Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.
Let's start with the story, shall we?*
Chapter 13
It was gone.
Mizuki felt her blood run cold when she saw her missing designing book. She looked in her school backpack but there was no trace of it. She even checked her desk and locker. She couldn't find it at all.
She knew that she didn't take it out at home and that she made sure to leave it in her bag for encase an opportunity came for her to draw. She couldn't recall the last time she had it, frustration making her bite her bottom lip.
Katsuki would never take it. He wouldn't hide it either, especially since it would mean a full-blown fight and yelling. Not to mention, he was the one who bought it for her and she lost it. She always kept it close by her!
Great. With everything that went off I lost my book… This is just great. So much for trying to do something good. She thought bitterly and wanted to drown herself for being irresponsible and losing her book.
"Mizuki," she glanced up at the familiar gruffy voice. Her eyes landed on a familiar peach designing book handed towards her and her eyes met a pair of exhausted orbs. "Full Loader wanted me to give you back this. He said that he finished with all the adjustments."
"Thank you!" Mizuki said and grabbed the book with a relieved smile. Aizawa grunted and walked towards the front of the classroom, not sparing any comments. Mizuki touched the cover of the book in thought.
Thank goodness. I wouldn't know what I would do if I lost it. She thought, her shoulders relaxing and her eyes softening. It was more than another designing book. It was part of her first days at U.A. and had a piece of everyone inside.
She titled it to fit it back into her bag when a paper stuck out. She raised an eyebrow and opened up the book where the paper was situated. She folded it open and was greeted with a messy handwriting, the letter a bit crumbled. She glanced at the message, a smirk forming onto her lips.
Mizuki!
I'm almost finished with Baby no, 23. You can tell me what you think about it later on. I made sure to attach a few drawings too! I look forward to work with you again!
Mei Hatsume.
PS. I'll let you know as soon as the costume is finished!
Mizuki chuckled in amusement at the crazy pink haired female's message. She glanced at the roughly drawn images of the support item, looking it over and then closing the letter. She folded it carefully and left it inside her designing book.
She briefly wondered what would've happened if she applied to the support course and not the hero course. If she got into the support course, then she would've still been in U.A. despite not being in the hero course. Even so, Mizuki's knowledge was more in the clothing industry than developing of support items.
Mizuki thought of the pink haired girl, wondering what would've happened if they were in the same class. She had an idea that Mei could get a bit too much but she was creative, innovative and very passionate about her work. She had great traits besides getting into everyone's comfort zone.
Aizawa cleared his throat and drew everyone's attention. Mizuki raised an eyebrow in confusion. They had hero basic training with All Might now. Why was Aizawa standing in front of the class? Did she get her schedule wrong?
"For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might, me and one more person," Aizawa informed them and Mizuki grunted. That explained it. She wondered what they were going to do.
"Excuse me! What'll we be doing?"
RESCUE. Aizawa held out a card, much like All Might did the first time. "Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training," Aizawa said, Misuki briefly wondering where they pulled the cards from.
"Rescue… Looks like it'll be a lot of work this time too," Kaminari stated, his facial expression falling slightly. Rescue training… It was going to be an interesting class, that was for sure. Everyone's quirks were going to be put to the test.
A lot of the students had Quirks that were helpful in other situations other than combat. Mizuki knew that her brother and her Quirk was specifically for combat. That's why she needed to train herself to be limitless. She needed to be able to do anything in any situation.
"Idiot, this is the duty of a hero!" Eijiro scolded the blonde male and grinned with confidence. "My arms are ready to rumble!" He added, making fists and bringing his arms up. Mizuki admired his excitement, his bright smile making a warm feeling reside within her chest.
"No one can beat me in water, ribbit," Tsuyu stated, knowing that her frog like abilities would help her greatly. Those who had quirks especially for rescue could perform great while the others who was good with combat would have to find another way to help.
"Hey, I'm not done. You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time. Because there are probably costumes that limit your abilities too. The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That's all. Start getting ready," Aizawa said and walked off.
Mizuki hummed as she stood up, taking her suitcase to go change. She would see where she would need possible modifications in this training. Though, she highly doubted that her costume could restrict her.
She had told Aizawa that her costume was perfect, though she had aa feeling that she would make adjustments later on. She designed the costume without taking her white explosion into consideration. After all, it would be too dangerous to use it.
She didn't want her doctor to scold her again and the fear of having her own cells incinerated was enough to keep her under control. She managed well in her fight against Shoto and the only ways he could keep herself from tearing her muscle fibres was to train.
"I'm excited for this rescue training! We're also going on a bit of a road trip, even if it's still on campus," Ochaco stated as Mizuki closed her case and put it away. She then caught sight of the brunette, the female leaving her helmet behind.
"Yeah, me too. I wonder why we have three teachers and who the last one is," Jiro murmured in thought, tapping her chin in thought. Mizuki made the final adjustments to her costume and then headed out.
"Don't take too long with getting dressed. We're leaving as soon as everyone's ready," Mizuki told them and exited the room. She stretched a bit, the body suit falling into place as she did so, and then smirked.
She caught sight of a familiar green haired male as he walked out, his eyes glancing up to meet hers. "Mi-chan! I see you're already dressed and ready for this," he said with a grin and Mizuki chuckled with a nod.
"Yeah, of course I am. I see you're wearing your P.E. clothing. I take it your costume is still being repaired?" She pointed out and he nodded. She didn't add anything else, wanting to surprise him with his new costume.
"I'm waiting for the support company to fix it up for me so for now I'm going with this," he replied as he walked next to her. "Which reminds me! Your costume looks really cool, Mi-chan! You really went full out with planning."
Mizuki scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Naturally. I even had some input with Katsuki's costume. I can't have him looking like an idiot on the job, though, he was the brain behind most of it," Mizuki said and he smiled in thought.
"Izu-kun." He saw Mizuki's expression become serious. "Be careful with your Quirk. If you put too much strain on your muscle fibres then you won't be able to give your best performance. Also, don't break anything in this session. If I see broken bones and bruises, I'm gonna kick your ass," she warned and he laughed lightly.
"I-I'll try…but it shouldn't be a problem since we're doing rescue training!" He said and Mizuki grunted in reply. There shouldn't be any over the top fighting like the previous day. Yet, she wanted to tell him just in case.
"It took you long enough!" Katsuki called out as they walked out of the building. "If you're done flirting with Deku, we have somewhere to be." Izuku yelped and stuttered a bunch of phrases, his face red while Mizuki rolled her eyes.
"No need to be jealous, Explodo-kill. We're still waiting for a few of the girls to finish up anyway," Mizuki said and gave him a smug smirk. "Besides, I give all my boys enough attention." She winked at him and made him scowl at her. She laughed and waved her brother off.
"Mizuki-kun!" Iida came rushing towards her and Mizuki's face became impassive. "What is your strategy behind the seating process for the bus? There are seats at the back and in the front on the sides," he informed her and she shrugged.
"Those who are already here can move in so long. First come, first serve. The others can sit where there are open spaces. No need to overthink it," Mizuki saw his mouth open and close, the male's head short circuiting. He hadn't thought of the simplest thing?
"You can call them in if you want to?" Mizuki suggested and watched as his face lit up. He shouted something very loudly and a bit incoherent. She made out that he said 'It would be my honour' before rushing off, pulling out a whistle from who knows where.
She sighed and ruffled her own hair. This entire year was going to be exhausting. Not because she was the class representative and because of the responsibilities that lied ahead. It was going to be exhausting to work beside Iida.
When everyone was finally seated within the bus, they rode off. Mizuki sat next to her brother by the window. She stared outside, her eyes taking in the terrain of the High School. It was calming and breath-taking.
She really was lucky to have made it into such a prestigious school. She had a powerful Quirk and her grades were top notch. It was the perfect combination to get her in. Yet, a piece of her wanted to share this beauty with Rinako and Akira.
"I say anything that comes to mind," Tsuyu said and Mizuki lazily glanced at the female. "Your Quirk is a lot like All Might's." Her words made Mizuki's brows twitch and something tugged in the back of her head. What? She didn't know.
"Wait a sec, Tsu-chan, All Might doesn't get hurt when he uses his. They just kind of look the same," Eijiro argued. "But it's nice to have a simple augmenting type Quirk. You can do lots of flashy stuff! My hardening's strong against others, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like much."
Mizuki scoffed, keeping her words to herself as Izuku fanned over the male's quirk. Eijiro was pretty flashy at the entrance exam. He practically broke through the robots without breaking a sweat. If that wasn't flashy, then she didn't know what was.
"You have to think about popularity as a hero too, you know? Well, if you're talking about flashy and strong, it's gotta be Todoroki, Bakugou and Mizuki," Eijiro stated, the twins glancing at him and Katsuki scoffed.
"Bakugou's always mad, so he doesn't seem like he'll be popular," Tsuyu deadpanned and caused the male to jump up in anger at the statement. Mizuki stifled a laugh and held her hand in front of her mouth.
"We haven't known each other that long, so it's amazing that everyone already knows his personality is crap steeped in sewage," Kaminari stated cockily and Mizuki's eyes narrowed at the male.
"What's with that vocabulary, bastard?! I'll kill you!"
"Calm down, Katsuki," Mizuki calmly stated and her brother snapped around, glaring at her. He watched as she grinned darkly, sparks appearing in her hand palm. "This is rescue training, right? But sometimes there's a poor unfortunate soul who can't be saved…" She looked straight at Kaminari, the male becoming white in fear. Mizuki chuckled sinisterly and relaxed back in her chair.
"We're here. Stop messing around," Aizawa, who stood at the front of the bus, ordered and everyone shut up. Mizuki peeked out the window and tapped her brother with her elbow as she pointed at the large building coming into view.
He grinned arrogantly. "I'm going to kick your ass in this. You're going to have someone save you afterwards," he told her and Mizuki raised an eyebrow, her own smirk widening into a grin as she felt excitement boil up in her sister.
"Trash talk, Brother."
He glowered at her, his grin not fading away. They could feel each other's raging need to get to work and it motivated them. This was the first training session where neither of them was distracted by anything else, except by being the best.
"Everyone, I have been waiting for you," a voice spoke up and Mizuki took in the hero standing at the entrance of the large building. The space hero, Thirteen. She was one of the heroes known for rescuing tons of people from disasters.
Hero name: Thirteen
Quirk: Black Hole
Thirteen's costume consisted of a white space suit designed using a puffy jacket instead of an actual suit, a black helmet with white eyes and a pair of yellow boots. Mizuki raised an eyebrow at the colourful boots and it briefly reminded her of Aizawa's yellow goggles.
Was it that popular?
Izuku practically fainted seeing the hero and Ochaco joined in, the hero being her role model. Mizuki chuckled at their excitement and rested her hand on her hip. It seemed like they were going to learn a lot from this pro hero.
"Let's go inside without delay. I look forward to working with you!" Thirteen said and gestured for everyone to follow her inside the building. As soon as they entered, everyone's eyes widened in wonder.
"Now this, is insanely cool," Mizuki murmured and Eijiro exclaimed next to her in agreement. The entire place inside resembled a Universal Studios Japan. It consisted of a shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm and more.
"This is a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters. It's called the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint', or USJ for short," Thirteen said as everyone looked around, taking in their environment.
Mizuki heard Aizawa talk to Thirteen about All Might. The scruffy male sighed and had her conclude that he wasn't going to join them. The reason, however, she didn't know. She assumed that he was occupied with hero work and shrugged it off.
"Let's see… Before we begin, let me say one thing… er… or two, or three…or four…five…six…seven…" Thirteen rambled on as she counted everything, she wanted to tell them. It increased, making Mizuki want to groan.
"Everyone, I'm sure you are aware of my Quirk, Black Hole. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust," Thirteen stated and Mizuki nodded. Izuku had briefed her enough about all the heroes that she recalled the familiar power that was used to save people from all kinds of disasters.
"However, it's a power that can kill easily. Some of you have Quirks like that, right?" Mizuki frowned, clenching her fist by her side. "In a superhuman society, personal Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance," Thirteen continued.
"Nevertheless, please don't forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step. With Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out about the possibility of your hidden powers. With All Might's person-to-person combat training, you experienced the danger of using those powers against others," she said.
"This class is a first started. You'll learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You don't have powers so you can harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have powers in order to help others. That's all. Thank you for listening," she concluded and Mizuki smirked.
"That was wonderful! Bravo! Bravo!"
It was a truly inspirational speech. Mizuki glanced down at her hands. She recalled the piercing explosions she had used on the villain and on the entrance exam robot. That type of power would easily kill someone.
The same went for Katsuki's gauntlet explosions. If he hit someone directly, especially with close proximity, it could kill someone. She saw him glance at her, following her trail of thought and smirked. She playfully rolled her eyes at her brother, knowing his ego had been inflated.
"Alright then, first-" Aizawa cut himself off and Mizuki gave him a blank expression. The lights sparked off, the fountain's water switching on and off. She felt it. Something dark and dangerous seeped into the air and she felt a shiver run down her spine, her instincts yelling at her.
"Mizuki." Katsuki's voice was low and alert, his eyes glancing at his sister. She nodded, her eyes snapping around as a trail of sweat fell down the side of her face. She made contact with a strange purple mist at the bottom by the fountain. What emerged, made her body freeze.
"Don't tell me… This isn't part of the training session, is it?"
"Gather together and don't move! Thirteen, protect the students!" Aizawa shouted at them and Mizuki bit down hard on her teeth. By the panicked expression Aizawa had, the person who rarely showed any emotion, she knew they were in trouble.
"What's that? Is this like the entrance exam where the lessons already started?"
"No, everyone, stand still!" Mizuki called out, her hand shooting out to keep everyone from moving. Their eyes widened when they saw her serious facial expression. Their faces filled with panic when they realized it wasn't part of the class.
Mizuki glanced at Aizawa, the male putting on his yellow goggles. Aizawa activated his quirk, his hair floating up and his capturing cloths spiralling around him. If they hadn't been in mortal danger, she would've wanted to draw the male and his badass appearance.
"Those are villains." Everyone's eyes widened in fear, Mizuki and Katsuki smirking out of their own uneasiness. "The trespassing the other day was the work of these scumbags after all, huh?" Aizawa murmured, Mizuki clenching her fists by her sides.
It wasn't the press? Mizuki thought and frowned deeply. No, the press wouldn't be able to get in meaning that the Villains had made an opening for the press and used them as a smokescreen to infiltrate. Fantastic.
The villains poured in front what seemed to be a vortex created for them. The villains were all different types with different Quirks. There were, however, three villains standing by the fountain, not moving but the one was the vortex male. They were different from the rest.
"What? Villains? There's no way they could get into a hero school!" Eijiro said, his own panicked feelings rushing through him. Mizuki was in the same state. Knowing that it wasn't supposed to be possible.
"Sensei, what about the trespasses sensors?" Momo asked and Thriteen glanced around. She informed them that they did have them, but it seemed like they didn't work because the sensors were situated on the outside of the buildings. They managed to bypass it by using a warp.
"Did they only appear here, or around the whole school? Either way, if the sensors are not responding, that means they have someone with a Quirk that can do that. An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here," Shoto said.
"They might be fools, but they're not dumb. This surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind." His words made Mizuki's mind come to a halt. What could they possibly hope to achieve by coming to attack inside a hero school?
"Thirteen, start the evacuation. Try calling the school. These villains even had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering. Kaminari try contacting the school with your Quirk, too," Aizawa ordered.
"What about you, Sir? Will you fight by yourself? With that many, even if you can erase their Quirks… Eraser Head's fighting style is capturing after erasing the enemy's Quirk. A frontal battle is…" Izuku trailed off, everyone's eyes widening.
"You can't be a hero with just one trick." His words had Mizuki stare at him in absolute amazement and wonder. "I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen," he said and then leaped, grapping his cloths in his hands.
His words ran in her ears and she found that she admired what he had said. That was what she was looking for. She wanted to be limitless. She needed to be the one hero who could do anything in any situation.
Mizuki watched as he easily caught three villains simultaneously, hit them together and put them out of commission. He was then attacked by villains with quirks that he couldn't erasee and easily won the fight.
He was amazing.
Mizuki briefly closed her eyes and then looked at the others. "Let's go, everyone! We need to get out of here!" She yelled and everyone started to run towards the exit. She caught sight of Izuku still looking at Aizawa and grabbed his collar.
"You too! We don't have time for you to analyse his fighting style!" Mizuki told the male as he yelped in his grip. She let him go and he ran beside her. She glanced back, assuring everyone was running towards the exit and then grunted.
If they could only-
"I won't let you." A deep voice spoke up and everyone came to a halt as the warping villain appeared in front of them. "Nice to meet you. We are the League of Villains." It was not nice to meet them.
"It may be presumptuous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of the heroes, U.A. High School, in order to have All Might, the Symbol of Peace, take his last breath. I believe All Might should've been here, has there been some kind of change?" He asked and Mizuki growled.
How did they know that All Might was supposed to be in this class? Moreover, they had balls if they thought they could have him take his final breath. Something wasn't right. Could it be that someone informed them? That would mean there was a snitch… She hoped she was wrong.
She smirked as she felt her brother's impatience at the villain that stood before them. He wasn't going to wait for the male to finish his speech and neither was she. They needed to evacuate and he was in their way.
"Well, that is neither here nor there. This is the part I am to play-"
"Hey, scum villain! You're in the way!" Mizuki yelled, jumping towards the male, her brother and Eijiro by her side. Eijiro went for a strike while the twins pulled their hands back, letting loose a giant explosion. Katsuki landed between Mizuki and Eijiro after the onslaught against the Villain.
"Did you consider that you'd get beaten by us before you did it?" Eijiro stated with a confident grin, Mizuki scanning the smoke. There was a faint movement and she clicked her tongue, balling her fists when her arms started to quiver.
"Oh dear, that's dangerous," the dark voice spoke once more and reformed, his body more visible with a metal brace around his neck area. "That's right. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs." Thirteen yelled out something, his words falling on deaf ears.
"My job is to scatter you all and torture you to death!" He yelled and shot his mist towards them. Katsuki's eyes widened and before Mizuki knew what was going on, he shoved her hard, pushing her outside of the mist.
Mizuki coughed as she landed harshly against the railing on the side and winced in pain. She glanced up into the mist, red eyes widening in panic. "KATSUKI!" She called out, reaching towards the mist until it was gone, her brother and most of the other students taking them with it.
"You son of a bitch… WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!" Mizuki yelled, her anger causing her body to heat up and steam emerging. She was going to kill this bastard as painfully as possible for ever laying hands on her brother.
"Mizuki, don't worry! Everyone's scattered but they're all in this building," Shoji stated and Mizuki's eyes snapped towards him. A deep frown came onto her lips. They had Thirteen still here with Iida, Shoji, Ochaco, Sero, Mina and Sato. The others were all missing.
"Damn it, physical attacks can't hit him and he can warp things. His Quirk is the worst!" Sero pointed out and Mizuki's eyes narrowed. Then why did he stay clear of her and her brother's explosion? Was there a part of him that was vital?
That was it. What if his Quirk hid his true body? That meant that as soon as they let off their explosions, he covered his body in the mist but not enough because his neck brace showed. He had a weakness.
Hanta Sero
Age: 15
Quirk: Tape
"Class Rep." Mizuki glanced at Thirteen. "I entrust this duty to you. Run to the school and tell them about what's happening here," her eyes briefly widened at the hero's words. Her brows furrowed, her frown deepening.
"The alarms aren't sounding and our phones don't have signal. The alarm system is based on infrared rays. Even though Eraser Head is erasing people's Quirks left and right, they're still not working which means they must have someone with an interference Quirk who hid right when they arrived. It would be faster for you to get someone than for us to find that person," Thirteen said.
"I won't be able to be fast enough, but… I know who can be." Mizuki turned towards Iida, his eyes widening. "Deputy Class Rep, I'm going to have to count on you for this one. You're the fastest of us. You need to get a teacher," she said.
"Yeah, and there are sensors outside. As long as you go outside with the sensors, they won't follow you," Sato spoke up as the men went to stand beside Mizuki, taking a stance. Mizuki gave them a grateful look and then looked back at Iida who was hesitating.
Rikido Sato
Age: 15
Quirk: Sugar Rush
"I know you don't want to leave any of us behind, but this will help us all. There's no guarantee that with you here we'll be alright. I'd rather want a concrete plan. Don't worry." She grinned darkly at the villain. "We'll blow him away to give you an opening. You better be ready."
Iida stared at Mizuki and saw the small trail of sweat that cascaded down the side of her face. She was staying strong and confident, giving everyone else a sense of reassurance. If he could do one thing to help them out of this situation, he would do it.
"I understand!"
"Use your quirk to help others!" Thirteen added. The others all stood ready. Ochaco by Iida's side as she prepared to use her Quirk. The male took a stance, his engines putting out as he prepared to blast himself off. Mizuki pulled off one of her grenades and then tossed it to Shoji.
"Throw it as soon as I give the signal," she whispered towards him as he caught it. He nodded and hit it in one of his hands. It was one of her stun grenades that he had personal experience with from the previous day.
"Even if you have no other choice, are there really idiots who talk about their plan in front of the enemy?!" The villain yelled out and shot his Quirk straight towards them, Thirteen not moving an inch.
"We did it because it doesn't matter if we're found out! Black Hole!" Thirteen shot her finger towards the male as she activated her quirk. Mizuki gave Iida the queue and he burst off, running at full speed and his engines shifting for more speed.
"Black Hole, which sucks up everything and turns it all to dust. I see. That's an astounding Quirk. However, Thirteen, you're a hero who works to rescue people from disasters. Your battle experience is less than half of that of a normal hero," the villain spoke and Mizuki saw shifting in his mist.
"Now! Everyone, cover your eyes!" Shoji pulled out the pin of the grenade and threw it straight towards the villain. "Thirteen Sensei! Deactivate your Quirk!" Mizuki yelled and the hero closed off black hole, the grenade going off.
The brightness of the grenade had everyone flinching despite closing their eyes and the villain had to briefly stop with activating his Quirk. "A flash grenade? When did you…?" He opened his eyes, Mizuki smirking as she floated in front of him.
"Thirteen Sensei may not have a lot of battle experience but you keep forgetting there are potential heroes here, Asshole. And I have a lot of schemes up my sleeve!" Mizuki brought her hands together, sparks flashing in front of the villain's face.
"Release!"
As soon as Ochaco deactivated her Quirk, Mizuki let out a large explosion that pushed the villain back. She smirked, Sero's tape wrapping around her as he pulled her backwards. Mizuki managed to see Iida near the door, his legs carrying him quickly.
"Your attacks aren't going to work against me. I won't let him get outside either!" The villain said as he chased Iida and Mizuki smirked. Ochaco was thrown with Sero's tape by Sato and flew through the air.
She brought her hands together and deactivated her Quirk, her hands clasping the metal brace the villain wore. "I don't know the theory behind it, but if he's wearing something like this, then it just means he has a physical body… Go, Iida-kun!" Uraraka threw the villain into the air.
Iida glanced back at the group and gave them an appreciating look. He arrived at the door, the large metal object blocking his path. He let out a cry as he tried to pry the door open with all his might, Mizuki seeing the villain advance again.
"Black Hole!" Thirteen cried out and the ash blonde looked back at her teacher as he pulled the male back towards him once again. It was the perfect distraction to spare Iida enough time to pry the door open and he ran out.
"Nice, Sensei!" Sero called out and the rescue hero deactivated his quirk, the warping male failing his mission. They couldn't go outside and with Iida's speed it would only be a matter of time before the heroes were alerted.
Mizuki let out a breath and glanced backwards to see how Eraserhead was doing, the sound of fighting behind them dying down. Her eyes widened in horror. He lay on the ground, his goggles torn off and a large blue creature slamming his arm into the ground.
In front of him stood one of the villains, hands attached all over his body as he looked down at Aizawa. Most of the other villains were all scattered and defeated, all but the last two who was ganging on Aizawa.
"No… Shit...! Shit!" Mizuki cursed and looked back at the villain in front of them, then back at Aizawa. She didn't know what to do. If she left the others and helped Aizawa, they would be in danger. Yet, he needed help!
She felt the same as the day she saw Katsuki caught by the sludge villain. The heroes stood there as helplessly as she was. She decided that she would be the hero that wouldn't be held back by limitations.
She could feel the bitter taste in her mouth as she thought about Iida going to fetch help. By the time they came here, it would be too late for Aizawa. She promised that she wouldn't let anything stop her. She was not breaking any promises!
"Thirteen Sensei! Be careful for his warp! He'll use his warp against your black hole and cause serious damage! The rest of you! Support Thirteen Sensei to the best!" Mizuki yelled out towards them and they all looked back at her.
"Huh? Wait, Mizuki-san! You can't go down there-"
"I'm confident that you can handle this guy on your own. Thirteen Sensei said it, right? We have to use our Quirks to help others and I'm sure as hell not leaving the man who's saving our skins alone!" Mizuki shouted out, their eyes widening at her words.
Mizuki brought her hands behind her and exhaled as her body heat up, her backside steaming. She let out a cry as her entire backside, hands and feet exploded and propelled her straight towards where her teacher was laying.
"…You don't have powers so you can harm others…"
She knew that and yet, she was angry beyond belief. They were hurting them without even caring. They were letting fear and panic creep into their hearts. Heroes don't hurt people. Villains do. But Villains deserved getting hurt in return.
"Get away from my teacher!" Mizuki cried out as she let out another explosion. Aizawa's eyes slowly opened to see Mizuki appear above him, her blurry figure coming into view. The one villain gasped at the female's sudden appearance, the other merely staring at her.
Mizuki gritted her teeth as she held out arm out towards the creature-like villain and pulled out the pin of her grenade support item wrapped around her wrist. "Burn, you bastard!" Mizuki let loose a large-scale explosion, the repercussion on her shoulder making her hiss lightly.
Mizuki spun around in the air, using another explosion from her hand palm and then kicked the other villain straight in the face, letting loose an explosion upon contact. Both of the villains were sent backwards from the force of her Quirk, a smokescreen hiding them.
"Mizuki… W-What are you doing?! Get out of here!" Aizawa yelled at his student, the female standing in front of him. He couldn't believe that Thirteen let her go. Moreover, he couldn't believe that she was putting her own life in danger.
"Like hell! I'm not leaving here without you!" Mizuki said as she turned back towards him, crouching down and slinging his arms over her shoulder. Her eyes widened when she noticed his injured elbow. It looked like the skin cracked and fell off, bruises on his other arm from the rough handling.
"You can't-Watch out!" Mizuki cursed and used her explosions to jump off when the blue skinned creature slammed its fist down, the concrete floor crushed beneath the hit. She landed, the male's body weight briefly making her movement difficult.
If that hit me, I would've been dead.
"Mizuki, listen to me. Get out of here. These are real villains. Thirteen will protect you but I can't guarantee the same," Aizawa begged her with his tired and drained eyes. Mizuki's grip on him tightened and her brows furrowed.
"Iida's on his way to get help. It shouldn't be long until we get back up." His eyes widened. "Until they're here, I'm not going anywhere. Besides, I have a feeling that even if I wanted to run away, it's too late," she stated with a nervous chuckle as she looked up at the two villains.
"Hey, hey, hey, you could've seriously hurt someone. Shouldn't U.A. teach their students that they should use their powers for good? It looks like the standard of the school has fallen," the male with the hands attached to his body said, one hand covering his face and hiding his expression.
He was a slim male with deathly pale skin, tinged yellow and wrinkled a great deal around his eyes. He had messy greyish-blue hair of varying lengths, the uneven waves hanging over a part of his face. Yet, the one thing that made her swallow thickly was his red, beady eyes.
Mizuki smirked, forcing her body not to tremble. "Too bad it didn't do the trick," Mizuki snapped back at the male and chuckled dryly. "Don't go dissing our school when your own standards suck. You basically only have three of your men over. Looks like an epic fail to me."
The hand male laughed and then went to rub his neck, his nails digging into his skin, making Mizuki resist a flinch. "You have quite the mouth on you. I wonder how long you'll be able to stay alive with that arrogance," he threatened and had both Mizuki and Aizawa go on alert.
There was shifting next to the hand male and Mizuki growled at the back of her throat when she saw the purple warping persona appear. He called the hands male by his name attracting his attention briefly.
Tomura Shigaraki
Age: 20
Quirk: Decay
"Kurogiri, did you kill Thirteen?" The male asked while Mizuki looked around. The blue skinned creature wasn't moving and the other two were occupied. Aizawa needed her support to stand up straight, his body heavier than she bargained for. If only she was as strong as her brother.
Kurogiri
Quirk: Warp Gate
"No, there was a hindrance in the plan and there are students I was unable to disperse. One of them was able to run away," Kurogiri replied. Mizuki felt her brother through their connection and took a calming breath.
Think, Mizuki. Think. There's no way you can go up against three villains. I can't possibly make any damage on the strange looking one without using piercing. The other one I should be able to take but not with the warp guy present. Mizuki thought and glanced at Aizawa.
No, she couldn't fight. If she fought, she would leave Aizawa open for them to take. She couldn't put his life in any more danger. She came here to save him. She wasn't going to leave him to fend for himself in this state. They needed an escape.
"Ah, man. We can't win against dozens of pros. Let's go home," Shigaraki said and Mizuki's eyes narrowed. Yeah, right. Like hell they were retreating. They wanted to take out All Might. There was no way they would retreat just because a few heroes were on their way.
The question was, why were they this confident about killing the number one hero? Did they know about something? Mizuki looked at the creature. Was this their trump card? An insane strong creature without any humane appearance?
"Oh yeah, before we leave…let's smash some of his pride as the Symbol of Peace!" Shigaraki yelled out and in a flash, appeared in front of Mizuki, her eyes widening along with Aizawa. She felt her body heat up and threw off Aizawa who stared at Shigaraki, activating his Quirk to stop the male.
"Self Destruct!" Mizuki exclaimed as her body exploded in a flash, the speed because of her instincts yelling at her. His hand. The hand that held his Quirk nearly touched her face. She had nearly died. She could feel adrenaline pumping through her system as she breathed heavy.
Steam came from her body, Aizawa caught off guard by her sudden move. She exploded just enough to get the villain away from her and pushed him aside far enough to not damage him with her explosion.
Shigaraki dug his feet into the ground as he tried to stop his momentum. "Tch, this one's a nuisance. It looks like you had a pain slip past you, Kurogiri. She can use explosions all over her body," Shigaraki said and let his head cock to the side.
"Nomu…" He spoke up and the creature responded. "Kill her."
