Chapter 12
Buffy moaned softly as Angelus's hand slowly went up the back of her shirt, she raised her leg, hooking it over his thigh. He gently rolled them over on his couch so that he was on top of her when his cell phone started to ring. He reluctantly pulled away from their kiss, shaking his head while he whispered. "I'm not answering that."
The blonde smiled at him, shaking her head before she kissed him again. Angelus's phone had stopped ringing, but started up again when he started to trail kisses down Buffy's jaw, to her neck. Her breathing began to quicken with anticipation when she realized that he wasn't stopping at her throat, he travelled even lower to the curves of her breast. This was new territory for her, she had never allowed any of her previous boyfriends to go that far with her, but with Angelus, she wanted him to go further.
Angelus lifted his head with a sigh, reaching into his pocket where he normally kept his cell phone. "No, no, no, no, no." Buffy whispered.
"Maybe they will leave us alone if I answer it." He tried to reason as the phone continued to ring, he patted the other side of his pants to feel if his phone was in the other pocket.
Buffy sighed, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out his phone. "It's been in my way."
"Your way of feeling me up?" He laughed as he took the phone from her right as it stopped ringing.
The blonde pouted with a nod.
"It was Doyle." He checked his missed calls. "Both times." His phone made a ding, notifying him of a new notification. "And now he is texting me."
Buffy sighed again, fidgeting slightly from beneath Angelus.
"Am I hurting you?" He asked, concerned, as he started to move off of her.
The blonde shook her head quickly, not wanting him to move. She could feel his arousal pressed against her thigh and for the first time, she wanted more. "It important?"
Angelus shrugged, looking down at his phone. "He said he is on his way."
Buffy nodded in response, not fully listening to him. Her focus was on what she was feeling, instead of what he was saying. She slipped her hands in his back pockets, gently pushing him closer to her.
Angelus raised his eyebrows in response. Well, Xander did tell him what Buffy had meant when she said book club. He angled his hips, centering himself while Buffy bent both of her legs, cradling him. "Better?"
The blonde bit her lip, nodding.
He tossed his cell phone on the floor, smiling down at her. "Now, where were we?"
"You were just about to hit second base." She reminded him.
Angelus nodded before placing an open mouth kiss to the top of her chest. After a moment, she placed her hand on the back of his head, he glanced up at her face, smiling as he slowly grabbed the hem of her pink shirt, pulling it up just above her chest, revealing a light pink lacy bra. He placed another kiss on her bra covered chest as she began moving her hips against his, his hips responded in kind. Her hands snaked between their bodies, making their way to the button on his shorts, at the same time as Angelus gently pulled her pink bra down, revealing her perfect chest to his hungry eyes. He placed gentle kisses around her nipple before gently taking the pink nipple into his mouth.
"Angelus…" She whispered breathlessly, bringing both her hands to the back of his head to insure he didn't move. "Oh god. Don't stop."
He sucked a little harder just as the front door went swinging open. "I quit!" Came Xander's proud voice.
"Oh shit!" Angelus mumbled, quickly pulling Buffy's shirt back down.
Buffy readjusted her bra the best she could where she was still laying down on the couch as Angelus stood up on his knees to button his pants. Buffy let out a frustrated cry. "Your friends suck."
He gave her an apologetic look, before turning to Xander. "I thought you were working all day?"
"I quit." He repeated, pointing towards the front door. "Didn't you just hear…" He trailed off when Buffy sat up on the couch, running her fingers through her hair as Angelus pulled his t-shirt down further. "Oh, you two…" He pointed at them. "You two were… having book club!"
Buffy shook her head. "We barely got through the introduction."
"In a common area of the house." He realized, pointing at the couch dramatically. "On the couch that I sit on!"
"It's my couch." Angelus reminded him..
"That your mother bought!" Xander reminded him.
Buffy got off the couch quickly, still fixing her hair. "I should go."
"Don't go." Angelus gently grabbed her arm to stop her. "I thought we were going to spend the day together."
"It seems like the fates… or your friends, at least, have other plans." Buffy looked back at him. She really didn't want to leave him, especially not at that exact moment.
He pulled her closer to him as he stepped onto the floor, gently rubbing her arms up and down. "Xander is just going to play video games all day anyway."
Xander shook his head. "Not on that couch!"
Buffy rolled her eyes. "Oh please, we had our clothes on, Xander." She stepped closer to Angelus, whispering so only he could hear her. "Can we go to your room?"
"Yeah." He answered softly with a small smile. He gently took her by the hand, leading her towards the stairs.
Xander scowled at the couch before turning towards the couples retreating forms. "Hey! I was your friend first!"

Buffy giggled as Angelus kissed down her bare stomach, causing a smile to play on his lips. He glanced up at her, meeting her gaze, before his hands went to the waistline of her small shorts. Her breathing became rapid with anticipation as he stripped her shorts down her shapely legs. He ran his hands gently down her thighs, smiling at her light pink panties that matched her lacey bra. He placed feather light kisses just above her panties.
"Wait." Buffy gasped, sitting up slightly. Angelus pulled away from her, sitting on the edge of the bed, confused. "My mom's rules… are kind of… well."
Angelus shook his head, questioningly. "What?"
"My mom's rules when it comes to living in her house and having…" Buffy trailed off.
"Book club?" Angelus filled in with an amused look.
The blonde's mouth dropped open with a surprised smile. "Yeah." She nodded. "Book club. She doesn't really want it to happen."
Angelus nodded. "Okay, that's fine." Respecting her mother's wishes was really hard at the moment, considering how close they were to crossing that line but he really wanted Joyce Summers to like him. He had a feeling that if Joyce didn't like him then he wouldn't see Buffy again from the simple fact of how close the mother and daughter were. Angelus let out a sad sigh as he looked down at Buffy in her matching bra and panties set.
Buffy looked down at his bare chest, she couldn't get over how God-like this man was! She bit her lip with a teasing smile. "You know, just because we can't have book club right now, doesn't mean we can't do other stuff…" She trailed off, moving her hands down to the waistband of his shorts.

Buffy laid with her head resting on Angelus' chest, letting out a sigh. He tilted his head, looking down at her as he gently rubbed her arm. "You okay?"
Buffy nodded softly. "You?"
"Of course." He whispered. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Buffy shrugged. "Was… it okay?"
Angelus tilted his head even more, confused by her question. "What do you mean?"
The blonde shrugged again, she was always comfortable around Angelus but this was uncharted territory for her, something she had only ever talked to Willow and Faith about. "Well… I have never actually…"
Angelus waited for her to continue but she didn't, it took him a moment to realize that she was telling him she had never given oral sex before. "It was amazing." He whispered, leaning down to lightly kiss her lips.
"Good." She whispered, biting her bottom lip.
"And you seemed to…" Angelus didn't get to finish his sentence before she cut him off.
"Oh, I did! I SO did." She replied with large eyes, causing Angelus to chuckle before kissing her again.
She smiled softly, drawing small patterns on his bare chest before she paused. "Wait, what was that text that Doyle sent you?"
Angelus closed his eyes, shaking his head. He was so wrapped up in how he was feeling with Buffy pressed up against him that he didn't even process what Doyle had sent to him. He remembered reading the text but he must not have obtained the information. "I don't know. I left my phone downstairs." He shrugged. "It probably wasn't anything important."
"Let's hope." She smirked at him.
Angelus slid down further onto the bed so that he was level with her. He wrapped his arms more securely around her. "Nothing is more important than you."
The blonde looked at her boyfriend in awe. "That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."
Angelus shrugged. "It's the truth. Meeting you was the best day of my life."
"Oh my gosh!" Buffy hid her face in the dark-haired man's chest. "You are going to make me cry."
"No." He whispered, placing his finger under her chin, he brought her face up to look at his. "I don't ever want you to cry. I do want you to know how important you are to me."
"Are you sure your name is Angelus and not Angel?" She teased quietly. "Cause you are perfect."
Angelus laughed. "I'm far from perfect, but you are."
Buffy blushed as he kissed her again, when they broke the kiss Buffy's eyes remained closed as she whispered, "Yup, you're an angel." She opened her eyes, smiling at him. "My Angel."
"Only yours." He murmured against her lips as he kissed her again. He pulled her closer to him, loving the feel of her skin against hand traveled lower down to her ass, pushing her even closer to him. He knew he was playing with fire considering what Buffy had said about her mother not wanting her to have sex while she was living in her house, but he just couldn't help it. He was addicted to her.
"Ey bro!" Came a loud voice as the bedroom door went swinging open with a loud bang against the wall. "Ya friend told me…" the dark-haired irishman trailed off. "Where ya were, didn't tell me you had a lass wit ya."
"Oh my god!" Buffy gasped with large eyes as she pulled the sheet up over her chest. Thankfully she had been pressed up against Angelus, she didn't think the man could see anything.
"Doyle!" Angelus shouted. "What the hell! What are you doing here?"
Doyle shrugged, throwing his hands up in the air. "I texted ya, told ya I was on my way."
"That might have been important." Buffy mumbled as she slid further down on the bed so the sheet could cover her face as well.
Angelus shut his eyes tightly, letting out a sigh. "I remember you texted me, but I was a little busy."
"Clearly." Doyle smiled.
The dark-haired man laying on the bed motioned towards the door. "Could you leave?"
"You are the one that told me to come here!" Doyle exclaimed. "Happy to take the beautiful Cordelia off your hands."
"The room!" Angelus shouted, still pointing at the door. "Leave the room!"
"Ah." Doyle nodded before turning towards the bedroom door.
Once the door was shut, Angelus looked down at the sheet covered Buffy. He gently pulled the sheet off of her face, and smiled at her. "Sorry about that."
Buffy smiled as Angelus gently ran his knuckles down her cheek, then her face scrunched up in a way that he found adorable. "You don't think he saw anything… right?"
Angelus shook his head. "No, but if he did, I'll kill him."
"So, next time lock the door?" She asked, biting her lip.
Angelus smiled when she said next time. "Lesson learned."
The blonde started to get up from the bed when she paused, looking around the room. "Um, Angel…"
Angelus smiled even wider when he heard what she called him. "Yeah, grá?"
Buffy pouted for a moment, what did he just call her? "Where are my panties?"
He pulled his own boxers on before climbing out of bed to briefly search the floor. He quickly found the pink lacy undergarments, picking them up for her. "Ah, here they are."
"Thank you." She whispered, taking them from her and putting them on slowly.
Angelus watched her finish putting on her panties before grabbing her matching bra. He couldn't help but think how beautiful she was. Walking over to her, he gently wrapped his arms around her bare waist and simply looked into her eyes.
"What?" She questioned, searching his face.
He smiled down at her. "You're beautiful."
"Thanks." She laughed teasingly, right before he lowered his head, kissing her neck. She closed her eyes for a moment, loving the feel of his lips on the sensitive spot on her neck that she didn't even know she had until he had found it. "Your friend is downstairs, you know?"
Angelus nodded his head, never breaking away from his new favorite spot. It was now his new favorite spot because he found out what it did to her. Buffy's mouth dropped open as her breath got caught in her throat and her knees started to go weak. "I would rather be with you." He whispered against her sensitive spot.
"Me too." She moaned, holding his head to her neck. Her other hand travelled down his hard muscular chest to the top of his black boxers. "How long do you think we have until he comes back?"
Angelus smiled down at her with a shrug. "Long enough."

"You must be Buffy!" Doyle smiled from his place on the couch, just a few feet from Xander who sat on the floor in the middle of the living room, playing a video game. "Unless you're not, then I will be really confused."
Buffy's eyes lingered on Xander as she shook her head, that boy really wasn't going to sit on the couch! Then she turned to look at her new boyfriend's best friend and nodded. "Yeah, that would be me."
"It's great to finally meet you." Doyle greeted her, still smiling. "And when I say finally, that's because the big guy called me 5 minutes after laying eyes on you and was talking…"
"It wasn't…" Angelus cut him off, looking towards Buffy with a nervous laugh, before turning back to Doyle. Was he trying to embarrass him? "It wasn't 5 minutes."
Doyle nodded. "You're right, probably more like 2 minutes."
Angelus shook his head again, glancing towards Xander for some help but it never came. "I was at work, it's not like I could run to my phone in the middle of my shift and call you. It wasn't 2 minutes. It wasn't 5 minutes." He exclaimed, with slightly larger eyes than normal. "It was more like 20 minutes." He mumbled.
"But he didn't even know your name, which was weird." Doyle laughed. "The great Angelus didn't talk to a girl long enough to get her name? That was crazy to me! THEN, but then when he finally did tell me, he said it was Cordelia. I thought he was catfishing me or something because then he called back and said your name was Buffy. Like how weird is that! I was thinking this girl has got to be fake if he can't even keep track of a name."
"That would be my fault." Xander raised one hand from his video game controller, not looking away from the television screen.
"Yes." Angelus glared at Xander. "It was."
"BUT…" Xander trailed off for a moment. "I'm not sitting on that couch until it's been cleaned and THAT is your fault."
Buffy rolled her eyes at her dark-haired friend.
Doyle looked down at the couch he was sitting on, slightly scared to know the answer. "What's wrong with the couch?"
"Nothing!" Angelus exclaimed as the same time Xander casually responded, "They were doing unmentionables on it before they went upstairs."
Doyle jumped up from where he was sitting, wiping his pants off, and earning a glare from his best friend. Doyle's gaze met Angelus', causing him to still his motions. "So, when do I get to meet Cordelia?"
"I can call her!" Buffy volunteered. She was slightly worried that Doyle reminded her a little of Xander, with the way he was dressed, and Cordelia didn't like Xander in the least, but Cordelia would see it as a plus that Doyle at least had money. From the way Angelus talked, Doyle had a lot of money.

"Where is he?!" Cordelia shouted as she burst through the door to Angelus' house. Buffy tried to hold back a laugh but ended up cracking a smile. She loved Cordelia, she really did, but that just came off as desperate. "Oh." She looked at the dark-haired man sitting next to Angelus on the couch wearing a blue button shirt and a black leather jacket. Why did he look so much like Xander Harris?
The man stood up from the couch, making his way closer to Cordelia. "Hello Princess."
Suddenly, her interest peaked. Not only did he call her princess but he had an accent. She could work with that. "Hi."
"I'm Doyle." He smiled at her.
"Cordelia." She smiled back.
"Oh." He smiled wider, tilting his head towards her. "I know." He offered his hand to her, and she immediately took it. "Wanna get out of here?"
"Ooookay." Buffy watched as her friend left with the dark-haired man. "That was a lot different than I thought that would go."
Xander nodded, as he watched Cordelia leave with Doyle. "Yeah, same."
Angelus shrugged. "It wasn't bad though."
Buffy shook her head. "No, not bad. Just… odd."
"He's rich." Xander shrugged before turning back to his game.
"True." The blonde nodded before turning to her boyfriend. Angelus slipped her hand inside of his, pulling her closer to him before giving her a light kiss. "Mmmm."
Angelus laughed softly, leading Buffy towards the kitchen. "Come on, I will make you something to eat."
"Then can we go back upstairs?" Buffy asked with a pout.
Angelus looked back at his girlfriend, laughing when he saw her pout. "Definitely."
"Can I get something to eat too?" Xander called out to his best friends.
Angelus smiled at Buffy before calling back out to Xander. "Fine."
"But you aren't coming upstairs with us." Buffy called out to him.
Xander's eyes got large as he tensed up, he always died at this part in the game! "So don't want to, Buffster."

"Did you ever call someone to see about adding a door?" Buffy asked, motioning to the wall where Angelus wanted his quiet room to be.
Angelus pulled her body closer to his on the bed, wrapping his arms tighter around her. "Not yet." He whispered, placing a soft kiss to her neck. "I have time, summer just started."
"Summer will be over before you know it." She whispered, allowing his better access to her neck. "Don't you want it done before your friends move in?"
"Hmm mmm." He mumbled against her neck, as he kissed down her collar bone.
A small moan escaped the blondes lips. "When are they moving in?"
Angelus let out a sigh before pulling away from her. "Are you saying I should call someone now? 'Cause I was a little busy."
"Don't start something you can't finish." She said with a teasing smirk.
Angelus raised his eyebrows at the blonde. "Oh, I can finish it."
"Yeah?" Buffy smiled, running her hands up his chest. "But then you call someone."

Buffy grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and leaned her back against the counter, a small smile played on her lips. The past four days with Angelus had been so much better than the last couple of years with her ex-boyfriend, Scott. When she and Scott had first gotten together it wasn't even as good as it had been with Angelus. It just felt… right with Angelus. She couldn't believe it had only been four days since their first date, it felt like she had known him so much longer than she has.
"You're still here?"
Buffy glanced up at the voice of one of her best friends, pushing herself away from the counter. "Hey, Cor. How'd it go?"
Cordelia shrugged her shoulders. "Not bad. I mean, he has this Xander Harris vibe to him, but…"
The blonde nodded, she had a feeling Doyle would remind her of Xander.
"He took me to LA." Cordelia shrugged again. "We went shopping and he got me everything I even glanced at and he took me to Patina's."
"Patina's?" The blonde raised her eyebrows at the mention of the swanky French restaurant. "Wow."
"Yeah." The brunette sighed with a smile. "So, not so Xander Harris."
Buffy walked closer to the brunette. "So, you like him?"
Cordy shrugged. "I mean, he calls me Princess. He'll do. As long as he keeps it up."
"Keeps up calling you Princess?" Buffy teased her friend.
Cordelia rolled her eyes at the blonde. "Keeps it all up. I mean, I deserve nice things!"
"Yes, you do." The blonde nodded with a small smirk.
"I mean…" Cordelia placed her purse on the island counter. "I guess I kind of dodged a bullet with Angelus. Yeah, he's hot but he's got all this money and what has he even bought for you?"
"It's not abou…" The blonde started only to be cut off by her friend.
"Doyle may be doofy looking but at least he gets it. It's all about ME" The brunette fixed her already perfect hair. "Anyway, I have to go. Doyle is going to get a hotel right outside of town. He just needed to stop and pick up his bags."
Buffy nodded as Cordelia turned to walk out of the kitchen. That was certainly interesting.
A moment after Cordelia left the room, Angelus walked in, smiling at the blonde. "You know, I'm really rethinking this whole clothes thing." He teased her, looking down at her shorts and shirt.
"Oh, yeah?" She teased back. "If only you lived alone."
"Is that all it's going to take?" Angelus smirked, backing her up against the counter and pinning her body against his. "I could have Xander out of here in a matter of seconds."
Buffy laughed, lightly slapping him on the chest. "Oh, stop it." She lightly kissed his lips. "Soon you will have Gunn living here." She whispered before kissing him again. "And all your other friends."
"I'm suddenly rethinking this whole frat-like house thing." He smiled against her lips. "That was single me, I don't even remember that guy anymore."
Buffy laughed harder, pulling him to her. "That was like a week ago."
"Best week of my life." He said, holding her close to him.
"Mmmm. Can't deny that." She mumbled, against his chest. She knew it was getting late and she should go home, but she didn't want to. Leaving him was just too hard.
As if he was reading her mind, he whispered. "Do you have to go?"
The blonde gave him a small smile. "Aren't you sick of me yet?"
Angelus shook his head. "Never." He whispered. "Do you have to babysit?"
"Tonight?" She asked, raising her eyebrows. "No."
"Okay, so…" He took a small step forward, even closer to her. He looked down at her with a smirk. "Maybe we could catch a movie?"
The small blonde smiled, letting out a small laugh. "What exactly did you have in mind?"
"I don't know." He shrugged, dropping a kiss to her lips. "Whatever is in Sun Cinema."
"Like a date?" She asked teasingly. "A date, date? That's unheard of! I mean at this point in our relationship we don't do dates anymore. We just exist."
"Very funny." He pretended to laugh before taking her by the hand. "Let's see what's playing."
"You do realize that means clothes, right?" She teased as he led her out of the kitchen.

"So?" Angelus asked, holding her hand as they walked out of the movie theater. "What did you think?"
"Hmmm." Buffy pursed her lips with a shrug. "Could use more action."
Angelus laughed, girls were supposed to love those types of movies where the girl gets the guy. He had to suffer through so many of those movies in the past, but this time he wanted to do it if it would make Buffy happy. "What type of movie would you rather watch?"
Buffy playfully thought for a moment. "Sarah Connor is my spirit animal."
Angelus stopped walking, turned towards her, and pulled her closer to him as he laughed again. God, she was perfect. "I see a Terminator marathon in our very very near future."
The blonde stood on her tippy toes, smiling up at her boyfriend. "Promise?"
"Oh, yeah!" He nodded with a bright smile before kissing her. Instead of an innocent kiss as he had planned, the kiss turned more heated as Buffy wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
"Wow." Came a voice from behind Buffy. "Check out the lust bunnies!"
Angelus reluctantly pulled his lips away from Buffy, an irritated look on his face as he opened his eyes to see who was speaking. He was about to make a comment when Buffy spun around to face the person. "Oh my god!" She gushed excitedly. "Faith!"
"Hey, B!" The brunette held out her arms, a dark green duffle bag hanging from her arm.
Angelus looked the brunette up and down, she was wearing very tight leather pants, a tight red tank top and bright red lipstick. She appeared to be the complete opposite of his blonde girlfriend, but she always talked so fondly of her friend.
"Oh my god." Buffy laughed, hugging her friend. "Why didn't you tell me that you were coming? We could have picked you up!"
The brunette pursed her lips and shrugged her shoulders. "The 'Dale ain't that big, B. I don't have an issue walking home."
"I still can't believe you are here!" Buffy smiled, hugging her again. "Are you out of money? Is that why you are back cause it's only been a couple of weeks…"
"No!" The brunette exclaimed. "I'm not out of money! After our little talk the other night, I just had to come back and meet…" Faith looked over towards Angelus. "You are Angelus, right? 'Cause if she was gushing about this stud muffin, and she's already getting groiny with someone else, I'm gonna be pissed about it."
"Groiny… stud muffin..." The blonde whispered with large eyes. "Yes… this is Angelus…" She glanced at Angelus. "And clearly, this is Faith." She quickly turned back to her semi-adopted sister. "And I don't think I said stud muffin."
"Oh, you called him a stud, B." Faith laughed before checking Angelus out. "Gotta say, I agree. So much better than Scott."
Angelus raised his eyebrows at the dark-haired girl, he didn't quite know what to think of her.
"Scott was…" Buffy trailed off, thinking for a moment. "a temporary lapse in judgement."
"Temporary?" Faith laughed. "That was a long lapse, B."
Buffy rolled her eyes, as happy as she was that Faith was home, she didn't want to have this conversation, in the middle of Main Street with Angelus right next to her. She stepped closer to Angelus, taking his hand. "So, you're walking home?"
"Nice." Faith smiled, looking from their clasped hands back to Angelus. "Well, I can see that you don't want me here. I guess I could just go back to LA. I have my own stud there, ya know?"
"No!" The blonde exclaimed. "Don't go back to LA! Wait, you do? You have a boyfriend?"
"A couple of studs, anyway." She shrugged with a teasing smile. "You know me."
Buffy rolled her eyes with a smirk, she certainly did know Faith.
"Do you need to go home?" Angelus whispered in the blonde's ear. He really didn't want her to but he understood that her friend just got back into town and it was getting even later. He knew she couldn't spend the night with him, as much as he wanted her to. Saying goodbye to her was just too hard.
"I guess I should." She whispered back, lightly kissing him.
Angelus glanced up at Faith before looking back down at Buffy. "I could give you a ride home."
"I think she needs to walk it off." Faith shook her head, grabbing the blonde by the hand, lightly tugging her best friend towards her.
Buffy stepped even closer to Angelus, earning an eye roll from Faith. "Goodnight." She whispered before kissing him again.
"I'll see you soon." He gave her another kiss.
Faith let out a sigh, these two were going to drive her nuts, she just knew it. "Don't worry, big guy." She smirked, pulling Buffy a little harder to get her out of Angelus' embrace. "Just keepin' her warm for ya."
Angelus watched as the two girls walked away, hand in hand, he shoved his own hands into his pants pockets, suddenly feeling empty. As if something were missing if she wasn't with him. They hadn't even known each other for two weeks yet, but he already didn't like being without her.
OoOoO
"I can't believe you didn't tell me you were coming home!" Buffy exclaimed as she walked home with Faith. As happy as she was that her friend was back, she really didn't want to leave Angelus. They had spent the whole day together, and yet, it didn't seem long enough.
Faith laughed, glancing over at the blonde. "I'm glad I didn't! Then I wouldn't have caught you in a heated liplock with Mr. Hottie!" The brunette waved her hands in front of her. "You were NEVER like that with Scott, in what, the whole two years you were dating!"
"It's different with Angelus." The blonde shrugged.
"I'll say!" Faith laughed again, she couldn't help but find this side of Buffy amusing. "It's been what, two weeks?"
Buffy pouted, as she walked slowly. "Not quite. Technically, four days since our first date."
"Oh, this is perfect!" The brunette exclaimed. "How does Mama Joyce feel about this development?"
"She likes him." Buffy offered. "She just isn't too keen on sex while living in her house."
Faith stopped in her tracks, she knew Joyce didn't like the thought of her having sex while she was living there, the older woman had explained that it simply meant she was too young. "You two are having sex?"
"Not…" Buffy trailed off as she turned the corner onto the sidewalk leading up to the Summers house and ran up the stairs. "...exactly."
"Whoa! B!" Faith chased after her best friend as the blonde quickly made it into the house. "You don't run away from me!"
"Hey mom!" Buffy called loud enough for her mother to hear her if she was downstairs but not loud enough to wake Dawn. It was late and she knew her little sister was sleeping. "Look what I found!"
Joyce Summers came running out of the kitchen where she was doing dishes. She could have sworn she heard Faith's older woman gasped when she saw the brunette. "Oh, sweetie! You are home!" She gushed, pulling the younger girl into a hug.
Faith glared at her blonde friend and whispered. "This is not over."
