The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

"Are you out of your mind!?" Vegeta yelled in Rain's face.

Goku lifted a hand. "Uhh, can I say something?"

"No!" Shouted the saiyan prince.

He then turned back to the young woman in front of him. Who stood there with her arms crossed and a serious look on her face. She knows it's not the most brilliant idea. Hell, Rain would've called someone crazy if they mentioned the proposal she just mentioned to the two saiyans in front of her. She can only hope that it may work otherwise, Rain may as well sigh her own death warrant.

"Look I understand, it sounds batshit. But just let me take some more of those ki suppressant rounds. As long as we keep up on them, then he will not be a threat to us. And if he gives me any problems, I could always put a bullet in his scrawny ass. Either way, I'll be keeping an eye on him." She replied.

"I don't see how this could do any good. He'll never change Rain. He's been in Hell for over a decade and never repented for his crimes. This is no different. Frieza maybe weak enough for you to handle right now. But for all you know, he could be buying his time until he comes up with a plan." Goku informed her.

"Hence why I asked for the extra ki suppressant rounds. And as I said, he does try anything then I'll shoot him myself. In his current state, bullets can kill him. Your really think it's best just to keep him in that cell 24/7? If you do that, then of course he will come up with many different ways he could kill us all. Just trust me on this, I'll keep an eye on him." Rain assured them.

Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "I still think you should've let me kill the bastard. After all, he was just about to conveniently kill us before you intervened."

Rain knew he was right. But they didn't see what she saw, when she was stuck with him on the ship. She saw raw emotion in those crimson colored orbs. He does feel, if he has the capacity for that. Then he has the capacity for change. The trick is, trying to figure out a way to draw it out. That's why a part of her couldn't condemn the alien warrior to such a grisly end. She's trained to read people. Their body language, their reactions, and their faces. True, he was a master manipulator and liar when he wanted to be. She could feel a slight twinge of deception in his words. But he also seemed interested in what she had to offer.

"Well, if I'm wrong. Then you guys can chew my ass out later about it." Rain replied.

The saiyan prince snorted, "I doubt it would get that far. Because Frieza will kill you long before we get that chance."

She rolls her eyes. "Well then, you have my permission to play all the best hits of 'TOOL' at my funeral. Be sure to start it off with 'Sober'." She says with sarcasm.

He grumbles and clenches his fists. "Fine, you have Bulma's number and your literally right down the street. Call us if he acts up." Vegeta said through gritted teeth.

Rain gave him the thumbs up before turning to go back to the lab. Goku and Vegeta watched her go. Veins were pulsing from the saiyan prince's temples and neck. While the orange clad saiyan stood there, rubbing the back of his head with a questioning look on his face.

"Why would she want us to bring tools to her funeral?" Goku asked in confusion.

Vegeta just shook his head mumbling 'idiot'. Then he sharply turned and walked down the hall in the opposite direction. Goku stood there for a few more seconds before he too made his way back to the lab entrance.

When Rain entered, she was surprised to see Bulma was already back in there. Though the scientist was paying no mind to the tyrant currently taking up residence in the cell at the far end of her lab. She was eyes deep in a microscope when Rain approached her. The older woman looked up from her work and smiled.

"Hey, everything ok?" Bulma asked the ex-sniper.

Rain nodded, "Yeah, just came to collect Jack Skellington over there. I've talked it over with Vegeta and Goku. Frieza's coming with me for the time being. So I came to ask for more rounds."

The blue haired scientists gasped and her eyes looked like they were about to pop out of her head.

"Rain! You can't be serious! He's dangerous!" She exclaimed.

"Shhh!" Rain shushed the frantic woman. "As long as we have him pumped full of ki suppressant he is no longer a global threat."

Bulma raised a blue brow. "Just a threat to you. Which I'm still not ok with. What's your reasoning for taking him out of there anyway? It's not like you can keep the little psychopath as a pet."

Rain shrugs and observes the petite arcosian warrior. Frieza was currently leaning back against the far wall of his cell, with his arms crossed over his lean, pale chest.

"We've already gave him a dose of humanity, when I stuck him with the rounds filled with ki suppressants. Perhaps I can continue to try and give him a reality check on what its like to really be like one of us." Rain said.

Bulma was about to say something but paused.

"You said rounds as in plural. Did you stick him with more than one, Rain?" She asks.

"I stuck him with two rounds at once. Why?" The younger woman asked.

Bulma turned her gaze to the captive. Who was now eyeing the women with a questioning look. She then turned back to Rain.

"That means he could be without power for longer than we thought. To be honest with you though. I'm not so sure how temporary the suppressants are. I have yet to look further into the components. What I am one hundred percent sure about is that they are super affective and temporary. And that's what worries me. What if the suppressant wears off before you can get him again with another round of the dose? This is why I don't like the idea of you alone with him." She told Rain.

Rain puts her hand on Bulma's shoulder with a reassuring smile.

"Please don't worry about me. If he really is no stronger than a human at this point. Then I have a better shot at incapacitating and restraining him if I have to. Remember, I have quite the arsenal at my place too. Few guns, rifles, knives, and a taser. If anything, it's him you should worry about." She joked.

Bulma walked over to a large metal safe at the other side of the room and opened it. She pulled out another box and stuck it in a bag before giving it to Rain.

"Here are the rest of the suppressants. This box combined with the one I already given you, along with the rifle should last you a long while...Hopefully. I kept a couple, so I could look more into their properties and get a better understanding at how long they last. I will contact you with the results as soon as I get an accurate time stamp on the suppressants. In the mean time, either call me or I'll call you once a day. I want to be sure that your alright and maybe a follow up on how his body is still reacting to the doses." Bulma informed her.

Rain took the bag. "Are there any clear signs I will see from him when it starts to wear off?"

Bulma nodded. "Shakiness, is a big one. That would be his body trying to shake off the remnants of the affects. Another, is if he appears to be getting stronger or faster. If he tries to summon energy and there is crackling energy around him. That's why you need to keep a close eye on him and monitor him. You see any signs of this and you will have to dose him again. You have an arsenal, I'd like to think there is a tranq gun among your collection."

The ex-soldier nodded. "Of course, so knock him out with that, then dose him."

"Be careful, it may sound easy. But this is Frieza we're talking about. The guy is wicked smart. Make sure you keep both the suppressants and tranq gun hidden from him." Bulma warned.

"Right." Rain said, with a smirk.

She turned and began to walk away. Before she could turn the corner and back in view of the cell. Bulma spoke up again.

"Rain, why are you doing this? Why go through all the trouble for this monster? You spent ten years alert and looking out for enemies. You were captured, first by the Taliban, then by Frieza. You should be getting your life back together. Instead it's like your taking a step backwards by taking him in. So why?" Bulma asks.

The petite woman sighs and runs a hand through her long brown locks. She faces Bulma with a small sad smile.

"You may not have seen it. That's ok, your not trained to spot these things. But what I saw in his eyes back on that ship, was far more human than any of my human captors back in Afghanistan. I know the difference between a genuine coldhearted animal and one who just lives under the visage of one." Rain told her.

That's all she gave the blue haired woman, before Rain made her way over to Frieza's cell. He pushes off the wall and approaches her. 'Moment of Truth' she thought as she keyed in the code to open the plexiglass cell door. It slid open, leaving nothing between them now. She stood at the entrance and waited for him.

"You waiting for an invitation? And here I thought you wanted to leave?" Rain said.

He snorts and exits his cell. Rain moves out of his way to let him through. He eyes the bag in her hand.

"What's that?" He asked.

"A cucumber and some vaseline. Don't worry about it. Let's just go." She says.

He raises an eye ridge in question at her response. But shrugs it off and follows her.

"I take it I'm staying with you then." Frieza says, with a pleased smirk.

She sharply turns to face him. Making the warrior halt in his tracks.

"Let's make one thing perfectly clear. Yes, you are staying at my place. But that doesn't mean there won't be ground rules. Rule number one, my room is off limits. Whether I'm in there or not, if I catch you in there I'll taser your ass until you piss yourself. And if I catch you going through my underwear drawer like a creeper. I'll waste you with my AR-15. Understood, Casper?"

He looked at her wide eyed, not expecting such a response. Frieza sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Very well, you have my word. Lead the way...Rain" He said with a mock bow.

She narrows her eyes and shakes her head. They pass Bulma, who has concern and fear written all over her face. Rain smirks and tells her 'Later' before they exit. Rain pushes open the door to leave. As Frieza follows her out, a hand blocks his way and thumps against his chest effectively stopping him from moving forward.

"Just going to let you know now, Frieza. We will be watching you. If we see so much as a bruise on her. Then whatever deal you two made is off. You won't be going back in that cell. You will be going back to Hell." Goku said, in warning to the shorter fighter.

Frieza pushed his hand away with a scowl.

"Are you quite finished, monkey?" He spat.

Goku narrowed his eyes, "Hardly."

"Well, whatever it is you wish to get off your chest. You will have to postponed to another time." Frieza said, as he side stepped the saiyan and resumed following Rain. Who was waiting a few feet ahead.

They were just almost at the front door of the house. When Vegeta turned down the hall and was headed their way. The saiyan prince eyed Rain. Then as he bypassed Frieza, Vegeta slammed his shoulder into the tyrant. This made Frieza stumble and rub his now aching shoulder. The evil emperor truly hated how low he had fallen. So weak now, that even such a simple move as what Vegeta did; hurt like hell. It felt as if he ran his shoulder into a solid steel wall. Yes, he had to find a way to get his power back soon. He will not tolerate being this weak and lowly for much longer.

They made it outside without anymore incidents. Rain lead him to a sleek black vehicle. She hopped on and slid an equally black helmet over her head. He stood there staring at the very small vehicle in question.

She turned to him, "Well, come on. Hop on behind me."

Frieza threw his leg over the other side like he saw her do and sat down. Then Rain instructed him to wrap his arms around her lower waist and hang on tight. He did as he was instructed as Rain started up the obnoxiously loud engine. She cautiously and slowly pulled out of the driveway. Once they hit the road she sped up. The wind was pounding his face and making him squint. He hopes it's not a very long ride. Because the loud roar of the engine combined with the uncomfortable vibrations under his ass made this ride anything but enjoyable.

They only ridden for five to seven minutes. Before Rain pulled into the small garage of the large penthouse. Then they went up a flight of stairs to the front door. Rain allowed them in, shrugged off her leather jacket, and hung it up in a small closet by the door. Frieza looked around, it was decent. They were currently in a rather spacious living room. On the right far wall, sat a nice leather couch set. A coffee table sat a couple feet in front of it. And across from it on the far left side of the wall, was a nice sized oak fireplace and mantle. A large, flat screen t.v. sat above it.

"So, I guess I'll give you the grand tour. As you can see this is the living room. Follow me to the First room on the left." She said.

Rain lead Frieza into what could only be the dining room. A large oak table with six matching chairs occupied the room. And when he looked to the right, there was an archway that lead into a medium sized kitchen.

"This is obviously the dining room and over there is the kitchen." She said, pointing her thumb through the archway he just looked through.

She lead him back out and crossed the living room to the opposite side. They turned left down a hallway. There were two doors down the hall. One on the left and one door down the hall to the right. Rain lead him to the first door on the left and opened it.

"This is the bathroom." She said.

Rain then pulled him down to the second door and swung it open. It was a bedroom. It had a queen size bed in the middle of the room, with a large bureau by the far right wall. A flat screen t.v. was mounted on the wall near the foot of the bed.

"This is the guest room. Or in your case, it's your room." She told him.

He quirked an eye ridge and looked around the room. Guess this will have to do for now. Then he looked over his shoulder at the one room on the opposite side of the hall about several feet further down.

"And what's in that room?" He asked curiously.

"Off limits, that's all you need to know." She grounded out in warning.

He smirks, "You mean your room. Don't worry, I don't see myself going anywhere near there in the coming future."

"And that's how it will always be while your staying under this roof." She stated.

Frieza chuckles, he couldn't resist pushing her buttons.

"For now, little human." He says.

Rain got in his face at that remark.

"No, as in Never, little alien." She snaps back.

She turns around and heads into her room, slamming the door, and locking it. A minute later, she comes back out. Rain no longer had the bag she came in with. Which meant she stored it somewhere safe in her room.

"You can go back to the living room, while I make dinner." She said, gesturing back down the hall.

At first he didn't budge, just stood there staring with a scowl on his face.

"Let's make something perfectly clear. Just because I'm currently without power and under your care. Doesn't mean you tell me what to do. Is this understood?" He ground out.

She pinches the bridge of her nose in annoyance.

"Look, it's been a long day for us. I don't know about you. But I'm starving. So just humor me and go back to the living room, please." Rain says.

He scoffs at her remark. She had a long day? Yet, he was the one who ended up losing his power and his freedom.

"I rather go to the guest room, if you don't mind." He tells her.

Rain narrowed her eyes. She didn't want him out of sight just yet. That's why she insisted he go to the living room. That way he'd be in her line of vision from the kitchen, which had a fairly good view of half the room from a small viewing window.

"Fine, just don't take to long. Or I'll come looking for you." She threatened.

Frieza sneered at her, before walking back down and into the guestroom, and slammed the door. While never taking her eyes off his door. Rain slides open a tiny panel by her bedroom door. Inside was a thumb print panel, which allowed her to lock her bedroom door from the outside. This ensured her that no one could get in but her. Because it had only her finger print in the system. She just needs to remember to lock it every time she leaves her room with him now occupying the place.

She applied her thumb print to the small transparent plate. Not a moment later, the lock clicked on the door. Rain then headed down the hall. She slowed down and listened to see if she could hear anything coming from the guest room. It sounded like he was walking about in there. 'Probably scoping out his new surrounding'. Rain continued on down the hall. Once she made it to the kitchen, she pulled out some frozen chicken and set it on the table. Then she started up the oven.

Rain sat down at the island and put her face in her hands with a heavy sigh. She could only hope she made the right choice by bringing him here. Otherwise, she may as well refer herself as earth's most stupid human being. Frieza pulled open the curtains more and looked out the window. He observed humans rushing about below. Some were on the sidewalks, others in cars. He let's out an audible exhale and brings his left hand in view. He makes a fist a couple times and closes his eyes briefly. How far he truly has fallen.

Looks like Frieza is officially under house arrest. With none other than his previous human captive. It's ironic how the tables have turned in such a short period of time. He won't find it easy living with her, that's for sure. But unbeknownst to him, it won't be all that easy for Rain either. Until Next Time ;)
