Chapter Eleven
Elliot saw Noah and two of the neighbors coming out of Olivia's hospital room. He couldn't get over how big he had gotten with Olivia telling him.
He came over to them to introduce himself to Noah and right away he liked Elliot a great deal. "Hello Noah I am Olivia's former partner from years ago. I am going to be visiting your mother."
"I believe mommy is missing you a great deal. She is a little bit tired from the exercises she had to do with her physical therapist." Noah will have said with both the neighbors sitting down to let them chat for a moment.
"Oh boy! I know that feeling Noah. I was in the same situation years ago for when I was shot in the leg and shoulder as well. It was first hard trying to move from the pain and stiffness. How old are you now?" He had to asked any rate.
"I am almost nine and I have been with mommy for almost of of it. I will have to go now with Stabler. Can we talk again sometime soon?" He walked over to his neighbors having to be taking care of him while his mother is in the hospital.
"Sure we can Noah. I will let your mother that I was able to speak with you." He watched them walk away to search for the elevator.
Otherwise Elliot was a nervous wreck with moving inside after knocking on the door.
Olivia opened her eyes to see him. As he comes over to give her a passionate kiss that had sparks to it between the both of them. Once he had broke away to grab a seat with a chair bringing it closer to her bed.
"Hey! What's with the bags?" She asked with her curiosity getting the best of her.
"Oh! This one is your food that I brought for you to eat and the other are gifts that you need to opened one at a time. However I believe you're hungry first with the workout you had with your physical therapist?" He was being coy...
"How the hell did you know about that Elliot?" She asked with using her remote to move up her head and back.
"Noah. I saw him a few moments earlier with the neighbors. He's turned out to be a good looking boy all together."
"It's why I love him a great deal Elliot and I hope he will grow on you as well?" She replied with glee in her tone.
"He already does Olivia. Now eat your food while I watch. I have already eaten at Burger King before coming here to the hospital." As he shifted in his seat with crossing his legs.
Using her other hand she was able to take everything out onto the tray with her favorite with the vanilla milkshake. While had to use her other hand with lifting her injured shoulder to eat.
She eat in silence every once in a while she will laugh at him with the look he was giving her. "So what else did my son have to say? "
"He mostly said that you were missing me a great deal to be right on the mark and smart for the young boy Olivia." Elliot felt slight embarrassed with the statement.
"That he is Elliot all of the time. It's why I love him a great deal." She responded with taking another bite of her cheeseburger and fries still warm.
After sometime she had been studying him with intent wondering just what was on his mind when she finally finished with the last of the fries and milkshake. "What's going on Elliott?"
"There is something I need to give you first before asking the question. I want you to open this if possible."
"Jesus you're all serious now Elliott." She takes the small beautiful box with a red bow on it. She was playing with the ribbon and then with the wrapping paper when she opened the box with a beautiful emerald diamond ring. "OMG! It's just gorgeous. Can I try it on Elliot?"
He was smiling while he was watching her try on the engagement ring since she had no idea why. "IT FITS'S BEAUTIFULLY. Why?"
"Listen I know this is kind a strange to be hearing these words out of my mouth. Olivia will you marry me?"
She had heart flutters in her chest catching her breath. "Is this an engagement ring as with the proposal Elliot?" She couldn't get over it with the ring.
"I know it's hard to answer something like this with being engaged to me and then saying yes to the proposal? Please take your time if possible. However I would like to show you the wedding ring that I brought as well. Go ahead and open the second box.
"I am overwhelmed with all this Elliot. However I will opened the secord box and then I will give you my answer." It didn't take long for her to opened the most beautiful wedding Emerald diamond Opal ring. "Just gorgeous Elliott." As she places the ring onto her finger to fit perfect as well...
"Jesus it looks beautiful on your finger Olivia. Even your friends are going to be jealous."
"I know of one woman is going to be jealous and that is Amanda Rollins who works with us on the team. She recently had a child and has discover an detective friends is in love with her."
"Is it detective Dominick Carisivr ?" He will take the guess with the name.
"How did you know this Elliott?" She continued to stare at the ring on her finger.
"Rumors through the grapevine mostly. Now what is your answer with being anxious Olivia." He will respond with his nervous on edge.
"Of course the answer is yes. I will marry you and all of our baggage of the past." He moved quickly over to her to give another passionate kiss that had her out of breath and in pain slightly as he backed off.
"I am sorry that I had hurt you, Olivia. Now I suggest that you try to sleep with telling all of your friends later about the marriage proposal." He responded with excitement for the first time in such a long time...
