The rangers had their toughest fight yet against Dragight. They were able to pull through, but Dragight survived. Now that Dragight has entered, it could cause more problems for the rangers.
"Do you see how tough the rangers are now?" Scarlie said. "Now do you see what I've been dealing with?" Dragight has been giving Scarlie a hard time about not conquering Earth, but perhaps he had a change of mind after seeing what the rangers can do.
"All I see are a bunch of fools." Dragight said. "Just because they won last time doesn't mean they could win all the time. That's why I called in for a true master of dark power to step in. Someone that can easily do what you could not." Scarlie thought it over and only one person came to her mind.
"You didn't." Scarlie said as she seemed afraid. That was when something like a storm was going on and the whole place was shaking. None of them like this, but Dragight did.
"What's going on?" Vyla questioned.
"He has already arrived." Dragight said.
"Is it who I think it is?" Zabaro questioned.
"It is." Dragight said. A bolt of lightning shot inside the palace and someone stood where it struck. He was a towering figure that wore a black cloak with his body a mixture of black and blue and had bad blue spikes for hair with light blue skin. "Welcome, Master Locore."
"Hello, Scarlie." Locore said and he didn't sound approving.
"Hi...Daddy." Scarlie said. Daddy? Locore is Scarlie's Daddy?
"Dragight told me what's been going on. You can't conquer one little planet?" Lorcore said. Scarlie seemed terrified of her father.
"It's not my fault!" Scarlie said as she dropped to her knees and crawled over to him, begging for forgiveness and mercy. "I've been doing my best. I swear I have. I'm close, I promise."
"That's a lie. She's been nothing, but a failure the whole time she was here." Dragight said.
"You red lizard backstabber!" Scarlie said.
"I was never on your side, pest." Dragight said as he enjoyed seeing Scarlie squrim.
"Master Locore, it really isn't her fault." Zabaro said. "We've been dealing with opposing forces. We were once sealed away. Once we got out, we encountered a force called Power Rangers. They foil everyone of your daughter's plans."
"I don't want to hear any excuses." Locore said as he looked down at his daughter. "I taught you that when you conquer a world, you have to crush their hope and make sure no one can resist."
"I know, but those rangers are stubborn and persistent." Scarlie said. "As long as they're around, the people of that planet have hope. I can't do anything until I get rid of those meddling rangers, but none of my plans have worked."
"I should have known you would constantly fail." Locore said as he grabbed her and pulled her up and she seemed really scared. "I am the destroyer of many, the ruler of dark powers, the embodiment of fear and destruction. I can't have a daughter that's a constant failure."
"Wait!" Zabaro said. "I have an idea that can get rid of the rangers. If we get rid of them, taking over the world should be easy. Please, just give us one chance. She's your daughter. Don't you at least owe her that?" Lorcore remained quiet and they were hoping for the best.
"I hope you know what you're doing." Vyla said.
"Very well." Locore said as he released Scarlie. "One last chance." That was a relief to Scarlie as she was terrified on what her father might do to her.
"It should be amusing to see your plan go up in flames." Dragight said.
"Zabaro, I hope this is a good plan." Scarlie said.
"It is. I've noticed something with Green Ranger." Zabaro said. "It would seem that whenever she's not morph or separated from her brother, she seems to lose confidence in herself and becomes unsure. If we can keep her from morphing and separated from the others, we should be able to take care of at least one ranger."
"That...that could actually work." Scarlie said.
"It better...for your sake." Locore said and Scarlie didn't like the sound of that. Now that her father is around, Scarlie can't afford failure. Whoever this Locore is, one thing is for certain: he's someone you don't want to upset.

The Park
Zabaro was right. Valerie isn't as confident as she usually is when she's morphed or when David is around. She knows that's a problem and she needs to do something to fix it. She tried training and tried practicing her fighting moves against a tree, but she stopped at the last second.
"Urgh! I just can't do this!" Valerie shouted as she was real mad at herself. "I'm starting to wonder if I made a mistake agreeing to being a ranger." She pressed her back against the tree and slid down. As she was moping around, David came by and spotted her.
"Hey! There you are." David said as he came over. "What are you doing here?"
"Nothing really. Just trying to do some thinking." Valerie said.
"Are you ever not thinking? Don't you ever just act?" David said as he sat next to her. "You sure nothing's wrong? You seem like there's something bothering you."
"It's nothing." Valerie said. She didn't really want to talk about her problems with David.
"Don't forget that we're siblings and we can tell each other anything. We're there for each other, right?" David said. Valerie nodded, but it didn't make her talk. David wants to help his sister, but won't force her. Instead, he reached inside and pulled out a small charm from his pocket that looked like half a circle. "Still got this?"
"Always." Valerie said as she pulled out the other half that she wore as a necklace. "We've had these ever since we were kids. We were real close even back then."
"Yeah. We were told that as long as both siblings have a half, we're always going to be close and are always with each other." David said. It always did had Valerie feel better knowing her brother was always with her. However, their sibling moment was ruined when some golems appeared around them.
"What are they doing here?" Valerie said.
"Looking for trouble, as usual." David said as he got up and kicked one back. A few of them tried to hold him off, but they all gathered around Valerie. Valerie tried to avoid them and tried to fight them off, but they were able to grab her. David could see they were in trouble and reached for his communicator. "Guys, Val and I need help. Come to the park."
"David, a little help!" Valerie said.
"Val!" David said as he pushed through and tried to save her, but one grabbed him and held him back. The golems were about to take her away, but the other rangers showed up and came to her rescue as they all pushed the golems away from her and she fell to the ground. Travis hit one in the head and kicked him back. Robby spun around and kicked one to Joey and he kicked it right in the gut. Abby had one spin around and kicked it in the back towards Sierra and she hit in the head to knock it down. The others were able to fight off the golems until they were sent away.
"You okay, Valerie?" Sierra said as she helped her up.
"Yeah. That was weird. It looked like they were only after me." Valerie said.
"Why would they only be after you?" Travis said.
"I'm not sure." Valerie said. "You know what, I think I'm just going to head home and try to relax."
"You want one of us to go with you?" Joey offered.
"No. That's okay." Valerie said as she just went on ahead and they all hoped she was going to be okay. Valerie just kept on walking and was all on her now. She thought she wasn't that good of a ranger before, but after dealing with those golems and couldn't help the others, she's even more convinced. Valerie just kept on walking until Scarlie herself appeared in front of her.
"Hi, Val!" Scarlie called out and got her attention. Valerie was surprised to see Scarlie in person.
"Scarlie? You're actually here?" Valerie said.
"That's right, but you soon won't be." Scarlie said as she held out her scepter and used her magic. Her magic enveloped around Valerie and it took her away. Scarlie's plan was on track and she laughed as she couldn't see how this one would fail.
...
Valerie
Valerie was transported some place else. She was sent to a place that had tall and dry looking grass. It actually looked similar to Africa. Valerie looked around and had no clue where she was.
"Where am I?" Valerie questioned. She reached for her communicator, but she saw it wasn't on her wrist anymore. She felt around noticed something else was missing. "My communicator and morpher are gone!"
"Looking for these?!" Valerie turned around and she was faced with Zabaro as he had her communicator and morpher in her hands. "You won't be going anywhere, Green Ranger, or should I call you Valerie since you can't morph." Valerie didn't like this at all.
...
The Command Center
"Zultro! Red alert! Red alert!" Gamma called out as he could see something was wrong.
"What is it Gamma?" Zultro asked.
"I was monitoring the rangers' signals and it's Valerie. She seems to have disappeared!" Gamma said.
"Disappeared?" Zultro questioned as he took a look on the computer and saw there was no sign of her anywhere. "Contact the other rangers and alert them on what's going on."
...
The Youth Center
Meanwhile, the other rangers were just hanging out at the Youth Center. The others were having a good time, but David's thoughts kept going back to Valerie.
"David, you okay?" Abby asked.
"Yeah. Just a little worried about Valerie." David said. "I think something's been bothering her lately, but she won't talk to me about it."
"I'm sure she's fine." Joey said. "Valerie's smart, tough, really pretty, and much more. I don't see what could bother a great girl like her." As soon as he said that, all eyes turned to him.
"Joey! Do I sense you having a little crush on Valerie?" Sierra questioned.
"What?! No..." Joey said as he tried to play it cool, but the others weren't convinced. They didn't get a chance to talk about this as their communicators went off.
"What is it, Zultro?" Travis asked.
"Rangers, we have a situation. Valerie appears to have disappeared." Zultro said.
"Disappeared?!" David said as he didn't like the sound of that at all.
"This can't be good." Robby said.
"We better check out the last place she was seen." Abby said.
"We're on our way." Travis said as the six of them moved out of the Youth Center. All of them stepped outside, but Scarlie was above them and they didn't even notice her.
"Time to take a little trip, rangers." Scarlie said as she used her magic on them and they all vanished and she went with them.
...
The Command Center
"Aye! No!" Gamma said.
"What now?" Zultro said.
"I lost the signal of the other rangers! They're all gone!" Gamma said.
"What?" Zultro said as he took a look himself and saw he was right. They were all gone and knew who was behind this. "What's Scarlie up to this time?" If Zultro can't find the rangers, he won't be able to help them, and no one will be able to protect Angel Grove...or the rest of the world.
...
The Rangers
The rangers were all transported to a mountain terrain. Once they were placed their, Scarlie cast a spell that placed a barrier around them and kept them from going anywhere.
"Where are we?" Sierra questioned. They heard Scarlie's laughter and turned around to see Scarlie with Vyla and Dragight there.
"Welcome, Power Rangers!" Scarlie said. "I hope you enjoyed the trip because none of you will be going anywhere ever again."
"What is this Scarlie?" Travis said as he touched the barrier, but he got shocked.
"You rangers aren't going anywhere." Scarlie said. "Don't bother using your morphers or teleporting out of here either. That barrier prevents you from doing so. You won't be able to call Zultro for help either. You're trapped here and there is no escape!"
"Your plan might actually work this time." Dragight said.
"Of course it will. With the rangers trapped, there isn't anyone who can stand in our way." Vyla said. This wasn't looking good at all. Sierra tried using her communicator, but nothing was happening.
"She's right. Our communicators are offline." Sierra said. "We can't contact Zultro or teleport out of here."
"You don't really think you can hold us here, Scarlie?" Travis said.
"You're evil will never win in the end." Abby said.
"I say it will and I watch what I say if I were you." Scarlie said. "You'll be joining the same fate as your precious green ranger soon enough."
"What have you done with my sister, you witch?!" David said as he demanded to know.
"Zabaro is taking care of her as we speak and you won't be able to help her." Scarlie said. "Once he's done with her, the rest of you will be next. No one is coming to help her and no one is coming to help you!" Scarlie laughed as she can finally see victory in her sight.
...
Valerie
Valerie was in real danger. They exploited her weak courage and have used it to their advantage. Now she can't morph or teleport out of there. She's completely at Zabaro's mercy.
"Nowhere to run, Valerie." Zabaro said.
"I'm...I'm not afraid of you, Zabaro." Valerie said as she was trying her best to act brave.
"Of course you are. Who are you trying to fool?" Zabaro taunted. "Your friends aren't going to be able to rescue you. Your big brother won't be able to come and help you. I hold your morpher and that means you can't morph. Face it, without your brother or the ability to morph, you're just like a scared little lamb." Valerie tried to stay tough, but Zabaro was hitting all the right buttons.
"No. It's not true." Valerie said.
"Why lie to yourself?" Zabaro said and went on the attack. He tried swinging his sword at her, but Valerie moved out of the way. Zabaro did kick her and knocked her back. "You're finished!" He fired energy blasts from his sword, but Valerie dived into the grass to hide. "You can't hide forever! The end of the Power Rangers is here!" The rangers can't call Zultro for help and Valerie is completely alone. Is this really where it ends for them?
