The entire room of genin looked like their eyes were about to pop out - that annoying loudmouth was right?

Sakura and Sasuke looked at each other, then in Naruto's direction with pride. Sakura thought, "That's my Naruto..."

Naruto screamed "YATTTAAA!" in excitement.

It wad then that a purple-haired woman barreled into the room, and when Naruto saw who it was, he cowered behind his desk.

Kiba asked, "What the Hell are you doing?"

Naruto responded, "Shut up, Dog Breath! That's Kakashi's crazy girlfriend, Ms. Anko!"

Anko greeted Ibiki and asked, "Am I early? The room's still almost full."

Chuckling, Ibiki told her, "You're right on time, Anko. It's just that Naruto over there figured out the tenth question and stopped anyone from quitting."

Anko scanned the room, looking for Naruto. "Where is the little guy?...", she muttered quietly.

When she couldn't find him, she shouted, "NARUTO UZUMAKI, GET YOUR ASS UP!"

Naruto slowly rose, quivering as he stood straight and had a fearful look in his eyes. "Y-yes, Ms. Anko?", he asked.

Anko immediately threw a kunai at Naruto, which swiped his cheek and embedded itself into the desk behind him.

Anko said, "That's for giving me more work to do!"

Naruto sheepily replied, "I'm sorry..." and wiped the blood off of his cheek. "At least she didn't lick it this time..."

Anko then commanded, "All of you, come with me! You're moving on to the second part of the chunin exams!"

All the genin got up and followed Anko out of the room.

As Team 7 left, Sakura put a big heart band-aid on Naruto's cheek.

Ibiki decided to see just how well Naruto was faring on the first nine questions of the exam. He walked to Naruto's desk, looked at his paper, and deadpanned.

"He only wrote his name..."

Anko led the genin to a big gate in front of a massive forest.

She stood by a desk at the gate and told the genin about the next part of the exam.

"This is the Forest of Death! For this part of the exam, you will receive a scroll that is labeled either 'Earth' or 'Heaven'. Your goal is to receive a scroll of the other label and take both scrolls to the tower in the Forest. If you open the scroll beforehand, we'll know, and you'll fail. You have 5 days. If any member of your team dies - which is possible - the whole team loses. If any member leaves the Forest, the whole team loses. Do you understand?!"

All 78 genin nodded and said, "Yes, sir!"

Anko then handed everyone a piece of paper. "Sign these consent forms and you can go in."

As Team 7 signed their consent forms, Naruto was approached by a rectangular cardboard box.

He sighed. "I know it's you, Konohamaru."

A voice squeaked out from the box, "You may have known that it's me, but you couldn't have expected... The Konohamaru Squad!"

Konohamaru and his friends popped out of the box and posed.

Naruto smiled and ruffled their hair.

"Listen," he said, "As much as I wanna spend time with you guys, I've gotta take this exam, alright?"

The kids saluted, "Yes, Naruto-sensei!". They then ran off.

As the genin filled out their forms, they gave them to Anko and went into the forest after receiving their scrolls.

Team 7 was the last team, and Naruto seemed to be thinking about something.

Anko taunted, "Having second thoughts, kid?"

Naruto replied, "You wouldn't happen to have a map of the Forest, would you?"

Anko's eyes widened. "He's the only one who asked..."

She smiled, then pulled out 3 maps from her desk and gave them to each member of Team 7. "Since no one else got one, you can have them."

Naruto then asked, "Can we have more, please? I'm thinking that we could make an alliance with some other teams or something, y'know."

Anko ruffled Naruto's hair and chuckled lightly. "Take as many as you want.", she offered. Then she smiled warmly, gave him a motherly peck on his cheek, and remarked, "You really are a bright kid, Naruto."

Naruto flashed his own warm smile and said, "Thanks, Ms. Anko, that means a lot to me, y'know!". He then applied a storage seal into the desk, and used his pouch to summon a book with cards in it. He pulled out a blank card and made a seal on it that matched the storage seal in the desk.

Team 7 then handed in their consent forms, received their Heaven scroll, and finally walked Into the Forest of Death.

Upon entering, Sasuke had an idea of his own.

"Naruto," he suggested, "can you use your shadow clones to find other teams?"

Sakura eagerly added, "You can also put the hiraishin mark on your clothes, and it'll be copied onto the clones!"

"You bet I can!", Naruto responded. He proceeded to summon a few dozen low-chakra shadow clones, who all ran off to find other scrolls.

A mile into the forest, Team 7 reached a clearing.

Naruto stopped and said, "I need to take a piss, gimme a minute."

As he walked to a bush nearby, Sasuke smirked, "Don't peep, Sakura."

Sakura looked back at him, put her hands on her hips, and replied, "I should be saying that to you; after all, he is your first kiss!"

Sasuke clapped back, "And I'm not his?"

Sakura smirked and told him, "Nope! I've got you beat by half a year!"

Naruto had finished his piss.

He was walking back and waved, "I'm back, guys!", but was immediately swallowed up by a massive snake that shot out of the ground.

However, Naruto used his hiraishin to appear right next to Sakura, using the mark in the three-pronged kunai he'd given her.

He was covered in reptile slime, eliciting gagging from his teammates, and a germaphobic freak-out from himself.

Just then, a very pale man ran out of a bush, grabbed Sasuke, and bit him on the neck, causing Sasuke to scream in pain.

Naruto yelled, "You damn pedo, did you just give him a hickey?! Who even are you?!"

He tossed a kunai at the man, who dodged it, but not before Naruto had grabbed Sasuke and gotten back to Sakura.

The pale man licked his lips. His raspy voice said, "I'm Orochimaru...", he grinned, "Thisss will be fun..."

Then, Naruto held onto both Sasuke and Sakura, and just disappeared.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Orochimaru yelled.

Naruto teleported his team to a clone that was near a river.

Sakura washed Sasuke's arm where Naruto grabbed him, and washed her own arm too.

Naruto told Sakura to look away, and he undressed and bathed in the river.

She didn't listen.

She watched Naruto using a bar of soap, shampoo, even a loofah as he bathed.

Then, he used his pouch to summon the book again, this time, pulling out a fresh new set of clothes.

When he approached his girlfriend, she feigned innocence and asked, "How'd you get the new clothes?"

He answered, "Storage seals!", and pulled out the book. "Every card in this book is sealed with an object that I have stored in a container with the same seal."

"So, it's the same principle as the hiraishin jutsu?", she asked.

"No," he replied, "with this kind of storage seal, the seal has to have the information of what is stored, what it's stored in, and where it's gonna go. It can only store the object that it's assigned to in the space that it's assigned to. I use the same system for all my kunai. The hiraishin just uses checkpoints for me to teleport to."

Sakura nodded and gestured to Sasuke." What'll we do with him? ", she asked.

Naruto thought about it. "We might luck out and a clone could appear to give us a scroll now. Then, we just have to carry Sasuke to the tower."

Just then, a Naruto clone appeared! It was holding a scroll in its hands, which it handed to the real Naruto. "Here you go, boss, Earth scroll!". The clone dispelled, giving Naruto its memories.

Sakura asked, "How'd it get the scroll?"

Naruto looked at her, "It was quite devious..."

Flashback

Naruto's clone snuck up on Team 8, holding a decoy scroll in its hands.

It approached Team 8, and saw Shino holding an earth scroll.

They all greeted him, "Hey, Naruto!"

The clone greeted them back.

"I propose a trade... I managed to snag this heaven scroll from another team, but my team needs an earth scroll. I give you this, you give me that. How's that sound?"

Kiba immediately was fuming. "No way, asshole! We outnumber you! We can just take the scroll from you anyways!"

Naruto's clone smirked.It explained, "I'm just a shadow clone. If you try to make a move against me, I'll open this scroll and dispel. Then, since you're the only team around, you'll fail the exam."

Shino pondered the clone's words. "Deal.", he said.

Kiba began protesting, but Hinata shut him up. "H-he's got us trapped, Kiba! He's got nothing to lose, a-and everything to gain from this exchange!"

Kiba grumbled and said, "Fine."

Shino tossed the earth scroll as Naruto's clone tossed the heaven scroll.

Shino looked at the scroll in his hands and realized that there was no label on it."This is fake!", he exclaimed.

"Yeah, about that...", Naruto's clone said. "You still can't do anything to me since I have your real scroll now, y'know... But I do feel kinda bad for tricking you guys like that. I'll have boss send some clones your way and help you find real scrolls. Bye, now!"

Naruto's clone teleported back to the real Naruto as Kiba swore at it.

Flashback over

"That really is devious...", Sakura said. "But then again," she added, "You're gonna send them some help, so it's not like you're the devil or anything.". She giggled.

Naruto smiled at her and sent a trio of shadow clones to find Team 8 and assist them in finding scrolls.

Naruto also summoned some clones to pick up Sasuke.

It was then that he noticed a mark on Sasuke's neck, right where Orochimaru bit him! "Sakura...", he asked, "Do you know what this thing is on Sasuke's neck?"

Sakura looked at it and told him, "No... But that's exactly where the snake guy bit him!". Her face increasingly showed worry. "We gotta get him help, quick!"

Naruto's clones picked up Sasuke and Sakura used a map to get directions as Team 7 rushed to the tower.

Team 7 was lucky enough to have not encountered any other teams throughout their trip to the tower.

There was a close call with that Sound team, but thanks to Naruto's stealth prowess, they managed to avoid bumping into them.

Now in the tower, Team 7 immediately called for medical attention for Sasuke. It was Kakashi who arrived, and his eyes widened when he saw the mark on Sasuke's neck.

He assured Naruto and Sakura, "I think he'll be okay. You two can go on without him; just open the scrolls. Good luck.". Then, he grabbed Sasuke and took him to the infirmary in the tower.

Naruto and Sakura opened the scrolls; Naruto opened the earth, and Sakura opened the heaven.

The earth scroll read, "If you do not possess Heaven, refine yourself and be prepared."

The heaven scroll read, "If you do not possess Earth, roll in the mud before cleansing your soul."

Naruto and Sakura looked at each other. "What does this mean?", they asked each other.

Iruka then appeared.

"Congrats, you two!", he said. "I heard about what happened with Sasuke, but I assure you he'll be fine. As for the scrolls, 'Heaven' refers to being of sound mind, like you are, Sakura. 'Earth' refers to being of sound resolve, like you are, Naruto. When heaven and earth are perfectly balanced, you will have achieved self-actualization. "

Then, Iruka left the genin to think about it.

Naruto and Sakura blushed as they looked back at each other.

"So, I'm heaven...", Sakura said.

"And I'm earth...", Naruto added.

They sheepishly looked at the ground for a few seconds, unsure of what to say next.

When their gazes met again, they smiled at each other. They knew exactly what to say, and they said it in perfect sync:

"I love you."

Next chapter is probably also gonna be short... Showing the other rookie 9 appear, and how the next 5 days are spent before the 3rd part of the chunin exams.
