After finally arriving in Kakariko Village, Zelda relayed everything that happened to Impa. From Malice to the Master Sword refusing to enter its pedestal, each detail made Impa more worried. "Sigh...Come. There is something i need to show you." Impa tapped a part of a wooden wall in a certain pattern, and a hole with a scroll inside it reveiled itself. The reincarnation of the Demon King was never the Calamity. Since ancient times the leader of the sheikah tribe was tasked with protecting and passing down a prophecy.
"He who will terrify Ganon to the point of it fearing the next time it shall be reborn shall end a circle doomed to repeat itself untill the end of time, slaying the torment of twilight, wrath of winds and terror of time. Wiping the soul of the hero, the blood of the goddess, and the hatred of evil from existence". Zelda feared that the very specific choice of words meant her and Link's deaths as well. "You must track Ganon down, and do whatever is necessary to put an end to Hyrule's suffering." Impa said.
Link was just starting to get used to the peace and quiet, save from a few bokoblins which would, with time, fade away due to the absence of the blood moon. Or so they thought. "If the blood moon was caused by Ganon becoming powerfull enough to revive the fallen due to the red moon causing absolute darkness, does this mean that the blood moon will still occur?" Link inquired. Impa nodded. "You must go. Calamity Ganon had the advantage of transferring itself into the sheikah technology. However, sheikah records state that some incarnations of Ganon had taken on a human form, Ganondorf, who had lived along with the hero's and princesses of twilight, wind and time. This means that this new threat takes a human, and thus physical form. I suggest you work on restoring the divine beasts and guardians to protect the inhabitants from the monsters which will come with the next blood moon, as you two will have other matters to attend to.
Link and Zelda did as Impa said, and figured that restoring guardians near vulnerable settlements like Hateno and Lurelin was probably a good idea. Zelda tasked Link with restoring the guardians, while she started work on the restoration of Hyrule castle, castle town, research labs and other important places that we're destroyed by the Great Calamity
