Chapter 11: Fly

Johnny and I quickly go on the elevator hoping it moves fast enough, I'm surprised I haven't flicker or go back to "Phantom mode", I guess I'm really back be myself, whatever the machine did fuck me up first but also helped me...or maybe Johnny did, we are both worried about what we will find up there, but I also can't stop staring at him in the elevator, the way he speak to me and all just a moment ago...maybe I was too fast to judge he hasn't change.

Then again why should we change completely who we are when we grow up? I don't think there is nothing wrong that he remains a little cocky and goofy like he was back in the day if he still can think and say things like the ones he told me on the park.

"I know I'm hot but we should focus Silverman" - said Johnny snapping me out of my thoughts and seems like we are back to our regular

"Don't flatter yourself too much Storm" - I said and we both smirk at each other

The elevator finally arrives to the lab and when the doors open we see smoke billows, windows shattered and the whole place is wrecked, we run inside and also see Sue and Reed on the ground.

"Sue!" - Calls out Johnny going to her as I go to help Richards - "I'm sorry for leaving you guys" - he apologizes to her

"No, I'm sorry for pushing you out" - said Sue to him

"What happened?" - I ask inspecting Reed

"Doom..." - grunted Reed while he slowly sits up with my help - "...he used the machine...and attack us...he was affected by the storm as well" - he explained

"He tricked me" - said a voice and I turn to see a pile of wreckage shift that starts moving until Ben comes out of it but it's like Ben-Ben he is not Ben-Thing anymore - "he used to make me normal again but power up himself as well" - he added

"Holy shit Ben" - I say getting close to help and then realize his pants are on his ankles as they are too big on him and he is naked...well hello Mr. Grimm - "Not that I don't enjoy the view, but think you should cover up" - I tease with a smirk pointing at his dick

"Fuck sorry" - said Ben quickly pulling his pants up and holding the with his hands so they don't fall again

"So...Doom evilness has taken new highs and he is a supervillain or something now? For some reason I'm not surprised at all" - I confess to them

"With a name like "Von Doom" I think everybody saw that one coming" - added Johnny to my input

"Emmet, you are back to normal" - said Sue pointing at me realizing as she is holding on to her brother for support standing up

"Doom also used the machine on me" - I confess and the 3 people we just found in the wrecked lab look at me surprised - "first it kind of made me flicker but somehow...and with some help" - I say looking at Johnny who smiled - "I could get back to normal and control it" - I explain turning to look at Ben and help him out the pile as he put hand on my shoulder for support while his other hand hold his pants

"Putting aside that Doom just screw all of us, I'm kinda glad that me and Emmet are back to normal" - said Ben

"But what do we do about the fact that he just walked out of here without any care to hurt us and that he is powerful now?" - asked Sue

"We should stop him" - said Reed

"Are you tripping Richards? We are not superheroes" - I say to him

"But he see us as a treat that is why he attack us" - said Reed - "besides he told us "3 down, 1 more to go" or at least that's what I heard" - he explained

"And since he may think Emmet is fuck too, that means me..." - said Johnny - "I'm with Reed, I think we should do something" - he added

"Of course the guy who enlisted and got shot wants to play hero, not surprise about that" - I said crossing my arms looking at him

"We should really think about it guys" - said Sue - "besides there are other people that take care of those sort of things, we should cal-" - she started to say before she got interrupted by a loud sound like some kind of explosion

We all run towards the balcony of to the floor to see what happened thinking that is Doom doing some sort of destruction but we don't see any fire or sign of an explosion, but we do see something with a light flickering at the distance and we realize that is a missile coming our way, Johnny suddenly flame on his hand and shoots a ball elsewhere and the missile shift direction until the flame is off and shift back to us

"Great, heat-seeker" - said Johnny sounding scared but not for him, then he looks down at the hundreds of feet above the street and turns back to me

"Storm, don't do it" - I say realizing what he must be thinking but he doesn't listen and steps up the edge of the balcony

"What are you doing?" - asked Sue exasperated seeing what her brother is doing

"Sis, let me take care of you for once" - said Johnny

"But Johnny you can't fly, you need to think about it" - said Sue

"I never think" - said Johnny before diving off the edge

"JOHNNY" - I call out trying to reach him before he dives but I'm too late

We all look down as he is free falling and the missile follows his arc, his clothes burn off as he tries to activate his powers but he keeps falling lower and just when we all call for him thinking he is gonna smash on the ground, he flames on and swoops up flying as we all watch him fly away in awe but the missile is still following him.

"We need to call Nick Fury and tell him about Doom" - said Sue finishing the idea she was trying to say before

"That's a good idea, you guys do that, I will go and help Johnny" - I said stepping on the edge of the balcony

"Emmet not you too..." – complained Sue

"Unlike your stupid fearless brother that took a leap of faith, I do can fly or float" - I state - "besides he needs help and I wanna help him, after all..." - I say turning to trying to find Johnny and the missile until my eyes land on both - "...he help me too" - I say

Then I feel it some kind of energy goes around my hips and expands going up and down my body until I'm Phantom again but this time is at will and I will help Johnny.

"Emmet, where did you go?" - asked Reed

"I'm here, go and call Nick Fury, I'm going to help Johnny" - I said before floating up and fly right to the direction I last saw Johnny hoping to catch up

Johnny was going in zigzag all around the city trying to avoid the missile that took every twist and turn gaining on him while people look up pointing at the sight either scared or amazed, lucky for me I have practice enough to gain control on my powers to go through people as well without possessing their bodies, so I could take some shortcuts going through buildings to catch up with Johnny quickly enough.

Johnny jets over the water with the missile getting close by, I see him throw a fireball at a garbage barge that is floating ahead of him, the flames ignite and spread quickly, he looks back towards the flaming barge and is fucking genius because the missile will hit the barge instead of him as it registers its heat.

The missile seems like it's gonna hit the barge but it doesn't and keeps following Johnny more closer, so I think fast evoking the green energy in my hands and I quickly point them both to the missile shooting the energy blast hitting it making the missile explode before it could hit Johnny, but the throws Johnny into the water.

"JOHNNY" - I call out flying to the water

I float right above where he falls and turn myself back to flesh falling in the water, is dark and is hard to see inside of it but I manage to see Johnny so I swim to where he is and grab him to help him go up until we are out and can breathe fresh air...well not that fresh with the smell of burn smoke and trash, Johnny is coughing a little bit as we get out and I hold him with all my strength so he doesn't go down.

"You are ok, we are ok...fuck the water is cold" - I say

"I thought I got it..." - trailed Johnny - "thanks for coming for me" - he said

"Well of course I came for you, you thought we will let you die for us or something?" - I say

"Hello?!" - called out a voice and we turn to see a guy in a boat - "are you two okay?" - He asked - "hey! You are Johnny Storm, one of the Fantastic Four" - he said excited

"Yeah, look we kind of just got away from some...problem" - explained Johnny - "do you think you can give us a lift to the shore? Our powers don't work in water" - added

"Sure" - said the guy moving the boat closer to help us get inside and I was shivering from the cold, I didn't miss this sensation from all the sensations I lost when I was in Phantom form before - "here, I got a towel" - he said handling Johnny one as he was between the guy and me

"Thanks man, really appreciated" - said Johnny as he put the towel around himself

"You-u...s-s-selfish...f-f-fuck" - I say trying to complain while shivering seeing he is using the towel on himself but then he came close to me wrapping his arms and the towel around both of us, I feel a little embarrassed about my bad assumption but holy fuck...his body heat feels like heaven more in the state I am so I wrap my arms around him and bury my head on his shoulder trying to get as much heat as I can

"You save me and I don't want you to die from hypothermia or something because I like you, so I'm gonna share my body heat to save you now" - explained Johnny

"You...and...your fucking...hero complex Storm" - I say talking a little more properly since I felt less cold and he chuckles while pulling me even closer if that is possible making me snuggle against him

Boat Guy - Played by Jamie Bell

A/N: Out little Danny Phan-...I mean Emmet Phantom seems to be doing just well with his powers! Yay! But Doom have lost his mind and attacked them...like Johnny and Emmet said kinda predictable lol but what is not predictable is how things are gonna play out next chapter, you guys are in for a nice treat wait until you read it

Also we have another cameo, in this opportunity we have Jamie Bell who played Ben Grimm in the 2015 reboot of the film and let me tell you, Jamie is a bae he could have been a better Johnny than a Ben, no offense to Michael B. Jordan he is hot af and he is a good actor but Johnny felt a little dry on the humour and cocky part even he tried a little, Jamie would have naild that giving his character in the film "Jumper", but anyway...
