I can't believe we stopped a full-scale invasion, AND beat an elite acapella group all in one night!

Several good things came from this. The first one being, Kirā's acapella group broke up after their ultimate defeat after we stopped the invasion. And, get this, their Skuntank wanted to live a life without abuse because evidently Kirā abused him. And guess who decided to take him in?

You guessed it.

Jackie.

Now Jackie has a partner Pokemon.

Clash and I are friends now. He claimed I did a great service to his clan, and requested an alliance with me. I gladly accepted. Now Gamma and Lupe can visit here without getting in trouble. Any of Clash's dragons can, really. I earned Clash's trust.

Now that we have the lair back, we let the other tigers live here until they can find a place of their own. I think only Gabby, Apollo, Nyata and Kingsley are gonna be living here. It shouldn't be a very big problem for the others, considering they don't have to deal with the Kraang anymore. Kazar is still out there, though. God knows where he is.

Anyway, we're cleaning up the lair right now. There isn't really much I can do now, everyone keeps stealing a job from me. SO I'm occupying myself by scanning the area for 'scrap metal.'

"So, this is what a lair looks like." Varian said, looking around. "Nice place you boys got here." Kulu added. "Yeah, but I wouldn't wanna spend the rest of my life underground." Jackie admitted. "Only because we've lived in the wild for a majority of our lives." Denali said.

"You know how we feel." I said. They nodded. "I would if it means living with my bro again. I can't lose you again." Apollo said, rubbing his head against my shoulder. "Aw, I feel the same way, bud." I said, putting an arm around my brother. "So do I." Gabby replied, nuzzling me.

"Aww, you three are so cute!" Nyata cooed. "I wish I had a family like that."

That last sentence concerned me a bit. The three of us looked at each other. "What do you mean by that?" I asked her. "Well, I never knew my parents, or my siblings if I had any. My Beartic protected me like a big sister, so besides you, she's the only family I have."

"Besides me?"

"I know you're my boyfriend, but you're like the younger brother I never had. Which is saying something, considering I don't think I had one…"

I looked at her sadly. "She calls me her sister sometimes, just because." Kulu said. I walked over to Nyata and gave her a hug. "I'm sorry. I had to go through that, too. But you have us now. There's nothing to worry about now." I reassured her. Nyata purred and returned my hug. "Thanks, baby."

We heard the noise of the toll gates and saw Casey walk in. He looked angry about something. "What's wrong, Case?" I asked him. "Where've you been is a better question." Kulu said. Denali swatted her arm. "Doing what you should be; helping the city, stopping crime!" Casey retorted to Kulu. Now she looked pissed.

"Excuse me? Who the hell you think you're talking to? I will not take wise talk from a vigilante like yourself! And if you think I'm gonna bust my tail after stopping a damn invasion, you got another thing coming-!"

"Okay, thank you for that." Nyata said, pulling Kulu back. "Uh, she's kinda got a point, though." I said. "We just got done stopping an invasion. Please, we could use some downtime." The boys nodded.

"Evil never takes downtime, Blaze. I just took on the Purple Dragons!" Casey said. "Ooh." The boys said sarcastically. Kulu and I shared a blank look. "So, how'd that go?" Gabby asked. "Well, at least I stopped them from getting away with the cash." He said.

"Meaning they got away? Is that what I'm hearing correctly?" Kulu asked. "Wait, so you didn't beat the Purple Dragons?" Donatello asked. Casey didn't answer. To his embarrassment, Kulu and the boys burst out laughing. "You don't wanna help? Fine! I don't need you guys! Casey Jones can protect the city alone!"

"Good luck with that!" Donatello shouted. Raphael threw a soda can. I caught it with my telekinesis and directed it so it hit him in the head. "Ow!" He yelled, rubbing his head. "Not. Cool." Nyata put a paw on my shoulder. "Let's just finish cleaning up."

I was tearing broken Kraang droids apart, since there's nothing for me to do. I'm not just saying that because I'm bored, I wanna make myself useful, but everyone else is doing something I was gonna do. Now I'm not doing anything. "Marcus, if you wanna make yourself useful, you can help me find the TV remote." Michelangelo offered. "Yes!" I stood up and put my nose to work.

"Got a text from Casey. Uh oh, he's on some kind of crazy mission. I gotta go handle this." I heard Raphael's voice as he got up to leave. "Want me to go with you?" I asked him. "But I need help finding the remote!" Michelangelo whined. "Just stay and help him find the damn remote." Kulu sassed. I shrugged, "Okay."

Can't. Find. Remote! "No… It's gone forever. Farewell, sweet TV-controlling device. You made our lives so much better. You were a true friend in times of-"

"I hate to interrupt your sermon, but I finally found the damn thing." I told him, the remote in my paw. "YES! Thank you!" He shouted, hugging the life out of me. "No problem." I wheezed. Deciding to take a break, we sat down and watched Crognard. I yawned a bit. Gotta be honest, not that I don't like Crognard, but I'd much rather watch Space Heroes.

After Crognard ended, they finished cleaning. I was lazing around on the tire swing. I was getting ready to fall asleep, but then a weight woke me up. Opening my eyes, I saw Nyata making herself comfortable on my stomach. I didn't bother saying anything. She's exhausted, and so am I.

"Are you crazy? You just let him go off on his own?!" Leonardo's infuriated shout woke both of us up. "Mornin' Sleeping Beauties." Gabby joked. "Har har. Where are the boys?" I asked her. SHe pointed in the direction of Donatello's lab. "Thanks."

"What was I supposed to do? Chain him to a wall? I told him not to go." Raphael retorted. "What's going on?" I asked, grabbing everyone's attention. "Casey did something stupid again, I presume?" Nyata asked. "You presumed right." Leonardo said with a sigh.

"Well, I'm stumped. I have no idea what this chemical is. It's not mutagen-based." Donatello said. "Could it be an explosive?" I asked. He shrugged. "The thing is, we've seen Stockman's lab, and he doesn't have the equipment to synthesize the chemicals. Only mutagen."

"Hm, what kind of place would have equipment like that?" Michelangelo said, with his mouth full, spitting out a cheese ball or two. "Don't talk with your mouth full. And eating Cheesy balls? Do you even know what's in that?" Leonardo asked. "As far as I know, who cares? As long as it tastes good, people oughta buy it." I said.

'It's all-natural, brah. De-enriched corn husks, hydrogenated styrodextrin, red dye 42. Tri-nucleonized… whaa?" I gave him a weird look. "Uh, there is no way that's all-natural." Nyata said. "She's right. In fact, it's probably slightly radioactive." Donatello said. "Can I see the container?" Michelangelo gave me the container. "Yep. Manufactured by Auman Chemicals."

"That's in Chinatown, right?" Nyata asked. "Yep. It's the biggest chemical manufacturing plant in the city." Donatello answered. "So it shouldn't be hard to find, right?"

We arrived at the factory. I used telekinesis to direct Shredder away from Casey, then electrocuted him before dropping him. "Destroy them! Do not let them near the vat!" He demanded. "I don't need you guys. I had this-"

"Is that why you almost got killed?" I asked. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "Yeah. Thought so."

"And I have you." I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw Tiger Claw. "Oh, great." I muttered. A fight ensued almost instantly. Nyata sped past Tiger Claw several times, taking his sword and ice gun. "We've got this." Nyata said.

I saw Leonardo square up against Shredder, so I thought I'd pitch in and use Thunder Fang, electrocuting him for the second time. But then he slashes me across the face, causing me to hold my face in pain. THen I felt him hold me over the vat of orange stuff that's supposed to be the chemical. "If you value his life, do not take another step." Shredder said. Seems oddly familiar. "Put him down!" Leonardo said, taking two steps forward. "As you wish." Then he dropped me. "NO!"

Little do they know I can scale ceilings and walls. "I'm right here." I said, grabbing their attention. Leonardo sighed in relief before he gave me a hug. I returned it, before I heard "He shoots. He scores!"

"Let's go!" Leonardo shouted. And we hightailed it out of there, but not before I saw a slightly trembling Tiger Claw. "I hit him hard with his own ice gun." Nyata told me. "I can always count on you with ice." I said before we ran.

We're back at the lair now. "So, how'd your mission go?" Apollo asked. "It went great, thank you for asking." I answered. Nyata nuzzled me as she walked past me. "Guys, this is worse than I thought. Shredder's mixture, it's not an explosive." Donatello said. "Kay… then what is it?"

"I think he's working on a mind control formula. If it works, he can use it on Karai, or us, or every person in New York City!"

My ears flattened. "Not without a fight." I said. Apollo nudged me with his nose. I rubbed his head. WHatever Shredder plans to do with this mind control serum, it won't be good. That I know for a fact.

"So, you liking your partner Pokemon?" I asked Jackie, who was snuggling with her Skuntank. "God yes. He's perfect. He's got awesome hair, a dreamy accent, and that emo attitude. Just like me." Jackie said.

Well, things are going smoothly. For right now...
