained, "I guess we can't do anything about Potter".

I figured that we'd done enough for now.

"We can still go after the cup" Raven reminded me.

The cup was passed down through the Hufflepuff family, and through the centuries made its way to Hepzibah Smith, a descendant who kept the cup as a priceless heirloom. Back in the nineteen forties, Smith showed the cup to Tom Marvolo Riddle, who was at that time employed at Borgin and Burkes. She dazzled Riddle with the cup and fondly stated she could never part with it. Along with the cup, Smith possessed Salazar Slytherin's locket. She kept them well hidden even from her family members.

Smith was found dead a short time later. Her elderly house-elf, Hokey, recalled mistakenly putting poison in Smith's cocoa, however, Tom Riddle had embedded a false memory in Hokey as he himself had murdered Smith for the artefacts. Tom Riddle fled with the cup and the locket. Smith's family realised the cup and the locket had gone missing shortly after her death, but by that time Riddle had resigned his post at Borgin and Burkes. Tom Riddle was neither seen nor heard of for a decade after that.

Riddle, or Lord Voldemort as he called himself at that point, transformed the cup into his fourth Horcrux, using Smith's murder as the tool. Many years later he left it in the care of his trusted Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange. Although she did not know that the cup was a Horcrux, Lestrange treated the object with extreme priority, storing it in her family vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, considered to be impossible to plunder.

In addition to the bank's extensive security measures, it was protected there by a spell which would cause any object to multiply exponentially if touched by anyone other than the vault's owners. In addition to this, a further protective curse was placed on the vault to cause the objects to glow hot as fire and burn the flesh of anyone trying to remove them without authorisation.

"Although I'm not sure if we should since at this pace we'll defeat the Death Eaters too soon" Raven was now saying "We can capture a good number of them without much trouble since we know who they are and I can batter down their magical defences".

She had a point. I needed a lot more tutoring and lessons before I was ready to call myself a proper Wizard so perhaps it would be best to focus on my studies for a time while having some fun like the other students would be doing.

"I'm going to have to create a spell that extracts part of a soul for Harry Potter" Raven was now saying "But we'd have to come clean to him about everything or abduct him and I'd rather not to that in case we get caught".

My thinking was still on studying for the next year, which should be peaceful with no one opening up the Chamber and no Lockhart to annoy me.

Hogwarts. The Wizarding World.

So far everything had gone as expected. Luna had been Sorted into Ravenclaw and there was no sign of anything odd happening. Having Sirus Black as our Defence Teacher meant that we'd be facing the boggart in our second year rather than third.

From my studies and my memories of the movies/books I knew that a Boggart is a shape-shifting non-being, meaning that it was not a living creature, that takes on the form of its observer's worst fear. Because of their shape-shifting ability, no one knew what a Boggart looks like when it is alone, as it changes instantly upon encountering someone. I also knew that a certain teacher must have gotten help when writing up his lesson plans and who he'd gotten that help from.

"When facing a Boggart, it is best to have someone else along" I heard Professor Black saying "So as to try to confuse it, since facing more than one person at once makes it harder for the boggart to know what form it should take so as to scare people away, but you may face one alone so you need to know how to deal with them".

Professor Black went on to explain to us about how he'd found this Boggart inside a desk while cleaning out his house and how he'd brought it here for us to practice on. Since Boggarts can't be destroyed, at least not by any method wizards knew about, they had to be contained. Where they were all stored after capture I didn't know, but I suspected the Ministry had some sort of long term storage facility somewhere. Perhaps in the Department of Mysteries.

"The Boggart-Banishing Spell is Riddikulus. The charm requires a strong mind and good concentration" we were now being told "The incantation and wand movement alone will not affect a Boggart. The spell can be tricky because it involves making the creature into a figure of fun, so that fear can be combated by amusement. If the caster is able to laugh aloud at the Boggart, it will become confused and try to retreat".

I knew that the fears of adults are more complex than that of children, but we all have something that scares us that isn't that complex as our childhood fears can come back to haunt us and a Boggart took advantage of that. Some of the witches and wizards did have a simple fear, and some were more complex, like seeing themselves wasted away due to an illness.

"Sometimes the Boggart might need a few moments to figure out what form to take," said Black when it was my turn "Give it some time".

I had some skill with Occlumency and the whole point of Occlumency was to stop anyone from seeing into your mind so the Boggart might not be able to find one of my fear. It would be an interesting test of my skills and indeed the Boggart seemed to struggle as I was able to keep my thoughts free of my fears.

Alas, Occlumency is something that can take years to master so the Boggart found a form to scare with me. That of a xenomorph, something that had terrified me as a child and still sent chills up my spine even now. Not all of the classmates reacted well, some of them must have been exposed to enough muggle culture to understand how scary this thing could be. I was very glad that this had not happened in front of a class full of children or I'd have had a much harder time focusing on what I needed to do.

"Kill it with fire!" someone yelled.

I remained in control and recalled something that could help.

"Riddikulus!"

I'd just recalled a short bit of the Space Balls movie and thanks to the spell the xenomorph ended up singing and dancing its way back into its closest along with tophat and cane, much to my amusement and of others. My amusement didn't last long as Raven had been behind me and soon she had to face the creature. Her big fear was her own demonic self and while Boggarts can't physically hurt people it's not at all pleasant to have tentacles of dark power all around you.

Again I cast the spell and I put the demonic Raven in the same dress the real Raven wore while under the control of Mother May-Eye which was an abomination yet very funny. This caused a great deal of laugher from everyone other than the real Raven. I got the impression that I'd be sitting with Luna at meals times and that I should invite the Seer to my bedroom if I wanted company because the other Ravenclaw witch I knew wouldn't be keeping me warm at night.
