One by one, parties started to orb back into the manor. Bianca and Paige had been there for a few minutes when Phoebe and Patricia orbed back. Cooper and Bianca ran to hug Phoebe, while Patricia went to hug her mother.

"You OK?" Paige asked her daughter. She nodded feeling safe in her mother's arms. Phoebe and Paige smiled, glad to see each other safe and sound.

After a few more minutes, Piper and Penelope orbed back. Paige opened her arms and Penelope ran to hug her and her sister. Piper took a deep breath, worried none of her sons were back yet.

"They'll be here soon" said Phoebe reading her like a book. Paige nodded encouragingly.

Future Wyatt, Paddy and Praline took about ten more minutes to arrive. Phoebe ran to her daughters almost knocking them down as she hugged them. "You alright?" they nodded in tears, happy to see their mother also safe.

"Are you alright?" asked Piper to her Future son.

"I'm fine, mom. Where I come from, this is the reality every single day" he said sadly, thinking of all the innocents they had lost just this day alone.

"Not what I asked" she smiled giving him a hug.

"I'm OK, mom" he told Piper feeling her warmth both pleasant and painful. He couldn't remember the last time she hugged him like this, making him feel safe, like a little kid in his mother's embrace. A moment later, Wyatt and Henry Jr. arrived last. Piper cried and went over to hug him too, while Henry went to her mother and sisters.

They all looked around at each other, thanking God they had all come back in one piece, so grateful their family had successfully lived to fight another day, hoping they never had to fear for each other like this day ever again and understanding they undoubtedly would. There was this horrible chaos coming their way and they couldn't bear to think just how much it would cost them to stop it.

Then, to everyone's surprise Sam and Chris appeared bathed in bright blue lights. Wyatt immediately ran to his wife and kissed her, feeling like he could really breathe again now her and Chris were back. Piper ran to hold Chris.

"Glad you're OK, little bro" smiled Wyatt.

"How did you two…?" asked Future Wyatt.

"I didn't. They did" Sam said staring at the Charmed ones.

"We did?" asked Phoebe smiling, still holding on to her daughters.

"What about you, kiddo?" asked Paige smiling to Chris.

"It was… complicated" he smiled back with Piper still tightly holding on to him.

"We'll talk about it later" said Piper wiping tears off her face. "Let's settle down first and take care of whoever needs to be taken care of."

Bianca had already been healed by Paige went they got back to the manor. Future Wyatt and Paige, however, were healing everybody from superficial cuts and bruises.

Wyatt was still firmly holding on to Sam with no intentions of letting her go ever again. Chris couldn't help but stare at them and smiled bitterly. His heart was breaking even now. He wanted to scream the pain growing inside his chest. He wanted to blow things up and just stop feeling anything at all. He gulped painfully and kept smiling. Piper held on to him again without saying a word.

After healing everyone, nobody felt like talking and most of them were utterly exhausted to talk anyway, so they decided to call it a day and share today's events on another moment. Even Future Wyatt thought they deserved the day. After all, even if war was still coming he could remember his mother's words: Find joy in the smallest blessings.

Once Leo brought back the little ones. It was turn for Wyatt and Sam to go home too.

"Are you sure you don't wanna stay the night?" said Piper hugging Sam.

"Don't worry, mom. We'll be back tomorrow" said Wyatt going to hug Chris. "Don't go anywhere else till then, you hear?" he shuffled his hair playfully. Wyatt sighed and put a hand on Chris' shoulder. "I'm glad you're OK" he said once again. They left soon after that.

Chris decided to take a long shower to try and ease his mind, but it was no use, so he decided to go to bed and turned on the TV, not really watching anything. Piper knocked on the door after a while. She could barely stand but she couldn't stay away from her son at the moment. Not after having lost him only a few hours before.

"Can I get you something to eat, honey?" Piper asked him. He wanted to say no and generally to be left alone, but he could only imagine how his mother had felt with him in the 1700s.

"That'd be great, mom" he humored her. Piper sat down on his bed.

"You know…you can talk to us about anything. You know that, right?" she said clearing a few stray hairs off his face. "No pressure, just… l'm saying you can."

"I know, mom" he smiled at her. "I'm OK. Promise" Piper sighed. She knew her son was hiding something from them. Something was definitely wrong. She left the room, hoping he'll talk to them when he felt ready. Maybe giving him some space would do him good. She went to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which were one of Chris' favorites to try and make him feel better from whatever seemed to be bothering him.

Chris, on the other hand, kept thinking of Ama. He should have felt glad of being back, but he felt as it something had been ripped off. He felt something had stayed behind and now he had this huge empty space inside him. He had waited so long to finally fall in love for real and… this was it? It couldn't be. There had to be something he could do to feel alright again. He had to find a way to at least tell Ama how he felt about her, even if there was no way they could ever be together. And then, it was that very thought that haunted him.

Sam absentmindedly played with the bubbling spots in her bath. She hoped some relaxing bath salts would help her with the burden in her mind, but her gaze still got lost into infinity at moments. She could feel herself breathing, but other than that she had no idea what else to allow herself to feel, afraid any kind of emotion would be too overwhelming. Through her life, she had developed this nasty habit of expecting the worst, and thinking this whole mix-up with Future Wyatt could cost her a second away from her soulmate was just too hard to even think about.

She gulped, feeling her eyes burn. Surely tears had ran down her cheek, but she soaked her face over and over again, trying to wash them away, to ignore them along with her pain.

There was a knock on the bathroom door. She wiped her face yet again before saying "Come in" the words aching at the back of her throat.

"Hey, you alright?" said her Wyatt. Sam nodded as he knelt down to reach for her. "Mind if I join you?" he said somewhat gloomy himself. She caressed his face and nodded once more. Wyatt took off his clothes and got into the tub behind her. She laid her head on his chest as he held her to him, kissing the top of her head. She kissed his arm, his hands, and then placed her head on them tenderly, letting some of her tears free, hoping they would be masked by the water around them.

"This was a tough day" said Wyatt. Sam held on to his arms tighter around her, still caressing them with her cheek. "I don't even know how to start talking about it" he said truthfully. Sam wasn't sure what had happened exactly when her and Chris had disappeared, but his voice told her it had been bad to say the least.

"Then don't" Sam said, looking upwards to steal a kiss. She, herself, couldn't take in any more at the moment. Wyatt, however, couldn't drop it. He needed to get stuff out of his own mind and heart, to try and start making his peace with it.

"We lost so many today…"

"I'm sorry I wasn't by your side"

"I know" Wyatt smiled. "I think it was better that you weren't… spare you of…" she reached for his face.

"We fight together, remember? No matter what?" Wyatt held her tighter, caressing her cheek as she looked up at him.

"I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't come back at all" he kept spilling his heart out. He was feeling so very much it was hard to even try to keep it in.

"I don't know what I would have done if I had come back to find something happened to you" she gulped. "I wouldn't bear to see you get hurt…" her voice quivered. She knew she had to hurt him herself by telling him the truth. Even if she would have decided not to tell him about Future Wyatt and herself, the baby wouldn't let it be kept as a secret for long; not that it was an option for her. He was everything to her. She wouldn't lie or hide anything as important as this from him.
