Espio the Chameleon was at the Chaotix Detective Agency's home, standing in the kitchen and preparing a Christmas dinner for two people. Vector and Charmy were both off doing their own thing for Christmas, and when Nicole offered to spend Christmas with him, the chameleon accepted, because it was better than celebrating Christmas alone.
As Espio was busy in the kitchen, Nicole the Holo-Lynx proceeded to teleport herself into the kitchen, appearing right next to Espio. "Hello, Espio." Nicole told the purple chameleon with a smile.
Espio turned to look at Nicole, and gave her a smile as he was cooking. "Hello, Nicole. Thanks for spending Christmas with me. It's better than celebrating Christmas alone." He told the Holo-Lynx.
Nicole smiled and nodded. "Anytime, Espio. After I heard that Vector and Charmy were both going to be away from home to do their own thing for Christmas, I just couldn't leave you all by yourself." She told the purple chameleon in response.
Espio smiled and nodded back. "Yes...And I really appreciate it..." He replied as he continued cooking.
"Mind if I help you cooking? It'll be sure to get the Christmas dinner out on the table sooner!" Nicole instantly offered.
"Sure. The more hands, the merrier." Espio nodded.
"Okay, great!" Nicole beamed before she materialized an apron onto her body with her Nanites and grabbed some kitchen utensils to help Espio with cooking. Not too long after that, the two were able to get the Christmas dinner out on the dinner table, and the two sat at the dinner table as they ate their food.
"You're a pretty good cook, Nicole. My compliments." Espio said with a smile as he ate his food.
"Anytime, Espio. Sally and I regularly cook together back at Freedom Fighter HQ, so I've gotten the hang of it." Nicole replied with a smile as she also ate her food. "Not to mention, your cooking is pretty good as well." She added.
Espio laughed a little bit. "Thanks, I do my best in the kitchen, even though I'm not the best at it. Vector and Charmy are often too lazy to do any cooking, and they usually order takeout food or pizza. That's why I often cook for them because it's not healthy to eat takeout food or pizza every night." He told Nicole with a shake of his head.
Nicole couldn't help but giggle a little bit at that. "Vector and Charmy are real easy boys sometimes, are they?" The Holo-Lynx asked with a smile.
Espio nodded in response. "That they are, that they are..." He replied as he continued to eat, with Nicole doing the same thing.
Later, once dinner was finished, Espio and Nicole sat on the couch in front of the tv, watching a Christmas movie together. "What a fun movie, right, Espio?" Nicole asked the purple chameleon with a smile.
"Yes, it is...I don't watch movies that often, but when I do, those movies tend to be really good." Espio nodded in agreement. The two then proceeded to notice a mistletoe hanging above the couch, and they blushed. "Shoot...I keep forgetting that Vector and Charmy hung a mistletoe above the couch as part of the Christmas decoration...
"Well, should we do it then?" Nicole asked with a blush and a smile.
"Might as well, since it's a tradition." Espio blushed and smiled back before the chameleon and Holo-Lynx proceeded to kiss each other on the lips, snuggling close to each other as they did so. This kiss lasted for a full minute before they both pulled away.
"That was great...You're a great kisser..." Nicole told Espio with a blush and a smile.
"I never even kissed a girl before, let alone a Holo-Mobian..." Espio replied with a blush as Nicole couldn't help but giggle. "We should do that again sometime...I really enjoyed that kiss..." Espio then said as Nicole nodded and the two of them continued to watch the movie.
Later on, Espio and Nicole had finished watching the movie. "Well, that was a fun movie. Espio, you mind if I stay over for the night and sleep in your bed tonight?" Nicole asked Espio with a smile.
Espio smiled back. "Sure, Nicole." He replied. Sometime later, Espio was lying in bed with Nicole, as both of them were asleep and Nicole snuggled up to Espio as they slept.
Meanwhile, Vector was over at Cream the Rabbit's house together with Charmy. "I feel sorry for Espio being stuck all by himself..." Vector sighed.
"Yeah, he's probably bored out of his mind..." Charmy added.
