Fiyero had been driving all day when he arrived at the village. He had escaped from the palace the night before. Now he had to find Elphaba and Glinda as quickly as possible. He has always ridden at a pace that his horse could sustain for a long time. He was almost back in the Vikuns. He has had short breaks to eat or take a nap. He also sometimes walked next to his horse so that his horse could also rest.

Fiyero got off and looked around. He saw twenty large stone houses. He saw a school, town hall and a cafe where you could sleep at. He walked to the cafe.

"Excuse me Miss, can I stable my horse here and can I also get a room here?" he asks when he sees a red-haired woman.

The woman looks suspiciously at him. But nodded.

'Your horse can go to the stables. There are brushes and places to put the saddle down. Your room is room 25 which is the first floor on the right.'

Fiyero nodded as he took the key. He walked out to take his horse to the stable. 'Come on boy, you earned your rest well. You get an extra large apple. ' Fiyero says while stroking his horse. All the villagers look at him strangely or walk around him in a big curve.

These people were of course not used to the Gale force. Fiyero had kept his uniform, because then he would not be stopped at the gates of the Emarld city and less likely to be mugged.

Now Fiyero regretted his choice. How to ask people for information if they don't trust him.

Fiyero took care of his horse. Then he went to his room to take a short nap there. After an hour he woke up from hunger. He went to the cafe and sat down somewhere.

While he was looking at the menu a brown-haired woman came to take his order. When they brought his food to him, Fiyero went fishing for information.

"Hey Miss, I was wondering if there's an Animal village around here?"

The woman raised her eyebrows. "You know they are almost gone because of your laws and attacks?" she asks irritated.

Fiyero turned red. 'I'm not here to attack the village if that's what you sometimes think. I'm looking for friends who might be there. You may know them. One is small with short blond hair and blue eyes. She is always cheerful. The other is tall and surly with long black hair and chocolate brown eyes. The blonde looks pink and the other one is uhm green.' Fiyero said while he was still blushing.

He looked the woman straight in the eye. He saw her shock, but she recovered quickly. She started to laugh "You mean Glinda the good and the Wicked Witch?" She asked between laughs. 'The idea that they are together. You are a funny soldier.' She says as she walks away.

'Wait!' She turned around.

"So there is an Animal village here?"

The woman thought for a moment.' You promise me you won't attack it.'

Fiyero nodded.

'Telling someone that Glinda the Good and the Witch are together certainly won't hurt. If you go east from here and then turn left at the river. You arrive at a village after half a day. ' She told him while not looking into his eyes and turning a little red.

Fiyero smiles and nodded. "thank you. You did me a great favor."

The woman left.

So that was a lie. Then I have to go west in the morning. He thought. He eats everything with a satisfied feeling. He goes to have a look at his horse. Then he goes to bed early.

Tomorrow morning I will see Elphaba and Glinda he thought before falling asleep.

The next morning Fiyero set out early. He headed west. The sun was almost rising. He looked around carefully to see no clues. He had left his horse in the stable because he would only be clumsy. In addition, his horse had ridden all the time the previous day. He also deserved some rest.

Fiyero walked towards a tree and before he realized it, he was hanging in a net at the top of the tree. He had walked into a booby trap. Bells all rang.

Fantasically, Fiyero thought sarcastically. He lay uncomfortably in the net. After several attempts to escape, he heard people walking.

''I'm sure' said a deep voice. 'Someone has been caught.'

'It must be Lion again, who hasn't been looking well. "Said a lady voice.

Fiyero saw a Wolf and two women.

'You?' he called in alarm. 'You work with the Animals?'

'You? You had to go east.' It sounded at the same time. by three different voices.

The wolf looked confused at Fiyero and the women.

'Uhm Daniella what do you mean? Is this the guard you meant?'

The brown-haired woman named Daniella nodded.

'We have to get him out of the way.' said the red-haired woman.

'Well Bella, that seems an exaggeration to me,' said the Wolf. 'We don't know anything about him.'

'Look at his uniform that says it all,' said the woman called Bella.

'I agree with Raydel' said Daniella. 'But I don`t know if it is wise to take him with us.'

Raydel shakes his head. "Let's go back and ask Raisha." Both women glared at Fiyero and nodded.

''I'm stupid to trust him,' Danniella said to Bella.

'It's not your fault. That Gale Force kind is not to be trusted.' Bella said as she put her arm around her friend.

"Wait." Fiyero shouts. He didn't want to wait for that Raisha person. He wanted to speak to Elphaba and Glinda immediately. 'I am reliable. I can prove it. Ask Glinda and Elphaba. I am Fiyero. I was or am engaged to Glinda. We haven't really been able to talk about what we are now. We have been forced by Morrible. "The three look at each other in surprise. They know Glinda's story. But would he really be telling the truth.

Raydel looked at Fiyero and saw a frightened boy. 'Okay, I want to believe you, but you have to tell us something only Glinda and Elphaba would know.'

Fiyero thought hard. 'I know Glinda calls Elphaba Elphie. Elphaba thinks that sounds perky. Elphaba saved a lion at school along with me. that sort of things?' He asks the Wolf.

The three look at each other again. "Shall we take him and check with Glinda?" Raydel asks.

'I do not trust him. He is and will remain with the Gale Force.'Bella says.

Only Daniella still has doubts. On the one hand she wants to trust him. He has something she finds attractive. He also has beautiful eyes and that body my Oz. she thought. But Bella's right, he's from the Gale Force. "We will give him the benefit of the doubt. He hasn't done anything wrong yet. But we'll blindfold him. The others nod.

'We'll untie you, but you don't play funny tricks. Understood.' Raydel says. Fiyero nods.

Raydel takes the knife and cuts the rope. Fiyero lands on the ground with a bang.

"We're going to put this handkerchief on your eyes." Daniella says as she takes it from her pocket. Fiyero nods again and slowly gets up. His muscles are still stiff from lying for a long time and an uncomfortable position.

'You put your hand on my shoulder and we walk to the village', says Raydel.

Bella kept a close eye on everything. She didn't trust that Fiyero at all.

Glinda woke up calmly. This was the second night she was without Elphaba. The first night she had slept with Raydel and his wife. During the day she had plenty of distraction, but she never liked being alone at night. So she arranged for a slumber party with the children of the village. She sometimes did that. The children were of course very enthusiastic. Glinda had provided some treats together with Bella and Daniella. They had been playing games all night. Since the boys did not like to be made up.

'Ooh Elphie be back soon. I know it's only one or two nights, but I miss you.' Glinda whispers to no one. She looked around and saw that everyone was still asleep. She started to freshen up and start with breakfast. She had promised the kids to make pancakes.

She was making the first pancake when she saw Manny. 'Good morning Manny' says Glinda cheerfully. 'Did you sleep well?'

Manny nodded but looked sad.

"You miss her too or not?" Glinda asks kindly. Manny nods.

'You can miss her. I miss Elphie too. ' She says as she hugs the little goat. Manny starts to sniffle. Glinda strokes his back.

'Sssh it's good.' she says softly in his ear. After a minute he is calm again. Glinda released him and continued with the pancake.

'I ... I had a nightmare. She was captured and given something for her mouth so that she could no longer cast spells. She tried to fight but couldn't. I could only watch. It was very bad. ' Manny said softly. Glinda hugged him again.

'Sssh it was just a very scary nightmare. She will be back tomorrow or the day after. She will never left us without a fight.'

Glinda and Manny continued to talk about school and memories about Elphie. Slowly the other children also woke up to the smell of pancakes. Glinda laughed at how excited the kids were about pancakes. Everyone was dressed and washed when all the pancakes were ready.

Everyone had eaten their fill. But everyone agreed that the Elphaba pancakes were better. Glinda cleaned up with the children. They went to play for a while but then Glinda had to go back to work. All the children went home and Glinda went to the study.

After half an hour she saw the Grimmerie. She picked up the book and began to read where she left off. She remembered the night she learned the spell. A big smile appeared on her mouth. She began to read on. But smile quickly faded when she finished the page.

'Sweet Oz no. This couldn't be true. How could I be so stupid. Would this really be true?' She began to read again.

This she read: The spell for new life. You can revive dead cells. Think of killing nerve cells or brain cells. You can simply start generating life from a dead flower. If successful, the flower will become beautiful and alive again. This also helps to give new life to cells of animals, humans, plants and Animals. Sometimes it cannot work because too many new cells have to be made. Or because you have too little strength. Powerful witches can sometimes bring dead people back to life. But then the cells must be dead for less than five minutes. It may also be the case that a woman's egg cells can multiply, after ovulation has occurred, by the power of the spell. Both persons must then say the spell. This only works if both witches or wizards are very strong. It has never happened that such a new life has arisen.

Glinda could hardly breathe. her breathing was shallow. How could this happen. Indeed, they had said the spell together so that she could cast it properly. Glinda thought. We were both full of energy and full force. Glinda always wanted children but she didn't know what Elphaba wanted. They weren't even married yet.

Glinda's thoughts only got worse. Until she was interrupted by a loud knock on the door. She took a calm breath again. She opened the door and saw Daniella, Bella and Raydel standing there. Someone was behind them but Glinda didn't pay much attention to that. She was still assured herself that the spell might not have worked. It said it had never worked so why now. Glinda had no pregnancy problems yet and Elphaba was not as far as she knew either.

'Glin are you okay?' Bella asked concerned when she didn't see the same cheerful Glinda as always.

Daniella looked concerned too. 'You look very pale. Would you like to lie down? '

'No,' Glinda says as they shake her head. She had to focus on the now. Maybe nothing is wrong.

'What can I do for you? ' she asks with a sad smile.

Raydel didn't trust Glinda but decided to ask again later.' We found someone in the woods. He says you know him. But we didn't trust him.' He said as he stepped to the side.

Glinda's eyes opened wide. 'Fiyero is that you? Sweet Oz. How did you get here what happened?.' Glinda asked quickly.

Before the others could respond, Glinda flew around Fiyero's neck and hugged him. Tears came to her eyes. 'Oooh Fifi I missed you so much. You have to tell me everything.'

Then it started to show up at Glinda. 'Wait a minute. If you're here means the Gale Force is here too. You stupid Brainless traitor.' She started to hit his arms.

Bella started to laugh softly. The other two watched Glinda's mood swings in amazement.

Fiyero speaking for the first time. 'Glin take it easy. Then I can also answer your questions. And no, I am alone, I have come to tell you Morrible's plan.'

Everyone looked shocked.

'What?!' Raydel ask. 'You want to say you come and help us? ' Fiyero nods.

Glinda clapped her hands with joy. 'Oooh how good of you. I knew you got a brain over time. Come in quickly and tell them everything.'

Glinda was already walking in. 'Uhm Glin. I do not see anything.' Fiyero says, pointing to his blindfold.

'Oooh sorry Fifi I am so happy to see you again and that things are going in the right direction with team Elphie.'

'Team Elphie?' ask Raydel.

'Oooh that's what I call us. We do everything we can to support Elphie in her fight against the Wizard and Madame Morrible.'

'Only Madame Morrible.' Fiyero says. The others look at him in surprise.

'Maybe you should tell everything,'' says Daniella. She walks to Fiyero to take off his blindfold. 'I will gather Raisha and the rest of the elders. We meet here. Glinda, you can make some food. We haven't eaten since breakfast and it's already noon. Raydel you help me and Bella you help Glinda. Fiyero you are going to freshen up and prepare your story.'

Everyone nodded when Daniella finished handing out the orders. Everyone quickly got to work.

Where is Elphaba? Fiyero asked Glinda when he had freshened up and Glinda was stirring the soup.

"She's on a mission to rescue some Animals that are being transported.

Fiyero looked surprised. He knew nothing about animals being transported. He wanted to respond when there was a loud knock on the door. Bella opened the door and everyone walked in.

Lion happily walked over to Fiyero then. He remembered being the boy who saved him along with Elphaba. Lion said he was having a good time in the village. Fiyero talked about his captain's time

When everyone was together in Glinda and Elphaba's house, Fiyero told his whole story. In the meantime they ate a sandwich with soup. Fiyero told of his collaboration with the Wizard. Of his plan. How they found out Morrible's plan and about Nessa. Everyone listened carefully.

"So you're saying we need to defeat Morrible as quickly as possible before she wipes out all the Animal villages?"

Fiyero nodded. 'Yes, according to our map there are only three left. All Animals are either fled to the Vikuns or in prison camps. Although Elphaba has already disabled most of them.'

Everyone was in shock and kept silent.

"I think the captain is right. If what he says is true, we should act against Morrible now. We have Glinda, Fiyero and the Wizard as public figures and Elphaba for the powers.'Lion said. Everyone turns to him with an open mouth. Normally he took the coward away but now he wanted to fight.

Everyone looked at each other but did not dare to make a choice.

'We are going to vote on our options tomorrow. We can't do anything or dethrone Morrible with the help of everyone. " Raisha says. Everyone nodded.

"I'd like to talk to you for a minute, Captain' Raisha said. Fiyero swallowed but nodded. 'And with you,' she added when she pointed to Glinda, Bella, Daniella and Raydel. The rest of the older ones left the house.

'I want to make sure, is this the whole story. ' she asked. Fiyero nodded. 'And you trusted him?' she asked Bella who nodded no, Daniella shrugged and Raydel nodded yes.

Raisha sighed. 'This is of no use to me. I'll just have to take your word for it, Captain. I hope we didn't make any mistakes. Where do you want to sleep? '

Fiyero hadn't thought of that yet. Luckily, Glinda raised her hand. 'He can sleep here. Elphaba is still a day away.'

Raisha nodded. 'I would love it if Bella and Daniella would spend the night here. At least if that goes.'

The girls nodded. Fiyero was disappointed that she didn't trust him right away but got it. So he gave the rest a smile. Glinda returned a pitiful smile. She saw the pain in his eyes.

'Well, that has been arranged. You can go. I just want to talk to you. 'Raisha says to Glinda.

Glinda looked surprised but followed her anyway. 'What do you want to tell me?' Raisha asked when they were alone in the study. Glinda's mouth fell open.

H…Ho..How do you know that she stammered. Raisha gave her a look. Glinda swallowed and told Raisha about what she had read in the Grimmerie. 'What if it really is. What if I am pregnant or Elphaba? '

Raisha looked at her and said simply, "Then you raise the child with all the love you can give.'

Glinda took at her and laughed.' I think you are right. I make it a problem when it is not even so. But if I were pregnant from Elphaba or Elphaba from me, my greatest wish would come true.' She looked out of the window 'I hope Elphaba thinks the same.' She whispered.

'I think she should be given the time. It's not nothing to get your girlfriend pregnant. I mean it's organic even possible. But when the time comes you should know that she is always afraid of making mistakes. A mistake of hers is immediately punished, that has been the case all her life. She will be scared just like a normal person who is told she is becoming a parent and hide it. But deep down in her heart she is overjoyed. She doesn't want to lose that happiness.' Raisha says kindly.

She had known the green woman for a long time. She has seen her depths and how she has blossomed. She was sure those two would be fine. 'Be sure of yourself. You will be a beautiful mother.' Glinda smiled and gave Raish a hug.

'Thank you. I feel a lot better even if I really are pregnant or Elphaba.'

Raisha hugged back 'You're welcome,' she said with a smile 'I'm proud of you both.'

The five stayed together to exchange stories. First, Fiyero spoke a lot, but later the stories of Daniella and Bella began. Soon Raisha and Raydel had to work again. They released Glinda for the rest of the day. They decided to have dinner with everyone. Raydel had brought his wife. So they were with seven. Everyone talked to each other and laughed at the stories they told each other. Bella and Raisha began to trust Fiyero more.

"I have to offer my debt, Captain. Raisha said. 'You are a reliable person after all. I'm sorry I doubted you. '

Fiyero smiles. 'You are absolutely right. Protecting your people comes first. I'm sorry I couldn't do anything earlier. I have done my best to treat the Animals as well as possible. ' Fiyero says seriously.

Everyone nodded. By evening they went for a walk. Raisha went home. She was tired.

While walking Daniella and Fiyero spoke to each other. Bella and Glinda were teasing them from a distance. Later, Raydel and his wife also went home. The girls and Fiyero went back inside when it was too cold. Bella and Daniella went to bed early because they had to go back to work in the cafe early.

'So Nessa really got caught by Morrible?' Ask Glinda when they were alone.

Fiyero nods 'I think she's been there for weeks. Because then Morrible started going to the dungeons more often.'

'Poor Nessa. I hope she is treated well. It is always so cold there.' Glinda says as the vibrations run down her back.

'Poor us if we have to tell Elphaba.' Fiyero jokes.

Glinda smiles. 'I think you are right. We'll have to tie her up first because she will flying off the handle.'

Glinda and Fiyero remained silent, reflecting on everything that had happened.

"I'm sorry I left you." Glinda said suddenly

'You do not have to say sorry. I would have done the same. ' Fiyero said.

"I want you to know that I care about you a lot, but not that way." Glinda said.

Fiyero smiled. We've talked about that often enough. So who's the lucky one? '

'You have the amorous look in your eyes and you glow. So who is it?' Fiyero explained when he saw Glinda's confused look.

'It's Elphie.' Glinda says as she turns red.

'Good for you. I hope you will be happy. '

Glinda smiled and nodded. 'And you with Daniella? You were cute together.

Now it was Fiyero's turn to blush. 'I hope so . She is so smart and beautiful.' The two friends were still talking and went to bed.

Next, day Glinda and Fiyero had breakfast together. Bella en Daniella had already gone to work. Glinda en Fiyero went through their plans and agreed to have lunch together. It was a quiet morning. Everyone was happy. Glinda was nervous because today or tomorrow Elphaba would return. Glinda saw Fiyero walk home to lunch.

THEN several loud bells rang. Within a minute everyone was packing everything. Glinda and Fiyero looked at each other in surprise.

Raydel came running with five other elders. "YOU" I thought we could TRUST YOU. Now the Gale Force is coming here. Surprising ?! He angrily yells at Fiyero.

'What? How is that possible? Maybe it is a trap. Quickly we have to go. I know their formation. They will shoot from the woods. Make sure everyone is as far from the shooting range as possible. The bullets cause few injuries from afar. Up close, the bullets cause fatal wounds,' Fiyero says while looking around to help others. 'How long have they been removed from here? ' he asks.

Raydel was amazed by Fiyero's response. 'Heard about two miles on the bells. "

Fiyero nodded. 'Then have less than ten minutes. We have to hurry. Do you have another hiding place?'

Raydel nods 'Yes everyone is packing their things like food. It's a fifteen minute walk,' says Raydel.

Raisha was listening to the conversation. Frist she was angery with Fiyero aswell. But quickly changed her mind just as Raydel and the others. Maybe it was a trap set by Morrible and the Wizard. Maybe they tricked Fiyero into getting to the village where Glinda and Elphaba are. So now they have Glinda.. Thought Raisha.

'Good, Glinda and I will distract them. You two get everyone out of here in five minutes. With or without there stuff.

Glinda was startled by Raisha's sudden voice. But nodded.

'What can I do?' she asked in surprise.

'You have your bubble, right? You can use that as a shield for the bullets, and I have some tricks too.'

Glinda couldn't believe what she was hearing. 'You also have magic powers?'She asked in disbelief.

Not alone people have magic powers, Animales have them too.' she said with a grin

She heard Raydel and Fiyero give orders to the rest. I hope we can give them enough time. Raisha thought.
