Suika : oh my god you actually realised your feelings ( I thought I'd be 80 years old before I'd see this) ( some teasing later) but you must be tensed right ( damn that shuichi he has good intentions but really)

Shuichi : yeah, you have a time bomb on your head if you aren't able to confess in the next 6 months who knows when you will see her next

Nishikata : I have 6 months right i'll figure something out...

Suika : ok but also I have some bad news, we won't be able to come on your birthday, one of my friends is having her wedding.

Nishikata : oh ( looks a bit sad) so im gonna be alone...on my birthday...

Shuichi : don't worry you can spend it with your friends... Plus we can have another party the next day... But still well give you the present early...

Nishikata : really... ( opens the present) clothes? I have enough already

Suika : ( I'll never understand how boys can be satisfied why only 6 pairs of clothes) your clothes are so bland, Takagi-chan has the fashion sense of a supermodel and you don't even have the fashion sense of a grain of sand

Shuichi : I couldn't agree more... ( sheepishly)

Suika : shut up shuichi you aren't any better ( he literally depends on me for good clothes) whatever, try it out don't you wanna impress her?

Nishikata : (blushes and changes into the new clothes)

Nishikata : so how I look?

Shuichi : you look cool... You have to treat your friends today right? Well suika wants to shopping today so let's just go together

Nishikata, shuichi and suika all travel to the mall which happens to be the same mall where takagi, sumire, houjou and mano were shopping

Nishikata : ( waiting in the food court where they all agreed to meet) ( those bastards are late as usual) (his phone rings) hey where are you guys?!

Kimura : their was an accident on the entrance, so we have have to take a detour I'll text you our order just order them in advance okay...

Nishikata : ( waits for the text and then goes to the order) excuse me! ( he says at the same time as a voice beside him) huh?! Takagi?!

Takagi : nishikata?! What are you doing here? ( damn... He looks so good in these clothes) were you following me perhaps? (teasing smile)

Nishikata : OF COURSE NOT (he shouts and then while ordering food) I am just hanging out with my friends...

Takagi : I didn't know you had imaginery friends, I mean I don't see anyone ( teasing smile) you sure you aren't following me

Nishikata : ( blushes) they're just late cause of the accident at the entrance...

Takagi : I'm just shopping with my friends ( she motions over to her friends)

Nishikata : ( looks over and waves over to them) hamaguchi, nakai, takao and kimura are gonna be her soon too so I'll just go and take over a table ok bye...

Takagi : ok then ( after he leaves she blushes violently) ( why does he suddenly look so good) ( she scrambles back to her group)

Houjou : what happened takagi? Your blushing

Mano : houjou-chan ( motions over to nishikata)

Houjou : ~oh~ (she teases takagi) (now I know how his popularity shot up)

Sumire : not gonna lie... Those clothes look sick ( she gets glares from mano and Houjou) what?

Takagi : let's just get the food...

Sumire : so you got so embarrassed about him that you forgot to get the drinks...

Takagi : oh shit ( she went back to the immediately got the drinks while all three laugh and tease her) let's just take these, go check out the clothes (she got determined to make him blush with a new look)

As takagi and her friends went out of the food court they bumped into nishikata's friends and they all talked for a while after which his friends went for the party and takagi and sumire separated from mano and houjou to do their shopping

Takagi : sumire let's go the clothes store first

Sumire : damn you really wanna impress him tomorrow don't you

Takagi : well yeah ( I was speechless when I saw him)

Sumire : well then let's go ( she's gonna be one hell of a needy girlfriend)

Takagi : stop thinking weird things

Sumire : (again?!) yeah

They enter the clothes store to see suika dragging shuichi around the store

Takagi : hey shuichi-san

Suika : takagi-chan? I wasn't expecting to see you here

Shuichi : what are you doing here?

Sumire : ( so he's nishikata's brother) we're just shopping for tomorrow?

Shuichi : oh ( weakly at suika) are you done yet?

Suika : no and help me pick a dress for the the wedding already

Takagi : wasn't your wedding like 2 months from now?

Shuichi : it's her friends wedding ( I am so happy I won't have to help her shop for the wedding dress)

Sumire : ( wow this is awkward) I'll go on and continue shopping kay..

Shuichi : ( he looks half dead) can we stop already... I'm tired of you trying on different clothes ( she looks amazing in everything anyway)

Suika : no way ( looks at takagi) I know why don't you play a game with Takagi-chan all changing booths are filled already...

Takagi : fine with me

Shuichi : honestly, anything is better than shopping... So the first round is trial okay?

Takagi : we each suggest a game every round the the one who scores 15 wins first wins okay

Shuichi : ok hmm... Whats the first game?

Takagi : we have to make each other laugh ( pulls out her funny face which always works on nishikata)

Shuichi : ( not even fazed) that's not gonna make me laugh

Takagi : ( so he is stronger than his brother) well then the first was trial anyway so what's the first game?

Shuichi : from now on we can only speak using 4 or less words

Takagi ; that's a weird game

Shuichi : yes it is

Shuichi starts the game

Shuichi : yuki jumped into lava

Takagi : that is one weird sentence

Shuichi : thats 5 words ( 1st win)

Takagi : no way that counts, it's not fair!

Shuichi : 2 wins for me...

Takagi : no that's playing dirty!

Shuichi : that's how I play...

This game goes on for a while and the final score is takagi-0 and shuichi-16

Takagi : (I underestimated him, I thought he would be easy to trick)

Shuichi : I'm not as easy to trick, but I

Takagi : ( I am supposed to be the mind reader) what?

Shuichi : I'm surprised that yuki falls for these tricks ( I know he can be stupid sometimes but he's intelligent)

Takagi : what do you mean?

Shuichi : I think it's self confidence

Takagi : come again?

Shuichi : ( with almost no expression) the only reason yuki falls for your tricks is because he doesn't have any self confidence ( maybe because he realized his feelings his self confidence got boosted)

Takagi : that make sense ( that would also explain why he was able to tease me yesterday)

Shuichi : meaning if he becomes confident in himself he'll be immune to your teasing ( makes a smile) maybe I'll teach him how to tease you instead ( chuckle)

Takagi : no please don't ( laughs)

Suika : so who won?

Shuichi : it was me ( smile) 0-15... I know the winner can make the loser do anything right?

Takagi : well yes -

Shuichi : ( sighs in relief) then Takagi-chan your punishment is to help her choose a dress ( so that I can get out of this store) bye ( he runs out while giving takagi a "I'm sorry and thank you" look)

Suika : ( shuichi you just wait) let's pick some dresses for you and sumire too

After shopping for a few eternites takagi and suika found everyone houjou was seen embarrassed with hamaguchi, nakai was spotted along with mano and takao, kimura, nishikata and shuichi were having the time of their lives in the arcade... They all eventually left the mall and went home

A/N : this chapter focuses more on the casual life of all the characters than on takagi and nishikata only ( to be honest the only reason i wrote this was cause I didn't really have a plan on how the school dance would go)
