The screen lit showing Melody in a changing room. She was dressed in a white fencing suit, hair in a pony." It's okay," she whispered to herself, placing her mask over her head. She grabbed her saber, inhaling deeply."You're okay," she repeated pulling her mask down, following the rest of her fellow fencers out.

"Oh ya we get see her kick-ass," Alix said.

Lined up, Camille stepped in front."Pair up and we're going to go through basic drills," she stated, blowing on her whistle.

Melody turned, seeing that almost everyone knew one another even without seeing each other's faces.

"No legs," a voice called from behind.

Rude is what Luka wanted to say but he kept looking down at Kagami who was still white as a ghost.

She turned to a person, a boy her age stepping forward with his sword flexed."I have a name," she replied, stepping up to him.

"Ya standup for yourself girl," Alya wahooed.

"You think I care?" he asked, mask pulled over his face." Come on, let's see what you can do," he said, head held high.

"I don't like this guy," Nino said the other's murmuring in agreeance.

Melody gritted her teeth beneath her mask."Let's,"

"This is gonna be good," Alya said, rubbing her hands together.

Stepping onto a mat, the boy held his saber out, waiting for Melody to do the same." Engarde," he called out, lunging forward. Hearing the word, the gears in her mind clicked and she easily lunged forward like she was being told orders. Hitting him in the chest, she snapped out of it, stepping back. Beneath his mask, the boy watched her every move, observing and learning the exact way she fenced.

As they entered the fourth heat, a few of the people surrounding them had begun watching."You know you don't belong here," he whispered as their masks passed. Melody ignored it, continuing to attempt a hit but missing."You won't make it anywhere."

"isn't that cheating?" Marinette asked.

"Not really I guess," Adrien answered."There's usually no talking at all."

"Well nevertheless this guy is a jerk," Mylene said.

"Shut up," she cursed quietly, throwing her saber above her head.

"Make me no legs," he said slyly, but with no rude attempt in his voice. It was cold and dry.

"Ooh, he's asking for it."

"My name is Melody," she stated, pushing him to the ground and pointing her saber at his chest." Allez," she said, a few people clapping while some others snickered.

Almost the entire class cheered in her win.

The snickers came from behind the fallen boy. All their masks were removed and she assumed they were his friends." Losing to a girl? Thought you were better than that Ricci." they laughed.

"Aww," Rose frowned.

"You feel bad for him dudette?" Nino asked.

"His friends are making fun of it, it's wrong," she said.

"Well, he's making fun of Melody," Ivan said.

"Switch," Camille called out, moving her saber in a circle.

The boy stood up, from on his face as he pulled up his mask. Leaning forward his dark brown eyes glared at her." In a technical form, you're perfect. But you have no enjoyment. It's easy to get in your head. Work on that no legs." he informed her, turning around without another word.

"Why's he giving her advice?" Alya questioned

Melody watched, confused but angered at the same time.

The screen changed to after the practice."Hey!" she shouted running up to the boy from earlier.

"You again," he frowned.

"Look what's your deal?" she asked, anger in her tone.

"Drama," Alya said in a jazz hand cueing tone.

He cocked his head to the side, no emotion in his pale face."What?"

"One second you're insulting me and the next you're giving me advice."

"You should listen to it," he said, turning to all down the sidewalk.

Melody frowned, following him."Why would you be giving me advice?"

"Yes explain."

He sighed, turning to her."Because you have wasted potential. If your stupid and stay too technical, not letting yourself enjoy the game, then you'll be kicked."

"It... makes sense," Adrien said, a little shocked the boy on the screen had been correct.

Melody continued to look at him, confused.

"Look, no legs, you're good. You're really good at fencing. But you can't just be good, you have to enjoy it. And you weren't enjoying anything about our match."

Biting her bottom lip, her fist tensed."My name is Melody, mud hair."

"Hah!" Kim laughed.

The boy laughed breathly with zero emotion."Funny, and I have a name too."

She waited da moment but got no answer."You going to tell me?"

"Carmine," he answered."You have work Melody, but you also have potential." he said turning and beginning to walk back down the street."Don't let it go to waste."

"I can't tell if he's trying to help her or hates her," Alya said.

"You'll have to wait," Iris said, not revealing anything.

I love Carmin soooo much. Can't wait to write more chapters with him. I assume some of you assume Carmin is Lila's son, he's not. He's Italian yes, but Lila's last name is Rossi and his is Ricci. Sorry for any confusion but she isn't related to him in any way. Sry for the short chapter, I wanted to get it out before I fell asleep.
