OMG I'M SORRY.
It started out fine but then I wrote Cloud and Samus a bit OOC, my bad.
Link had never been one to brag too much. He was a veteran from the original tournament, but there really wasn't anything too special about it. Sure, he had the Master Sword and the Triforce of Courage, but it wasn't anything too special.
Over time, he realized that soon, becoming the wielder of a sacred sword would be a common thing, especially once Marth and Roy joined him.
Now, they were a party of 10, who all used somewhat of a sword in the majority of their attacks.
Walking into the Sword Wing, he saw Cloud, Shulk, Ike, and Marth all sitting in a circle on the ground. Cloud and Marth both had stern expressions on their faces, Shulk looked apprehensive, and Ike looked like he didn't have a care in the world.
"Hey, Link, care to join us?" Marth asked. To Link, it was now blatantly obvious what they were doing. Shulk, Marth, and Cloud were all cleaning their swords, but Ike seemed to be… sharpening it?
"Uh, alright. What exactly do all of you hope to achieve by wiping your swords with rags?"
Cloud looked up to face him, then shot a glare at Marth. "Princey here thinks that his sword looks better than mine when it's fully polished!"
"I never said it looked better, I said it WAS better!"
Cloud snorted. "Yeah right, as if a little toothpick like yours would be able to do any real damage!"
"DON'T YOU DARE INSULT THE FALCHION!"
"And what if I am? You gonna poke me to death?" Cloud retorted.
Link facepalmed. Deep Breaths, he reminded himself.
"Both of you… SHUT YOUR FACES PLEASE. Just… clean the swords okay? It doesn't always need to be a competition."
Marth looked away and indignantly began to intensely rub what seemed like a speck of dirt on his sword. Cloud on the other hand, seemed to be looking for trouble.
"Looks like the little princey is getting salty!" He said smugly.
Link glared at Cloud, and wished that his eyes could mentally slap the Ex-SOLDIER in the face.
Shulk meekly whispered to Ike, "How can you just ignore them?"
"Ignoring Cloud once he gets annoying is one of my most refined and prized skills, Shulk. Also, Cloud, I estimate you have roughly 30 seconds before Marth blows his top and starts chasing you.
Cloud rolled his eyes, clearly not buying it.
Link sighed. He knew he would need to contact someone before a fight broke out.
Private Messaging (with Zelda)
Link: Zel?
Link: Ned help
Zelda: What is so urgent that you didn't bother to check your spelling?
Link: S-Wing
Link: Cloud is provoking Marth.
Zelda: ...He does realize that Marth could send like 20 people after him right?
Zelda: Marth is a very prominent figure in our society.
Link: Help
Zelda: What?
Link: OMG Cloud dismissed Ike's warning.
Zelda: … Lemme guess, Marth is chasing him now?
Link: Yep
Link: With Falchion
Zelda: Whatever you do, don't let Lucina or Chrom in. They will most likely side with Marth.
Zelda: Also, don't let Ike see it.
Link: Ike is already here.
Link: He's still sharpening Ragnell as if nothing happened.
Zelda: ...Oh Hylia…
Link: ?
Zelda: Link, I need you to get whomever else is in the room out.
Link: ?
Zelda: He's probably planning to penetrate the ground with Ragnell…
Link: ?
Zelda: Blue Fire, Link
Link: ?
Link: Oh, you mean Eruption.
Link: Eh, whatever. Why exactly do I need to get everyone out?
Zelda: Blue Volcano goes Boom.
Link: Oh… ok.
Link: Please ignore me, I am mentally screaming at myself to save my poor life.
With this, Link put his phone away, and glanced at Shulk, who was nervously looking at the action. Ike had already stood up and started marching towards the other two.
"Hey Shulk. Zel says we should get out of here. If you want, we can spar in the training room while those three duke it out."
Shulk strapped the Monado to his back and nodded, the pair heading out of the room.
Meanwhile, Palutena and Pit were having a wonderful day. They had just came from Smashville, and were having a nice walk back to the mansion.
Just then, Pit pointed to one of the windows. "Hey, Lady Palutena, what's that?".
The goddess looked to where Pit was pointing. There was blue smoke coming out of the window, a sign for concern.
"Pit, I don't know what exactly happened there, but what about tonight you can crash in my room, alright?"
"Really Lady Palutena!? That sounds cool!"
"Don't let your twin know, but I kept ice cream and chocolate in the mini fridge! If you want, you can go get them now. I… have some business to attend to… Don't worry, I'll meet you in the room soon, alright? And whatever you do, don't go into the Sword Wing. Looks like trouble there to me."
When Pit flew off, Palutena switched direction and began to head towards Samus's room.
"Coward! Get back here and face me!"
"Ooh, is the prince's sword not long enough to reach me?" Cloud taunted.
"Ugh, you're so full of yourself!" Marth had anger practically written all over his face.
Ike had just had enough. Slamming his sword into the ground, he yelled, "BOTH OF YOU, CUT IT OUT!"
"It's not my fault that the Buster Sword beats Falchion!"
"Oh, you take that back!"
What had once looked like a game of cat and mouse was now an extremely heated fight.
Once the swords clashed, Ike walked out of the wing, locked the main doors, then proceeded to look for help. He happened to promptly bump into Robin, who was with Samus, Zelda and Palutena.
"Oh… Hey guys…"
"Greetings, Ike! Let me guess, those two are fighting?" the Hylian asked.
"Well… fighting is an understatement."
"Ah, and about the blue fire?" Palutena interjected
"That was me trying to get them to stop. Cloud is being… a lump of pegasi dung right now…"
Robin promptly unlocked the door to take a peek inside, then gasped in shock. "They're literally destroying the furniture now!"
Samus rolled her eyes, and flung the door open. "Boys, what in the name of every divine being I know are you doing in here?!"
Marth and Cloud froze.
Samus looked pretty annoyed. "When some people try to sleep, they get interrupted by complaints about boys misbehaving. Can't you take this to the training room or something, where the walls are SOUNDPROOF?"
The anger in the prince's eyes faded into something more as shame. Cloud on the other hand, didn't seem intimidated at all.
"M-my apologies Samus. We did not mean to cause such a ruckus…" Marth said timidly, Ike walking over to grab his hand as a form of reassurance and comfort.
"And you Cloud?"
"Pfft. Whatever, at least my sword is still better than his."
That was clearly not the right answer. Within the next minute, he was on the ground, with Samus's Plasma gun pointed at his face.
"Lesson learned?"
"Uh... don't fight outside of the training room?"
"No. It's that Spikey sucks when annoying, and as long as you annoy me, I will come to kick butt."
Robin smiled at the scene. He had recorded the entire scenario, phone in hand.
Robin has created a Chat
Robin has added Lucina and Chrom to the chat.
Robin: Hey guys
Lucina: Yes?
Chrom: Hello Robin.
Robin: Check this out.
Robin: Cloud_Butt_Kicked_.mp4
Lucina: Is that… Samus?
Robin: Yep
Chrom: Oop
Robin: Chrom, what did you do?
Chrom: I may or may not have forwarded the vid to everyone in the mansion :)
