Lincoln was quite happy as he and Luna were being driven by their mum to Luna's friend Mazzy's house to practice. This would be the first time he would be seeing (and listening) to Luna and her band play. Sure he heard her play solo many, many times, but throughout the whole time he had been here he had never heard her play with her band. "this is so rockin' bro! thanks for coming to see our practice!"

"No problem, honestly I should have asked a while ago. If what I've heard from you at home is anything to go by, you are going to sound fantastic" Luna beamed at this and pulled him into a hug, out of all of his sisters, Luna was by far the most passionate and affectionate.

Soon they arrived at a large 2 story house "okay Luna, just give me a call if you want to be picked up" Rita said

"Right mum" Luna then grabbed her guitar and hopped out followed by Lincoln.

Walking up to the door, Luna rang the doorbell and the two waited. They didn't have to wait long however as the door opened to reveal Mazzy, who to Lincoln's surprise, was even bigger than Luna "hey Luna" she said cheerily

"Hey Maze" Luna replied as Mazzy let them enter

"So this is the little brother you go on about. I must say, he's a lot cuter than those pictures you've shown us" a slight tinge of redness appeared on Lincoln's cheeks, causing the young rocker to laugh. Aside from body size the only thing that separated this Mazzy from his old world's Mazzy was that instead of wearing a black & white striped shirt and a light seafoam jacket, she wore a black & white striped long-sleeved shirt, with a blue denim vest over the top that had a large M on the back made of purple rhinestones

"So are Sam and Sully here?" Luna asked

"Yep, we were just waiting for you"

"Oh sorry"

"It's cool" the two followed Mazzy down to the basement, which had been soundproofed.

When they entered they saw Sam and Sully sitting on a couch, Sam was tuning her guitar and Sully was on his phone. Like with most people he'd seen so far, Sam and Sully looked different compared to the ones from his original dimension. The main difference this Sully had was that he was very beefy with a large amount of muscle buried under a layer of fat, other than that his hair and attire was the same. Sam on the other hand was rather slim…well compared to most other girls her age that he had seen, weighing just 250lbs. Other than her weight, her outfit consists of a short, black leather jacket with a white skull that was bleeding from the eye sockets on the back, a plain white T-shirt, teal jeans that were cut at the knees, spiked purple boots, and her hair was now black though she still kept the teal streak. The two got up and greeted the two Lard family members

"So this is Lincoln, pleasure to finally meet ya," Sully said and the two shook hands

"Likewise" Lincoln then turned to Sam "and I take it you're Sam, aka Luna's girlfriend?"

"That's me," Sam said before she scooped the young man up and hugged him tightly

"Don't struggle Linc, it'll only get tighter," Luna said, making her bandmates laugh. "well now that we're all here let's start rocking out!" Luna stated with the rest of her band agreeing.

Lincoln, now wearing earplugs, watched as Luna utterly shreds her ax during practice. He's seen his old Luna shred before, but this...this was next level. This was the level 'above' at the next level. His sister back home had been talented and passionate and worked hard sure, but even her idol had told her that with more time and practice she 'could' be a pro someday.

Luna Lard on the other hand didn't sound like she 'could' be a pro. She sounded like she 'was' a pro. Like she could stand up on stage with her idols and play just as well as they could.

Her fingers danced across the strings with the effortless grace of one who had so thoroughly mastered their craft that they didn't need to concentrate on playing any more than they needed to concentrate to breathe. The guitar was just another part of her and she was the music. Her bandmates were also no slouches when it came to their instruments as well. Sam's fingers glided across the strings of her guitar with the same grace and accuracy as Luna. Mazzy's arms were a blur as she struck the symbols and drums with the perfect amount of force while not missing a single beat. And Sully's arms were moving around his keyboard striking each key perfectly at the right moment. He'd never seen people in a 'high school band' play so professionally. Though what truly impressed him about all this was...

"You're wondering how I can play like when my fingers look like sausages aren't you?" Luna asked while wiggling her digits. She wasn't wrong in her assessment.

"I was just gonna guess you use a pick" Lincoln responded

"Nah. When your my size you can't really put a lot of time into theatrics. Instead of trying to be showy and going stage dives or slides or hopping around like a jackrabbit, I just focused on actually playin'. My rooms soundproofed and since I don't have to share I can pretty much spend all day practicing without bothering the fam"

"It's thanks to Luna that I'm able to play so well with these" Sam said while wiggling her own fingers.

"Well, dude's, does anyone have any new material we can play?" Luna asked

"Sorry Lun's I was too busy to come up with anything," Sam said

Luna then turned to Mazzy and Sully who just shook their heads "dang it" Luna then smiled and turned to Lincoln "hey bro, is there any song you want us to play?"

"Hmm can you play the song 'In the End' by Linkin Park?" all he got was puzzled looks

"Who's Linkin Park?" Mazzy asked, now it was Lincoln's turn to be puzzled. Asking to use Luna's phone he looked up the band name but nothing came up he typed in the names of some of the songs, as well as some of the lyrics but still, nothing came up.

A smile then came to his face "how would you guys like to listen and play songs that don't exist here?"

"What do you mean don't exist?"

"Well, have you seen that movie Yesterday?"

"Hell yeah, I loved that mo...noooo." She cut herself off as it suddenly clicked what he was saying.

Luna's bandmates had been genuinely shocked to find out that Lincoln was actually from another dimension and were even more shocked that they could visit said dimension. Thanks to Leni modifying her portal generator instead of appearing in the Loud residence they appeared around the back of Royal Woods mall. "okay guys when you're ready to come back just find a place where you're out of site and open up another portal" Leni instructed, getting nods from the group before the portal closed up.

Lincoln was now wearing a Disguise Ring that he had suggested that Leni make several months ago. His hair was now dark brown and spiky, his chipped tooth was gone, as were his freckles, his eyes were now green, and his usual orange shirt was now black with a skull on the front. Basically, if he bumped into anyone he knew, they wouldn't recognize him. Lincoln turned to the group "okay guys, you're in my dimension now, a dimension where fat is considered unattractive for the most part, especially your sizes. So try not to be put off by any negative comments or looks" Lincoln said, getting a nod of acknowledgment from the group.

"I plan on going around to see how the people who knew me are doing without me"

"Why?" Luna asked

"Curiosity. I want to see if peoples lives are better or worse without me"

"Okay then bro, we'll give you a call when we're ready to leave" Lincoln nodded before he walked off with Luna and her band heading into the mall.

Lincoln was casually walking through Royal Woods while keeping an eye out for anyone he knew. As he turned a corner he almost bumped someone "oh sorry" he said before realizing that the person he had almost bumped into was Stella, who was surprising with Jordan, Emma, and Chloe. The girls almost immediately began blushing as they saw the stranger.

"Oh no no no it was entirely my fault," Stella said

"Haven't seen you around before," Emma said

"You new around here?" Chloe asked

"No, I even go to your school" Lincoln replied, the girls now looked surprised by that

"I haven't seen you before" Stella stated

"Yeah, I tend to keep to myself and not draw much attention…don't you normally hang out with a group of guys?"

She winced "I used to, but after my friend Lincoln went missing, the group just fell apart"

"How's that?"

"Well, you remember Clyde?"

"Yeah"

"Well when he found out that Lincoln went missing and no one knew where he was, he had a complete mental break down and is now in a psychiatric hospital" Lincoln surprised by this information, yet at the same time, he was unsurprised, given how many problems and issues he had.

"What about those other 3 guys?"

"I left them after some bad things happened between us"

"I take it those are things you don't want to talk about?"

"Yeah" Stella replied quietly while Jordan and Chloe rubbed her back in comfort. Lincoln was picturing all of the worst-case scenarios for what they would do, though at the same time he couldn't really picture those dorks doing anything that bad.

"Seems like Lincoln was the glue holding your little group together"

"Yeah, well I have new friends now"

"This girl should have been our friend first, she's great," Jordan said as she wrapped an arm around Stella's shoulders, making the taller girl smile.

"Well I'm glad things have worked out for you, see you at school," Lincoln said and he walked off before they could even ask what his name was, though they figured that they would just see him at school.

Lincoln was unsure on how to process this new information his old best friend was now in a psychiatric hospital, and the rest of his old friends had broken up due to Rusty, Zach, and Liam doing something to Stella. Well on the bright side, Stella now had a new set of girlfriends now so good for her. As he kept walking around, he spotted someone who he secretly hoped he would never see again. Unfortunately said person spotted him and made their way over to him. "Hey there stud, haven't seen you around before," Lynn said

"Hi, Lynn" Lynn's eyes widened in surprise

"Wait how do you know my name"

"I've been to a few sports games around here to know who you are"

"Well I haven't been able to play sports for several months now"

"Why's that?"

Lynn gave sad sigh "my sisters and I did something really stupid and our parents have severely grounded us, heck they've only just allowed us to go for walks. I haven't played sports or done any exercise of any kind in months" she said, and it showed, while it wasn't much she did look a bit softer

"Has the punishment matched the crime?"

She rubbed her arms and looked away "Yeah"

"Good, maybe you girls will learn something from this"

"Given our track record, we'll probably slip back into our old ways," she said glumly while looking at her feet.

"Well then, I guess you should fix yourselves before you fix your mistake" and with that Lincoln walked off "oh, and keep a close eye on that genius sister of yours," he said before bolting off. By the time what he said registered in Lynn's head, he was gone

"What the hell did he mean by that?" She questioned before she continued on her walk.

Earlier

As the group of morbidly obese inter-dimensional teenagers walked through the mall, trying to find a music store, they couldn't help but be in awe as they saw thin people everywhere. "Holy diver, so many thin people," Sam said quietly with her friends silently agreeing. They also saw people whispering and pointing at them, this made them all feel really uncomfortable.

"Dudes, if this is how fat people are treated then I'm glad I don't live here" Luna whispered, getting nods from her bandmates. When they finally found the music store, they quickly headed inside. When they did, the band almost instantly felt at home as they looked around. Luna chose to stick to the mission and headed over to the CD rack. Luna was now absolutely gobsmacked at how many bands and songs there were that didn't exist in her dimension, though in saying that there were also heaps of popular bands and songs that were absent in this rack. After skimming through the CD's, Luna found the CD that Lincoln had talked about. "Okay got the CD, but I am seriously getting more than this," she said before she started grabbing various CD's

"can I help you with anything?" Luna turned and saw a girl who looked like a thin, more punkish version of herself, who had a name tag that said 'Luna' on it

'This must be Lincoln's version of me' she thought "Uh yeah actually, I'm unfamiliar with a lot of these bands, what would you recommend?" Luna watched as her thinner self got a massive smile on her face

"oh dude where do I even start…" and she started describing the different songs and artists.

Luna was surprised at how enthusiastic this version of her was about music, she was probably on par with herself. "Hey Luna" both Luna's turned and saw Luna Lard's Sam holding up a large T-shirt "does this shirt look good on me?" she asked

"babe, you look good in anything" Sam smiled and thanked her Luna before walking off. Luna Lard turned to look at her counterpart only to see that she was looking at her with a shocked look 'Uh oh'

"You're from the same dimension that that fat version of Leni is from aren't you?!" Luna Loud exclaimed

"*sigh* yes I am"

Luna Loud gave her counterpart a good look up and down "nice choice in fashion bruh" that surprised Luna, she had expected this thin version of herself to start attacking her and demanding her for her brother back, not compliment her on her fashion choice

"Uh thank you"

Luna Loud then surprised her counterpart by getting on her knees in front of her "please, please give us our brother back, we promise to be the best sisters possible to him from now on"

"Look, me, this may be hard for you to hear, but he's decided to stay with us"

"What? Why?"

"He feels safer with us" hearing that felt like a knife through Luna Loud's heart, to find out that her brother actually felt unsafe around them hurt more than any wound. "However, you're the only sister who he's hardly ever said one bad thing about" that raised Luna Loud's spirits

"Well if I'm ever given the chance to see him again, I won't force him to come back, though could you do me a favor?"

"What is it?"

"Can you tell him I'm sorry that I failed him as a big sister"

Luna Lard smiled at that "yes, I definitely will tell him that"

"Thank you...why are you in our dimension anyway?"

"Apparently there are songs and artists here that don't exist in my dimension, such as this 'Linkin Park' that Lincoln told me about, heck most of these bands here don't exist in my dimension"

"Really?!"

"Yeah, does the band 'tums o' fun' exist?"

"No, they don't"

"They are the second greatest band in existence, first being Smooch"

"Can I hear a song from them?" Luna Lard then pulled out her phone and scrolled through a list of songs on it until she found her favorite song 'Big Girls Rock The World'

"This is my all-time favorite song" and she played it.

Luna Loud was extremely impressed by the song, the melody and the lyrics of it were perfect "that was totally awesome bruh!"

"Thought you'd like it"

"So do you still need help finding songs?"

"Nah I think you've set me on the right track of what I should get, thank you"

"You're welcome, oh and don't do what we did and take Lincoln for granted, he's a great little brother"

"Yeah he really is" and with that Luna Loud walked off knowing that she was still at work.

As Luna Loud walked off she couldn't help but put a hand on her flat stomach "well at least I know I still look good even if I was that fat" she said before she spotted the alternate version of Sam 'even fat, she's still hot' she thought to herself.

Later

The group of interdimensional teenagers left the music store, all of them very happy. Luna was hauling 2 bags full of CD's, Sam had a new sparkly teal electric guitar strapped to her back, Sully had a new electric keyboard tucked under one arm, and Mazzy was carrying a large bag filled with clothing. They were soon met up by Lincoln, who had just arrived back at the mall. "wow, you guys certainly made a haul" Lincoln said

"Aww yeah, that place was awesome" Luna replied

"Well, you guys ready to go?"

*growl*

"Actually bro, I was thinking we could grab a quick bite"

"Sure, but be warned, the portions here are a lot smaller than what they are back home"

"That's fine" and with that, the group headed to the food court. As they walked, Luna remembered what her counterpart had said earlier "hey Linc"

"Yeah, Luna?"

"I saw your version of me earlier"

"Really?"

"Yeah, and she told me to tell you that she's sorry she failed you as a big sister" Lincoln stopped at that, now having a twinge of pain in his chest and a slightly guilty look on his face "…she's at the music shop if you want to see her"

"I'll meet up with you guys again" he then turned around and headed to the music shop. Luna was a bit unsure about letting her little brother go but she assured herself that he would be returning back with them.

Entering the music store, Lincoln spotted his original Luna at the counter taking a deep breath he exhaled and deactivated the ring, revealing his true self. Walking up to the counter, he stopped as he and Luna locked eyes. Luna slowly moved from behind the counter before bolting to Lincoln and embracing him in a tight hug. Luna used all of her willpower not to cry "you're back! you're finally back!"

"To visit"

Luna eased up on the hug and leaned back to look at him "w-what?"

"I'm sorry Luna but I'm not staying, I just came here to see you"

"Look, Lincoln, allowing the girls to do what they did is totally on me. I should have been more responsible and not allowed that to happen"

"Then why did you?"

"I allowed them to get payback on you because I knew that if I didn't let them get their frustration out on you in one go, then they would have been doing stuff to you for weeks" Lincoln was level headed enough to realize that Luna's reasoning behind allowing him to be pranked was understandable.

"I understand where you're coming from, your sisters are the kind of wild and reckless people who would do that, but even so, as I previously stated, I'm not staying"

"…that other Luna told me that you felt safer with them. Are you scared that we'll do the same thing again the next time you make all of us angry?"

"Pfft no…well not you specifically, its Lisa that I'm scared of crossing. When that little mad scientist gets angry at someone, morals and ethics be damned"

"Bro, what did she do to you?"

"Ask her about my spring break last year," he said coldly

"Okay, I will…holy crap you're ripped"

"Glad you noticed"

"Have you been working out nonstop since you left?"

"Nah, Leni just gave me a drug that increases my muscles and strength through minimal exercise"

"That's cool bro, I bet girls are basically throwing themselves at you"

"Kinda"

"So are they treating you well there?"

"Yeah they are, I love my new family" Luna felt a pain in her chest when she heard that

"Lincoln, are you angry at me?"

"I was, but I've moved past that now"

"I'm sorry that I failed you as a big sister"

"I wouldn't say failed, but you could have been more responsible in that type of situation"

"Yeah, I should have"

"Well I need to head back to my sister and her friends"

"Oh, yeah well I need to get back to work…I love you Lincoln…you know that right?"

"Yeah, I know, maybe I'll see you again someday"

"I'd like that" Lincoln then turned around and left the store while Luna got back to work.

When Lincoln arrived back at the food court, he found Luna and her band waiting "dude, let's go, the food here is absolutely terrible" Luna said

"And the portions here are so small" Mazzy added, Lincoln couldn't help but laugh at this

"Okay, lets go" he said and they followed him out to the back of the mall.

When they got back to their home dimension, they headed straight to Luna's bedroom and began their mini concert. Luna and her band were absolutely mesmerised as they listened to song after song that they had never heard before, Lincoln couldn't help but sing along to some of the songs that played. Hours passed in the blink of an eye for the group, heck they only snapped out of their amazed trance when Lynn Sr. came in and told the group that Sully's parents called to find out why he wasn't responding to their calls. Sully as well as Mazzy and Sam checked their phones and saw that they had missed a lot of calls and messages. They quickly phoned their parents and informed them that they were alright. Unfortunately though they were told to come home, so Mazzy (who had driven everyone over to Luna's in the first place) took her friends back to their homes.

After Luna's band mates had left, Luna turned to Lincoln "you should have told me that such awesome music existed bro"

"Well I didn't know that some bands and songs didn't exist in this dimension, and like I said earlier, you can use those songs seeing as how they don't exist here"

"True, Chunk is going to be over the moon with this"

"Chunk? You mean your roadie?"

"Roadie? No Chunk's our manager"

"Manager?!"

"Yeah, when he saw how good we were when we performed the first time, he offered to be our manager. At first we were a bit iffy seeing as how some managers take their bands for a ride, but he's proved to us that he's a damn good manager he was the one who got our two records made" unlike his old Luna, this Luna was more successful with her and her band having 2 records under their belt as had several live stage performances. Though even with all of that they still were a somewhat unknown band. However that was about to change.

It had taken 2 weeks for Luna and her band to get through all of the CD's Luna had bought from Lincoln's original dimension with some of the songs giving them inspiration to write another few songs. Luna sat on the monster of a beanbag chair in the corner of her room. Tuning up her baby as she listened to the CD Lincoln had been the most interested in. Luna felt content and relaxed as she listened to music from another world, the sweet vibrations making her feel like she was drifting off to that other world. Some of the songs she had listened to over the past two weeks came with familiar voices. There were songs by bands she knew and loved that they'd never sung in this dimension. Songs she'd heard but by an artist she'd never heard of. Though it was the songs she never heard by artists that had never existed that caught her flat footed. Lincoln might think this universe was paradise to him, but to know there's music like this a world away that she might never hear? That was hell.

If she covered these songs...if she covered this music, her band would ascend like a...a...

'Rocketmaaaann...'

"Yeah Elton. Like a freaking rocketman."

Luna had thought about what Lincoln had said about using the songs seeing as how they didn't exist in this dimension. She was a bit on the edge about what she should do with this sweet unheard of music. If she covered this. Put her own touches on it. Her band would be sitting on the top of the charts like like it's name was chisled there...and only she, her band, and Lincoln would have to know she stole it, but was it really stealing if you just wanted to share it with a world that otherwise would never hear it? A determined look came onto her face as she came to a decision "we are going to cover this music" she said just as determined as she looked. Luna spent the rest of the night listening and writing down the names and lyrics of some of the songs. There was one song she and her band had heard that she knew would be an instant hit, and would most likely stay at the top of every chart for a very long time. It was the song 'Fat' by an artist named 'Weird Al'. she guessed that it was a parody song due to it sounding quite a bit like Michael Jackson's song 'Bad'.

For the next week, everyday after school, Luna and her band (sometimes accompanied by Lincoln) would gather at Mazzy's house and both rehearse and record the songs that Luna had chosen. After a week of hard work, and aching limbs and digits, the demo disk was completed ready to be given to Chunk to listen "well done guys, were gonna go platinum with this disk"

"I'll hand it into Chunk once I've dropped you all off tonight" Mazzy said, due to essentially being their driver.

After having driven everyone home Mazzy drove over to Chunks house to drop off their demo disc. Pulling into the driveway of a modest 2 story house, she walked up to the door and knocked. After waiting a few seconds the door opened revealing their manager. He looked fairly much the same as the version of him in Lincoln's original dimension only he was a few pounds lighter, had a full head of hair, and was missing the nose ring and tattoo. "Mazzy? What are you doing here?" he asked, quite surprised

"I'm here to give you the demo disk to our latest songs"

"Wow, that was a lot quicker than I expected"

"We were struck by wave after wave of inspiration"

"I'll listen to it tomorrow and let you know what I think"

"Awesome, thanks Chunk"

"Any time, you drive safe now"

"Don't worry, I'm not Luna" the two gave a laugh before Mazzy left.

Needless to say, Chunk was absolutely blown away when he heard the songs the next day. Once the disk had finished, he knew right then and there that 'The Lunatics' were going to be considered legends once this album gets released.
