-POV Salem Galdra-

"Tock. You've returned. Where is Tyrian?" I asked. Tock sighed.

"Tyrian antagonised Donny so I'm making him hoof it from the edge of the Grimmlands." Tock said. I scowled.

"Your resurrection is shoddy and more importantly that body is weak. We need Kiran O' Donnell to fix it. Fortunately our little spy on the inside is working hard to make sure that happens. I am quite surprised they were willing to help us." I said. A Seer Grimm approached my seat.

My Lady. Sir Hazel wishes to speak with you. It whispered into my mind. Let him speak.

"I am unable to locate the new Silver Eyes as of yet. Have Tyrian and Tock returned from their mission?" Hazel said.

"They have." I said. Tock cleared her throat.

"Ma'am if I may. Donny said to send Hazel next time you wanted to contact him. He also wants an object each of the Maidens held close to them. He didn't say why." Tock said. I raised an eyebrow. Hazel did tell me Kiran was respectful towards him but cautious to Tyrian and obviously outright hostile to Cinder and her recruits. Perhaps because they were the weakest? Or to get in Ozpin's good graces? Either way despite how I dislike risk he will most certainly be worthwhile. Especially if he is beginning to master sympathetic magic.

"Hazel. The Silver Eyes can wait. Ozpin won't train them for a while. Return to the Fountain. Afterwards find Mr. O' Donnell and make sure he understands I won't take no for an answer." I said. Hazel nodded before the feed cut out. I turned to Tock.

"Tock. Return to resting. I don't want you killing yourself from overusing that pile of sludge he called a body." I said. Tock nodded and left. The Brother of Chaos. He crawled out of a pool and broke into my castle all to shoddily reanimate Tock. I am slightly glad I didn't ask him to reanimate my husband. The pieces are in place. Checkmate is mine Ozpin.

Line Break

-POV Kiran O' Donnell-

"So let me get this straight. You want me to help you grave rob Summer Rose, the woman I saw as a sister, so you can revive her. But most importantly you want me to believe that's even possible?" Qrow said. I sighed. He was sitting on a bar stool as Alister and I served drinks to the patrons. A light song from the eighties played above. Enough to overshadow peoples conversation but not enough to disturb the old timey atmosphere.

"Yes. To all. Or were you so drunk you forgot I specialize in Death and Earth? Come on. All I need is directions to where she's buried. Promise nothing will happen." I said. Qrow sighed.

"Hey Kiran? Girl is asking for you. Should I tell Neo or will you?" Alister said. I sighed before winking at Qrow.

"Yes Alister I got it. To both. Watch Qrow make sure he doesn't try to sneak off without paying his tab." I said. Alister turned around to see an empty bar seat where Qrow was moments before.

"This is coming out of my paycheck." Alister said. I barely suppressed a chuckle as I walked over to the other end of the bar. A girl sat there with dark brown hair and sunglasses. She wore a long cocoa-colored shirt with an upturned layered frill collar with a black single strapped waist cincher. She had on black leather trousers with golden lining around the pocket and ribbons attached to the back of a golden zipper seam around her knees. She was that chick who fought Emerald and Mercury right? I can't remember her name.

"Look miss I just wanna talk to Kiran O' Donnell." She said. What was her name?

"That would be me. Can I help you?" I asked. She did a once over.

"Kiran O' Donnell does not have hair down to his ass." She said. I rolled my eyes and moved up my glove to pull a rag out of my inventory to polish a glass.

"I do not have time for this. Who are you and what do you want?" I said. She sighed.

"I was looking for Donny because a friend told me he knew where I could contact Roman Torchwick." She said.

"What does a Senior of Beacon Academy, one of the most prestigious boarding colleges need to contact a Gang leader for? And for that matter why not just go to Junior instead of me?" I asked.

"That's none of your business." She said.

"I'm gonna need a name to give Roman. And a reason why you want to talk to him." I said. She sighed.

"Coco Adel. I'm in deep with a couple of loan sharks and he could get me enough cash to pay them back." Coco said.

"Sorry but Roman's not looking for new hires. I am though so how about this. I need a few extra hands. Not all of the jobs are above the board and I won't bail you out. It pays well though and I could get the debt dropped entirely." I said. Coco sighed.

"Fine. Suppose I do believe that you are Donny. What do you want me to do first?" She asked. Unfortunately before I could answer her the door burst into a shower of splinters as a Beowolf burst through it. A hail of gunfire from the hunters quickly put it down. A teenager ran in behind it.

"A giant explosion tore open the center of the Founder's Plaza! A huge hole opened up that the Grimm are swarming out of!" He said. Coco grabbed her minigun purse thing and walked out into the street releasing a hail of gunfire into the crowds of Grimm.

Event: Defending Vale

Objective: Help drive off the Grimm

Bonus Objective: Kill the Megoliath

Bonus Objective: Defeat over 50 Grimm of each type.

"Alister! Stay here. Defend anyone who comes in here." I said. Alister nodded, unfolding her svardstav and lighting it up with electric dust. Pulling out my scroll I looked through my contacts sending a quick text to Winter.

Kiran: Explosion at Founders Plaza. Grimm swarm. Send nearby troops

Running outside I pulled out my guns. I need swift speed in the executions. Not power. Fire a bullet through a few Grimm I quickly advanced down the street picking off stronger Grimm and thinning out the bigger hordes of Grimm. A lot of the people nearby had shotguns or pistols or rifles to defend themselves, leaving me with a much easier time picking off Alphas and Ursas that could injure or kill the makeshift militia. I didn't expect this level of coordination or defense from the people of Vale. Surprisingly I barely got even a hint of Battle Mania. Likely because all of the fights were over in seconds or I didn't stick around for it to end.

"Hey! You're that scout from the police station right?" Ruby said. She had her scythe unfurled and had just finished cutting through a small pack of beowolves.

"Yeah. Are you here by yourself?" I said. She shook her head.

"Nope. I'm here with my dad, my sister, and my uncle. My dad said to go find him." Ruby said.

"I saw him earlier before we knew about the infestation. He's probably headed for the Plaza like I am to contain the most Grimm." I said. Ruby nodded. She took off down a side street, likely to talk to the other, as I went down the main road. Shooting a few of the bigger Grimm I noted a lack of flying Grimm. Makes sense. Since all of the Grimm are getting in through the hole in the Plaza flying Grimm have to go over the heavily defended walls or through Beacon Academy. Even though we don't have as many people running damage control it's still a much smaller invasion than what happened in cannon. Finally reaching the plaza it was a clusterfuck of gunfire weapons and Grimm. Mostly Grimm pieces. Turns out their insides are completely hollow or just a bunch of muck.

Kicking away an arm of some unfortunate Beowolf I charged into the fray hitting them point blank it the head and just getting lost in it. Jumping down into the hole only a few Hunters had the balls or were suicidal enough to fight down here. Grinning maniacally I let out a harsh laugh as I ripped through the Grimm with my guns and Kaleidoscope. The strands of webbing tore through their bodies like a hot knife through butter.

"Behind you!" Qrow shouted. Turning I barely managed to block a Megoliath's charge. Grinning, I shot it twice in the center of its head. The shots ricocheted off hitting a King Taiju and a very large creep as I activated all of my boosts before holstering my guns and blinking forward, pulling the sword out of my inventory as I hit the center of its head again, this time with gravity, the blade and my four legs bashing it in almost the exact same place. This time small hairline fractures appeared with it slamming me to the side with one of its tusks. Pushing myself out of the hole I had made in the wall I let loose a maniacal laugh and spread my arms and limbs wide as I blinked above it and slammed the Blade down into its forehead making it let loose an ear piercing shriek as its faceplate shattered and my blade tore through its face like a hot knife through butter. Laughing maniacally I rushed into the Grimm behind it tearing through them as my laughter echoed through the walls of the cavern.

Pulling a large dust crystal from my inventory I coated my blade with fire before slamming it down and sending a wave of fire through the Grimm killing several. That was expensive in both the fact that it was a level 8 Dust crystal and took 2,000 Aura to make but it was oh so worth it. I can't wait to see how much EXP, Stats, and HP I'll get. Tearing through the Grimm the bigger and older ones started retreating with the majority of the younger ones following them. I took a few deep breaths to calm down before putting my Blade back in my inventory. I walked over to the hole using my Kaleidoscope to make a sort of rope ladder.

"You know kid you're pretty scary when you start fighting." One of the Hunters said. I shrugged.

"Also makes me go overboard and use too much dust and ammo." I said.

"What was that teleportation move you did kid?" He said.

"My Semblance is Runes. Draw a teleportation rune on a rock throw it, teleport, grab rock, repeat. Same with the storage thing." I said. He nodded. Pulling myself out of the hole the other Hunters followed suit moments later with one of them just jumping out of the hole. Pressing my hand to the ground I filled in the hole with the rubble and fixed the fountain using an earth manipulation rune I stitched into the palm of my glove. Useful in a pinch and decreases MP uses by a massive 68.75%. 50% from hades then a x 1.25 from rune expert then x 1.1 from core. That's a massive amount. A pop up made me both very happy and indescribably angry.

Five million Lien… But no EXP… I can't decide if I should shout in joy or scream in rage. I settled for stretching as that was a pretty good fight. Even if I'm barely winded.

"I see now how you were able to take out that Grimm horde a month or so back." Qrow said as he panted. I laughed.

"Yeah something like that. Or maybe you just can't keep up because your organs are failing." I said. Qrow groaned as Taiyang jogged over to us.

"Hey. You're the scout for Beacon?" Taiyang said.

"When did you start working for Ozzy?" Qrow said.

"Sort of. More so I knew Roman so when Ozzy told me some kid had beat him or atleast made him run I asked to see the recording and talk to them. I take it, your Ruby's dad?" I said. Taiyang nodded.

"Me, Taiyang, Raven, and Summer were all on a team back when we were in Beacon. Unfortunately." Qrow said. I laughed.

"Oof. My condolences for ever having known Raven." I said. Qrow laughed as Taiyang sighed.

"Oh no it gets worse. He has her daughter." Qrow said. I glanced over at Ruby and Yang before looking back at Qrow.

"If we didn't just capture her like two weeks ago I would have thought that Raven dyed her hair blonde and pretended to be a teenager." I said. Qrow laughed as Taiyang sighed again.

"You are never allowed to meet Yang." Taiyang said, pointing at me. I laughed before my scroll went off in my pocket.

Ice Ice Baby: What. What happened?

FN Spiderman: Slight Grimm invasion in Vale. Don't worry. We took care of it rather quickly.

Ice Ice Baby: I was flying Weiss to Vale and only just now set down in Beacon so I didn't see your text. Apologize.

FN Spiderman: np. Why are you flying Weiss here exactly?

Ice Ice Baby: Ozpin wants to interview her before school starts.

FN Spiderman: Now we don't have time to unpack all of that but let's go with the most likely. He's going to try and recruit your younger sister. Tell him I said hi and fuck you

Ice Ice Baby: Weiss is asking me why I'm smiling at my scroll. Text you later.

Sighing I scrolled through my texts to the group chat

Magic Man Magic Hands: Headcount say Aye

I Can't Smoke Correctly: Aye

Sweet Tooth: Aye

Flowergirl: Aye

Magic Man Magic Hands: I left flower at the bar where are the rest of you?

Sweet Tooth: Founders Plaza disguised

I Can't Smoke Correctly: Juniors. Was defending the patrons

Magic Man Magic Hands: Cool. Before I forget a girl is looking for you Roman. She's in deep with a few loan sharks and needs an out. Can you reject her and send her back to me?

I Can't Smoke Correctly: Yes but why didn't she go to Junior? I'm at Juniors right now anyways.

Magic Man Magic Hands: I don't know either

Sweet Tooth: She the girl with a minigun walking over to you?

A tap on my shoulder brought my attention to Coco. Even in her heels she was still a good nine or so inches shorter than me. I didn't realize it until I swiveled my head and looked directly over hers.

"Down here." She said. Looking down at her she had a scowl on her face and her handbag was decidedly not a minigun so I would say I'm rather safe.

"I thought I wasn't Donny?" I said. Coco glared at me before huffing.

"Alright fine. Your Donny. Where can I find Roman?" Coco said.

"Juniors. Here's a tip. He's wearing a bowler hat and has red hair. And if some says they're Roman they either are or you are about to witness a murder." I said. Coco rolled her eyes.

"Whatever." Coco said, before turning and leaving. I grinned before looking back at my scroll. A fun thing that the games does is install a little app in any device you buy where you can check your stats or improve so you don't look like your fucking insane every time you go to boost your dump stat.

That is a lot of money. And a lot of stat points. And a lot of Bonus Points. I need Luck more than anything else since I have such a massive Aura. It would take almost nine minutes to regenerate it fully. Which doesn't sound like a lot but this game is faster than brawl. I do not have nine minutes to spare. That sucks that I didn't get any closer to Tier 2 though.

AN: Yup inspiration is finally back. Tell me how I did. Fight scenes are hard so please tell me how I can improve. I noticed he was running low on cash and I wanted a reason for Salem to hate Arthur (Who gave the command to launch the train prematurely) so that's why the initial invasion happened a lot earlier than in cannon. I fully intend on killing Arthur if anyone is wondering. He's not crazy he's not as smart as he likes to think he is he's really not that interesting of a character and he has that smug I am better than you grin when he's not that much better than anyone. Next chapter I reintroduce a few characters including Hazel. Reviews are welcomed and see you soon!
