It had been two days since Aoi visited Tanjiro for the first time, and since then Tanjiro hadn't gotten many visits from generally anyone although Nezuko and Zenitsu came to check up on him at one point, he relished their presence greatly considering his little lone enclosure, Tanjiro is also glad he had been able to get some sleep after two years, when he woke up in the afternoon this day he yawned contently and stretched, a small smile plastered on the boy's face as she shook off the blanket and went over to the bookshelf to grab a new pastime book.

Although, before he was able to select a book that looked interesting there were a few knocks on the door, Tanjiro recognized the scent of the person the knocks belonged to so he twirled to face the door, "Come in." he said with his usual happy tone as he watched the door open and the familiar face of Shinobu enter through it, "Kamado-kun, would you come with me please?" She asked, earning a confused look from the Demon Boy, "I just want to properly talk with you in my office." she continued as to answer the boy's stare, Tanjiro nodded in return, "But, didn't we already have a pretty lengthy talk a few days ago?" he asked after with confusion still a bit clear in his tone.

Shinobu just giggled at the boy, "Yes, we did. But I'd like to talk to you while your sister is there too, and I think an office is a better place to have a lengthy chat than a recently vacated guest room." she answered with a valid point, the room Tanjiro had been assigned was made specifically for one person afterall and the only real places to get properly seated were a simple wooden chair and the bed, Tanjiro quickly glanced at the bookshelf before he nodded and stepped towards Shinobu.

So, Tanjiro followed Shinobu through the halls of the estate, making sure to dodge any windows that happened to litter the walls as to avoid stepping into the burning harsh sunlight whilst he observed the decorated walls, a few audible gasps of intrigue escaped his mouth at some of the decor, which earned another giggle from the lady she was following, "Even though he's been a Demon for two years, there's something so human about the way he acts." Shinobu thought to herself as she glanced over her shoulder to get a peek at the boy following her.

"Wait, hold on." Tanjiro suddenly said, his nose picking up the nearby scent of people clearly and he figured it would be better to ask this now than to just wait for it to happen, "Has everyone been… You know, informed yet?"

"Yes, no need to worry, Kamado-kun." Shinobu quickly answered, giving Tanjiro a great reassurance that he atleast wouldn't end up scaring anyone accidentally, "Although, don't be surprised if anyone acts wary around you." Shinobu followed up, Tanjiro laughed at the comment even though it was clearly an awkward one, "Yeah, I would've figured as much." he said.

The walk soon ended as Shinobu pushed open one of the doors lining the halls, revealing inside the woman's office, while Tanjiro initially wanted to immediately enter thanks to the strong present scent of his sister, he winced at the other present smell of Wisteria that quickly escaped the room and he pinched his nose shut in response, frankly Tanjiro should've realized she worked closely with Wisteria, Shinobu trailed a faint Wisteria scent herself although it wasn't strong enough to really discomfort him or his sensitive nose, but now that Tanjiro had been brought to Shinobu's workspace the smell of Wisteria was incredibly strong, so strong it almost made him puke.

As Shinobu turned to face Tanjiro to usher him inside, she noticed the boy's scrunched expression that, although hard to directly describe, clearly showed that Tanjiro was better off not going inside the office, she sighed, she should've figured this would happen, Tanjiro had a strong nose afterall and Shinobu's office was littered with vials of Wisteria Poison.

"...Wait here, I think there might be someplace else where we can have this chat." Shinobu said to pierce the silence, she entered the room shortly clearly telling Nezuko to come along, as by the time she exited Nezuko was right behind her, Nezuko gave Tanjiro a worried look but the boy just rose his hand as to say 'It'll be fine.', Shinobu was already trying to find someplace else to chat, afterall.

They had opted with an empty hospital ward, Tanjiro felt a little awkward now that he had effectively forced them to seek out such an unorthodox place to chat but Shinobu's smile didn't falter, in fact she didn't seem to mind it too much, going as far as to say "Don't worry about it, Kamado-kun. It's only logical you'd be repelled by Wisteria."

"What exactly did you want to talk to us about, Kocho-san?" Nezuko asked with intrigue and as to begin the chat Shinobu had in mind, but she raised a hand, "You can just call me Shinobu." she said.

"Either way, I'm interested in the relationship you two have. Aswell as your journey so far." Shinobu said while lowering the previously raised hand, "You see, you two traveling together is something the Corps really isn't used to. I'm sure that was already obvious by the fact you had to undergo a trial, normally a Demon loses all of their human memories and becomes feral, eating human after human to satiate their bottomless hunger… Yet you, Tanjiro, you've overcome that Demon half of yours and from the looks of it you even retained your memories."

"Well, about that." Tanjiro sheepishly said as he lowered his gaze, "I can remember things that happened a few months before my transformation just fine, but anything further back becomes fuzzy. I can't even remember a year before my transformation…"

"Well, you clearly remember enough to know what's right or wrong." Shinobu answered with a joking tone, Tanjiro's gaze locked with hers for a bit as his lips curled into a small smile, "Yeah, I guess you're right." he said in response.

"So Nezuko, would you like to begin from the start?" Shinobu asked as she turned to face the girl in question, who perked up at the sudden comment and gave a firm "Right!", earning a laugh from both Shinobu and her older brother.

She explained, she explained how her family had been coal burners for generations, how they were relatively poor but lived a happy life together, how the earrings Tanjiro wore were passed down alongside a dance that could be danced from sunset to sunrise and was meant as a prayer to the Fire God Hinokami, to pray for their safety because they worked so close with fire.
She explained how one night, Tanjiro came back home deep in the night, the night he had been turned into a Demon, the short struggle that ensued and Giyu's involvement, how it all helped Tanjiro regain his sense of self and the journey that followed.
She explained Urokodaki's training, how Tanjiro had also asked Urokodaki to be trained alongside Nezuko, the tender moments the three had together over dinner sometimes.
She explained her encounter with the Hand Demon during Final Selection, how he had been responsible for killing so many of Urokodaki's students and how she defeated them.
She also talked about getting their Nichirin Blades and the scenario that came after, how Tanjiro had been a huge help during their battles with the few Demons they fought and how they'd met Zenitsu before they came to Natagumo mountain.

After that Tanjiro chimed in, talking about when he had been forced to become part of the Spider Family and how he'd silently sabotage them and free the people he was meant to trap in the first place, he also told them about his encounter with Inosuke, and also explained he had met the boar-masked slayer before Natagumo Mountain.

Nezuko continued after to talk about her experiences during the raid, how she'd faced off against Rui again, and how Tanjiro suddenly showed up to fight by her side again, how he suddenly unleashed a new breathing technique and how he erupted into flames thanks to his own unique Blood Demon Art he suddenly developed.

During all of this Shinobu listened intently, only asking a few questions to understand the turn of events better, and after they were done recalling the events Shinobu hummed at the two with a beaming smile, Nezuko was clearly infected by it but Tanjiro not so much, he could still smell the underlying anger under the smile.
It was only logical for her to be angry afterall, he had heard enough about her during their private talk.
Her simple goal to avenge her now dead sister fills her with anger, yet she still wants to put up a good front and not bother others with it.

Then Tanjiro remembered a question he wanted to ask, and so he asked "Say, Shinobu. Do you happen to know anything about the Hinokami Kagura itself?"

Shinobu clearly looked like she was pondering for a bit, but then firmly told the boy "Nope.", in response Tanjiro almost flailed about in embarrassment as he tried to find a better way to word the question, "Then- Then- What about Fire Breathing or-"

"Nope."

Tanjiro effectively shut down immediately after the second 'Nope', feeling like he could cave in at any moment, although Shinobu immediately followed up her second comment, "Maybe you should ask the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro."

"Flame Breathing?" Tanjiro shot back confused, "Isn't that effectively the same as Fire Breathing?"

"No, you mustn't call Flame Breathing, Fire Breathing, otherwise it would've been called that long ago, I can send a crow to the Rengoku Household although it will be a little while until you get a response.", Tanjiro lit up knowing there was some other way of finding out about their family dance that turned out to be a Breathing Style, and he nodded in return to let Shinobu know that yes, he would like a crow to relay a message.

"And Nezuko, would you like to add anything to the conversation?" Shinobu asked as she turned to look at the girl in question, "No, I don't have anything to ask." she said in return.

"Well, then that concludes our chat. Tanjiro, you're free to roam the premise." Shinobu said as she got up and clapped her hands together before walking off to leave the two siblings alone who exchanged looks a bit after, "I guess we have some free time, Onii-chan." Nezuko began and quickly earned a smile from said older brother, "In which case, I'd like to teach you a few things!" Nezuko said after a smile of her own, "When I was resting up here last time I learned so many new skills. And I want you to learn them too!"

"You surely looked a lot stronger when I saw you on the mountain again." Tanjiro added to it to confirm his sister's words, "I'm going to teach you every single thing!" Nezuko responded with immense glee, gripping her brother's arm tight before dragging him off to the training hall to teach.
