A/N: Welcome to the next chapter. Couple of things before we get into the chapter.

This chapter isn't that big of an event due to my original plans getting changed where the last part was going to go as I was going to put next chapter in this one but it's going to take a while longer to write and I wanted to go ahead and get this chapter out sooner than later.

I don't own High School DxD or its characters. Any OC characters, equipment, etc… is created by me for my stories unless stated in an A/N.

With that, let's get to the chapter.

As Issei and Valerie teleported into Azazel's office, Valerie looked around in interest as she had no idea where they might have gone to though she did notice there was someone else in the room that had noticed their teleportation and was sitting back in his chair letting them reorient themselves after the teleportation.

Figuring that if Issei was going to kill her he would have done it before teleporting them to this room, she turned towards him first before turning to the new person in the room. "Thank you for saving me and dealing with the hunters." She said getting an uncomfortable laugh from him as he rubbed the back of his head as she turned to Azazel. "How do you do. I'm sorry to intrude like this but I was given an offer I couldn't refuse. My name is Valerie Tepes."

Azazel could only laugh lightly at her words, both thankful and a little concerned on how this might affect the future timeline in ways they couldn't comprehend but it could also help them stop the Beast from being unsealed. "You're in no way intruding as we had known there was a possibility of someone coming back with Issei and it's no concern. I'm Azazel, and yes that Azazel, the one that runs Grigori." He commented, letting out a laugh as the name registered in her head and she gawked at the news as Issei helped her sit down in one of the chairs.

"Don't worry, if you haven't already figured it out we're not going to hurt you, even if you are only a half-vampire. You'll come to learn that's not something we care about here."

Valerie couldn't help but find some truth in those words as if nothing else, there wouldn't have been any reason for Issei to save her if that had been there goal, though she couldn't help but wince once more when she shifted her weight unconsciously on her sprained ankle in the seat. "It's nice to meet someone famous like you and thank you for the hospitality, but now what's to happen to me since I'm not welcome in my own country anymore."

Before Azazel could comment on that or her wince, Issei stepped in having noticed that Azazel saw the wince and was curious so decided to answer for him on it and then get onto her question. "First, let's get that ankle checked out from your fall then we can talk about that." He commented getting an understanding look and nod from Azazel as he called Penemue to get a first aid kit into his office and a nod from Valerie at that.

Once they got her ankle wrapped up and on ice for now, they got back to Valerie's previous question though with Vali having joined them as she came in while they were bandaging Valerie's ankle. Valerie was once more stunned once she heard who had joined them as she knew about the rivalry between the two Heavenly Dragons and which bled down to their hosts, but from what she had seen so far, they were acting friendly and even ribbing each other some and the two dragons didn't seem to be at odds either and since she couldn't figure it out for now, she left it alone and went back to her original question. "So, now what. Back to my original question of what's to happen to me now. I understand that you are offering me a safe place to live and such but I feel like that is only benefiting me and not you."

Azazel couldn't help but understand where she was coming from, but in most cases that wasn't an issue for Grigori as he tried to help people where he could but even then, it wasn't always possible to. "That's up to you. If you have somewhere that you believe will take you, then we can help you get there and we'll go our separate ways. Or you could stick around here, train as much or as little as you want to become stronger and learn new magic, it doesn't matter."

Valerie had indeed heard about how Grigori was open to taking refugees and couldn't find any fault in what he had to say. "While I am thankful for what you are offering me, if nobody minds, I'd like to at least take the rest of the day and night to make a decision but whatever I choose to do, I'm happy for this chance."

Nobody could dispute that request as they understood where she was coming from and Azazel nodded his head, having already thought ahead and gotten a room ready for her on the off chance that she would be brought back with Issei and if she might stay with Grigori, though he couldn't exactly say that out loud. "We can work with that. I'll get a room set up for you for at least the night and we'll go from there." He said, getting nods as he sent a message to Penemue confirming the need for the room already set aside before the group got to more mundane stuff.

As Issei got ready for bed, he couldn't help but feel glad that he was able to save Valerie instead of leaving her to deal with her half-brother in the future and him causing issues with her Sacred Gear in the future, but just as he was about to get in bed, he received a call from the intercom in the room from Valerie asking if she could speak to him for a bit. Having nothing else going on and having a guess as to what one of the reasons was, he contacted Vali to see if she'd like to join them only to learn that she had gotten the request too.

Once he reached her door, he knocked and as she said to come in, held the door for Vali who had also just walked up before going and sitting at the desk chair and pulling it near the bed while Vali leaned against the wall nearby. He also couldn't help but put out a small chuckle since this reminded him in a small way of when Vali came to see him in his room the day her memories came back. "What's up. I hope your ankles still doing ok." He said, getting a nod from her as she looked over at him.

Valerie wasn't too sure where to start. Once she'd had some time to think more on what had happened today, some things had sprung to the top of her mind that she wanted to see if she could get more answers to. "I hope you don't mind but I had a few questions before I went to bed I wanted to see about and wasn't able to get them out of my mind." She started with, but before she could continue, Vali spoke up with a snort, having a guess as to what she wanted to ask.

"Let me guess, you're wondering how the two of us can handle each other without our Dragon's eternal fight getting in the way." She said, getting an embarrassed nod from Valerie and a laugh from Issei as he knew that question would be one that a lot of people would have. "We ran into each other around eight months ago when he first came to Grigori asking to help train. While I did want to continue our rivalry at the time, we've whittled it down to occasional fights between us to keep us on our toes and as it turns out, our dragons don't even remember what the reason for the fight was and it wasn't hard to talk them down." She said, getting an interested look from Valerie as Issei said his piece.

"That plus I had known about Ddraig for a little bit before I came to Grigori and we had talked about his rivalry and his wanting to try and end it so it wasn't too hard on my end to do it though it did take some time for us to get where we are now." He said laughing as he thought back to what all had happened to them in the previous timeline but he had a thought cross his mind and he decided to go with it. "Though there is more to it than that, if Vali doesn't mind." He said getting a confused look from both girls until Vali realized what he meant and she shrugged, not really caring if they dove into the future. "But first, I have a guess as to what your next question is but I'll let you ask it in case I'm wrong."

Valerie wasn't sure what to expect with that point from Issei but she decided to go with the flow and ask the other big question she'd had from when he had saved her where he had said he was sure that she would see Gasper again. "You said that I would be able to see Gasper again soon so I'm honestly curious how you could know that at the time."

Issei had realized that after the fact that she might catch onto his wording but it was too late so decided to roll with it and give some of the truth for now and more as time went by. "That is both easy to answer and not depending on how you take it but I knew about you and Gasper thanks to the fact that I was able to time travel back to the past from a desolate future." He said, a pained expression coming to his face as he noticed the surprised shock from Valerie. "I can't tell you how I traveled for now but I was sent back in time to prepare myself to stop the terrible event. I won't go into it too much for now but yeah." He said before stopping himself as Valerie looked at him stunned before turning towards Vali since he had asked her before bringing it up and only getting a nod.

"I know about it since there's a unique situation that can happen to those that Issei runs into," Vali said, stepping in since she knew that this was still a touchy subject for him, and going into it some for Valerie from what she knew, including the memories. "That's how we knew what to expect and at least the general area to search for you when he found you."

While Valerie was stunned, she both could see something like that happening and not, since a story like what they had just told would be too elaborate for them to make up easily but she had to check something to be sure. "Ok, I honestly don't know what to think right now other than either it's a true story or a really great elaborate scheme but I'm leaning towards believing you. Do you have any way to prove it to me out of curiosity or if you even met me in the future."

Issei knew of two ways that might could do it but he couldn't remember the name of her half-brother that caused all the issues until Ddraig popped up with the name. '[Her older half-brother's name was Marius and if you ask me this should be interesting how her being with us changes the future.]'

'Thanks, Ddraig, and glad to see you still around,' Issei commented since he hadn't heard from him since they brought back Valerie, and only getting a grunt back. Turning back to Valerie, he commented. "I got two methods off the top of my head. You were the one that was the reason for Gasper cross-dressing, and you have an older half-brother named Marius who will cause issues in the future." He said, chuckling at the reaction he got from her at that. "I know where Gasper will end up and that we'll see him again but we can dive into that at a later date as it won't happen for a few more years."

Valerie couldn't help but be stunned at what he had said and the knowledge he gave her, while small was enough to at least tell her that something big was going on that she not not yet privy to. "Well that was more than I thought I would get but it does at least let me know something big is going on. So what does this mean now that I know and who else is in the know." She asked, not sure what to do now.

"In Grigori, Vali and Azazel are the only ones that have their memory back, while two friends of mine from High school have regained their memories as well as Yasaka and her daughter in Kyoto have their memories back. We also have one more I won't get into right now that helped me by sending me back in time that came back themselves but that's not against you, me not naming them, it's just that we have an agreement to not name them unless its needed." He said getting an understanding nod from her at that as he answered her other question.

"For your other question, it doesn't change anything. It's not like you knowing will stop us from doing what we can to change the future I came from and make this one a better one where I can. Whatever you decide to do with your life will be we will work with and help you where we can."

Valerie could see where they were coming from and was thankful that they would let her in on what was going on. With her questions out of the way and none left, the group broke up not much later after that and went back to their rooms.

A/N: And that's the end of the chapter. Sorry for the long time between chapters, just got caught in some procrastination as well as I originally planned on the next major event in this chapter, but I decided to push it off till next one and that required some small modifications. Couple things.

Next chapter will be the start of the next major event in the story, the Holy Sword Project and how Issei will deal with it. I had wanted to put it in here like I said or the start of it at least at first but plans changed so it'll start next chapter.

Feel free to join my discord if you want: use the code FXGCsxY to get in. It's a small server and not much activity but I hope to add more stuff in the future.

I have set up my own P-atreon for those that want to support me that way. Look up deltanz for my profile and it has the same profile picture as on here.

With those out of the way, until next chapter but I can't promise how long it will take to get it out.
