Chapter EX 2: Reversi/Starting in a new world from Zero Gaiden
It had been a rather long time since I last thought of home…
I wonder if my parents have given up in finding me.
This story is crazy, no one ever remembers…
But to me, it was a dream that I wished it did not end.
How did it come to be?
No clue, but how about we jump into it shall we?
It was just after the Wolgarm incident, we were talking a bit about the "land" I hailed from.
"Uhmm I see, so in your land there is no magic uh? It sounds rather boring" Puck said.
"Well I don't know about that, we have things there that you don't in here, we have things that work with energy not derived from magic so everyone has access to energy for their houses in order to light the house warm and like that" I said.
"That sounds ludicrous, how is the energy created then?" Ram asked
"Well, we used many ways to create energy, we used the energy from the splitting atoms, we also used the energy from steam, also… coal… and the waves from the ocean" I said.
"That's incredible Subaru-kun" Rem said with shine in her eyes.
"That's right, but… what is an ocean?" Emilia asked.
That's right, in this world there is no such things as oceans, just a rather large lake, this world was rather small.
There was an attempt made by me to explain as much as I could, but I was not able to properly express the wonders of my world, but without actually saying I was from another world, they wouldn't believe me.
"That story is so boring and untrue, would you mind not telling lies-kashira?" Beako said annoyed at my story.
It rather irked me that while I knew what I was saying, there was nothing parallel to what I had in my world.
It was on those rare moments that I had some time to kill that I decided to wander around the state, I got myself deep into the woods when something… odd appeared.
It was then when, in an odd twist of fate, meet a beautiful lady with a shop, she was a well endowed woman with fair skin and a curvaceous figure. She has brown eyes and straight brown hair reaching down to the front of her shoulders and further behind her back, slightly curling at the tips. Truly a beauty that even i would have fallen if I had not meet Emilia-tan.
Next to her was a masked man with a rather fancy suit, it seemed like they were running a store, and for some reason they looked… familiar?
A teacher? A school nurse… what?
Shaking my head to clear those thoughts the masked man looked at me.
"Hahahah young man with the scary eyes but no knowledge of things, you seem to be in need of something to help get your point across, don't you?" The man said.
"Awesome! It's like you read my mind or something! Hey are you a spirit or something like that?" I asked.
"Hahahahaaa not at all, please don't compare me with such things, anyways, I just gotten across this magical item, it should be great for you, as it will help show your reality to them! Think of it like Virtual Reality made with realistic illusions, all type of sensory feedback! So… will you be interested in buying?" He said as he leaned VERY close to me and smiled.
I backed up a bit, but with the burning desire to show them my world…
"So… how much will it be?" I asked.
"How about… 5 gold coins?" The man said.
"Uhmm… yea, for something like this 5 gold coins would be very good, however how about you sweeten the deal a bit, how about 3 gold and 4 silver?" I said. "I seem to be the only costumer you had in quite a while by the looks of it" I said with a smirk, paying him back for that cheek of his.
"Oooh, that is rather good negotiation skill right there young man, as a former zero income boy your haggling skills seem quite good however" he said with honesty.
"True, as a former hikikomori I learned how to survive with as little money as possible" I said.
I paid for the item as we negotiated at 4 gold coins.
"Oh dear, you poor thing, please do take care of yourself" the lady said.
"No problem thank you both… oh… wait I forgot to introduce myself, the name is Natsuki Subaru, not only am I clueless but broke beyond compare, or was… I am earning some money working as a butler… and you two?" I asked.
"The name is Vanir young man"he said with a lot of flourish as he bowed with a hand behind his back.
"My name is Wiz, thank you very much for your purchase and may we meet again sometime" she said.
"OSU! Thanks a lot you two, please take care!" I said as I took the magic item… the metia, with me.
Once I reached home I took the metia and found that it came with instructions.
So after I finished my and Ram's chores (cause she couldn't be bothered) I decided to spring this on them.
"Yo! Everyone, I got a nifty thing, the person who sold it to me told me that I could show you my land with it, something about using my mind to show you through it" I said with a childlike smile.
"Then we will not be able to see anything, considering how empty your mind is" Ram brutally said to me.
"Wow nee-san you're really tearing into me today, but I don't care! Cause I will finally be able to show you how my homeland is!" I said with a finger pointing to the sky.
"OYAAAAA~ Subaru-kun, what is this you brought? It seems like a metia of sorts, and it will show your homeland you spoke of? If you doooooo~n't mind may I also partake of this?" Roswaal asked.
"Maybe next time? It only works for like 6 people including me, maybe next time?" I said as I read the instructions.
So I set the metia in the table on the room, I connected some of the output sensors to my head as I set all sensory stimulation to max, so they could experience everything as realistic as possible.
"All systems GO! Let's jump full dive! LINK START!" I said.
When the metia activated my eyes went blank just as all the others passed out.

I woke up feeling like when Rem killed me with her flail that time… it was rather painful but that meant I was still alive. I looked around and saw…
"No way…" I gasped.
My right hand was holding Emilia while my left was holding Rem, while Beako was on my back with Puck in her head. Ram was holding Rem's hand.
I was literally in front of the convenience store I was transported from.
I blinked as the light hurt a bit as my eyes got used to the light due the sudden change of illumination.
"Beako, please get off" I said with a pained grunt.
She glared at me but moved off me.
"Emilia-tan, Rem, Ram, are you all ok?" I asked with concern
"Uh? Subaru? Wha… what happened, I remember we were in the room ready to try that metia you got when… I can't remember what happened."Emilia said as she closed her eyes trying to concentrate.
"Barasu possibly drugged us and has kidnapped to feast his overwhelming lust for us, sister we may be in danger" Ram said.
"WRONG! I just woke a few seconds ago, followed by Beako, I woke you two cause… well, we are in my homeland, Welcome to Japan" I said as I stretched my arms wide.
They marveled at the constructions, the tall buildings and the paved road.
However they got confused looks from the people around.
"Ah!I forgot, they don't have beings like you around so I better make sure you girls blend in, let's go to my home" I said as I lead them to my place.
I was forgetting something important.
