Reefside 2005
Billy bumped into a teenager as he stumbled around at his surroundings.
"Hey, watch it!" The teenage kid called out looking at Billy.
Billy looked around and realized he wasn't in Angel Grove anymore in nineteen ninety seven but in two thousand and five in Reefside. He saw the high school sign as it was when he was there before he time shifted previously. Billy sighed, upset that he was in another time period. He was all set to help the turbo rangers take down Divatox's army. Now he's here in a new city he doesn't know anything about only that there are power rangers here.
Perhaps there could be an answer at the high school since this was where he was at previously. But what would the high school show that could help him? Billy wasn't for sure but decided to head towards the school and possibly inside. Maybe there was someone there that could help him.
As Billy walked towards the building, he gazed upon it. It was definitely smaller than Angel Grove High School, but then again Reefside might have a smaller population that Angel Grove.
He was at one of the parking lots as he saw a few more kids walk out of the building. As he continued to walk in the parking lot, he came across someone that seemed familiar, one that Billy might know.
Billy stopped and stared at the man whom was older than the high school kids. His hair was short, spiked up a bit, and he was wearing a white collard shirt, black tie, and black pants. He was at his car putting something in it before he locked the car and turned around.
Billy's eyes widened at the person who he was looking at. "Tommy?"
Billy was perplexed as he saw the man for whom he was friends with in his own time. This Tommy was older in appearance and supported a small goatee that was clean shaven.
As Tommy was heading up the stairs to get to the doors to get inside the school, he had a strange feeling someone was watching him. He turned around only to see the parking lot full of cars from the school staff. He shrugged, turned around, and proceeded to head to the front doors of the school.
Suddenly a noise came and a flash from the sky shined brightly with a mixture of green and black. An invisiportal opened up and six tyrannodrones came out of it.
Tommy turned around and looked at the six creatures. "You know, I was almost about to say I had a pretty good day before you clowns showed up. Almost."
Suddenly one of the creatures kicked Tommy in the stomach. Tommy grabbed his stomach and shielded it trying to ease the pain he was now experiencing.
"Alright, you want a fight? You got it!"
With the pain going away from the kick to the stomach, Tommy karate chopped one of the tyrannodrones away from him. The five creatures came running towards the black ranger.
Tommy spun around, jumped in the air, and landed on the other side of the tyrannodrones to give himself some room. The tyrannodrones turned around and started to charge after him.
Tommy punched one in the chest and hit another one in the stomach. He quickly moved away from the others who were charging at him hoping to separate them. One of the tyrannodrones came running towards him before Tommy hit it in the neck. Despite the hit, the tyrannodrone was still on it's feet and hit Tommy in the chest.
Another tyrannodrone kicked Tommy in the chest that made the black ranger hit the ground where he fell.
Suddenly the foot soldiers surrounded Tommy as he was on the ground trying to get back up.
Billy had been watching the fight and knew he had to intervene. Whatever these things were, they not only looked tough, but they were about to get the best of his friend.
As the tyrannodrones were about to knock at Tommy, they suddenly heard a battle cry yell.
Billy came in and punched one of the creatures in the face as hard as he could that sent it to the ground.
Another tyrannodrone came running at the blue ranger. As the creature was right next to Billy and about to hit the blue ranger, Billy flipped through air and behind the tyrannodrone. Billy then proceeded to kick the tyrannodrone in the body knocking it to the ground.
Billy spun around right next to Tommy who was flabbergasted at the sight of the blue ranger.
"Billy?" Tommy was confused as to seeing his friend in town.
Billy didn't waste any time and pulled Tommy from the ground. "I've got to explain some things to you, but first we got to get rid of these things."
As Billy finished up what he was saying to Tommy, one of the tyrannodrones tried to grab the blue ranger but failed as Billy hit the creature.
Tommy then fought another tyrannodrone and knocked it to the ground. Another one tried to get a hold of Tommy but it too met the same fate as it's other companions.
Mesogog's Island Lair
The dinosaur like monster known at Mesogog, who was Anton Mercer in a horrible accident and would revert back to his human counterpart every day, was looking at the monitor watching Tommy fight off his tyrannodrones along with the new person to whom the villain did not know anything about.
Mesogog gazed sharply at the teenager in blue disposing of his foot soldiers along with Tommy. Even though he had sent his tyrannodrones down a mere distraction to see if they could get the best of the good doctor, Mesogog was less than thrilled when another person was helping out.
Mesogog moved the fingers of his right hand back and forth as he was now irritated. He had to find who this new mysterious person was since known of the other humans would help out the rangers when the tyrannodrones would appear throughout the city.
Reefside High School
In another part of the campus, Principal Randall, was watching over students who were continuing to get out of the school for the day. The students did not like her. She was cold, mean, and never showed an ounce of compassion or friendliness towards the students like the rest of the school staff did to them. Even the school staff did not really like her that much. She was all business and never made an attempt to get to know the rest of the teachers and assistants. Unbeknownst to anyone, she was actually Elsa, Mesogog's second in command.
Randall eyed one of the students who walked past her. The student glanced at the woman before his eyes turned back in fear since Randall was watching him. The student picked up his pace to get away from her.
Randall let out a small grin. "Yea, you better run kid."
Suddenly Randall heard a beeping sound from her pocket. The message was to let her know that Mesogog needed her. Despite the fact the she was loyal to her master, she did get irritated when her boss called for her services when she was under the guise of the principal.
How can he expect me to go to him while I'm doing my job as the principal of this rat infested school, she thought.
Randall turned to the assistant principal who was also making sure the students get home safely. "Take over. I've got a meeting to get to."
Randall swiftly left the area, went back inside the school, and proceeded to walk into her office. She closed the door to make sure no one would see her.
A green and black light appeared from the top. The lights were dancing around like a strobe light at a night club. Suddenly an invisible portal appeared and transported the woman from the room.
Otherside of the high school
Billy and Tommy eyed the six tyrannodrones who were all grouped up together. They had been defeated. Suddenly an invisiportal appeared and teleported the creatures away from the two rangers.
With that event over with, Tommy looked at Billy and studied him for a quick second. Billy looked the same as he did when he had left to go to Aquitar when he had aged. Billy was cured of his aging thanks to the Aquitarian rangers and chose to remain there. Tommy had not seen Billy since then and heard very little of the man except a few calls here and there. Billy for the most part had moved on with his life.
Tommy smiled at the man. "Billy! It's good to see you!" Tommy and Billy embraced a friendly hug. "I can't believe it's really you after all these years," he said after they had finished their hug.
"How have you been?" Tommy was glad to see his friend. "You haven't aged a day since I last saw you nine years ago."
Nine years ago? Billy thought. It had been nine years since the other Billy, the one that is supposedly here, has seen Tommy. If Billy could get out of this time shifting mess, he would have to make a note to not let his friendship go astray.
"Uh, Tommy, we need to talk," Billy said.
Tommy, somewhat confused on what was going on, decided to hear out what was going on with his friend.
They walked inside the school and allow Billy to tell Tommy everything.
Mesogog's Island Lair
Elsa had changed her persona from Randall to herself. The clothes she had worn while working as the principal, a black suit and white shirt underneath were gone, and was wearing her attire when she was in Mesogog's lair.
Even though she was wondering why her master had summoned her, she was also irritated for being called into his services while she was masquerading at the principal.
"Master, how can I do my job as a high school principal and doing after school duties when I'm being called away in short notice. The other school staff are going to start…."
"SILENCE!" Mesogog screamed out at his subordinate before she could continue on her rant.
Elsa flinched thinking she was about to get attacked by Mesogog. When she noticed she wasn't, she opened her eyes at her boss who was looking at the monitor.
"We have a problem," the dinosaur creature snarled.
Elsa turned her attention as the monitor that showed Tommy taking out some of the tyrannodrones from earlier along with Billy Cranston who Mesogog and Elsa did not know anything about.
"Who's that, and when did the tyrannodrones attack Oliver?"
"The good doctor was attacked ten minutes ago," Mesogog snarled his answer. "As for your first question, I don't know who he is, but he helped Oliver fight off an attack to which has caused me to be in a fowl mood."
When are you even in a good mood? Elsa thought as she looked at her boss. Mesogog rarely showed any other emotion to let her know that he was pleased or happy. Usually he was upset about something and would take out his frustrations on Elsa and the traitor turned Zeltrax before he had left Mesogog's services.
The images on the monitor ended and the monitor turned to black. Mesogog looked at Elsa. "I want to know who that person is for he seems to be a friend of Doctor Oliver. Perhaps we can use him to our advantage," the dinosaur monster growled.
Elsa looked at her boss showing a devious smile towards him.
