Naruto Of The Uchiha
Round Two
"It's a nice day isn't it?"
"Troublesome...what do you need?"
"Come on, Shikamaru, I can't just be checking on a friend?"
Shikamaru looked away from the clouds and up towards her over to the left while he was still laying down. "Sasuki, we both know this isn't just a social call. What's up?"
"Haha hmm. Well then. I want your help with something."
"What is it?" She closed her and then opened them revealing the Mangekyo Sharingan. It had 5 ovals that overlapped in a star pattern forming a star form the intersecting lines as well with a black circle in the center. Shikamaru just sighed. "Troublesome. Shouldn't you talk to Naruto about this?"
"Well he's kind of in a war...and he doesn't know about me awakening these eyes."
"Fair enough...are you sure he doesn't know? Naruto is a pretty perceptive guy and I'm sure he'd notice."
"He hasn't brought it up."
Shikamaru sighed. "I don't think this is a good idea."
"Come on Shikamaru. Please, I just want to know what I can do. It'll get you away from your mom"
"Where we headed." Shikamaru said jumping up faster than she ever saw before making her laugh.
Hokage Office
"Do you think it's a wise idea to have Naruto begin the campaign next week?" Hiruzen said
"Hmm. It could work. If it does, we may be able to gain more ground and gain momentum in this thing. It's going to be troublesome but it could work." said Shikaku with his hand to his chin as he tried thinking of possible ways to support Naruto's campaign.
Realistically, the best strategy would be to set him loose and let him do what he does. Sending others would only force him to hold back. He was a force to be unleashed alone and then once he's crippled an enemy, then you send a support force to finish off the task.
Still, this is a strategy that would be looked down upon and he didn't want to have Naruto be alone. There just really wasn't much Shinobi that wouldn't get in his way. Who could fight and be in unison with him? Maybe members of his squad? Kakashi potentially since he trained him...Sasuki?
"Hokage-sama, have you considered sending Sasuki Uchiha to the battlefield. Her and Naruto may be able to fight in sync without getting in his way."
"I'm not sure If that's wise, Shikaku."
"Why not? She is a Sharingan user and her skill is second to none of her class...well...aside from Naruto. Surely she could do well. Also Gai's squad is pretty skilled. Maybe we should allow some of the Genin into this."
"I agree about Gai's team. But I'm not sure if sending Sasuki will be good...Naruto may become angered."
"Is there something I don't know about, Hokage-sama?"
Hiruzen took a long puff of his pipe and leaned back in his seat. "Let's just say that I wouldn't want to anger Naruto."
"Hokage-sama, this is war. He knows this. I'm sure that should any harm come to her, he'd only he angered if it was on our watch. Atleast this way, he has more control over her safety."
"Hmm. Perhaps. I agree though, we will need to build him a team that he can fight alongside. Commander Wolf has already expressed that he will join Naruto in the next week. I think his squadmate Hawk will also be a good fit since the two fight together a lot."
Shikaku nodded in agreement. "Maybe Kakashi can remain as a part. He's got the strength and trained Naruto personally."
"Yes. Now we come to a problem, there is no one else that would be a good fit. His former squad is not strong enough, and the others in his squad aren't either. The other people that would be strong enough to not be a burden, never fought with him before. They have no chemistry."
"Yeah...well we've atleast built a good support cast for him. Then once those 5 weaken the enemy, the rest of 2nd Company goes in. It can work...but you need to be real with me, are there any factors that we need to be worried about?"
Hiruzen closed his eyes and smoked once more. "Nope. Everything should be good."
"Very well. I believe that is all, Hokage-sama."
"Alright. Thank you for coming by."
Shikaku bowed slightly before walking out of the office. Hiruzen just sat there contemplating about the next coming events. Should he have told the lead strategist of Naruto's condition? Then again, Naruto being a sage made him stronger than he was before the illness so perhaps it didn't matter.
2nd Company
"It's time for the Fox to go to sleep." Yugito whispered and proceeded to stab.
Naruto just sat there watching as she had gone to stab him. His eyes spun and took form of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. This brought fear to Yugito but at the same time, she was about to kill him anyways. It didn't matter...
A black aura came and a clang was heard. She noticed that she hit some sort of rib made of chakra. "WHAT THE!"
Naruto stood up, flexed his arms and cracked his neck in order to feel himself out for a second. That was a nasty beating he took and without Kurama's chakra to help too. "You two are really getting on my nerves."
A skeletal arm swatted Yugito away from him. She ended up flipping in mid air, landing on all fours next to Han. "She is pretty cat-like." The skeletal Susanoo breathed out red flames to them and burnt down 50 feet of woods before finally calming. Yugito used her own blue fire to cancel it out protecting the two of them.
When the fire cleared, Yugito and Han noticed the Susanoo changed. It no longer was a skeleton. It was fully armored and had a sword. Naruto slowly began walking to them and the Susanoo as well since it surrounded him. Yugito tried to send an attack but it did nothing to the etherial warrior.
"Han...the hell are we supposed to do to that!"
"You're asking me? I'm not sure how it works but obviously it makes him untouchable...There's something we can do."
"That is?"
"He's walking right...we go at the ground, he isn't protected from underneath. Buy me time, I have an idea."
Yugito growled at the fact she had to fight this while he did whatever. She had to dodge the sword as it came down on her and she began running along the arm to get to him but all he did was make it disappear making her fall. The other arm punched her and slammed her to the ground. Then hammer fisted her once more making her cough up blood.
Naruto looked around and noticed that Han was nowhere to be seen. He noticed something odd with the ground so he looked down and a vapor started coming from beneath him and was burning. Before it could go any further Naruto shunshined away while deactivating the Susanoo. Turned out to be a good idea since the ground blew up and out was a steam that was hot as hell. If he'd stayed, he would be in some serious trouble.
"That was a close one. What is that?" said Naruto
"Boil Release, granted to me by my tailed beast. There's other things it can do...but I won't say that." Han said as he came out of the ground.
"Guess it's now or never to figure out if it works."
Naruto thought as he made a plus with his fingers and 10 clones came to life. Immediately they all left in a flash, leaving him by himself...sort of.
"Huh, make clones and send them away? What you can't take us?"
"Han, first of all, you two came at me together...obviously you can't take me alone. Second, you really think I haven't left markers throughout this battle? This entire place is my domain."
In the blink of an eye, Naruto flicked a kunai that appeared on the left side of Han's head. His eyes widened and he immediately jumped to the right with as much strength to make it. He was completely surprised when he was kicked in the chest as he landed and collided against two trees. With a Shunshin, Naruto picked him up and choke slammed him to the ground.
Naruto tilted his head back and dodged Yugito's attempt to stab him with her nails that grew to claws. She flew past him and turned on a dime and pounced once more forcing him to release Han from his grip and started stumbling backwards as he dodged. She really became more agile, the more she channeled her Bijuu's power.
Han got up and noticed Naruto struggling to repeatedly dodge. Groaning as he got up, he began charging up his chakra. Just as Naruto landed, he charged as fast as possible and tackled Naruto and went to pummel him to oblivion.
Naruto dodged all be it barely, each strike while on the ground and expelled lightning chakra from his body getting Han off of him only for Yugito to tackle him as he was getting up. Naruto sent a knee to her butt and she flipped over him and he got up.
"You guys, are really starting to get on my nerves." Sweat was dripping down Naruto's face and blood dripped down his lips as well as at the edge of his right eyebrow.
A good thing was that enough time has passed by now and the first clone dispelled. Naruto's eyes changed as an orange tint surrounded his eyes and the black circle in the Sharingan became a horizontal bar. Immediately he felt better and stronger. He made a fist and smirked.
"Now, let's get started..." said Naruto and the other two began to feel his power rising, surpassing their own, even when they start to use their lower stages of the Bijuu chakra.
Naruto began running towards them and jumped while twirling and as he came back around, lightning left his foot as he kicked and that struck both Han and Yugito, stunning them enough to get close to them. Quickly realizing his attention to either mark them or seal their chakra, they entered the version one Bijuu cloak. The bubbling chakra allowed them a small level.pf protection from his attempt of placing a seal.
Naruto actually stopped to laugh for a second. "You really think that will stop Fuinjutsu? Where do you get this information? Like I'm serious, I want to know."
"You...you mean this doesn't work?" Yugito said as she stood straight up.
"Hell no! There isn't really a way to stop Fuinjutsu. If I'm sealing your chakra, how does making your chakra visible do anything to stop it from being sealed?"
"You know? He's got a point." Yugito said looking at Han.
"We shouldn't have listened to Tsuchikage-sama..." Han said
"Well. Back to it." Naruto said and they all took their stance once more.
Han came first to be met with the most powerful punch he ever felt. Losing all the air in his body, he coughed up blood and hunched over Naruto's arm. Naruto spun around and planted a heel kick to the back of Han's head sending him to the ground knocked out from the power behind his kick. Yugito winced slightly at watching Han be defeated in two hits.
"You weren't supposed to be this strong..."
"You should never have come." Naruto said in a cold even tone. Not of arrogance but complete total calm. His Sharingan's glow intensified it seemed and he placed his hand on the tanto's handle.
She entered the version 2 cloak and her skin changed to red and black chakra. She charged ahead to attack but confused Naruto when she completely missed her strike. He turned and noticed she grabbed Han.
"We'll be back..." Yugito said holding onto Han's collar.
"You'll regret it." Said Naruto as he watched her disappear via a Shunshin with Han with her.
The Sage Mode was released once he no longer sensed their presence. Once it was released, the full brunt of his illness came full force and he clenched his chest in pain while coughing up some blood. Taking heavy, labored breaths, he looked to where he left 2nd Company and didn't notice signs of battle.
"Captain. How did it go?"
"Well, it was rough Hawk...they sent two Jinchurikis. Kumo is now a part of the war."
"We know, we faced some of their forces amongst Iwa's and Kiri's. Who did they send?"
"Han of the 5 Tails, and Yugito of the 2 Tails. They're abilities from their Bijuu complimented one another and they kept me from entering Sage Mode for the most part. Once I entered it though, I handled Han and Yugito immediately fled with his unconscious body. Send word to Hokage-sama."
"We already have. Captain, go take a rest. Facing two Jinchuriki isn't easy." Kakashi said as he walked into the fray.
"Yeah, me and The other Lieutenants will handle things for now." Zabuza said from Kakashi's right.
"Thank you." Naruto began coughing and was going to collapse when Kakashi caught him.
"Let's get you to your quarters." Naruto nodded and the two left as everyone else went back to work and dealing with the wounded.
Hokage's Office
"Kumo what?" Hiruzen said sitting straight in his chair.
"They've just entered the war. They sent their Nibi Jinchuriki with the Gobi Jinchuriki, as well as some of their forces." Shikaku said
"Damnit! Ok, send word to Suna. We need their help."
"Hokage-sama...maybe we have the Ichibi Jinchuriki join Naruto. The two together could cause damage. He may be a little risky but he has the focus to target an enemy, I'm sure that if he set him against the mass numbers as we expect, it could keep him from endangering allies...besides, Naruto might be able to deal with him should he be a problem."
Hiruzen gave a nod and relaxed once more. "Have them detach whoever else they wish to join the campaign with them. It's time to deploy Commander Wolf, and Sasuki Uchiha for Naruto's team. As well as team Gai to join 2nd Company."
"Will Gai be relocating to 2nd Company as well?
"Yes. Those Genin will need the familiar face to help them for the challenges ahead."
"Any other Genin joining a position?"
"No. I don't think there is anyone else capable of joining. I believe that is all Shikaku. Thank you."
With a bow, Shikaku left the room and began to write the message to Sunagakure. That and he had some Genin to get to.
In one week, Konoha's 2nd Company under Naruto Uchiha would begin the first campaign into Earth Country. This would hopefully shift the tide of the war and lead to their victory.
So...I was going to have this up sooner...kinda messed up. Forgot to hit save when I closed and had to restart...got angered so I walked away and just went with my friends as I had planned for today. Came back and wrote this then yeah...my bad...I tried to make a little humor, hopefully it was sort of funny or at least an entertaining exchange about if the chakra cloak would actually stop Fuinjutsu...would it? I'm not sure...I doubt it. Regardless if it does or not, I'ma just say it don't. Not a long chapter i know, but it was to just finish off last Chapter. Next one will be the start of Naruto's attacks and Gaara comes in.
Huh...you know Zab, I'm embarrassed to say but...I never thought of that...I'll keep that in mind for future projects. Can't believe that...How the hell did i not think of that crap! Man! Now you're gonna drive me insane.
Yo Ben, won't confirm nor deny? I mean...I don't know...well I do but like...anyways I've had him say that his reason for peace isn't quite noble. Its solely for Sasuki. I've fiddled with the idea of something else...we'll see. I've laid the pieces for it to turn either way, at this point, I kinda just gotta choose a route. I've had both Kakashi and Hinto describe how Naruto is and what makes him tick. So take with that what you will.
