A/N this is the second and last part of the final battle. Do you think Sora made the right decision to stay at the Avengers Universe? I think he did because without him, the Avengers would be toast without him. Anyway enjoy this chapter.
Back at the Helicarrier. Fury is arguing with the S.H.I.E.L.D. council on videoscreen.
"Director Fury, the Council has made a decision." The councilwoman told him.
"I recognize the Council has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it," Fury told them.
"Director, you're closer than any of our subs." One of the councilman said, "You scramble that jet-"
"That is the island of Manhattan, Councilman." Fury interupted "Until I'm certain my team can't hold it, I will not order a nuclear strike against a civilian population."
"If we don't hold them in the air, we lose everything." Another Councilman ordered.
"I send that bird out, we already have." Fury said before turning off the screen.
Natasha was still driving the chariot with the rider. She was avoiding buildings then she was hit by someone. She turns her head around to see Loki is following her.
"Oh, you..." Natasha groaned. "Hawkeye!" She called.
Clint sees Natasha riding the Chariot. "Nat what are you doing?"
"Uh... a little help?" She asked. Clint pulled outs his bow and aims at Loki.
"I've got him." He fires the arrow at Loki who caught it. He stares at Clint with a smug look until the arrow exploded and blasts Loki off of the chariot. He crashes back at Stark tower. Natasha looks down and jumps off the chariot. Kairi lands over to her.
"Nat, what's up?" she asked.
"I'm gonna close that portal." Natasha told her.
"Let me help you." Kairi offered. Natasha nodded and runs to the portal.
Meanwhile Loki stands back up to see the Hulk crashing towards him. They both crash to a window, landing inside the tower. Hulk was about to attack him but Loki shouted.
"Enough!" This made the Hulk stop. "You are, all of you, beneath me. I am a god you dull creature! And I will not be bul.." But Loki was interrupted by the Hulk grabbing him and slamming him repeatedly then he throws him down and walks away.
"Puny god..." The Hulk muttered. Loki gives out a loud whimpering sound.
In the top of Stark Tower, Natasha and Kairi walks up the CMS machine which was holding the Tesseract.
"The sceptor!" A voice called out to them. They both turn to see Selvig on the ground, called for them.
"Doctor." Natasha said.
"Loki's scepter. The energy. The Tesseract can't fight, but you can't protect against yourself."
"It's not your fault, you didn't know what you were doing." Natasha reassured.
"Yeah, you were controlled by Loki." Kairi said.
"Well, actually I think I did. I built in a safety to cut the power source." He admitted bitterly.
"Loki scepter." Kairi realized. Selvig nodded.
"It may be the only thing to close the portal, and I am looking at it." He said, showing them that the scepter is lying on the balcony.
In Manhattan, Thor who rides on top of chariot, smacks a bunch of Heartless and Leviathan, causing them to crash into buildings. He jumps to where Sora and Cap are, helping them fight their enemies. Tony fired three of palladium lasers at them. He then flies up ahead towards the monster.
"Sir, we will lose power before we penetrate that shell." J.A.R.V.I.S. warned.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., have you ever heard the tale of Jonah?" Asked Tony.
"I wouldn't consider him a role model." Jarvis tells him. Iron Man flies into Leviathan mouth and going further into his insides with his missiles primed making the Chitauri collaspse. Tony rolls down the street. He leaves a overwhelming sigh as more Chitauri and Heartless coming.
In a rooftop building, Clint turns to fire his last arrow. Using his bow as a staff, he knocks some Chitauri Soldiers, before yanking his last arrow off the dead body a Soldiers. Hawkeye nocks his arrow, dives down the building and fires his grappling arrow up into the side of building. Falling down, Hawkeye finds the momentum and swings himself into a building and cannonballs in.
The Hulk in Manhattan slams Heartless Soliders by the face Then more Chitauri comes chipping in. He then witnesses a hundreds of riders headed towards him. Hulk Takes them on like he's running over monster trucks and swatting the Heartless like bugs.
On the deck of the Helicarrier, a pilot is sitting in his jet listening to orders.
"Director Fury is no longer in command. Override order 7-Alpha-1-1." A councilwoman orders the pilot.
"7-Alpha-1-1, confirmed. We're go for takeoff." Pilot said igniting his engine. Agent Hill sees it on onscreen, inside the Helicarrier.
"Sir, we have a bird in motion! Anyone on the deck, we have a rogue bird! We need to shut it down! Repeat, take off is not authorized!"
Fury hears it and runs out to the deck, holding an RPG. He takes and aims at the tail end of the jet. Unfortunately. Another jet took off. Fury just stands there frustratingly. He pulls out a commlink to call one of the Avengers.
"Stark, do you hear me? You have a missile headed straight for the city." Nick informed. Tony was surrounded by Heartless and Chitauri.
"How long?" He asked before he got his head kicked.
"Three minutes max. The payload will wipe."
"J.A.R.V.I.S. put everything we got into the thrusters!" Tony ordered
"I just did." J.A.R.V.I.S. said to him.
And he just flies out and heads for the missile.
On the sky, 7-Alpha-1-1 arrives outside the city. He flips the switch to press the button. He presses it. The missile is flying out to Manhattan.
"Package is sent. Destination is in 2 minutes, 30 seconds mark." The pilot says.
Cap, Sora and Thor were fighting side to side. They all throw their weapons while Sora finds a street light and somersaults each Heartless. But as Cap turns, , an Energy Blast strikes him down hard. Thor runs over to a broken car, swings the hammer and flips the car over and over on its side, crushing a few Chitauri. Cap struggles to stand on his feet but Sora helps him up. They both give each other a smile.
"So, Sora. You getting tired? Cap asks. Sora scoffs at that question.
"Are you kidding? At Hollow Bastion, I fought over 1000 Heartless and never took my breath."
Back on top of Stark tower, Kairi was holding Loki's scepter while Selvig opened his laptop.
"Right on the crown!" He exclaimed. Kairi then pushed the scepter towards the Tesseract.
"We can close it!" Natasha said through the commlink. "Can anyone hear us? Kairi and I can shut the portal!"
"Then do it!" Cap ordered.
"No, wait!" Tony tells them.
"Stark, they still coming!" Rogers said urgently.
"I got a nuke coming in, it's gonna blow in less than a minute." Tony says as he targets the missile passing towards Manhattan. "And I know just where to put it."
Tony catches the missile before it could strike.
"Stark, you know it's a one way trip." Cap said on the commlink.
"Save the rest for the turn, J." Tony told his AI Butler.
"Sir, Shall I try Miss Potts?" J.A.R.V.I.S. asks Tony.
"Might as well..." Tony answered. He decided to hear her voice in case he doesn't survive this. What he doesn't know is that Pepper is watching the attack on TV, in horror of the destruction in New York. She never heard his Phone call. Meanwhile Tony climbs higher and higher as the Avengers look up. Once he reaches the Portal, He looks in horror that an Armada is coming so he releases the missile towards it. The nuke hits the Chitauri command center, setting off a nuclear explosion.
In Manhattan. All the sudden, all of the Chitauri Soldiers and Leviathans keel over and begin to shake and then stop. They all fall over. The Avengers look up at Tony, not sure if he'll make it through.
"Come on, Tony." Kairi pleaded. Sora, Cap and Thor sees a supernova coming, not wanting to wait any longer, Cap holds his earpiece.
"Close it." He told Kairi. Without hesitating, Kairi pulls the sceptor out. The portal begins to close but luckily Tony Manage to get through which made the Avengers happy to see.
"Son of a gun." Grinned Cap. However they noticed he's coming down fast.
"He's not slowing down." Sora said. Thor begins to swing his hammer to prepare and catch him, however before he could fly off, the Hulk jumps from mid air and catches him. Sora wiped his forehead. Once the Hulk landed, Sora, Cap and Thor approached him as Hulk lied him down. Thor takes off Tony's faceplate. Sora checks is arc reactor. It was getting dim.
Suddenly Hulk roars at Stark loudly that makes echoes around them. That makes Stark's eyes snap open, as he took a deep breath.
"Ah. Ah. What the hell? What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me." He asked. Sora, being relieved that Tony's okay, answered Tony's question.
"We won."
"Alright, yay!" Tony cheered in a sarcastic tone. "Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day."
"Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it."
"I don't know what shawarma is but sure, it won't beat Little chef's cooking." Sora said.
"We're not finished yet." Thor said as he and Cap looks over at Stark tower.
"And then shawarma after?"
After the Hulk slams him down, Loki finally wakes up and slowly climbs up a stair. He takes a few breaths before he slowly turns around. He sees the Avengers confronting him with Kairi holding the staff, Sora pointing his Keyblade at him and Clint aims his arrow. Knowing he lost, he gives a chuckle.
"If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now." Loki said. The Hulk growls at him.
And that's the end of the battle. Boy was that fun to write. After the epilogue is the Winter Solider. I just watched it again and it gets better every time I watch it. Anyway please read and review. Bye!
