Marinette hadn't been to school in a month. She was only supposed to be out for a week but Adrien had spoken to Gabriel about letting Marinette stay home longer.

Today was her first day back. She got up at six forty five to get read. She took a nice long shower, ate her breakfast, and brushed her teeth.

"Marinette, you've been standing at your closest for ten minutes."

"I know."

"You need to hurry up! It's already seven thirty! Pick something!"

"Okay, okay! I will!" Marinette picked out a teal sweater and gray jeans. She slipped on her black flats before going to the car. She walked outside to see Adrien holding the car door open for her.

"Good morning Marinette!" Adrien smiled at her. He was like a ray of sunshine.

"G-good morning."

"Don't be nervous. I'll be with you the whole time. Our friends have your back to."

"Our friends?"

Adrien tilted his head at Marinette. "What do you mean?"

"I didn't think they liked me very much."

Adrien placed a hand on her shoulder. "Of course they do. Why would they not like you. Your amazing.

Before Marinette could reply the car stopped at the front of the school. Marinette and Adrien got out of the car and headed into the school. The made there way to the lockeroom. Marinette was surprised to see that noone was there. Marinette got her things out of her locker and then went to class with Adrien.

When they entered the classroom the only one there was Chloe. She was talking on her phone.

"I just saw you a few weeks ago. I know I wasn't there long but my friend was injured. I don't know when I'll be back. Bye Mom" Chloe hung up the phone and looked up to see Adrien and Marinette.

"Marinette! Your back!" Chloe ran over and gave her a big hug. "I've missed you so much. How are you?"

"I'm fine"

Chloe sighed while shaking her head. "If you say so Mari. Class starts in a few minutes why don't you and Adrien sit beside eachother."

Adrien nodded and gestured for Marinette to sit down next to him.

Students started to pile in and take there seats. Marinette was tapping her foot impatiently. She shouldn't be here, she shouldn't have come.

"Hey Adrien" A sickenly sweet voice called out. "Why don't you sit next to me today."

Marinette had her eyes squeezed shut. Why did she come today.

Adrien pulled Marinette closer to him. "No Lila. As you can see I'm already sitting beside Marinette. There's a seat open beside Alya. Why don't you sit there?"

Lila put on a fake smile. "Okay!" She chirped. "How about you come sit we me at lunch."

"Sorry Lila I'm eating with Marinette."

(Ring!)

"Lila take a seat, class is starting." Mrs. Bustier called out. With a huff Lila sat next to Alya.

It was the end of the day and Marinette was in the bathroom. She knew Adrien was waiting outside the school for her so she was trying to hurry. She didn't need another Lila run in.

She exited the bathroom and went to her locker. She opened the locker door and several notes fell out. She shoved them in her backpack. She would get Tikki to read them to her later. She closed her locker and made her way outside.

She spotted Adrien standing by the car with a certain liar and her reporter friend. Lila was hanging all over him while Alya was snapping pictures.

"Marinette" Adrien called out. "You ready to go?"

"Y-yes"

"She's riding with you?" Alya questioned.

"Yes she is Alya. We need to go now."

As Marinette and Adrien got in the car Lila stood there dumb founded. Lila knew Adrien and Marinette had gotten closer but not this close. This wasn't supposed to happen. Looks like it's time for plan b.

Marinette got home ate dinner with Adrien and Gabriel. She finally was free to do whatever she wanted. She got Tikki to read the notes in her locker. Tikki finished the reading the letters and was in tears.

"Marinette, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, I need a warm shower." Marinette walked in the bathroom and locked to door. She cut on the water and grabbed her razor.

Slut.

Waste of space.

Bitch.

Ugly.

Fat.

Trash.

These are the words that had played in her head.

One cut.

Two cut.

Three cut.

By the time she was done her arms and legs were covered in cuts. She quickly rinsed and cleaned her cuts. Cutting off the water she got dressed and went to bed.

She hated being this way. She didn't know why she had to keep doing this.
