Let this act as a part 2 to the last chapter.

SHIELD Helicarrier, New York City, NY.

Saturday Morning, Sept. 11th, 10:58 a.m.

"It took you all long enough." Fury said, his voice commanding.

"Well I can't speak for the rest, but Scarlet Spider, Arachne, and I were at the airport seeing our Aunt and Coulson off." Peter spoke up.

"Right, so then he was successful."

"What do you mean successful?" Ava asked, her curiosity getting the best of her.

"Agent Coulson was given a special assignment: get May Parker out of the city and protect her from anything that threatens her safety. This protocol was thought up as a contingency plan in the event that one of Spider-Man's Rogues were to ever figure out his identity."

"I knew that trip was way too sudden for it to be a coincidence, but wait, as far as I know, that trip was sent into motion before the attack on the school." Ben entered the conversation.

"And you would be correct, that protocol was put into motion exactly two weeks ago when Phil and May were out on a personal excursion, Coulson had noticed that the two were being tailed, but since he was too busy trying to make sure Ms. Parker didn't notice their follower, he never got the chance to discover the person's identity, only able to get their rough measurements." Fury had explained. "The stalker was a Caucasian male around 6 ft in height and likely around 190 lbs, but despite his rather large size, Agent Coulson described him as silent and quick on his feet, as if the assailant knew that Coulson was aware of his presence and so never let Phil get a good look at him for too long, although Phil did notice that the assailant had rather long brown hair."

The three spider people acknowledged each other with knowing looks, already knowing who this man was, especially Ben. "Okay then, so at least we know that he isn't here for me." Ben stated.

"You mind explaining as to why this mysterious stalker would be here for you, or better yet, how you and the girl came to be in the first place? because Mr. Parker had seemed to have left that out the last time we spoke."

"Well to put it simply Director Fury, Ben and I are clones of Peter Parker, with that, so is the man that was tailing Agent Coulson and May that night." Jess spoke up quickly as she was not sure of how her brother would respond to Fury's question. "During Peter's first year of being Spider-Man, specifically after the tragic death of Gwen Stacy, a professor at Midtown named Miles Warren, who had secretly been in love with Stacy, went insane and blamed Spider-Man for her death."

"In order to exact his revenge on me, Warren created an elixir that apparently was supposed to turn me into a giant Man Spider to wreak havoc on the city, eventually setting the Stacy home on fire to lure me into a trap, although Warren couldn't have accounted for my spider sense and his plan backfired, causing him to be doused in his own creation, after I was able to put the fire out I searched the entire residence, but I couldn't manage to find his body." Peter continued.

"Though unbeknownst to Peter, Miles had started calling himself "The Jackal" and managed to get a hold of some of his DNA, which inspired him to try and create the ultimate clone to take Spider-Man down and a few months later, Kaine: the first clone, was born, but he was unstable, Kaine had and still has severe cellular deterioration and it wasn't just killing him, it was also driving him insane, which it succeeded in doing. Not much time later, I and the other clones were "born", though there was one key significant factor that Jessica and I possessed that the others didn't, we didn't have any deterioration, but even though Jessica was also technically "perfect" he labeled me "the Perfect Clone", this only drove Kaine even further insane out of jealousy."

"After Ben managed to escape captivity, he took the opportunity to free our clone brothers and sisters and a couple weeks later even after promising not to, Ben had an encounter with Peter, though it took awhile, he was finally made completely aware of what was going on and we all collectively came together and decided to take down Jackal, he had another clone that he kept a secret in okay something like that ever happened, the time was called Spidercide, created to kill people, more specifically, Spider people, eventually the hulking clone went down, but not without sacrifice, they were more of us, now there's just three."

Fury kept on a poker face throughout the entire story and though they couldn't tell, Fury felt ashamed that he had let all of this happen in his city, right under his nose. "So by process of elimination, I can make the assumption that the man who was following them that night is indeed this "Kaine" person, correct?" The three spider people nodded in agreement as Nick took time to think. "Alright, anything else? Anything on the attack on Midtown High."

"Sir, we've come to the conclusion that the incident was a distraction… for Spider-Man." Ava informed him. "I also personally believe that May Parker should be safe to come back to New York at any time, I think Arachne is better able to explain my thoughts."

Ava finished, gesturing to Jess. "Between Ben and I, I know Kaine the best and despite what he likes to show, Kaine is a nicer person than he likes to let on, so I doubt he had any hostile intentions when he was tailing Aunt May that night, I believe that he was checking in on her rather than any alternative, May Parker is one of the few people that walks his planet that he refuses to lay a finger on, I'm also one of those people, but point is, I highly doubt that he would reveal Spider-Man's identity to his enemies because doing so would put May's life in jeopardy and he knows that, the attack on Midtown was only a distraction to keep Spider-Man in a place that whoever Kaine is working with wanted him to be." She explained. "My best guess as to who he's working with would be Octavius, during the attack, Otto had been meeting with someone across the city, likely some kind of SHIELD informant placed for intel. From what I could hear, he was receiving information on the whereabouts of previously known Sinister Six members."

"Are you suggesting that he intends on breaking them out of prison, Ms. Drew?" Nicholas asked.

"Yes sir, but most of the names that were mentioned didn't worry me too much, so that leaves me to believe that he's planning something bigger than just another Sinister Six team up, he is way too intelligent to his waste time on breaking out a team to kill Spider-Man that's already been defeated by Spider-Man before." She paused, thinking back. "I was ready to dismiss the thought until Otto brought up the name of the man who came closest to doing the deed… Norman Osborn."

"So he doesn't plan on using the Six to kill Parker (or at not yet anyway), but rather using them to break out Osborn." Ava said in layman's terms. "Fortunately for us, Norman's location remains top secret at all times, even from his own son, though Harry doesn't seem to have a problem with it."

"But if Otto really does plan on breaking them out then I can't take any chances when it comes to moving Electro tomorrow." Fury declared, using his advanced watch to summon something or more like someone.

Everyone watched as the door proceeded to open revealing a well built natural blonde haired man who stood at exactly 6'1", wearing the regular blue SHIELD uniform, he then stood in an militaristic position once he was positioned right next to Fury.

"You see that? That's how you wear blonde." Arachne jokes, softly hitting Scarlet Spider in the shoulder, though almost everyone in the room knew what she was referring to.

"Hello everyone, I am Agent Thompson and I hope to be of assistance to you in whatever way I can." He said, as Spidey stood there speechless, not knowing what to say as this was the first time in a while.

"Thompson? As in Flash Thompson?" Spider-Man finally managed to say.

"Oh, you remember me? Well, I guess it was hard not to when I basically tortured you for years, for that I'm still very sorry." Flash admitted and apologized, though it was not his apology that surprised him, it was the fact that he was apologizing in the first place.

"What? Why are you saying sorry? You haven't done anything to me." He said. "Well at least not this me."

"Right, the whole secret identity thing. Look, even though it was under regrettable circumstances, I've known you for years, I was one of the first people to see your hero complex, how long did you think it was going to take me to figure it out if you suddenly be able to pick up someone of my size and slam them into the lockers wasn't already a dead giveaway, Parker?" Flash finished, calling Peter by his last name.

This prompted Peter to take off his mask, not receiving a single look of shock from anyone in the room, which admittedly, peeved him off a bit. "I thought you sent my secret identity wasn't in the system, Fury?!"

"It isn't, the only people within SHIELD personnel who are aware that Peter Parker is Spider-Man are myself, Agent Coulson, and of course Agent Thompson here, and like said, he figured it out all on his own, but has assured that he hadn't told anyone." Fury responded

"You and your alter ego were an instrumental part of helping me turn my life around, it was the only way I could say thank you at the time." Flash reassured him. "But back to the reason I was called in the first place, which I assume is about the convoy carrying Dillon tomorrow, Sir?"

"Your assumption would be correct, Agent Thompson." Fury confirmed. "According to the information given by Arachne here, a man known as Dr. Otto Octavius may plan on attacking the convoy to bust out Mr. Dillon and use him to break out any and all their other cohorts, this is a list that includes Norman Osborn, so I'm assigning you more men and whatever you do, make sure Electro stays in that box."

"Yes sir."

Saturday Night, Sept. 11, 7:59 p.m.

"So are you going to talk to me or are you going to continue to sit there, brooding." Jessica asked in a joking tone.

"Brooding alone would be preferable, but it was saying that I'm not going to get that anytime soon." He responded.

"Wow, you didn't even take a single page from him, you're just writing a sequel to Batman's entire goddamn book." She kept joking. "C'mon dude! Smile again, Kaine's supposed to be the one that's angry 24/7. Kaine is walking anger management issues, Abelle was batshit crazy, Jack was sweet, Tarantula was living happiness, you were the responsible one, and I was the goofball."

"Jess, you and I both know that we haven't been those people for a very long time, Kaine for even longer, us being a family again is nothing more than a pipe dream fueled by our remorse for the loss of our brothers." She looked at him with sadness in her eyes, still having a hard time accepting what he just said.

"It may be too late for Abelle, Jack, or Tarantula, but that's all the more reason we shouldn't give up on him, Ben." She said. "Our brother may be gone but he isn't lost and yes, I called him our brother because that's exactly what he is, our brother, one of the only ones we have left, y'know he still refers to you as his brother, right?"

"Yeah, out of spite, everything he does he does solely because he knows that it will inconvenience me in some way, shape, or form, if he isn't lost already then he definitely fooled me." He retorted.

"Well he's definitely fooled you, because for the past year or so, Kaine has agreed to work with me from time to time, he's not completely put together, but I was able to get through to him, through to our brother, Ben."

"And to choose to tell me now?" He was now the one who couldn't believe what the other was saying. He couldn't possibly fathom the idea of Kaine helping someone that's not himself. "How long do you think you have before he betrays you?!"

"I didn't tell you before because I knew you'd be like this just assume that he was only using me just to get to you!" She defended. "Despite what you may think, can't entire life doesn't revolve around you! It doesn't, it shouldn't, and even if it could, it wouldn't!"

"So we're just forgetting how much shit he puts me through?! Puts us through?!"

"No! I'm not saying we should forget, but rather we try to understand and forgive." Jessica said, Ben still couldn't believe what he was hearing. "That's why I came to you in the first place, I want you to help me find a cure for Kaine."

"And if I refuse?"

"Nothing. I'm going to help my brother with or without you, there's nothing you could say to stop me, Ben." She finished, walking away from the table, leaving him alone to ponder to himself

Alright, so you know how I said Flash wouldn't appear in the Kaine Arc? Yeah, I lied, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Agent Venom is going to show that black and gooey buttocks of his around here.
