In hospital :
Rahul and ACP carried him inside the hospital while supporting him completely on their shoulders and Rajni was shouting for doctor . After listening them Doctor Atul came with two ward boys and made him lie on a stretcher carefully
Dr Atul ( worried ): dekhiye Dr Rahul aapne bhaut acha kiya mujhe call kardiya varna inka bachna kaafi mushkil tha aur inki surgery karenge hum 2 ghante mein
ACP and Rajni became stunned listening his words while tears were rolling down their cheeks
Rajni ( only managed to utter ): k..ya matlab
Dr Atul ( confused ): aap log kon hai ?
Rahul: yeh iske parents hai
Dr Atul ( smiled sadly): Achha to aap hai vo lucky log jinko iske ( pointing towards Abhijeet) jaisa beta mila hai suddenly Abhijeet started coughing Dr Rahul aap inko sab batadijiyega mai isko ICU mein shift kar raha hoon iski halat bigarti jaa rahi hai mujhe kuch tests aur latest scans nikalne hai surgery se phele Rahul just nodded and he took him inside
ACP sir ( while crying): Rahul please mujhe batao usko kya hua hai please and started crying very harshly .
Rahul while making them sit on a bench and knelt in front of them and caringly held their hand

Rahul : nahi uncle yehi sach hai aur aapko pata hai jab usko pata chala na to vo bahut roya tha ki vo aapko kaise batayega aur jo vo kal se kar raha hai na vo bhi issi vajah se hai kunki vo aaplog se bahut pyar karta hai aap logo ko bilkul rota hua nahi dekh sakta uski vajah se to bilkul nahi aur jab kal vo aap logo ke sath vo sab karke aaya na to aapko pata nahi hai vo kitna roya tha itna guilty feel kar raha tha ki uski vajah se aap logo ki aankho mein aanso aaye hai aur jab maine pucha na usko ki vo aap logo ki nafrat kaise jhelega to usne pata hai kya kaha mujhe ki vo aap logo ke liye apni jaan de sakta hai to nafrat jhelna koi badi baat nahi hai sachii uncle aap na bahut lucky ho aapko uske jaisa beta mila hai aur vo drink karke nahi aaya tha uncle usko pata hai aap kitna hate karte ho vo sirf acting kar raha tha aapke samne aur vo jo do hafto se aap logo ke sath jo khush hone ka natak kar raha hai vo sirf isliye kunki vo aaologo ke sath kuch achaa time bitana chata tha
Both are actually feeling really numb they don't know how to react they are feeing too guilty for not understanding the reason behind his anger .
Suddenly ICU door opened Abhijeet was carried on a stretcher with a oxygen mask attached on his face and he was looking too pale and is semi-conscious both stood up and went to him and held his both hands very tightly;
ACP didn't know what to speak he just hugged him tightly and bursted in tears and kissed his face lovingly;
ACP sir ( crying): bachhe please mere pass vapas aajana mujhe us thapad ki itni badi saza mat dena please mujhe maaf kardena .
Abhijeet ( in innocent broken tone ): p..apa and wiped his tears very cutely m...uj..he i..n a..anso s..e naf..rat ha..i a..ap please m. t r. oy..iye...
Rajni (crying): Abhii she was kissing his hand very lovingly mujhe maaf kardena maine tumhe bahut galat bola na .
Abhijeet ( cutely wiped her tears ): a..ap r..ote h..ue b.i. a..chi n..ahi lagti h..ai .
Doctors took him inside as it is bad for patients to cry so much before a major surgery like this ACP went near Dr Atul .
ACP sir ( joined his hands in front of him): please Dr sahab usko bacha lena mai uske bina nahi ji sakta and he started crying really harshly.
Dr Atul ( held his hands ): dekhiye sir mai puri koshish karoonga and he went inside the operation theatre .
ACP fell on ground with thud and Rajni went forward and hugged him very tightly ;
ACP sir ( in very guilty tone ): Rajni mai kaisa baap hoon yar and started crying silently mai to uske bachpan se uski baate bina bole hi samjh jata tha na to phir mai nahi samjh paya uske uss jhoothe gusse ki piche ki vajah aur maine to uspe hath uthadiya he looked at his hands with hate aur vo jo do hafto se naatak karta aa raha hai isme mera bachha pal pal mara hoga na par mai samjh nahi paya usko aur maine usko kitna galat samjha yar chi mujhe to apne se nafrat ho rahi hai and started crying very harshly aur vo pagal humare man mein apne liye nafrat paida karne chala tha taki agar bhagwaan na kare kuch ho jaye to hume dukh na ho and he bursted out in tears .
Rajni ( extremely guilty): aur maine dekhiye kya kiya usko ghar se nikal diya aur usko kya kya nahi bola pradyuman mujhe to kissi ko maaf nahi karna chaiye par vo nalayak mere aanso ponch kar gaya hai and started crying very harshly ACP took her in a side hug pradyuman vo mujhse naaraz hoke to nahi jayega na vo vapas aajyega na mere pass mai marjaungi uske bina boliye na pradyuman .
ACP sir ( in teary tone ): Rajni kaisi baate kar rahi ho vo zaroor aayega vapas usko aana hi hoga humare pass usko hume saza bhi deni hai abhi jo humne uske sath behave kiya hai uske liye .
After few minutes a nurse came to them with some papers ;
Nurse ( to ACP ): sir yeh kuch formalities hai please sign kar dijiye .
ACP sir : formality kaisi formality.
Nurse : yehi ki operation ke time patient ko kuch bhi hua to humari responsibility nahi hogi .
ACP sir ( in extreme anger ): kaisi baate kar rahi hai aap vo jo andar leta hai na beta hai mera mera sab kuch hai vo aur aap kehti hai formality arre humari jaan basti hai usme uske bina to hum apni zindagi bitane ke baare mein soch bhi nahi sakte aur aap kehti hai formality hai .
Rahul took the papers from her hand and just assured her by his eyes ;
Rahul: uncle dekhiye yeh hospital ka kaam hai inka vo matlab nahi tha ACP took the paper and signed it with trembling hands and returned back to Rahul unable to bear more ACP rushed from there ;
Rahul : uncle kahan jaa rahe hai he was going to follow him Rajni held his hand and nodded in no

Flash back :
Abhijeet was 5 years old and ACP has to go for urgent meeting in Delhi CID HQ
Abhijeet : papa aap kab aaoge?
ACP sir ( casually ): beta mujhe 10 din lagenge
Listening this Abhijeet started crying very loudly Rajni came there listening his loud sobs
Rajni : arre ACP sahab kya kiya aapne ab jo vo ro raha hai
ACP sir ( worried ): maine to kuch nahi kiya sachii to Abhijeet kya hua aap ro kyu rahe ho bachhe and he picked him up and shocked to see his temperature he was having really mild fever Rajni dekho isse bukhar hai he bacame really worried and panicked
Rajni ( touched his forehead): arre ACP sahab yeh kal se hai maine isko dawaii dedi hai bahut kam hai fever sahi mein
ACP sir ( panicked ): kya dawaii dedi hai aur tumne mujhe bataya bhi nahi aur isko kal se bukhar hai
Rajni ( smiled at his concern ): relax ACP sahab kaafi kam hai aur aap kal late bhi to aaye the na vo theek hai
ACP sir ( worried ): relax kya relax usko bukhar hai aur tum mujhe relax karne ke liye keh rahi ho uske sar mein dard ho raha hoga isiliye ro raha hai tum jaldi se Doctor ko phone karo
Listening this Rajni' s mouth remained wide open
Rajni ( shocked ): itne se bukhar mein doctor ko bulau aur aapki meeting ka kya
ACP sir : nahi jaa raha mai isko chod kar aur agar tumhe nahi bulana to mai hi salunkhe ko call karta hoon he picked Abhijeet up and took him in room and made him lie on bed , he sat beside him and caringly held his hand and kissed his forehead lovingly .
He hurriedly dialled Salunkhe
ACP sir ( panicked ): Salunkhe tu jaldi se aaja Abhijeet ko bukhar hai
Salunkhe ( in consoling tone): haan ACP tum shant ho jao mai abhi aa raha and he cut the after around 15 minutes salunkhe arrived and rang the door bell
Rajni opened the door and became surprised to see him
Salunkhe ( worried ): bhabhi Abhii kaisa hai
Rajni ( teasingly): usse itna bukhar hai aap soch bhi nahi sakte bhaisahab salunkhe got confused rehne dijiye jakar dekh lijiye usko nahi to apke dost mujhe chodenge nahi both came inside the room
ACP sir ( worried ): salunkhe achha hua tu aagaya isko bukhar hai aur yeh ro bhi raha tha dekh na usko
Salunkhe nodded and put thermometer in his mouth and became really shocked to see the temperature
Salunkhe ( dramatically ): dekh ACP isko kitna bukhar hai normal body temperature se pura 0.5 degree zyada
Rajni was having hard time to control her laughter
ACP sir : kya ! really shocked
Rajni ( teasingly): yehi to mai aapko samjhane ki koshish kar rahi hoon tabse vo theek hai usko kuch nahi hua hai .
ACP sir ( lovingly placed him in his lap ): to phir bachhe aap ro kyu rahe the
Abhijeet ( innocently): vo papa aapne bola tha na aap 10 din baad aaoge isliye
Rajni and salunkhe burst out in laughter listening the reason of his crying but tears fell from ACP's eyes .
ACP sir ( teary smiled ): mera bachha mujhse itna pyar karta hai vo papa ko bahut miss karega na !
Abhijeet innocently nodded and wiped his tears and hid his face more inside his chest
ACP sir ( placed hand on his head) : to phir papa nahi jayenge bachhe kunki aapse important mere liye kuch nahi hai pulling his cheeks lightly
Abhijeet smiled really broadly and hugged him very tightly ACP tightened his grip on him and kissed his hairs very lovingly both salunkhe and Rajni smiled seeing them .
Flash back over
Both Rahul and Rajni were seeing each other with a teary smile on their lips .
