Once Luckee gave them breakfast, she decided to untie Tealin. Much to the shock of her family. She calmly turned to them. "I just want to know more about their world. Besides," She pointed to the nearest window. Storm was happily munching on some unknown creature he caught. "Storm is the only one who'll keep him in line. I don't think he'll do harm to me." Shen knelt down and untie the ropes. It took a while since she had issues tying the tougher knots.

Craven stepped next to Luckee. "You best let me be with you." He said. He glared hard at Tealin. "Just in case."

Tealin sighed. "Let's just talk about my home before someone bursts smoke out of their ears." He cleared his throat. "As you know, our home was dying for quite some time. We've had nothing but never ending feuds between our tribes for quite a while. There were five in all." He went over to the table and handled the parchment. He drew five symbols that formed a star with a strange woman with an antelope head. "The Sluggans. Being my tribe, we specialize in magic and patience. Queen Maroon and her sister are part Tasins: A powerful and fierce clan. Their family ruled over Novin for generations. Blativir…" He turned to glare at the former Briar Knight with annoyance.

"Captain to you, Sluggan." Blativir said. Then, he turned to Luckee. "Though feel to call me heart captain, darling dumpling Gelfling." He smirked.

Luckee blushed hard. If her face turned any redder, she might as well look like a tomato plant. Then she laughed as Kai threw a piece of wood at him and growled. Even Craven smiled approvingly of the little Skeksis' fierceness.

"Don't mind him." Tealin said. "He's always been like that with every female he's encountered. Believe me. There's nothing special about him." He unleashed a tentacle to shut Blativir's mouth before he could say anything else. "His clan are called Gliders. They live in mountains and areas where there are a lot of wind currents." He squawked as sharp teeth hit him.

Blativir went smugged again. "I think those dainty wings would look so divine back home. You sure you're not a natural heartbreaker?"

This struck a chord on Luckee. She, her parents and her siblings are the only living Gelfling in Thra. Her eyes blazed an emerald fire. Her heart throbbed. "How would I even know that?!" She didn't notice that the Skeksis were starting to look distressed. Issaic and Star being the most alarmed by this. "My family and I are the only Gelflings alive! I practically have their future on my back! You have no idea what we've been through! So just take those snarky comments and-" Her words were cut off when crying erupted. Her fury vanished once she saw Star, Issaic, River and Melo were crying.

Luckee went over to them. She gathered them in her lap while Kai simply stood over them with concern. "There. There. No need to cry. I'm sorry. I got very angry. I was only upset." She hushed them and rubbed each of their backs gently. To her relief, Storm poked his head as much he could in the window which stopped the crying almost immediately. She smiled when River reached out to him. She took a deep breath then got up. "Tealin, if it's alright with you, I would like to take the children outside and we can discuss more."

"I... have no complaints there." Tealin looked nervously at Storm before following Craven and Luckee outside. He ignored the confused, if not concerned, look on Blativir. Sometimes, I don't know what goes on in that thick head of his, he thought. Once he was outside, he had to take a few moments to calm down as the horned creature focused on him with his orange eyes. He cleared his throat. "Right. The other two tribes are the Lemmels and Hiopns. Lemmels are daredevils despite their cuddly looks and Hiopns are burly and known for building stuff with a passion."

"What about the Golems?" Craven asked. His eyes wide with interest.

"They are without feelings. Just simply mindless servants that the Goddess of Fate provided."

Luckee tilted her head. She had one eye carefully watched Storm as River tried to climb up his back while the other children were continually playing with their toys. Storm simply purred. However, the goddess seems to intrigue her. "Goddess of Fate? Who's she?"

With a tentacle, Tealin drew the antelope-headed person that was on paper earlier. Her arms were outstretched. "Destina. That's the name she goes by. Her power is to decide or look into the fate of others. There has been a superstition back home that those with green eyes like yours have the power to protect those from a darker fate worse than death. As well as being the most generous and fortunate of them all."

"I don't think that describes me much." Luckee said. Suddenly, she felt a tug and saw that Star was looking up at her. She couldn't help but coo a little when the little baby reached out to her. Luckee picked him. "I've only got this far because of sheer luck alone."

Tealin moved his eyestalk closer to Luckee. His eyes filled with genuine concern. "I've heard stories about what happened here." He fiddled with his tentacles. His mind whirling about what to say next. Then simply not to bother with it if she wasn't ready to talk. After all, the children were already upset as it is. He began to continue describing his homeland and drew a map of what his world looked like. As much as he tried to since Melo kept rummaging the dirt. The sea water that gave way to Wind Gulls and kelp patches. Salty air that would make an outsider sneeze. The crags that they called home.

Luckee and Craven were entranced by every word he said. Even the little children seemed to be listening to some of the story. Then, Luckee had the chance to ask the question that she needed. "Why couldn't use your magic on me now?"

Tealin looked embarrassed. "I'm afraid our magic is connected to our land and our souls. The magic within us have a limit. If we use too much...We perish. Our home gave us an endless well of magic. Now, we have to rely on each other in order to perform a spell or stay near the ship."

"That must be the reason why Queen Maroon is hunting the crystal and not chasing after you." Craven said. "She must not be strong enough to use her power to complete whatever spell was used."

Tealin sighed. "I shouldn't have told you that. If she finds out…" He shuddered.

Luckee stood up. She gently set Star down. She wanted to ask how the UrSkeks are involved with their planet but it would only distress the Sluggan more. "Tealin. I know that I just met you and started learning about this, but I think maybe it would be best if you don't go back. They treat you poorly there. No one's life should be threatened. Your queen shouldn't have to rely on force for everything." She rubbed her hand at the back of her head. "I should know. I've tried it once."

Tealin was quiet for a moment. There was a sense of softness in his eyes as he looked around the outside world of Thra. Something about Luckee makes him feel warm. Appreciated. His life no longer threatened with a blade. His heart froze briefly as he thought of Queen Maroon coming after him. "I'll think about it...In the meantime, I'll straighten out Blativir for you before your children go in." With that, he was brought back in by Craven.

Luckee smiled slightly. At least I'm getting somewhere, she thought. Suddenly, she noticed Storm sniffing each of the Skeksis. They all giggled as he grunted and swished his head in disgust. Luckee looked down at Star. She picked him up to realize that he was starting to smell bad. Her face contorted with disgust. "Guess it's bath time for everyone."
