This chapter was really hard for me to write because of how I had made the story of the incident, which is what chapter 11 was supposed to be, but I took that part out. I didn't know how to rewrite the incident without making Hiro look like an actual villain towards the end, so what I'll do instead is give a few scenes of it here and there until the story arc is over.

Chapter 12: The Talk

Hiro couldn't believe he was he doing this. He was going to talk to the general the day after he opened up to his friends about what happened to him in high school.

"Hiro! I was going to contact you, but it seems you contacted me first. Oh, you brought friends," General Williams spoke happily as he saw that Honey Lemon, Megan and Karmi were with him.

"Oh, I uh, I kind of need some help with something related to the incident," Hiro said nervously as Honey Lemon got a text on her phone.

Honey Lemon looked at the text and wondered why the others wanted her to keep the two talking as long as possible.

"Hi, I'm Honey Lemon!" she said cheerfully, so that she didn't draw attention to as what the text was.

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Honey Lemon. May I ask what you two ladies names are?" he said as he turned to Megan and Karmi.

"Oh, my name is Karmi," Karmi replied shyly.

"And my name is Megan. I was actually wondering what all you knew about the incident," Megan replied to the General.

"Oh, I'm afraid that that's confidential, as is everything about the incident. I'm not even sure how the press had found out about it in the first place," General Williams stated.

"Anyway, you know that USB drive that I had the virus on?" Hiro inputted as the general turned to him.

"Yeah, I do. If I remember correctly, your older brother Tadashi had taken the flash drive and put it somewhere. Why?" General Williams questioned.

"Because it may have gotten stolen yesterday," Hiro responded, trying to keep himself from running away because of the tense mood that conversation was giving off.

"It got stolen? How?" General Williams said in confusion, obviously not ready to have another incident like the last one.

"I don't know how they got word that I had the USB drive, or that I even had created it for that matter," Hiro replied, running his hand through his hair with frustration.

"Well we should get looking then, but I take it you didn't just come all the way here to the precinct just to talk to me about that, did you?" General Williams questioned.

"I also came here to apologize to Chief Cruz about something," Hiro stated, looking away from the general towards the door as the police chief entered the room.

"Hey Hiro, why weren't you at the ceremony yesterday? Where've you been? I've been worried about you," Chief Cruz questioned as he put a stack of papers down on the table.

"Sorry, I've had a bad experience with some things related to the ceremony."

"That's fine, just let me know in advance next time you don't to come to something similar, alright?" Chief Cruz said as he turned to Hiro.

"Alright."

Sorry, only one chapter today. Had set time to edit/write today's chapters but it got taken up by family that was visiting. Thankfully, I already had this ready to go!
