The next day. Darjeelings dorm.

Darjeeling woke up and her hair was a mess and she had a headache. She texted Kay and asked if she could go over to the Saunders ship for the day. She got up and got dressed. She put her hair up and left her dorm. She got a text from Kay saying that it would be nice if they could get together. She packed a small bag and headed to the depart dock. She ran into Rosehip exiting Assam's room again.

"We need to stop running into each other like this Rosehip. How did everything go with Assam?" Darjeeling asked as they walked out of the building.

"It went ok. I kinda messed up and everything, but we did have a good time." Rosehip said blushing. "Where are you going Miss Darjeeling?"

"I am going over to the Saunders ship. I am going to talk to Kay." Darjeeling said.

Rosehip nodded to let her know that she was listening. They split up as soon as they left the building. Darjeeling was met by Kay who was already at the depart dock. She smiled at her and waved. Kay embraced her in a hug and returned the kind gesture.

"Hey. How are you doing?" Kay asked with excitement.

"Surprised. I didn't know you were coming over."

"I wanted to surprise you. I was going to take you out to eat or something, going to Saunders ship would be better." Kay said

"Then let us go. This next week is a free week for us. We could invite the others over to hang out on the Saunders ship." Darjeeling said, heading down to the stairs.

"That would be fun, I think we have a free week as well. Though I do want today to ourselves." Kay said as they sat down.

The boat launched and made way to the Saunders ship which was fairly close. They talked about school and Kay mentioned that she had found a college that has Tankery and that it was affordable for her.

"Really, where is it?" Darjeeling asked.

"It is one in America. They have their own federation and they allow boys and girls. I would be away from home a lot longer. I guess I still have a year to decide. For now I want to focus on my time with you."

"Thank you Kay, that means a lot to me. I still have yet to find a place to go in England"

"Anyway, there is a really good place on the ship that I go to. We can go there if you want."

"I would like that, thank you. I do want to be back before the others know that I am gone. I will have to tell them at some point that I am seeing you though."

"I will be there for you if you want me there, I get that this step is hard. I think that your friends will understand,"

The boat landed at the ship and the two girls got off and Darjeeling looked at the Saunders ship. She looked at Kay who was looking at her phone. She sighed and nudged Kay's shoulders, getting her attention. Kay looked at her apologetically. They walked to the restaurant that Kay had mentioned. They walked inside and took a booth in the back of the restaurant. They continued their conversation through dinner and Darjeeling realized the time and mentioned something to Kay.

"Kay, I do think that we need to get going, if I am gone too long the others will worry."

"Then message them and let them know that you are staying here. You can invite them over tomorrow."

"I guess, I just do not know if I am ready to tell them. I love you and all, but I am still wondering how they will take it." Darjeeling said. She looked at Kay with a small smile.

"I love you too. If you do not want to do this, then I will not force you to do this. You will have to tell them at some point though."

"Ugh, you are right. You may be right. I will tell them I am staying over here."

She sent Assam a text telling her what is going on and to have the group ready to come over the next day. Assam texted her and told her that she understands and that she will let the others know. Kay led Darjeeling to her dorm and stopped in front of her door.

"I wasn't expecting guests so my room is kinda messy and unorganized. Please do not think anything of it"

"I understand. I have times when my room gets untidy"

"Alright then" Kay said

Kay opened the door and held it for Darjeeling. She walked in the room and was shocked that it was much tidier than Kay had mentioned. The sun was setting over the horizon as the two girls got settled on the couch. Darjeeling looked at the models that Kay had and noticed that she had mainly American tanks and noticed the Churchill Mk VII next to the M4 Sherman. She looked around and saw that Kay had gotten herself a drink.

"So, what do we do now?" Kay asked, drinking the soda.

"I don't know, what about TV?"

"Sure. What do you want to watch?"

This went on until the two finally found a show to watch. Darjeeling settled on the couch and Kay cuddled next to her. The show continued for a few episodes and Darjeeling noticed that Kay was now asleep on the couch next to her.

"Kay, come on, let's get you to your bed."

"Huh, oh, alright." She said, standing up and stretching. "Oh, you have no night clothes do you?"

"No, I was not planning on spending the night."

"Well, then maybe one of my shirts will fit you." Kay said, leading Darjeeling to her room.

Darjeeling realized that this was the first time she had actually slept in the same bed as another girl that she had actual feelings for. She looked at Kay who was looking through her drawer to find a shirt. She moved next to Kay and lightly tapped her.

"Maybe I could do what you did when you stayed at my place?"
