It had been roughly a week since Taylor joined the Global Trainer Society and Emily was busy showing her around and introducing her to some of the other members, as first they stopped by a girl who looked similar to Taylor in height and medium length crimson hair and a slightly tanned complexion and she had a cheery smile on her face as she smiled at Emily and Taylor before Emily said to Taylor, "This lass here is Katelyn, she's our Comms expert."

Taylor smiled at Katelyn as she waved at her and said, "Hi, I'm Taylor. It's nice to meet you Katelyn." And Katelyn still had that cheery smile on her face as she replied,

"Likewise, I have a feeling that we are gonna get on great together Taylor."

Then Taylor and Emily walked over towards a rather tall looking boy with messy brown hair and matching beard and slightly lighter complexion before Emily said to Taylor with a smile on her face, "And this big fella is Drew, and he is in charge of looking after any Pokémon we rescue until we can locate their Trainer and reunite them with their Pokémon." And Drew smiled at Taylor as he said to her with a smile on his face,

"Nice to meet you, it's good to have some fresh faces around here once in a while."

Taylor felt a little intimidated by Drew as she sheepishly replied, "Y-yeah, it's nice to meet you too Drew. My name's Taylor." And Emily smiled at Taylor which made her blush a little as she said to her,

"Relax lass, Drew here might look big and scary but deep down this fella ain't nothin' but a big ol' softie. The only time Drew gets serious is when someone threatens me or anyone here which includes you lass."

Once Emily had finished introducing Taylor to the other members of the Global Trainer Society, they stood in front of the rather large looking tent as Taylor asked Emily, "So...how many of you guys are there?" and Emily smiled at Taylor as she answered,

"Honestly, there's only a few of us right now, but our goal one day is to have camps like this set up in every region and have a communication link between those camps. I know it won't be easy lass but...I'm determined to make our goal a reality one day."

And Taylor stood there and looked at Emily in awe as she replied, "Wow Emily, that is...actually quite a noble goal to have. I'm honestly impressed..." as she trailed off and frowned a little as she added, "I just hope I can get my Pokémon Jay stole from me back..."

Emily then wrapped her arms around Taylor in a hug making her blush slightly as she looked into her eyes and said to her with a reassuring look on her face, "Taylor lass...situations like yers is why we exist in the first place, we'll help ya be reunited with ya partner again soon. That's a promise." And Taylor wasn't really sure what to say in reply so she just looked back at Emily as she faintly smiled and replied,

"Thank you Emily, I told Officer Jenny what happened but...she hasn't found anything yet. I miss my Monferno as she helped me get my first contest ribbon...even if it is only a silver one."

Later...

Whilst Emily and Taylor were busy talking with each other outside the rather large looking tent, Katelyn came over to them and blushed a little as she said to Emily, "Emily, we received a report about an Eevee that had been abandoned by its Trainer." And Emily blushed a little as she quickly released the hug from Taylor and looked at Katelyn as she replied,

"T-this isn't what ya think it is lass, I-I was just trying to reassure Taylor that we will find her stolen Pokemon that's all, anyway, do we know where about this Eevee was abandoned?"

Katelyn then looked at her sheet of paper she was holding for a moment before she looked back at Emily as she replied, "Yeah, the report says that the Eevee was left just outside Mt. Coronet." And Emily had a beaming smile on her face as she turned to Taylor and said to her,

"Ye can go with me to Mt. Coronet to look for this abandoned Eevee lass, besides, since you're one of us now you'll need the experience of what we do here."

And Taylor blushed a little again as she replied to Emily, "O-oh yeah, I guess you're right Emily if I am going to be helping you guys then I guess I'll need an understanding of how you guys do actually help Pokémon be reunited with their Trainers." Before Emily then nodded her head in agreement and they both then started walking towards Mt. Coronet.

As they were walking to Mt. Coronet with their cloaks on and their hoods up, Emily asked Taylor, "So tell me lass, why did ya choose to be a Coordinator? Most trainers I know either want to be a Pokémon master or a Pokémon breeder" and Taylor thought about her answer before she took a deep breath as she eventually answered Emily,

"I chose to be Pokémon Coordinator, because when I was a little girl I would sit down in front of the TV with my mother and watch the Pokémon contest every time it was on. Then one day when I was watching the Pokémon contest with my mother I sat there and said "when I grow up I'm gonna be the best Pokémon Coordinator in the Sinnoh region." And my mother would smile and laugh as she rubbed my head and said to me "You will be a great Pokémon Coordinator Taylor one day."

Emily laughed a little as she said with a smile on her face, "Well, ya certainly on ya way if ya keep putting on incredible performances like ya did in the Jubilife City contest lass, what's the next contest yer thinkin' of entering anyway?" and Taylor giggled a little herself as she smiled back at Emily as she replied,

"The next contest I plan on entering is the Eterna City contest, as I have some friends travelling there to wait for me as we all agreed to meet there together."

Mt. Coronet entrance...

When they arrived at the entrance to Mt. Coronet, Emily and Taylor found themselves surrounded by some Trainers as one of them said to them, "You two look pretty lost, we'll be happy to point you in the right direction...for a price of course." And Taylor slowly placed her egg she was carrying inside her bag and placed her bag on the ground next to her.

Taylor and Emily then stood back to back with each other before Taylor said to Emily, "What do we do now Emily?" and Emily glanced back at Taylor as she calmly replied,

"This is a common trap inexperienced Trainers or bandits like to use, so for now we do the only thing we can do lass, and that's fight 'em in a Pokémon battle."

Emily then grabbed a Poke ball from her pocket and threw it into the air as she said, "Buizel, let's go I choose you!" and Buizel appeared from its Poke ball in front of Emily looking ready to battle as it cried out, "Buizel!" and Taylor held her Poke dex over Emily's Buizel as it said,

"Buizel, the sea weasel Pokémon. It stores air in the sacs on its neck and uses them as flotation devices, and swims by spinning its two tails like a propeller."

Taylor then carefully considered which Pokémon she was going to use as she thought to herself, "Ok, if Emily is using her Buizel then...what Pokémon could I use that would compliment that?" before she then took Riolu's Poke ball from her belt and threw it into the air as she said, "Ryu, let's go I choose you!" and Riolu appeared from its Poke ball in front of Taylor and Taylor crouched down to meet its eyes as she said to it,"This will be our first battle together, Ok? So let's do our best!"

Riolu then nodded its head as it smiled at Taylor and cried out, "Riolu!" before the Trainers surrounding them then sent out their Pokémon, which were a mixture of Rock type Pokémon ranging from Onix to Geodude, before one of the Trainers called out an attack as he said, "Onix, use Rock smash!" and both Emily and Taylor called out to their Pokemon in unison,

"Dodge it!"

Both Buizel and Riolu jumped out of the way in opposite directions as the Trainer's Onix came smashing down into the ground next to them before Emily said to her Pokémon, "Buizel, use Aqua jet!" and her Buizel nodded its head as a stream of water surrounded it and it charged into the Onix sending it flying across the road and knocking unconscious in the process.

Meanwhile Taylor said to her Pokémon, "Ryu, use Calm mind!" and her Riolu stood there and closed its eyes as it tried to empty its mind and focus before it then opened its eyes again with renewed focus in its eyes, and then Taylor called her next move as she said to her Pokémon, "Ryu, use Force palm!" and Riolu leaped into the air towards one of the Trainer's Geodude as it channelled energy into its palm before striking it with all of its force knocking the Geodude flying into its trainer and across the road.

The other Trainers then scattered in slight fear and Taylor yelled after them, "Yeah that's right, there'll be more where that came from if you try that again. Cowards!" and Emily smiled slightly smiled at Taylor before she said to her,

"That was a good battle Taylor, but don't ya think ye were a little rough?"

And Taylor smiled at Emily as she replied, "No, I don't think I was rough at all, come on we came here to find an Eevee that had been abandoned didn't we?" and Emily kept an eye on Taylor as they walked together trying to look for the Eevee that was reportedly abandoned by its Trainer as Emily said,

"Right...the Eevee, maybe one of us should look in one place while the other person looks in another lass?"

Taylor smiled at Emily as she said, "That's a great idea Emily, Come on Ryu, let's see if we can help this Eevee that has been abandoned by their Trainer." As her Riolu walked with her as they walked by a bush near the entrance of Mt. Coronet and Emily said to her Pokémon, "Come on Buizel, let's check this way and see if we can find that Eevee." And Buizel followed behind Emily as the two girls looked in different areas in hopes to find the abandoned Eevee.

A few minutes later...

As Taylor was walking with her Riolu and looking in different places trying to find the abandoned Eevee, Riolu stopped in its tracks as it looked up at Taylor with a slight frown on its face as it cried out, "Riolu, Riolu!" and Taylor turned to her Pokémon and looked a little confused as she asked it, "What's wrong Ryu?"

And Riolu still had a slight frown on its face as it pointed at Taylor and cried out, "Riolu, Riolu, Riolu!" and Taylor softly smiled at her Riolu as she said to it, "Don't be silly Ryu, there's nothing wrong with me, besides we won the battle didn't we? So what is there to worry about." Before she then went back to looking for the abandoned Eevee and Riolu frowned as it also looked around for the Eevee, sensing something was wrong with its Trainer."

After a while of searching, Taylor eventually found the Eevee hiding among the bushes and it looked scared as Taylor approached it as it backed up slowly, before Taylor then crouched down to get eye level with it as she said to the Eevee with a smile on her face, "It's Ok Eevee, I'm not gonna hurt you, I just want to help you that's all." And the Eevee looked apprehensive at Taylor as it cried out, "E-Eevee?"

Taylor then pulled a berry out from her pocket and held her hand out to the scared Eevee as she said to it with a smile, "See? I just wanna help you, come on you must be hungry, why not have one of my delicious berries I found?" and so the scared Eevee nervously walked towards Taylor and sniffed the berry she had in her hand before swallowing it into its mouth and chewed on it for a few moments, before it then slowly started to smile as it looked at Taylor and happily cried out, "Eevve!"

Then Taylor smiled as she backed up a little from the bushes as she said to the Eevee, "You like that? I have more if you want them." As she held out her hand again, this time with a few more berries on them and the Eevee slowly emerged from the bushes and walked towards Taylor and started munching at the berries in her hand and happily smiled as it cried out with a small mouthful, "Eevee!"

Emily then walked over to Taylor with her Buizel and smiled as she saw her feeding the Eevee before she said to her, "I see ya managed to find the abandoned Eevee then lass. You can keep it if ya want? After all the poor mite is gonna need someone to take care of it." And so Taylor smiled back at Emily before she looked at the Eevee and held out a Poke ball as she said to it,

"What do you say Eevee? Wanna come along with me? Think of all the fun we can have together!"

And Eevee jumped and danced around in happiness as it cried out, "Eevee, Eevee!" before it then used one of its paws to press the button on the Poke ball as it opened and Eevee disappeared inside, and Taylor held the Poke ball in her hand for a few minutes staring at the red light as it wobbled around in her hand before finally making a clicking sound signalling Eevee had been caught and Taylor held her newly caught Eevee up high as she proudly exclaimed, "Alright! I just caught an Eevee!"

Then Taylor looked at her Eevee's Poke ball in her hand for a few minutes as she thought about what to name it before she finally said, "I think I'll name you...Shadow." before she then held out her Riolu's Poke ball and said to it, "You were great Ryu! Now get some rest, return!" and Riolu disappeared inside its Poke ball.

Emily then did the same with her Buizel, before she then smiled at Taylor as she said, "Well, that's that then lass, we should head back to base and get somethin' to eat because I'm starvin'" and Taylor smiled back at Emily as she nodded her head in agreement before they both then started walking back towards the base together.

And as Taylor was walking with Emily back to the base she thought to herself, "I will get you back no matter what Cinder! I'll use any means necessary...no matter what it costs me!" and Emily also thought to herself,

"I like this Taylor lass, but...I am worried about the fact her Pokémon bein' stolen is driving her down a dark path. I've witnessed too many good people forsake everything to get the Pokémon they love back to them. Just how far are ya willin' to go to get yer Monferno back Taylor?"
