Crescent dreams

Crescent was sitting in a field with her old lover next to her, they both were watching herself and Ruby enjoying the sunset in the distance "I seem to be getting better now" Crescent said to her old lover who smiled at her.

"I know I saw you managed to fight that shadow and didn't give into your anger but yet you still haven't forgiven yourself" Crescent knew she would say that.

"it's hard I try to but when I try it's just I end up back where I was" she said looking down on the ground she felt her old lover hugging into her.

"I know but you must try and maybe if you find our old team mates and explained to them what happened they might forgive you and it might make it easier on you" Crescent looked away in pouting at this.

"I can't they have changed their names to which I can't find their new names!" said in disappointment at this.

Just then she felt her old lover hugging her "I know but you will get there trust me" she hears before the world faded away.

End of dreams

Crescent shot up looking around seeing the sun was just making it way as she quietly hugged into her pillow and cried when she felt her mother hugging into her while being rocked back and forth to help her calm down

20 minutes later

Once she had calmed down she was left alone as she got up looking out the window she then looked down at a photo she had in her hand smiling sadly at it as it showed her, her old lover and two other males one is a human with bright blonde hair and blue eyes the other was a Faunus ram with horns he has dark brown hair and green eyes they all were hugging into each other standing in front of the main building at Beacon Academy all smiling away and almost laughing, she smiled at the memories on that day turning it around she saw a small massage they all wrote 'we all will stick together no matter what' sniffing and wiping away a tear she looked up at the sky again taking a deep breath she made her usual dress appear and left the room.

3 hours later

Crescent was walking around the school seeing some students getting ready to leave for their first field assignment she noticed her other team JNPR was gearing up "hay Crescent?" she hears Jaune shouting out to her.

"hay team well good luck out their!" she said with a smile on her.

"it a shame you aren't coming with us!" Zheng hears Nora saying disappointed tone.

"I know but the school need me here to keep it safe despite the crime dropping down in recent weeks" she said to her.

"we understands Crescent!" she turned to Pyrrha who smiled at her as she nods to her.

She noticed the time and faced the team "well I won't keep you waiting go" she said pointing to the door and watching them leaving but must then she hears city of Vale alarms going off looking at the city with worry she rushed off to find a spot to make herself a portal.

City of Vale

Ruby POV

Ruby had just got up and saw her team was surrounded by Grimms with a determined nod to her team as they all went into fighting.

15 minutes later

Ruby had stopped to take a breath when she noticed a huge Ursa up in front of giving her no time to react she saw it huge claw up in the air but just suddenly it stopped and went stiff then collapsing in front of with shock eyes she saw two arrows in it head and two in it back looking up at the only building in front of her she saw it was Crescent with her bow and arrows sighing a relief and then smiling while waving to her.

Crescent POV

Crescent saw her new lover waving to her as she smiled at her enthusiastic when she noticed Atlas had arrived jumping down to land next to her she rushed up to Ruby giving her a hug "are you okay?!" she asked with concern in her voice.

"yes I am fine thank you for that save!" she hears Ruby saying with shock in her voice.

"no problem now let get into the fight" she said rushing off in a random direction to kill a few Sabyr Grimms.

35 minutes later

Crescent stopped to see a huge Ursa throwing a car into the tea shop she and her mother had spent in a few days ago gasping in shock at this sudden feeling of losing the next best thing that had been the happiest moment with her mother she suddenly felt this anger rising up walking onto a stage she caught a lot of Grimms attention as well as a few students she watched as the Grimms came closer putting away her bow and arrows she brought out her lover sword and whispered "I am sorry!" with a sudden burst of speed she zoomed in and out, around Grimms slicing through them feeling herself losing control of her emotions but she didn't care all it was on her mind now was kill them all she would bring her Grimms here but she didn't want anyone knowing them yet.

Third person POV

Pyrrha , Jaune and Ruby stopped and noticed Crescent being surrounded but they noticed her expression it was anger they watched as she suddenly burst towards the Grimms killing them all, they wanted to stop her before she got hurt or worse but yet they were stopped by Glynda who shaken her head in concern to them.

Glynda POV

Glynda managed to fix the hole when she noticed her daughter emotions looking around to what could've made her angry when she saw the tea shop they had been at was destroyed sighing in sadness as she now knew what caused this she noticed Ruby, Jaune and Pyrrha were about to stop her daughter fearing for their lives she stopped them "no don't interfere she will hurt you remember what I told you about her emotions?" she saw two of them nodding only with Pyrrha confused by this.

When they looked back towards Crescent they noticed she was standing in a huge pile of Grimms that was slowly dissolving away but yet she noticed her daughter wasn't calming down fearing for her own daughter safety as well as the others she walked up to her and did one of the ways that would get her calming down.

Crescent POV

She had stopped after she had killed many of the Grimms she noticed the fighting was starting to die down but yet she wasn't gaining control again when suddenly she heard that male voice again "see once again you are fighting to gain control of your emotions all because of a tea shop!" she tries to ignore him.

"no it was a happy place for me" she said in her mind when suddenly she gasped in shock hearing a song being sung by her mother who was walking up to her.

"hush my little one..

The time has come to rest...!"

She began to feel herself calming down.

"it time to be at peace..

And wash away you fear"

She felt her emotions trying to fight it but yet she wanted to calm down before anything bad could happen.

"it'll be okay as I shall be here

I will keep you safe"

She was now face to face with her mother who hugged into and with that she suddenly just blanked out into the hug.

Glynda POV

When she sang that line and hugged into her daughter she felt her whole body went limp and hearing her sword dropping out of her hand she slowly brought her daughter down to lay on the ground when a pair of medical officers arrived to take her to the infirmary she picked up the sword and followed after her not even staying to explain what that was about.

Ruby POV

After watching the whole thing play out she wanted to go with them to make sure her love was okay as well so rushing off with Jaune and Pyrrha behind her they grabbed a plane to get to Beacon.

2 hours later

Crescent POV

Crescent slowly opened her eyes to a white ceiling and a bleeping noise looking to her left she saw a heart rate monitor that was keeping check of her heart turning to her right she saw her mother sitting next to her "daughter how are you feeling?!" she hears the worry in her mother voice.

"I am sorry mother!" she said just as tears came flooding out of her.

She felt her mother hugging into her to calm her down "sssshhhh it okay you did nothing wrong no one got hurt!" she hugs into her mother.

25 minutes later

Glynda POV

Glynda watched from behind the glass as her daughter slept in the infirmary bed after she had cried herself to sleep when she saw Ruby, Jaune and Pyrrha walking up to her "Miss Goodwitch how is she?" she hears Jaune asking her.

Calming them all down "she will be fine she is just exhausted she used up a lot of her semblance the doctors says she just need a bit of a rest" she saw them realising a breath of relief.

"can we go in to see her?" she hears Ruby asking her thinking it wouldn't hurt she nods to them as she watched them all walked in and seeing her daughter waking up.

Ruby POV

Ruby opened the door and saw her lover laying in bed waking up she saw the monitor keep an eye on her heart as she just rushed up to her giving her a hug "I was worried you were hurt!" she said cornered for her.

"I am fine Ruby thank you" she hears Crescent saying as they all taken a seat.

"so how are you feeling?" she hears Pyrrha asking as she sat next to Jaune.

"I am fine the doctor says I can leave after 4 hours once I have rested enough and their happy enough that I have fully recovered" Ruby smiled hearing that.

Glynda POV

Glynda watched from the window when she noticed Ozpin was next her "how is she?" she hears him asking.

Closing her eyes she sigh "she is fine she just needs a rest" she said still looking over the scene.

"and how was she during that battle?" she knew he would asked that one question.

Turning to face him "how do you think she is doing?" she saw him about answer but she stopped him "let me tell you she is afraid that she would've hurt innocent people again I saw her almost losing control of her emotions I had to sing that Lullaby song that puts her to sleep" she saw him flinching "but the worst part is it hurting her being here but yet she want to be here so don't try to play father now our daughter is in there scared to fight at her best scared in case she loses control and hurt those she cares about" she walks away leaving Ozpin alone to think.

Some time later

In the city bug POV

The bug that was still watching over the three people saw a tall man with a mask on walking up to them worried about this it left to inform it mistress about this updated.

Crescent POV

Crescent was in her room still exhausted from the fight when she noticed one of her bug Grimms was at the window opening it up to allow it in she did the thing she did with her glyph and saw what it saw puzzled by this strange man facing the bug "thank you now go back to them" she said seeing it moving away to get back leaving her alone in the room "who are you I wonder?" she question herself looking out the window.

A few days after the battle

Third person POV

Crescent was leading Ruby in town as this was their first date that they agreed on so she lead her to the tea shop that was rebuilt "Crescent it nice" Ruby said amazed by it look "but isn't this you and your mother special place to get together?" she asked.

"yes but it doesn't mean I can't share it with my love can I" Crescent said with a smile leading her to a table as they sat down to have their orders taken.

"so how are things?" Crescent asked Ruby.

"it been great so far I am worried about this festival though!" Ruby said with worry in her voice.

"don't worry I and Ironwood have been working together to keeping this event safe as possible or as much as he thinks!" she said as she didn't want to tell her the other half of the things.

"I know now let enjoying this day before we have to go back to school" Ruby said as she taken a sip of her tea and went to enjoy their moment of peace.

A few days later

Ruby POV

Ruby was scared she was sent to Miss Goodwitch office when she entered she saw her at her desk doing some paperwork "come Ruby" she quickly went up to her desk.

"do you know why I called you here?" Ruby tried to think what it could be but couldn't ring any bells.

"um... no!" she said unsure of herself.

Hearing her sigh and watching her place her glassed down "it about you and my daughter" her heart suddenly shot up in fear of what she had to say "I know you both are in love with each other and I am happy for you both especially my daughter I thought she wouldn't love again" she was confused by what she said.

"um miss Goodwitch what do you mean?" she asked.

She saw Goodwitch getting up walking to a cupboard and pulling out a photograph "has she told you about her past?" she shaken her head "the reason I said that was because she once had a lover but sadly something terrible happened to her which broke my daughter heart!" she hears her saying with sadness in her voice.

She was handed the photo as she looked at it seeing Crescent and a Faunus female wolf with grey ears and a grey bushy tail both of them smiling away and was embracing each other in a loving kind of way she noted the world C+C in the middle of a heart "she is beautiful!" Ruby said in amazement handing her the photo back.

"yes she was the kindest person my daughter ever meet she managed to keep her in control of her emotions and help her keep calm" she watched as Goodwitch placed it back in the cupboard.

"what exactly happened then?" she question her on this.

She saw Goodwitch wiping away a tear "her team was out on a mission when something happened to Crimson that was her name by the way she was injured in a way she couldn't be helped died laying in her arms after that her team broke up she swore to never fall in love again" she looked down on the ground in sadness hearing this about her lover.

"so I am telling you this for you own good to be aware of what she went through please look after her if I can't be there I will tell you a few ways to keep her calm and happy if you want" she looks back at Goodwitch and nods.

"yes please it help me then" she said seeing her nod with a smile as they went on talking.

A few hours later

Ruby was in her room thinking about what Miss Goodwitch said to her about Crescent past she couldn't believe it yet Crescent seems so strong she thought back to those moments in the past when she met her and when they hung out just then it click into she been hiding those pains by making herself look strong yet she suffering laying her head down on her pillow as she then went to sleep.

Ruby dreams

Ruby woke up in a field seeing it was warm and sunny day looking around she spotted a lonely tree where she saw Crescent sitting there all alone "she is suffering!" quickly turning around to the voice she saw that girl from the photo confused and scared at this she saw the girl looking over to Crescent.

"what...how...!" she said confused on this situation.

"please calm yourself I know this is confusion and I can't even explain this I know you know who I am" she nods slowly to her still stunned by this "look yes Crescent is suffering".

Ruby looked back towards Crescent seeing her sitting quietly all alone "but why?" she asked now calmed about this.

"she blames herself for what happened to me she keeps telling herself she is the one to blame but yet we all have been trying to tell her it wasn't her fault" she hears the sadness in the girl voice.

"isn't there anything to help her?" she asked her.

"sadly not for her condition all you can do is be there when she is at her darkest moments or when she is down" she saw Crescent just laying there with a smile.

"but how can we tell, she seems to hide it so well" she said facing the wolf Faunus.

"that she does she has perfected the art of hiding it but if you look carefully like your friend Pyrrha who has noticed her changed in emotions and other thing you would see she is upset" she saw the wolf girl looking to Crescent with sad eyes.

"what happened that day please if you tell me more to understand it then perhaps it would help us to help her?" Ruby pleaded with the girl.

Seeing her looking away in sadness "I can't it not my place to tell only she can I would believe me but it won't help her heal she is the one that need to tell were it will help her but I want you to do something for me" with a gasp of shock she faces the girl.

"please look after her for me treat her like she is the only thing you have in the world she is a very broken girl she would push people she cares for away as not to hurt them but yet she is also a girl who is crying out for help but she won't accept it please help her to heal and show her you are all there for her" she faces Crescent seeing her beautiful face smooth skin and gorgeous hair.

"she is the only thing I care about I want to keep her safe" she gasped again at being hugged by her.

"thank you this is all I asked of you" she watched the scene fade away into nothing where she just slept the rest of the night away.
