Chapter 13:
This place is really neat and all but...I miss Nuka. Maybe I should try and find him.
Vitani's thoughts were racing, when she felt a paw on her.
"You okay?" the leopon asked.
Looking at him, she noticed a white flower with a clear ooze coming out right beside him. When did he get that? I must've really zoned out.
"What's that flower?" she asked. "I don't think I've seen that before."
"Huh?"
He realized that the flower was in plain sight, and mentally cursed.
"Oh uh-"
He pushed it out of her line of vision, before looking back at her.
"That's uh...well, you wouldn't understand," he finally answered.
Vitani frowned in confusion, but pushed the thought aside.
"Anyway..." he looked into her eyes. "Are you okay?"
He moved his paw down her back.
A little too low.
Squirming uncomfortably, she got his paw off. "Um...you're nice and all, but I think I should return to my brother."
She got up and padded forward, only for the leopon to jump in front of her way again. She tried to go the other way, but the same outcome occurred. She looked up in confusion at the amusement on the leopon's face. "What's the rush?"
Before she could answer, he stroked her chin with the tip of his tail in a seductive manner. Vitani didn't know what it was, but something felt wrong about it. This...
This made her feel uncomfortable.
"W-What are you doing?" she tried her best to keep up a brave front.
The leopon didn't answer. Instead, he began to circle her in a creepy manner. Vitani's stomach began to swirl, and she swore she was gonna be sick right then and there.
"I think you can be put to good use," he answer with that same creepy tone.
Vitani got a horrible feeling, and turned to run. But, to her oh-so-amazing luck, the leopon pounced on her. "You're just gonna make this more difficult."
Squirming in his grasp, she tried to escape. "Leave me alone, I said we'll leave!" she cried.
The leopon only laughed. "Oh trust me, you're not leaving yet."
Fear turning into anger, she tried to claw at the leopon. To her luck, one of her claws got him in the eye, blinding him for a moment. "You little bitch, you're gonna pay for that!"
Getting a good grip on her, he clawed at her, ignoring her cries of pain while placing hits on different parts of her body. Every part of her body hurt, and she could've sworn she was gonna die right then and there. He picked her up and tossed her a foot away from the cave before chuckling at her. Slowly, he walked over to her, that same horrid expression on his face.
"Should've just listened and stayed still," he whispered.
***This is what I was referring to in the beginning; graphic r*pe scene. You've been warned, so I don't wanna hear anyone bitching in the comments when I've now given you TWO warnings***
Roughly turning her over, he stared down at her. She looked back up into his horrible gray eyes.
"W-What are y-you g-gonna do t-to m-me?" she stuttered out.
He dropped her back onto her stomach, earning a wince from her. Not acknowledging her question, he mounted her, forcefully moving her tail up out of the way. Vitani laid under his paws, too frozen to try and get out; her mind began to dissociate from reality, leaving her in a woozy state.
Everything felt like it was going in slow motion, and she didn't know how to make it stop. Not even a moment later, she felt licking on her lower area.
This felt wrong, and Vitani knew it.
"P-Please, stop. I said we'd go," she pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
The licking stopped, and for a brief moment Vitani felt relief. But that relief was short-lived, when she felt a horrible pain in her nether regions.
The leopon had thrusted into her, over and over again. And again, until he felt thick liquid on his manhood.
"STOP IT, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" she cried out, but her cries fell on deaf ears.
Ignoring her cries and pleas to stop, he dug his claws into her side. All she could do was scream and cry as her innocence was brutally stolen from her. The burning feeling of it withering away coursed through her whole body, and no amount of adrenaline was blocking out the pain.
"S-Stop...please..." she couldn't hold on any longer.
Nuka, I'm sorry. Please, I need you!
Fading into unconsciousness, she let her face hit the ground.
***You're safe now***
The deed had now been done. Realizing that she was barely conscious, he grabbed the white flower(1). Opening it he began to smear the clear sap that was oozing out onto her hind legs.
Let's see who's gonna believe you now, cubby.
So intent on getting rid of the evidence, he didn't catch sight of the witness that was staring in utter disturbance.
Nuka was pacing back and forth, something that oh-so-obviously ran in the family.
What would she know? Dad always gushes about her and Kovu. I never got a passing glance from him, and here she is, complaining...
He flopped to the ground in defeat. He knew he'd hurt Vitani's feelings, and the guilt was slowly getting to him.
"I know. I'll go find her, apologize, and we'll be all good again," he spoke to himself.
Getting up to try and find his sister's scent, a voice paused his mission.
"Hey, lion, whatcha doing in out territory?"
He turned to see a lion...with spots. With a smug expression, the animal began to speak.
"Don't you know it's rude to stare?" he mocked.
"Uh...what are you?" he asked, not fazed by his cocky look.
"A leopon. half leopard, half lion," he answered matter-of-factly.
Nuka continued to look up and down. The leopon was starting to grow annoyed by this.
"Yo, you gonna keep looking at me?" the leopon asked.
Nuka rose his eyebrow. Who did he think he was? Before he could ask him, however, the leopon repeated his original question. "Whatcha doing in our territory?"
He looked the leopon dead in the eye. "My sister and I are rogues," he half-lied, "we didn't know this was your territory. I'll find her, and we'll leave."
He turned to where his sister headed off, but the leopon blocked his path.
"Hey, what's your deal, man?" Nuka asked, growing frustrated.
The leopon chuckled. "You think you can just come into our territory, act smart, and then try to walk away?"
Nuka bared his teeth, until he realized something: our.
"What do you mean 'our'? Who else is here?" Nuka asked, suspicion growing within.
He gave a wide menacing smile, and crawled towards Nuka. "You know, too bad that little lioness will have to fend for herself."
Said confusion turned into fear, and the reality settled in. "No...Vitani!"
He turned and the leopon took the opportunity to pounce on the distracted lion. They rolled around and wrestled, teeth bared and claws unsheathed. He wasn't going to deny it: this leopon was strong.
"You made a huge mistake messin' with me!" Nuka cried, determined.
Using his hind legs to knock the leopon off, he got on all fours, snarling at him. They circled each other, trying to find the other one's weak spot. Nuka spotted an opening, and swiped a paw down his eye.
"Bastard!" the leopon cried, lunging at Nuka. After a long wrestle, with occasional bites and scratches, a beaten and worn out Nuka managed to pin him down.
"Had enough?" he darkly asked.
The leopon smirked. "Not until I get into your sister too."
Nuka began to see red. With one quick motion, he swiped his claw onto the leopon's throat, slowly shortening, and eventually ended his breath. Climbing off him, he stared at his dead body, only feeling a hint of remorse. The feeling was soon replaced with confusion, as he remembered the leopon's last words:
"Not until I get into your sister too."
What could he have possibly meant by that? And "too"? Who else was there?
Before he could think up any other theories or questions, a shriek of pain sounded through the air.
He'd recognize that scream anywhere.
"VITANI!"
It was now later in the afternoon, and the sun had set a bit. Zazu still hadn't returned, and even Mufasa was starting to have his doubts.
"Scar, you need to calm down," he softly, but firmly stated.
The black maned lion, who had been pacing back and forth, stopped in his tracks and turned to the king. "Calm down? And just how do you expect me to 'calm down' when my kids are out who knows where!"
Mufasa, not at all taken aback by the response, made his way over to him. "Scar..."
He sat down dejectedly, and Sarabi put a foreleg around both of them.
"Nuka and Vitani are stronger than you guys know," she comforted them. "They are alive, and they are okay."
"Scar!"
They looked up to see Zazu, frantically flapping his wings. All three adults got up immediately. "What is it, Zazu?" Scar practically demanded.
The horrific image was stuck in his head, and for a moment, he couldn't find the words.
"Zazu?"
"What did you see?"
The royal couple's voices brought him back. He shook his head and turned to Scar. "Nuka...Vitani...dead zone...being attacked by rogues!"
No...not the dead zone...Nuka, Vitani, I'm coming!
As Scar ran off to his kids, nobody noticed the brown lioness cub, whose red-brown eyes were widened in fear.
Nuka raced over to the horrible screams of pain. He had no idea what was going on, but he knew that he had to hurry up.
And fast.
It felt like centuries before he reached where they originally were. Stopping to take a drink, his sister's scent filled his nose. An idea popped in his head, and he smelled the ground tracking his sister scent; the fact that her scent was still strong confirmed his suspicions. Regaining his energy, he ran off following the scent.
It was getting stronger and stronger, and another plea pinpointed the location. Running a bit further, he caught sight of...
Another leopon climbing off of his sister, and rubbing something onto her inner thighs.
Fuck.
Mind completely overtaken by fury, he roared, getting the attention of the other one. In a flash, he tackled the second leopon.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!" he roared in the leopon's face.
Getting a good look at Nuka, he smirked. "So you're her brother huh? Not what I expected."
Nuka's rage got the better of him, and with unnatural strength, he scratched, bit, and served several blows to the leopon.
"Heh, think you're so strong, huh tough guy?" the leopon sneered.
Nuka smirked at him. "Your other friend wasn't so lucky, so yeah, I'd say I'm pretty strong," he answered with a cocky tone.
The leopon had an infuriating realization. "What did you do to my brother?" he demanded.
Nuka smirked. "Oh, nothing really...just gave him a one way trip to the Great Kings!"
The leopon lunged at him, but to his bad side, Nuka dodged it, and instead pounced on him, tearing off parts of his mane. The leopon got a bit loose, and they wrestled each other around for a bit.
With Vitani:
The pain in her lower half was unreal, her head was pounding, and the nausea was now overwhelming.
She heard a familiar roar, and slowly lifted her head to see her brother and her assaulter engaged in a brutal battle. She mustered up whatever strength she had left, and limped towards the small cave that resembled the one she had first spotted.
The moment she was inside, all she could do was curl up into a ball and let her tears run down her face until she felt herself fade.
Come on, Nuka. You can do it.
Normal POV:
The battle was a long one, and Nuka was starting to grow tired; the previous battle took everything out from him. Unfortunately, the leopon didn't seem to share that. Nuka's energy was running low, and the leopon took complete advantage of this. Knocking him around a few times, along with worsening his previous cuts and bites, he finally got him on the floor, managing to knock him on his head, and crush his ribs, earning a howl of pain from the lion. Staring straight up, he locked eyes with the leopon, who was evilly grinning at him.
"So, ya thought you could beat me, huh," he taunted, "well, you were damn wrong!
Unsheathing his claws again, he held them up to Nuka's face, and chuckled darkly. "Have fun in the afterlife!"
The pain in his head was excruciating, and his ribs stung.
All he could do was stare at the leopon as be bled out.
I'm sorry, Mom and Dad. 'Tani, I love you so much, and I'm sorry. Kovu...you're nothing but a termite, but I loved having you as a brother.
Just as he was sure he was going to be killed, he heard a roar.
His legs ached, but his kids being alive fueled his energy.
I'm coming you guys, hang on.
He ran and ran, nearly tripping over the corpse of the leopon. Losing focus for a minute, he studied the leopon.
"These scars look like those of a lion," he said to himself, "could it be that..."
He slightly sniffed the body, and the familiar scent overcame him. His suspicions were confirmed: Nuka had killed the leopon.
Following his scent, he continued on the hunt for them. As he continued running, the scent grew stronger, with the new scent of his daughter. Then to his unfortunate luck, the scent disappeared. Frustration flooded through him, and he swatted the ground.
"Where are they?" he demanded angrily, "they've gotta be here somewhere."
Contemplating on what to do next, he heard a voice.
"Have fun in the afterlife!"
He made his way to the sound, but not before accidentally stepping into...blood?
Looking down at the crimson liquid, he noticed a small trail leading towards what appeared to be a small cave. With a new surge of energy, he followed the trail, taking sight of what appeared to be a lion. It had its claws pointed at something trapped underneath; running closer, he saw what-no, who-was trapped underneath the leopon...
Enraged, he sped over, letting out a roar of anger.
At the top of Pride Rock, Mufasa and Sarabi were looking out the horizon watching the cubs play. They had all grown closer to one another, and the sight absolutely warmed their hearts.
"Look how happy they are," Sarabi commented, nuzzling her mate.
Mufasa hummed in agreement. He knew his son had such a forgiving nature, just like the two of them. That, and Kula's kind heart, made them two of the most sweetest cubs. It was no wonder all the animals wanted to be around them.
A loud roar was soon heard. So loud, the floor trembled ever so slightly. Mufasa knew that roar anywhere; it was his brother, and boy did he sound angry.
"What the hell was that?" Sarabi questioned, the sound severely startling her.
"Scar...I think he found them!" He turned to head down to Pride Rock.
"Wait, where are you going?" Sarabi demanded.
Mufasa turned back to her. "He may need help," he bluntly answered.
Sarabi stared at her mate incredulously. "Well, you're not going alone."
Mufasa stared at her. "Then who will watch the kids?" he challenged.
He watched in defeat as his mate waved a paw. "Sarafina, or even one of the others, can watch them." She eyed Mufasa, daring him to challenge her again.
He stared at the ground for a moment, before locking eyes with her. "We have to find Zira; we don't have any time to waste" was his final response as the two raced down, and towards the sound.
He could barely breathe. Blood was flowing everywhere around him, and his ribs were burning in pain. It almost felt as if time purposely slowed down, as karma for being so cruel to his little sister. He couldn't move.
Literally, and in the sense that he was paralyzed in shock and fear.
An angry roar brought him back, and no sooner after did he feel a weight off of him.
All he could see was a blur of brown, with a few hints of black. There was only one lion he knew with brown fur and bits of black.
"D-Dad?"
Of course, Scar was too busy in his battle, he didn't hear him. The pain became too much, and he felt himself begin to faint.
The older lion scratched, bit, and even tore off a bit of the leopon's small mane. Despite that, the leopon got him a few times, especially with his claws. He hopped off the leopon, and bared his teeth at him. "Stay the hell away from my son," he stated in a menacing tone.
The leopon, despite panting heavily, scoffed. "Please, your son could barely protect his sister," he sneered, "besides..." he slowly rose his head to look up at Scar. "An eye for an eye. Or in this case, a life for a life!"
He tried to lunge at Nuka, but Scar forced him down, and he could hear a sickening crack.
"Clearly you didn't hear me the first time," Scar spoke in his typical sarcastic manner, "so allow me to repeat myself." He placed a paw forcefully on his throat. "Stay the hell away from my son."
Then something clicked in Scar's head: Vitani was nowhere to be found.
Tightening his paw, he interrogated the leopon. "Where's my daughter?! What did you do to her?!"
The leopon just glared at him. "I-I'm...not...saying..."
He squeezed even tighter. "Tell me now!" he roared.
The leopon made a smug face. "A-All I did...was remind her...o-of her place..."
Scar began to see red. Slashing repeatedly on the leopon's abdomen, he felt a sadistic feeling watching him cringe and squirm in pain. The leopon had a quick burst of energy and knocked the older lion off. To his dismay, however, Scar quickly recovered from the hit. turning back to him, he bared his teeth and crept over to him. He lifted his paw to swipe down on his throat, but a voice stopped him.
"Scar!"
He looked up just in time to see his brother jump in front of him.
"Mufasa! What are you doing here?" he asked in complete surprise, with a hint of relief.
"You're my brother, I'm not letting you do this alone" was his warm, but blunt reply.
The leopon looked at Mufasa wide-eyed. Mufasa...that's the king of the Pride Lands! And I just nearly killed his niece and nephew...shit...
"Step aside, Mufasa," Scar warned in a murderous tone.
Mufasa, however, wasn't phased. "Scar, brother, you're better than this. It's not worth it."
Scar's green eyes flashed. "Are you serious right now?! He fucking killed my son, and did who knows what to my daughter!"
Mufasa didn't say anything. Instead, he turned to the now frightened leopon. "I think it'd be wise if you got out of here."
The leopon was ready to make another smart remark, but a pair of murderous eyes from the brothers was enough for him. Slowly getting up, he limped away, not turning back for a second.
Suddenly, Scar remembered his oldest was lying in a pool of blood.
"Nuka!"
He ran back after his son, Mufasa trailing close behind. They found Sarabi and Zira standing above him, and it seemed like they were speaking to him.
"Nuka, honey, what happened?" they heard Zira ask.
What they heard next completely surprised them.
"Rogues...attacked...wasn't...fast...enough..."
Unable to hold on anymore, he slipped. His breathing became shallow, and each bone in his body hurt with each breath.
Ignoring the blood surrounding him, Scar lowered his head and bumped Nuka's, a sign of comfort.
Thank Kings you're alive.
Taking a few steps back, his heart dropped and he gasped. The adults looked down and noticed that his ribs on the left were completely broken, and a bone was even popping out one of them.
Scar walked back and looked at the other three.
"One of his bones is popping out, and I need to push it back in. I need you guys to keep him as still as possible if he starts thrashing around," he instructed, to which they nodded in response.
Carefully, grabbing the bone, he slid it back into place. Seeing the sight distress on his face, Zira held his paw in hers to suppress the pain while Sarabi ran a paw through his curly mohawk. Once he finished, he folded the skin to prevent anymore bone popping out.
"Good heavens!"
They all looked up to see Zazu, staring at the scene. Luckily, none of them were weak stomached, because the scene was incredibly intense.
"How did you know we were gone?" Sarabi questioned.
Zazu merely looked at her. "I've known you guys since you were cubs. If one of you is in danger, all of you help out."
Had it not been for the (literally) life-or-death situation, they would've laughed at that. As Zazu looked around a second time, something else caught his eye.
"Wasn't Vitani with him?"
At hearing the name of his daughter, Scar remembered she was nowhere near the scene. They looked around.
"Vitani?" Scar called out.
Silence.
"Tani?" Zira repeated.
Silence.
Their hearts dropped again as they began to search the area.
"Vitani!"
"Vitani!"
"Tani!"
The two ran off to see if the leopon had dragged her away. When they returned with nothing, Scar was on the verge of losing it again.
"I swear to Kings, I will find that damn leopon and-"
"Shh!"
He turned to Zira, an incredulous look on his face. "You have some nerve to silence, while our daughter-"
Glaring at him now, she yanked his ear. "Listen," she harshly whispered.
He begrudgingly did as he was, and listened. Whimpers were heard soon after, and they all turned to the small cave. He noticed the trail of blood, as if something had been dragged there...
Running over to it, the whimpers intensified. There was a fairly large rock covering most of the entrance, but the crack was big enough for a cub to easily crawl into.
"Zira, help me move this rock!" he called out. Rushing over, his mate aided in pushing the rock away from the cave, revealing the inside, and allowing the light to flow in. One glance down, and the duo gasped.
There lied a bruised, bloody, balled-up Vitani.
"Oh Kings," he heard Zira gasp.
Carefully grabbing her, they slowly pulled her out of the small cave. She didn't move a muscle, but she was whimpering and trembling violently. Despite now being seated upright, she wasn't looking at anyone.
"Vitani?" he whispered.
Still no response. She just trembled and stared, tears still rolling down her face.
"You're okay now; we're here," Zira tried to comfort her.
Vitani slowly rose her head, and they could see an overwhelming amount of emotion running through her purple-blue eyes.
"M-Mom? D-Daddy?" she tearfully choked out, her whimpers turning into gut twisting sobs.
Zira reached out to try and pull her close, but she recoiled and whined.
"We're gonna take you guys home, 'Tani," Scar whispered. "Everything's going to be just fine."
Vitani only kept crying, and it broke Scar's and Zira's hearts to see her so petrified.
He heard movement behind him, and the scent of his brother filled his nose.
"Kings," he heard Mufasa mutter. "We have to get them back to the Pride Lands immediately."
"Yes, we do," Zira nodded.
Scar nodded at both responses. Reaching down to his daughter, she flinched and whimpered at his touch. The black maned lion stared in shock. Was she now afraid of him too?
"I'm not going to hurt you," he softly reassured her.
Vitani seemed to slightly calm down, enough for him to scoop her up. Noticing that blood was still leaking from her wounds, Sarabi suggested he set her down for a moment. Doing so, he realized Nuka was still on the floor. Crouching down, he turned to Mufasa.
"Here, place him on my back," he instructed.
Mufasa nodded, and helped his mate pull Nuka up.
They managed to place him on Scar's back, and he slowly rose, as to not hurt him anymore. Sarabi grabbed the shaking Vitani with a foreleg and gently place her on Mufasa's back.
"Zira and I will run and inform Rafiki," Sarabi stated, before looking up. "Come along, Zazu."
They watched as their mates took off into a full sprint, with Zazu flying at full speed. The brothers soon began trotting as fast as they could, trying not to worsen their injuries anymore
As the two walked, there was only one thought on Scar's mind:
My kids are alive.
