"Umm Julia?" Raul knocked at their door and Hilary opened,
"Yeah?" Hilary peeped from the door before opening and Raul stood somewhat clueless and innocent, holding a large box wrapped in pink colored shining paper.
"What is it?" Hilary took the box,
"Someone came and said it's for Julia," Raul shrugged but nonetheless walked off.
Julia badly puckered and looked at Hilary who was grinning ear to ear,
"Its for you," Hilary said and kept the box on the bed. Julia frantically got up and gulped and opened the box.
Hilary was patiently and coolly waiting to see what was there in the box, and it revealed...
"Woah!" Hilary laughed heartily, while Julia gasped and blushed in embarrassment and shock,
"These many lipsticks?!" Hilary dramatically bet her fists playfully on the comfort and laughed out, "Who bought this!"
Julia's shivering hands touched the brand new lipsticks of all sorts of all brands and they were all of lighter shades. No RED, at all. All were rose pink, summer orange, coquette pink, serenade pink, coral pink, hot pink, flamingo pink, lemonade pink and others and so many, but there was no dark shade at all.
"Damn, he's so besotted and whipped after you; if you will say, he will bring sexy corsets too for you!" Hilary busted in another laughter and fell on the bed.
Julia gulped, shocked, and she was blushing deeper than those shades of lipsticks now.
Julia's phone vibrated and Hilary immediately took it before Julia would,
"AWW! Its a message from him. He is asking if you liked his lil present?" Hilary read her phone screen. Julia's fury came, mainly because Hilary was making fun and she thought to snap at him saying that why he had to send her THESE MANY lipsticks for her!
She stomped to snatch her phone from Hilary but Hilary was quick to escape and ran away,
"Wait, I will reply," Hilary teased,
"No you won't!" Julia yelled, horrified,
"Darling, I loved these, one of the shade is just like your sexy hair," Hilary laughed saying as she texted it, except that she actually didn't texted the word 'sexy'.
"Hilary, what the fuck!" Julia screamed but Hilary kept on running all round the room, escaping Julia and texting Tala,
"Fuck? Seriously, shall I text him? With or without any of those lipsticks?" Hilary chortled lively and jumped on the bed,
"Hilary, please, please give me that phone," Julia pleaded, and it was hilarious.
"No, but tell shall I text that to him?" Hilary asked playfully,
"Argh please!" Julia climbed on bed but Hilary jumped off and ran away,
"When you will put those lipsticks and look at Tala," Hilary giggled mirthfully "Tala be like 'Oh love, your kiss is deadly, hooked on your lips!' " Hilary sang playfully and laughed while Julia blushed uncontrollably, licking her dry mouth. "Hilart stop it dude!" Julia shouted,
"He texted thank you, with ten red hearts and hugs!" Hilary simpered and looked at Julia who was badly scowling by now.
"I'm sending one big heart too, and..." Hilary licked her lip and typed, "You're sweet. Thanks again," I typed that. Julia screamed angrily and ran towards Hilary speedily and Hilary froze at her speed and ran towards the door which opened and Hilary crashed against a worried and confused Raul, the phone slipping in the process. Raul took Julia's phone,
"What's up here?" Raul asked and entered inside.
Raul was gripping the phone tightly so Hilary couldn't have taken it back. She followed him as he came inside the room.
"What's going on?" he stared at Julia perplexed as she was covered in an angry mood with big scowl.
"Nothing! Give my phone," Julia barked. Raul's eyes fell on the screen suspiciously and he read all the texts with a big open mouth, wide eyed, scarlet traces on his cheeks, befuddled, amused and humored. Hilary just fell on the ground with more laughter, coming down to giggles.
Julia snatched her phone but the damage was done, Raul had seen everything already. His eyes fell on the bundle of lipsticks splayed on the bed and he was completely shocked, all sorts of emotions coming to him.
"Look, those replies... those were send by Hilary! Nothing is going on between me and Tala!" Julia said in defense in her loud voice while her heart shuddered.
"Its called Karma... remember Zane?" Hilary interjected, while Raul smirked, Julia felt murderous.
"Oh, so this guy's name is Tala?" Raul asked playfully, "So nice, why don't you ask him to send us breakfast each morning, we can sleep late," Raul suggested, Hilary's effect casted on him.
"Ask Zane to do that," Julia snapped,
"She will do, of course. Not only that, she will feed me too if I wish it," Raul said confidently, expressing and saying things his heart out in front of Julia which he could not do these days seeing her anger on Zane, but now, Julia was on the same boat, with Tala!
"Shit with you," Julia barked, more angry,
"Oh please, don't say anything about Zane. I've not cursed Tala yet, you wouldn't want me to do that," Raul threw his hands in air, the siblings coming closer and shouting and Hilary was the silent and nervous spectator by this moment,
"You will curse him?" Julia yelled.
"I will, if you curse Zane," Raul snickered, but he was lying, because he had no intentions in insulting his soon to be brother in law even if Julia didn't like Zane, but for now, he had to protect her, "You kept on disliking Zane, and there," Raul pointed a finger away, "At college, you are too after a guy, how unfair of you Julia," Raul said indignantly. Julia twisted her lips but didn't say anything, he was right. On this part, she was unfair with him,
"FINE!" Julia gave up and sighed harshly and loudly, "No comments on Tala, and I won't interfere with you and Zane!" Julia said awfully, optionless this moment. Raul sneered, "Better!"
"Guys, just chill." Hilary said a little nervously, eyeing both of them,
"You just wait," Julia shot darkly, and Hilary almost flinched.
"By the way, is he hot?" Raul smirked and Julia groaned, flushed. "With the amounts of lipsticks he has send today, he seems to be under your spell. He will get diamonds also from anywhere if you ask," Raul commented, and Julia stared at him with irk and annoyance.
"That's what I almost said," Hilary interrupted with a playful smile.
"Argh, enough!" Julia almost took the lipsticks to throw away now in anger and Raul and Hilary understood the seriousness of the situation. They ran to her and held and stopped, "Hey hey, calm down. We were just having fun. Sorry Julia, I'm sorry," Hilary's eyes almost shivered in fear,
"Jules, calm down, I'm sorry, I won't tease you!" Raul appeased. Julia took a heavy inhale with the still scowl, and relaxed. They left her.
"YOU TWO!" Julia pointed her finger sharply at them, "WILL never ever comment on Tala or my feelings about him! NEVER EVER, got me!" She yelled disastrously.
"Okay," They nodded quickly, while Hilary felt not to agree at this slightly.
She huffed a sigh and thumped on the bed, still not recovered from her bad mood while the other two occupants just stared at her blankly,
"She's in bad mood, you go. I will handle her," Hilary whisperer to Raul, who stood deaf, and stared stark at his sister,
"Julia, why don't you try that lipstick," He picked up a creamy pink and coral pink lipstick and showed her with a soft smile.
Julia dully looked at him, her gaze travelling to his fingers holding those lipsticks. How new and cool they were...wow.
She gave a sarcastic grin and looked away.
"C'mon, you can't be angry with your beloved brother," Raul smirked lightly and walked to her, cupping her face and making her look to him, "Just try these, or else... I might give these to Zane." He giggled while Julia looked at him suddenly with a glare.
"Just kidding" he smiled while Hilary was excited to watch the siblings' soft sides. Raul smiled, "Go, try this. I'm sure you rock. Send the selfie to Tala," Raul suggested excitedly. Julia slightly reddened but she shook her head, stood up and took the coral shade and walked towards the mirror and, plucked the lid, and stroked the brand new smooth surface to her dry lips. She examined the shade and somewhat it was looking just fine. She pressed the lips to allow the substance to uniformly spread and looked at them.
They were grinning widely at her.
"Its perfect!" Hilary exclaimed and took her phone to take her picture,
"No wait, Hils," Julia said, and took her own phone,
"Let her take," Raul suggested to Hilary to which she nodded and kept her phone aside. Hilary's phone buzzed with vibration and she saw there was a message for her. She ignored for now.
Julia clicked a picture for herself with a wink and biting her inner lower lip, overall looking just super sweet, and stunning.
She nervously send it to Tala.
"I'm sure he will like it," Raul smiled, "How couldn't he anyways..."
"Hey, let's try lipsticks tonight, all colors," Hilary suggested, faintly clapping her palms excitedly.
"Nope, these are mine, ALL," Julia smirked victoriously and took all the bundles of lipsticks and glosses and placed in her cabinet's locker. Hilary just stood wide eyed, defeated,
"Ah," Hilary pretentiously winced, "My best friend abandoned me for her lover,"
"Not yet," Julia coughed and beckoned Hilary to take her phone. Hilary suspiciously took her phone and looked at Julia.
"What's happening?" Raul asked, as he stood beside Hilary and peeped on her phone's screen.
Julia send her a picture. Hilary opened and Raul was a little impatient to see what her sister has send.
"Oh shit!" Hilary was alarmed to see a legendary picture of her in library with Senior president, snuggled against each other in their warm siesta of hot afternoon. Raul gasped and stared at Hilary perplexed and amused,
"Oh my dear yet another sister, you gave me an another brother in law too," Raul sang flamboyantly and controlled his blasting amusement, Hilary gawked at him,
"Fuck! Brother in law?" Hilary blanched, "Don't kid 'round, Raul. Go and sleep!" Hilary snapped and pushed him out while Raul was so uncontrollably shaking in laughter.
"Oh well, I think he's right," Julia looked at Hilary and winked while her lips showed an another shade of flamingo pink.
"No, he's not," Hilary seethed and thumped on bed angrily, and took her phone to delete that picture with her jabbing fingers.
"Now I've to spend the entire night thinking which of my brother in laws is more hotter, but anyway neither of them are as cool as me!" Raul giggled but was already walking downstairs. Hilary heard him,
Hilary opened an unread message on phone,
'Hm, okay.' He replied back. She remembered now then, that she had asked him for biology question papers,
"Oh, Julie," Hilary said,
"Hm?" Julia was trying an another shade,
"You were studying biology just few minutes back," Hilary reminded. Julia stopped and thought. "Oh yes!"
She placed back the lipstick and sat back to continue what she originally started, which was biology and not lipstick-logy.
Hilary cleared her head and that comment of Raul... of brother in law was hugely pestering her and she was refraining so hard from imagining what he said. Suddenly a picture flashed in her mind of she walking down the aisle of church and he was standing there with a smirk triumphantly, and the priest was holding some contract papers probably which got mixed and exchanged and were some biology papers instead.
She groaned and came back to reality. Punching her own head, she took out her biology reader and started binging upon it so arduously.
Silence passed for few hours till it was late eleven o'clock and the only monotonous spinning of fan and crickets whispering could be heard with occasional turning of pages.
"Its enough for today," Hilary closed her book and kept it in her bag. She pressed her tomorrow's outfit, choosing a fushcia pink cape top with black jeans. Hanging it on hanger, she headed to pack her bag and once again check the updates of record which Kai did. It were all correctly entered and she wondered why she wasted time in re-checking it. Not finding much to do, she washed her clothes' of previous week while Julia continued at her desk, unflinched and undisturbed.
'She seems so serious,'
Hilary thought while she spun the clothes and later dried them. She clipped the clothes on plastic ropes tied in balcony and was beat tired.
"I'm done, shall we sleep now?" Julia asked with a yawn and proceeded to pack her bag for tomorrow. Somehow their evenings were tiring and dull.
"Sure!" Hilary said and lied flat on the bed.
"Hils, get up. Clean it first." Julia said and Hilary got up quickly and brushed the bed clean.
"Oh god, I've to spin my clothes too," Julia sighed and made a mental note to spin her clothes tomorrow.
"Sure, let's do that tomorrow," Hilary suggested and lied on the bed, taking her phone, while Julia switched off the lights.
"Stop that, and sleep," Julia ogled at her while Hilary had a serene excited smile on her face,
"Nah I can't leave this. Songs are my daily caffeine," Hilary said as she plugged her earphones and closed her eyes, some deep feels entering her veins.
"Thank God, you're a girl. A guy version of you would be more dangerous and disastrous," Julia giggled and turned to sleep.
Minutes passed, and she kept on switching songs, missing the old ones, enjoying the new ones, and reminiscing the old joyous carefree times.
"God, so nice..."She whispered dreamily. Later that night, her battery died and she woke blearily to charge her phone, and trying to sleep again. It was three. The clock was doing its job so honestly.
She walked to the balcony yawning with bleary and groggy eyes, and watched the silent streets and enjoying the cold breeze. Her night-worn-groggy face was still shining in her elegant light-skin-tone. Even her messed up brunette locks were curled up cutely. The balcony was her favorite place right now. The garnet red sky with candy red shades was so heavenly to witness, she had to re-check the time. She stared happily at the sky and the street lights glowing dimly, the old streets so deserted with no bikes swishing or few people walking.
At the same time, few miles away, someone similarly was standing in his balcony, wide eyed filled with beating drowsiness, staring at the sky and yawning, reasonlessly standing and gulping the breezes. However he headed back to his king sized fluffy bed soon and slept, the president knowing that there is a long day awaiting ahead for him and goofing around in middle of night is not so descent.
Here, Hilary was wondering if there was anyone else in this new town doing the same what she was- staring at the inviting sky unavoidably and smiling silly.
To that probably never existing person who's doing the same what I'm, Hi, I hope you find me and we do this same one day, staring at the more sexier shade of sky in midnight together.
Kai switched off the lights and had a hard time for minutes, getting back to sleep. He was flipping sides, eyes tight shut, wanting to just wake up and stare at that sky or run in the empty streets of this beautiful night. Why was this night becoming so special, stupidly?
He thought and shrugged and sighed deeply, shuddering at the thought why he was not getting his sleep. To the one who has taken away my sleep subconsciously, I will find you and make you sleepless like now, with me.
After good amount of time, she was back to her bed and sleeping with dreams of skies, jumping on clouds, playing flutes, someone chasing her in only a silhouette, unseen, but seeming so familiar, the feeling was cozy.
The next morning she woke up all fresh, super fresh, and took a warm bath and dressed up, while Julia was a tad late. Nonetheless, they managed with breakfast and exiting their house with Raul on time.
The sky felt cold, warm, and so different. Hilary yawned and leaned comfortably and attempted to get a nap, with carefree breezes caressing her face divinely.
She woke up when car stopped to drop Raul and the girls wished him sweet goodbyes. Hilary took her phone and texted her mom,
'Hey, mom. What's up? Looks like you're not missing me at all. Is Fred too enough for you both? Anyway, I didn't miss you too, but you're always in my heart, and dad too. Sending love to him, more than I'm sending you ;P'
She smiled and kept her phone inside.
...
They reached to the institute quickly. They got off and walked in the ground, which seemed like bowing down before them in the beautiful weather of today. Hilary looked stunning in her pink top, her skin-tone enchanting more, and her brown locks tucked uniformly behind her ears, the rest of her hair tied up in a simple high pony tail.
They reached the class which seemed to be engaged in some good pandemonium. There was still ten minutes before their first lecture would start. The boys on the window's row were having rounds of arm wrestling matches, showing off their muscles and giggling to which Julia only smiled stupidly. Hilary blinked and took her seat, Julia got seated beside.
The girls in their row at the backside were chatting excitedly, squealing, probably planning for some outing in the slight-cold-better weather.
Tyson, Zane, Max and Mathilda came to her and stood before her. She ignored and and took her books out,
"Hey, morning President," they smiled warmly at her,
"Hi," She blinked at them, entailing in their intentions.
"We are bunking the next period of Chemistry," They announced cheerily.
"Umm," Julia looked at them, thinking.
"Why? Where?" Hilary questioned.
"I'm going for some shopping, I couldn't do at home-times." Zane said,
"I'm accompanying her," Mathilda said,
"We are going for the new movie," Tyson smirked,
"Avengers Endgame!" Max's eyes shone as he exclaimed,
Hilary nodded, "Well, okay. You can all go. Make sure Hiro doesn't catch you while you leave," Hilary warned,
"Next is lunch, so we get an hour plus. We will return before clubs start," Zane assured,
"Okay," Hilary shrugged and smiled. They left and indulged in their important useless pass time.
Hilary was somehow in a good mood for studying so she was looking at Hiro's notes and turning pages. Next, the class started with a brand new chapter by Hiro. For the first time, Hilary and Julia noted that Tyson was not stoic in his class and was actively participating in the discussions and answering things, surprising them.
"Hilary, you think its better if we keep mock tests like yesterday weakly?" Hiro asked,
Hilary paled, No way!
"I suggest once in a month," She said with guts. Hiro looked at Enrique,
"I suggest the same," Enrique said, inspired by his President.
Hiro nodded, "Okay, one in a month." Hiro said, he was still calm.
"Ah," The class sighed in relaxing mood.
"And as said by Prof. D, no clean ups for first five rounds, and here we have batches for the first five toppers," Hiro smiled and took out the golden batches from a small drawer and read the names, "Tyson, Hilary, Akari, Enrique, Zane, please some here by podium," Hiro announced the names as per the list in order. Hilary was surprised when Zane's name was announced, while Julia narrowed her eyes at Zane. Neither Hilary nor Julia looked at the mark list shet properly and they didn't happen to notice that Zane was also in the first five toppers.
"Hey, congrats," Hilary whispered to Zane and winked. They climbed on podium and stood in a line, taking the batches.
"Congrats Tyson, you've done well. Keep it up," Hiro smiled genuinely at Tyson who didn't budge. There was no scowl or happy smile but just some stoic face, but he eventually gave a small 'thank you' smile.
Hilary smiled, hoping that their issues would solve. Hilary, Akari followed next and then Enrique and Zane. All of them were warmly congratulated and motivated to study well further while the peers clapped for them. Tyson and Akari monetarily exchanged glances. Tyson offered her a smile, congratulating and she nodded, looking a bit confused and warm. Tyson took the opportunity to note her eye color which was turquoise, bewitching. Nonetheless, they parted quickly walked off and sat on their seats. Hilary gave a small smirk to Tyson surreptitiously after noting what just happened which was a little noticeable and of more than of few seconds. Tyson blinked, clueless. Hiro saw everything but he ignored, dismissing the situation which was of less than thirty seconds.
"Well, next time, you all can score like this and claim batches, just a month away you all are," Hiro said and they nodded monotonously.
"President, you've proved you're hardworking," Hiro commented and Hilary flushed when he titled her.
"Thanks," she said coolly.
The class ended after he gave them some homework and Julia sighed, "Hiro sir approved you today," She remarked,
"He did," Hilary showed her tongue and laughed. The next moment, the two toppers, Mathilda and Max, had ducked out of the class carefully and Hilary gave them a nod from her place. Hilary suddenly felt that something was wrong,
"Wait," she got up and yelled at them and the class became somewhat silent,
They stopped and looked at her confused.
"What?" Zane asked,
"You all, quick and get seated," She ordered urgently and they complied. The next second, Hiro came back to class, saying that he forgot his folder.
The four escaping peers looked in shock at both Hiro and Hilary, grateful that they were saved and were on the brink of being caught. Hiro gave register to Hilary, asking her to collect previous papers, jot them down selectively for few chapters in respective manner. Hilary didn't hesitate because the only person came and flew her tensions off was Kai right that moment to whom she would shoot this work with. How easy.
"If you want to add more, take question papers from Kai," Hiro said while Hilary was a tad nervous, but she nodded.
After a minute Hiro was gone and the four run-away students with Tyson in front, crouching low, surreptitiously sloped off.
Mr. Dickinson, arrived next and started some bearable rant of new chapter.
"You saved them," Julia sighed. Hilary sighed too.
"How did you know Hiro was coming back?" Julia asked,
"I didn't know, I just sensed that something was wrong, so I just stopped them," Hilary said. The next moment her phone buzzed, she ignored,
"Congratulations Tyson," Prof D smiled searching for Tyson who was gone,
"Um, sir, he didn't come today," Enrique covered up. Mr. D gave a sad smile,
"Oh its okay," Mr. D said.
"Argh, how selfish and considerate only about the first topper," Hilary hissed lowly,
"He scored full in Chemistry, actually," Julia said. Hilary nodded and thought, Seriously? I just scored 86 percent in that subject, he scored full? Genius he's, hidden Einstein.
"Akari, can you solve this?" Mr. D asked. The girl was calm, and quiet but seemed docile. She nodded and hesitantly walked to the podium, and scribbled something on board and looked at the Professor who nodded and smiled.
"Congrats Akari, you scored second highest in Chemistry," Prof. D said, "Next to Tyson,"
"Oh," Hilary blinked and gawked at the two.
"Thank you, Sir." Akari said softly, her voice a mix of Zane and Julia which Hilary found cute and comical.
"She's nice," Julia commented,
"What?" Hilary looked at Julia with a frown, "What?"
"I'm saying Akari is nice..." Julia said, Hilary blinked, "For Tyson," She smirked, noting down the problem Akari just solved on board,
"Seriously?" Hilary stuttered in utter surprise,
"I saw him staring her at the podium confidently before Hiro, how daring," Julia smiled with hilarity.
"You did?" Hilary was surprised, because she thought only she noted that, but in reality, half of the boys noted that. They had put no ends in teasing Tyson about Akari after that, which Hilary and girls didn't know because those things are secretly done in boys without making girls aware of it in anyway. Tyson was grateful that he escaped all those remarks and went off to movie with Max.
Right now, he was enjoying the movie with Max with excited face, grateful that nothing embarrassing happened in the class that involved Akari or girls and them knowing that the boys were potentially trying and creating some Tyson X Akari ship with efforts and joy.
Everything happened so quick and unexpected after yesterday night when Tyson woke up in midnight, feeling sleepless and randomly scrolled Instagram and followed, and liked Akari's page and pictures. Akari followed him back in the morning. When Max, Zeo had learned that Tyson had followed her in late midnight, they had put no ends in teasing him and making him blush different shades of red; and noting and judging and fighting over which shade of blushing he looked better with Akari!
The girls didn't know any of this happening, except that Hilary just saw him smiling at her in front of Hiro while the batches scene took place.
"Zeoline must be so excited about Tyson if he comes to know this," Hilary smirked,
"Maybe," Julia shrugged.
"Zeo, why Tyson didn't come today?" Prof D asked, and Enrique shivered. Zeo calmly shrugged.
"Its okay. Tell him congratulations from my side,"
Hilary was angry by now. She was the second topper, even she deserved some appreciation,
"I'll deliver your message to him, Sir," Hilary interrupted loudly.
"Oh," the Prof looked at her, "Sure,"
The old man went out and Hilary seethed.
Enrique and Zeo walked to her, calming her, holding her her hands,
"Do I deserve some recognition too?" She shot,
"Yea yea you do!" Zeo said and Enrique sighed.
"Ah Hils cool, chill." Julia pulled abruptly and Hilary thumped on her seat. The boys left.
It was lunch.
Hilary took out her tiffin and stuffed all the noodles in one minute, while Julia ate slowly.
"Go and meet Kai, you look angry. You need some calming down," Julia smirked. Hilary's anger rose.
"You go and show that glossed-lips to Tala, but how sad, he will gorge on you before you could even smile!" Hilary laughed.
"I can go! I WILL go!" Julia stood up determined and fiery. Hilary took a second and blinked, but stood up too.
"Then even I'll go to Kai, I can do that!" Hilary shot and the girls stomped out in corridor. Julia stomped to Dance club where Tala was likely to be there, and Hilary headed to canteen where Kai was likely to be there.
