"This means" - Dark and Kirra talking together

The pink suited girl got paired with the green boy for Team A. The multi-limbed guy was with the half-ice guy in Team B. Team C was the purple midget and the busty ravenette. Team D was Explosion Dude and Metal Armor Man. E was the pink skinned girl and sparkly boy. F was the one who looked like a mountain and the buff guy. Team G was Pikachu and Tear Drop Girl. H was the bird teen and frog. The tailed boy and invisible teen were Team I. Finally, J was Tape and Red guys. Kirra frowned. She had pulled the only K lot.

"Mister Might, sir," she began. "I don't seem to have a team mate?"

The hero nodded his large head. "Yes, quite right! Since there is an odd number of you, you will be assigned a partner from 1-B, as they, too, have twenty-one students!"

From the shadows out-stepped a familiar figure. Dark's bored posture went ragged, his crossed arms tightening close to his chest.

A mop of dark brown hair with forest green on top came into view. Black gauges pierced the pale lobes on either ear. One eye was blue and one was sickly green with black sclera. The clothes were pure black and tight fitting, ripped portions of the pants torn to show pasty skin beneath, and a black cloak with green inside covered his shoulders, hood currently off. A sword in a green scabbard rested horizontally across his back, along with similar small daggers strapped to either thigh. A displeased sneer tugged at his lips as he looked Kirra up and down.

The girl looked to her teacher, eyes wide and mouth agape.

"What? But I don't even know this guy. And there's still an odd number of groups! How does that work?!"

"Now, now, now, calm down! All the teams who are drawn will go back into the boxes once the first five rounds are done, and will be drawn again for the final round to compete with your team! So long as neither member is too badly hurt during the training! The repeated team won't earn a score for this second round." He turned to address everyone. "Am I clear?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Good! Now, then, I declare that the first teams to fight will be... these guys!"

He held up a black ball with 'D' on it, and a white one with 'A'.

"Team A will be the heroes. Team D will be the villains! Everyone else can head to the monitoring rooms to watch."

"Yes, sir!"

The first fight was intense. It was clear those two -Izuku and Bakugo- had past history. The green haired teen was hurt and rushed to the nurse. The next fights weren't too interesting, but Kirra watched, along with Dark, to examine their possible opponents.

Her brown eyes began to stray to that guy, her partner, until she was scolded.

"Don't look his way."

The teen jerked forward again, focusing on the screen. His voice was so harsh. He practically spit out the word in the middle.

'Do you.. know this kid?" she asked mentally.

Silence was all she received for so long that she didn't expect him to answer. So, when he did, her eyes widened a fraction.

"He's anything but a child.. Do not let his appearance fool you."

Then he said nothing more.

Watching the others fight was quite un-entertaining. Kirra noticed that they weren't really fights. None were anywhere nearly as violent as Team A vs D. The duel-haired boy froze the entire building during his round, and everyone in the observation room was freezing except for her. She could see her breath as she exhaled, yet she failed to so much as shiver.

It took what felt like forever for all the teams to duke things out, but it finally came to Kirra's turn. All Might placed the balls into each box, mixed them a little, then pulled. His large hands held up one white ball and one black.

The left, black one displayed her team, K, while the right, white one showed a 'G'. Her brown eyes flicked over to look at her opponents.

The blond guy grinned, pumping his fist into the air.

"Alright! Round two!" He turned to his partner. "This'll be awesome, right?!"

The purple haired teen just sighed, uninterested in his enthusiasm.

"To your starting positions!" their sensie announced.

The teen girl stood beside her partner as they got to their 'weapon'. They hadn't spoken a word the entire trip up the stairs. She could have sworn that the air was as thick as molasses, so much so that she hadn't wanted to break the silence. However, with their five minute head start counting down, she figured someone had to say something.

"So, the blond kid has an electric quirk from what we've discussed. The purple haired girl seemed to have weird dangly ears, kinda like ear phone jacks. Maybe-"

The boy turned his head to glare heatedly at her, making the words die on the tip of her tongue. Why was he so hostile?

"I don't need your help," he sneered.

Kirra could feel Dark stir in her mind, displeased to be so disrespected. She wondered why he hadn't physically come out of her consciousness. He had made an almost hasty retreat when the teen appeared.

'Is he.. scared?'

She could hear the entity scoff.

"Me? Scared of that nitwit? Don't provide him any credit of the sort."

'So, then, why won't you come out? You say you hate being 'cramped'.'

As if her taunting worked, Darkiplier formed a body beside her. His arms were crossed over his chest as usual, but his expression was colder than that duel-haired boy's ice.

Seeing him, the 1-B guy turned to fully face the pair, a mocking smirk on his lips.

"And what do we owe the pleasure of being graced with your presence, Edge Lord?"

Kirra snickered slightly, finding the insult fitting of the dramatic and solitary Dark. Said demon gave her a glare to put Aizawa to shame before he cracked his neck and addressed their other team member.

"Possessing children, now, AntiSepticEye? How low of you."

Anti, as Dark had named him, rolled his mis-matched eyes.

"You're one to talk. Hanging around quirkless girls? Did she give you any eye-liner tips?"

The full-grown man scowled.

"Look," the ravenette cut in. "We don't have time for whatever this-" she gestured between them both, "-is. We have less than four minutes to plan our attack and defense, and I'd like to not fail our first major hero assignment, so can we please move along?!"

The pair grew quiet before Anti scoffed and shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Whatever. And, don't call me that ridiculous name. Our name is Kaen."

Kirra noted that he said 'our', and not 'my'.

"Okay.. Kaen. What can you do?"

The teen scuffed his shoe against the floor.

"I have what some call 'electrokinesis'. I can distort electronic and battery operated things. I can 'glitch' through things and air. I can hop between electronics. That sort of stuff."

"And I Dark and I can emit EMP-like interference and use magic, which is versatile."

"Two minutes remaining!" All Might called through the ear pieces.

Nodding, the girl stroked her chin. "Right. Here's what we can do."

"Can you hear them?" Kiminari asked Jiro, glancing around.

The purple haired girl shushed her partner, earjack connected to the wall. She closed her eyes to block out distractions.

"...They're on the sixth floor.. both of them."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

The blonde took off to the stairs, eager to come face-to-face with the ravenette girl. Not only was she kinda cute, but she also seemed to have a sort of electric quirk.

'Electric vs electric,' he thought excitedly. 'We'll see who wields it better!'

Jiro and Denki finally made it up the stairs, attempting to keep their footsteps light. They both flanked the door they knew the weapon was in, the girl's jacks in the wall. She nodded to her team mate, giving him the go-ahead.

Kiminari slammed the door open, releasing his quirk so that it fired into the entire room ahead of him, but not enough to short his brain.

"Gotcha!" he shouted gleefully.

However, as the brightness of his quirk died, he saw a large, black sphere in front of the paper weapon. It seemed to have sucked all the light around it completely, like a black hole. The sphere quickly dissolved, showing both 'villains' unfazed.

"You talk big game," the green teen remarked. "But let's see you handle this."

He threw both daggers on his thighs in the blink of an eye, each landing on either side of the blond.

"Ha, missed me!"

"Did I?" Kaen smirked.

The handles of each blade was hollow, a sort of sickly green liquid filling it. With the flick of his wrist, the handle's opened a secret compartment, spilling with liquid. As soon as enough spilled out, green electric crackled to life, the lightning zapping Kiminari, who, in turn, used his own quirk to try and mitigate the effects. However, the blades' electricity didn't die out, and seemed to feed of Denki's.

"If I were you, I wouldn't stop. As soon as you do, whatever shield you have against that will go with it."

'Damn it!' Jiro cursed mentally. 'They planned on us trying to ambush them! Maybe I can disrupt this dude's quirk if I distract him?'

The teen plugged her earphone jacks into her legs, letting her heart beat out in loud, disruptive pounds. A snap of fingers, however, and blue and red light sparked to life on her legs, making her yelp and retract her jacks.

Kirra tisked, her eyes black. "We didn't forget about you." She nodded to her partner.

Kaen took out the capture tape, wrapping a portion around his hand.

"Well, this was boring. I expected more of a fight. Oh well."

"Villain team wins!"

Author's Note: I'm not the best with action sequences, which is why I've put off updating this. I hope it's passable, haha.
