"Hey guys look who I ran into on my walk." Alexis says as she comes walking over to the others with Misako.
"Mom?" Lloyd ask as Misako runs over and hugs him.
"Alexis told me about what happened. follow me. But your weapons are not allowed. Ever since Lloyd defeated his father Garmadon sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past. It's an oath he takes very seriously." Misako says as she begins walking with Alexis and Nya.
"But we were supposed to protect these with our lives." Kai says.
"And never let them out of our sight." Jay says as Kai looks at him.
"You guys go on ahead. I will stay back and watch over them." Zane says before the group leaves him with their vehicles and weapons.
*Timeskip*
"I recognize those looks." Misako says as she sees Alexis looking between Lloyd and Cole while Nya is looking between Cole and Jay as the boys are playing with the students as they arrive at Garmadon's monastery.
"What looks? I wasn't looking." Nya says as she and Alexis look at Misako.
"I don't know what you mean Misako." Alexis says.
"Two boys one heart." Misako says.
"Are we that obvious?" Alexis asks.
"What am I gonna do? Jay's the only one who makes me laugh but Cole.. Cole's not Jay." Nya says as she looks at the two boys.
"I can agree with Nya. I do like Cole but he just doesn't really seem to notice me that way. Yes he is always there when I need him but Lloyd.. Lloyd always does his best to cheer me up, always tries to be there, and always notices when I'm acting out of ordinary. We've gotten pretty close. Cole just doesn't seem to notice anything with me.. Lloyd is definitely not like Cole is." Alexis says as she sees Lloyd look at her and smile causing her to smile nervously.
*Timeskip*
"Ah. My son. So glad you could join us." Garmadon says as he comes into the room where everyone is waiting.
"It's been a while father." Lloyd says.
"Tonight's lesson is the art of the silent fist. To fight without fighting. May I have a volunteer?" Garmadon asks as he goes over to a shrine before looking at the group.
"How about me!?" Lloyd asks as he raises his hand.
"The ultimate battle! Round two." Nya say as Lloyd gets up and walks over to his father confidently.
"Attack me but please no powers. I happen to like my monastery. You see the key is balance. Let your opponent fight himself. Let the enemy tire himself." Garmadon says as he avoids Lloyd's attacks with ease.
"Ooh." Kai and Jay say in union as Lloyd hits a pole face first before falling onto the ground seeing birds.
"Pupils I give you the most powerful ninja in all the land. The golden ninja." Garmadon says as the boys face palm while the students laugh as Alexis looks at Lloyd.
"Lloyd are you okay?" Alexis asks as Lloyd gets up angrily and begins to form an energy blast in his hands.
"Easy son. It is only a lesson." Garmadon says as Lloyd stops.
"Sorry. I don't know what got into me." Lloyd says as he gives a sad look.
"You let the anger take over. I know that feeling well. Now let's divide into groups." Garmadon says as he goes over to Lloyd.
"You know I still think you did well. Besides Garmadon is Wu's brother. It is still kind of hard to beat either of them regardless of training." Alexis says as she pairs up with Lloyd.
"Yeah and as much as you've kicked my butt during training using that technique you'd think I would of learned it by now." Lloyd says.
"It takes time and patience Lloyd along with practice. You'll get it. Oof!" Alexis says as she then gets knocked onto the floor by Lloyd dodging her attack before sweeping her feet out from under her.
"You were saying." Lloyd says as he smirks causing Alexis to smile.
"Ha ha. Very funny. Let's see if you can do it again." Alexis says as she gets up and gets into a fighting stance before stopping as the group hears commotion and goes outside to see Zane walking with a tied up Pixal.
"It's Pixal but how did she find us?" Cole says.
"How about we take her apart to find out?" Kai says as he begins to walk towards Pixal before Zane stops him.
"Please. She was only doing what she was program to do. She may hold many answers but perhaps there is an easier way." Zane says as he picks up his techno weapon and activates it.
"No. I-" Garmadon says before Alexis shifts to wolf form and jumps in front of him.
"It's alright. I know what he's going to do. It's not a weapon. These weapons only hack into things. It won't hurt her." Alexis says before the group see Zane successfully free Pixal from the overlord's control.
"Where am I? Why am I tied up?" Pixal asks as she looks around.
"You were under the control of the overlord. How did you find us?" Zane asks as he unties Pixal.
"They went into Wu's memory. They know all of your hiding places." Pixal says as she looks at Zane.
"My brother! Is he okay?" Garmadon asks as the group goes closer to Pixal.
"Yes but the overlord wants your son. His golden power is the only way he can escape the digital realm and become real." Pixal says as everyone looks at her.
"Why did Borg give us the techno blades to protect? Why are they so important?" Kai asks as he looks at his techno blade.
"Because together they can reboot the system, wipe the master computer clean, and destroy the overlord virus. For good. I didn't come alone!" Pixal says.
"What? Who is with you?" Alexis asks.
"Nindroids." Pixal says.
"Nindroids!?" The group ask in union before they are then surrounded by nindroids beginning a fight between the two groups before secretly getting away in the mill as they vehicles are destroyed.
*Timeskip*
"It won't be long until they figured out we used autopilot. We should get a move on." Cole says as the group come out of hiding in the mill as they see they are safe for the moment.
"I'm coming with you. If the overlord wants my son i'm not letting him out of my sight." Garmadon says as he looks at Lloyd.
"I'll stay and look after the monastery." Misako says as she walks off.
"Wait! If he wants me and the techno blades are the only thing that can stop them shouldn't we split up just in case?" Lloyd asks
"Good thinking. Zane's falcon knows the secret location of my samurai x cave. You and your father go and take what you need to get as far away from us as possible." Nya says.
"Secret cave? I thought we knew everything about each other." Jay says as Nya looks at him.
"Well a girl's got to have her secrets." Nya says as she smiles.
"What are you guys going to do? Those nindroids aren't going to let you step one foot into the city." Lloyd says as the others look at him before at Nya.
"Yeah Nya. What are we gonna do?" Jay asks as he looks at Nya.
"We're gonna shut down the power." Nya says.
"Let's get going son." Garmadon says as he begins to walk off with Lloyd.
"Lloyd wait." Alexis says as she goes to Lloyd causing him to look at her.
"What is it?" Lloyd asks.
"I want you to hold onto this." Alexis says as she takes off her blue feather and hand it to Lloyd.
"Wait. Isn't that your mom's feather? Why are you giving this to me? You never take this off." Lloyd says as he looks at the feather curiously.
"I know but I've always thought of this as my lucky feather. I'd just feel a little better if you held onto it for now." Alexis says.
"I'll be fine. I promise." Lloyd says as he smiles.
"I'm gonna hold you to that." Alexis says as she smiles.
"I know. I expect you to keep an eye on the others for me. Good luck." Lloyd says as he leaves with his dad before the others leave.
*Timeskip*
"So Nya shutting down this power substation can we really destroy the overlord and his nindroids by simply flipping a switch?" Cole asks as the group is hiding on a circus train.
"Yeah it does sound like a long shot." Alexis says.
"Cripple them yes. Destroy? No. Once we've powered down his army we still need to reboot the central computer with the techno blades. And don't forget. Since he knows we have them he won't just let us waltz in." Nya says.
"Whoa. Wait a minute. If shutting down the power turns off everything connected to it wouldn't that mean Pixal too?" Jay asks.
"Well if Zane hasn't figured it out don't tell him. If we come across more nindroids we need to be on our A game." Cole says.
"Speaking of Zane has anyone seen him?" Alexis asks.
*Timeskip*
"So how come you gave Lloyd your mom's feather? Even if it is only until he gets back it is a little odd for you." Jay asks as he is sitting with Alexis.
"I just thought my lucky charm would be better in his possession. He may need it more than me right now." Alexis says.
"You've grown really close to Lloyd. Kind of like around Cole." Jay says as Alexis looks down slightly.
"Yeah but Cole and I.. It's just he pays attention but it just seems as if he'd rather be somewhere else. But Lloyd I always have fun around him. He's my best friend." Alexis says.
"Well he'll be okay. He's the golden ninja. He's gotten out of tougher situations before." Jay says as Alexis nods before the group get out of the train arriving at their destination.
"I'll stay back. I'm not built for combat." Pixal says as the others get going to make their way in without getting spotted and successfully get in without being spotted.
"That's the substation's core. Shut that down and it's lights out for the overlord. Now if only we knew which switch." Nya says as they arrive where the core is.
"Just start hitting switches. We'll find it one way or another." Alexis says as the group begins to hit switches in attempt to find the right one before an alarm goes off.
"Nindroids! our cover is blown! Seal the doors and find a way to shut it down!" Nya shouts as she sees nindroids on the screen and Zane sees Pixal is fighting them.
"Pixal! Don't seal the door. I'm going out there." Zane says as the group try to stop him but are unable to as he runs outside to help Pixal while Cole opens the door for him a nindroid jumps in before it closes.
"Attack him with the techno blade!" Kai says as the others back near the core as the nindroid is spinning towards them while holding a sword.
"He damaged it." Alexis says as Cole dodges a laser blast from the droid before Alexis sees it hit the core's protective shell and damaged it.
"That's it! Fight without fighting." Kai says.
"This is no time for a lesson Kai." Jay says as he looks at Kai.
"Hey half pint! Over here!" Kai shouts as he makes the nindroid attack the protective shell before jumping beside Alexis and Cole.
"We need to provoke it more." Alexis says.
"Or more nindroids. Nya open the door!" Cole shouts as he looks at Nya.
"I see where you're headed." Nya says as she opens the door letting the nindroids in as the group begin to cause the nindroids to attack the core before they eventually cause the core to disappear and shut down all the nindroids.
"We did it!" Kai says as the group goes outside before stopping as they watch Pixal shut down in Zane's arms as they then go over to him in attempt to comfort him for the loss.
