After Jason told everyone to get to work, he gathered Team JADE.
Ember looked at Jason. She saw him in a new light. He wasn't Jason Todd the emotional wreck. He was her leader. She had spent the last two semesters gaining his respect.
"Okay guys. Let's go." Jason said
"Wait." Damian said. "We can help more people if we split up."
"So, you want to split up?" Jason asked.
Ember nodded. She didn't want to split up, but she wanted to prove that she was a Huntress.
"We can save more people that way." Auburn said.
"Fine then." Jason said. "We will split up to cover more ground."
Team CFVY came up.
"So." Coco said. "What can we do to help?"
"We are Splitting up so we can help more people." Auburn said.
"I'll come with you."
"No. Not that I don't enjoy our time together Coco, but we need to help as many people as possible."
"What if you need back up though?"
"I'll be fine Coco."
"But..."
Auburn walked up to Coco and kissed her on the lips. "I'll be fine Coco. I promise."
Ember blushed but hoped that she could hide it from the others.
Coco looked at Auburn. "Don't die then."
"I won't." Auburn said before looking at Damian.
She walked over to Damian and took 'Crimson Storm' from her back and handed it to him. "Your debt to me has been repaid. You have shown that you have changed and won't be the same jack ass who embarrassed me last semester."
Damian took 'Crimson Storm' back and nodded at Auburn. "I won't disappoint you." He said sincerely.
Auburn looked from Damian to Jason.
Jason nodded at Auburn before she took off to help as many people as she could.
Damian looked over at Jason before putting 'Crimson Storm' on his back.
"Are you good?" Jason asked.
"Yeah." Damian said. "Go and do whatever an Alpha does."
Jason nodded and ran out the south entrance of the arena leaving an indent in the ground.
Damian took off out the west entrance.
Ember ran out the north entrance.
You fascinated me
Ember ran through Beacon making sure that everyone was clear.
Cloaked in shadows and secrecy
She would stop to help those who needed her help, but she was methodic in her searching getting everyone to the airships.
The beauty of a broken angel
She would kill any Grimm that would get in her way and would fight the White Fang who were attacking humans. 'Why am I so calm? Why am I so calm killing?"
I ventured carefully
A group of White Fang ran at her.
Afraid of what you thought I'd be
Ember grabbed 'Kingfish', Viridian had suggested the name change, and she shot water and lightning dust at the White Fang. The Water and Lightning hit the White Fang electrocuting them.
But pretty soon I was entangled
"Stay down!" Ember snarled.
You take me by the hand
One of the White Fang members got up and glared at her.
I question who I am
Ember stared up in horror. He was bigger than Scott or Jason.
Teach me how to fight
The White Fang member raised a weapon. It was a giant Chainsaw.
I'll show you how to win
Ember froze. How did she fight this?
You're my mortal flaw
The Chainsaw came down...
And I'm your fatal sin
... Onto a second giant Chainsaw.
Let me feel the sting
Ember looked up to see... "Jason!" She said before seeing the streaks on his face made by soot sticking to his tears. "What's wrong?"
The pain
"Auburn. She's gone."
The burn
Ember felt like she had been kicked in the gut. "Why? How?"
Under my skin
"She was killed by a Death Stalker."
Put me to the test
Ember wanted to curl up and cry.
I'll prove that I'm strong
"We can mourn later, but now we have to fight."
Won't let myself believe
Ember wiped her face on her arm and nodded. "Right. Don't you die on me, you hear me?"
That what we feel is wrong
"Same goes for you."
I finally see what
Ember nodded and ran off. Her resolve had been solidified. She would fight for Auburn.
You knew was inside me
An Ursa jumped out of the smoke and lunged at Ember.
All along
Ember stabbed it with 'Kingfish' and activated the lightning/water Dust killing it instantly. 'Die.' She seethed.
That behind this soft exterior
A Beowulf slashed at her side.
Lies a warrior
Ember swung 'Kingfish' at the Beowulf hitting its head before spinning it and running it through. 'DIE!'
My memory refused
Another Ursa charged her.
To separate the lies from truth
Ember shot it with Water and lightning Dust.
And search the past
The Dust faded out leaving Ember with only 'Kingfish'.
My mind created
"Damn." Ember swore, panting heavily.
I kept on pushing through
A wave of energy flowed over her and she felt rejuvenated. She continued fighting.
Standing resolute which you
A White Fang member ran at her.
In equal measure
Ember stabbed them with 'Kingfish' and pushed them to the floor. "Does it hurt?" She asked with blood thirst in her voice.
Loved and hated
The White Fang member nodded and coughed up blood.
You take me by the hand
"Good!" Ember snarled. "That's for my school!" She twisted 'Kingfish'. "And that's for my friends."
I'm seeing who I am
She ran to the side and lost the contents of her stomach. 'Did I really just do that?'
Teach me how to fight
She wiped her mouth on the back of her hand and got up.
I'll show you how to win
She grabbed 'Kingfish' and continued walking through the man-made hell.
You're my mortal flaw
More White Fang members tried attacking her, but she wouldn't die yet.
And I'm your fatal sin
She was next to the clock tower when she saw a locker fly by. She also saw a woman flying.
Let me feel the sting
Cinder walked out of the Vault and used her newfound Maiden powers to get to the clock tower.
The pain
Ember watched the woman in the sky and watched where she landed, the clock tower, she had to get there. She took off running. It wasn't that far away, and she could get there quickly.
The burn
Cinder landed outside Ozpin's office and looked inside.
Under my skin
Ember looked up the spiral staircase and began running. 'Have to get to the top.'
Put me to the test
Cinder Walked into Ozpin's office and looked around. 'Cozy. If I wasn't going to destroy it, I might actually want it.'
I'll prove that I'm strong
Ember ran up the stairs to the Headmasters office. She felt tired, but at the same time she was fueled by the thought of Cinder hurting anyone else.
Won't let myself believe
Cinder clenched her fists as she felt the power radiating through her body. The feeling of power coursing through her veins was so intoxicating, so arousing. Why would they deny her this power?
That what we feel is wrong
Ember ran into the top of the clock tower and saw her. The woman that was responsible for this. How she hated the woman with every fiber of her being. She suddenly got a boost, and it felt like her gut was on fire.
I finally see what
Cinder was looking out the window where she saw the giant Grimm dragon fly towards her. 'Yes. Come to me."
You knew was inside me
Ember saw Cinder. Rage fueled her body. "CINDER!" She yelled.
All along
Cinder turned around to look at the girl who had called her name. "Yes?" She asked.
That behind this soft exterior
Ember stared at Cinder breathing heavily.
Lies a warrior
"Are you going to try and kill me?" Cinder asked in her acidic sweet voice.

Ember thrust 'Kingfish' at Cinder out of rage.

Cinder dodged the first thrust of the spear. 'Who does she think she's fooling? There is no way she can beat me.'
I'm sure of who I am
Ember kept thrusting 'Kingfish' at Cinder. It was the best she could do since she was out of water and lightning dust. She began sweating as she realized her attacks were futile, but she wouldn't, no couldn't, stop. Cinder had to be stopped.
Teach me how to fight
Cinder mentally yawned as she fought Ember. The girl was too easy to predict.
I'll show you how to win
Ember was getting annoyed. Why wasn't she able to hit Cinder.

Cinder twirled out of Embers path smirking at the other girl's frustration.
And I'm your fatal sin
Ember thrust 'Kingfish' at Cinder again hoping to at least hit her.
Let me feel the sting
Cinder grabbed 'Kingfish' and pulled it from Embers hands.
The pain
Ember took out 'Cold Flame' and swung at Cinder.
The burn
Cinder weaved out of Embers way as if she were floating on the wind.
Under my skin
Ember swung at Cinder. 'Why can't I hit her?'
Put me to the test
Cinder ducked the 'Cold Flame' and floated away before landing and throwing a fire ball at Ember.
I'll prove that I'm strong
Ember ducked before jumping backwards.
Won't let myself believe
Cinder created a fire ball and threw it at Ember hoping to drive her back. While she wasn't afraid of Ember, she was getting annoyed of her persistence.
That what we feel is wrong
Ember ran towards Cinder hoping to get a decent hit on her.
I finally see what
Cinder swung her twin glass swords at Ember feebly in an attempt to lull Ember into a false sense of victory.
You knew was inside me
Ember hit Cinder with what sounded like a solid hit knocking Cinder to the floor.
All along
Cinder fell to the floor feigning weakness. Why be all powerful if you couldn't use it to your advantage?
That behind this soft exterior
Ember raised 'Clod Flame' ready you strike Cinder.
Lies a warrior
Cinder smirked as she cut Embers arms and legs leaving burning cuts on her skin.
Ohhhh
Ember's strength left. She had no strength to hold 'Cold Flame' and it dropped from her hands.
The pictures come to life
Cinder aimed an arrow at Ember and walked around her. "You should feel honored. You have the honor of dying at my hands."
Wake in the dead of night
"You know." Ember said panting. She knew that she had lost, but if she could stall. Maybe Jason could get to her. "I feel sorry for you."
Open my eyes
"Why's that?" Cinder asked.
I must be dreaming
"My friends will come for you. They will hunt you down. And they will end you."
Clutch my pillow tight
Cinder glared at Ember before she pulled the arrow back and loosed it.
Brace myself for the fight
Ember fell to her knees with a crack as the arrow pierced her stomach.
I've heard that seeing
Cinder touched a hand to Embers forehead causing her to disappear into ashes.
Is believing
The last thing Ember Heard was Pyrrha scream. "NO!"
There was a crash as Jason and Geoff landed on the floor.
Jason looked around and saw the 'Cold Flame', but no Ember. "Ember!" He called out. "Ember where are you?"
"I'm afraid that she's dead." Cinder said without a care for what she had done.
"Jason." Pyrrha said. "She turned to ash."
Jason glared at Cinder. "Did you Kill Ember?"
"Yes. I killed her."
"Why!"
"She was in my way."
'The eighth seal has broken.' The Alpha said to himself.
"You're a monster!" Pyrrha shouted.
"No." Cinder sighed. "I'm a Maiden."
"No, you're not!" Jaune yelled. "You're half a Maiden."
"That's right. I guess I'll have to kill your girlfriend for her half of the Maiden powers." Cinder said running at Pyrrha.
Jaune pushed Pyrrha behind him and held his shield up to protect her, but there was no impact.
Jason ran at Cinder and kicked her into the wall.
Jason picked Cinder up and threw her across the room. "Do you really only see people's lives as means to an end!?"
"What did people ever do for me?" Cinder spat. "Why should I care for another living person who is weaker than me!"
"Ember..." Jason curb stomped Cinder.
"Wasn't..." He kicked her against a pillar.
"Weaker..." He grabbed her throat and crushed her windpipe in his hand.
"Than..." He slammed her into the ground.
"You..." He threw her across the room.
Pyrrha walked up to Jason and put her hand on his arm. "I'm sorry Jason. We got here too late. It's our fault Ember..."
"NO!" Jason said. "It's not your fault. It's hers." He said pointing at Cinder.
Cinder got up and brushed herself off.
"Um... guys." Geoff said. "She's getting up.
"How could she get up after that?" Jaune asked. "Jason is the strongest person at beacon. He kicked the crap out of Scott in a full-on rage. Scott! How could she just get up after that?"
"You foolish boy." Cinder smirked. "I am stronger than any of you now. I could take all four of you and still come out on top."
"Prove it!" Jason yelled jumping to kick her.
Cinder dodged out of the way and threw fire at Jason.
"JASON!" The others shouted.
Jason let the fire burn. This was his punishment for letting his Team die. He let the pain consume him and drive him. He grabbed Cinder by the throat and threw her towards Pyrrha.
Pyrrha punched Cinder back towards Jason and used her Semblance to pull the gears of the massive Clock tower around Cinder hoping to crush her.
Cinder blew the gear cage apart and threw the gears in every direction.
Geoff tried to dodge out of the way but was hit in the chest with one of the giant gears and fell unconscious.
Pyrrha pushed Jaune out of the way of one of the gears and used her semblance to throw the other one away from herself.
Jason punched the gear away from himself and felt the bones in his arm break. His arm fell limp by his side, but he kept walking towards Cinder.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE!" Cinder yelled at Jason.
"Because I refuse to die while there are people like you around to screw it over."
"DIE!" Cinder yelled lighting Jason on fire.
Jason walked through the flames and grabbed Cinder by the throat.
"This is for Ember!" He Slammed her into the ground hard enough to crack the floor.
"JASON!" Pyrrha yelled. "You're going to destroy the clock tower!"
Jason was in too much pain and rage that he didn't hear Pyrrha. "This is for Damian!" He threw her into the air and grabbed her leg before slamming her into the ground again.
The floor began to branch out in a spider web crack.
"JASON!" Pyrrha and Jaune yelled.
"And THIS IS FOR AUBURN!" Jason yelled swinging Cinder's body out of the Clocktower towards a giant dragon Grimm.
The top floor of the Clocktower cracked and the four Hunters fell through the floor.
The last thing Jason heard, and saw was a blinding flash of light and Ruby yell. "NNOOO!"
