A/N: Thank you all for your kind reviews! Really glad and flattered to know that you enjoy reading! Thank you Inkdagger for the suggestion to include other characters~ Starting with Kakashi! Wanted to write this during Kakashi's birthday week but real life was tough… hurhurs. But here it is! (:

After losing so much so early in his life, Kakashi is now blessed with a big family and more children than he could handle.

Kaka-ji

The lady at the grocery store would always tell Kakashi how it's a pity he never married, never started a family. "Your children would have been brilliant like you, Rokudaime."

"Maa, I have children, more than I can babysit all at once." Kakashi always replied with a chuckle as he grabbed his groceries for the weekend.

Yes, despite staying single, Kakashi has a big family, thanks to his three little imps, as well as his brilliant kouhai turned trusty ANBU right hand man. It's almost as if they all worried that he'll be lonely, they drop by his office or his place every two days, taking turns, which means he always has guests every other day.

On top of that, ever since the kids are all toilet trained, at least once a month, he gets his dose of babysitting with at least five children staying over in his tiny apartment on Friday nights. Sometimes they even stay over the weekend and reluctantly part with him on Sunday afternoon.

Tomorrow is one such day. All six Uchiha children are going to stay over at Kaka-ji's for the weekend, at the request of Satoshi, who missed Pakkun and wanted to go on a forest trail with Kakashi as well. This did not sit well with a certain blonde loudmouth offspring of the next Hokage, who barged into Kakashi's office just this afternoon.

"Kakashi Occhan! This is so so so unfair! How come you didn't invite Hima and I to stay over too?" Boruto whined, slamming Kakashi's door open a little too loudly that Tonton jumped a little.

Absentmindedly patting Tonton, Kakashi replied nonchalantly, "I don't have space for all eight of you. The twins and Iro-chan are coming this time too."

"Can't we camp out like we did in August? Then we'll have space for all of us!" Boruto bargained.

"Maa, it's autumn now and colder, Hima-chan, Saku-kun and Iro-chan wouldn't be able to handle the cold when night falls." Kakashi said as-a-matter-of-factly. Seeing the huge pout of unhappiness, he offered, "Why don't you and Hima-chan come over next weekend?"

Boruto's face lit up at the suggestion but he tried to play it cool and suppressed the smile creeping up his cheeks "Hn, I'll hold you to it, you better keep your word! See you Kakashi Occhan!" before he bolted out of Kakashi's office.

Times like this makes Kakashi feel a little warm on the inside. It feels funny that these children all want a piece of him.

After sorting out his grocery and cleaning the house, Kakashi laid on his bed, spacing out at the ceiling. His thoughts flowed to the many fond memories of the children.

He remembered being there to calm Naruto's nerves when Boruto, the first of the lot, was born. He even encouraged the usually noisy boy to enter the delivery suite with Hinata to provide support. Boruto was loud, from the moment he was born. He remembered chuckling and thinking to himself how Boruto has traces of Hinata's features, but definitely takes after Naruto in his volume. He remembered telling Minato-sensei and Kushina-nee a few days later at their graves that they are now grandparents.

He remembered the surprise when Sakura and Sasuke visited his office the day after coming home to Konoha. Naruto's jaw literally dropped when he saw the two-month-old Sarada-chan. He remembered how adorable Sarada-chan was, big, round and bright midnight eyes looking around. He remembered thinking to himself how she has Sakura's features, but in Sasuke's colour palette. He remembered how tiny and soft she was, how she settled in quietly in his embrace, and how her tiny fingers wrapped around his index finger as she smiled a tiny smile at him. He remembered feeling really calmed by her strong, gentle vibe. Kakashi loves them all equally, but somehow, Sarada has a special place in his heart. Perhaps because she is the living representation of the connection between Sakura and Sasuke, which Kakashi witnessed from the start of Team 7.

He remembered the day Itachi almost tore the Hokage tower's window to report to Kakashi he has to leave urgently. Turns out it was because Izumi fainted at home due to chakra disruption. Apparently the twins' are naturally endowed with strong chakra elements, which sort of clashed with each other and Izumi's chakra. Thankfully Sakura was back in Konoha, and Tsunade-sama had returned upon hearing about Sarada-chan. They managed to help stabilize Izumi's condition. Kakashi took it upon himself to lighten Itachi's duty, which earned him Itachi and Izumi's gratitude, but also Shisui's constant nagging and Sasuke's death stare when workload for these two became a little taxing during peak season. All that suffering was worth it though, since Kakashi got frequent visits from the twins, who are both very generous with hugs and kisses for their Kaka-ji. Whenever Ikuha-kun and Itoha-chan visit, Kakashi is always reduced to a doting uncle who is unable to finish his work.

Itachi started this visiting habit that Team 7 also adopted, which got Shizune setting up allocated "baby visiting" slots to make sure Kakashi finishes his work within working hours.

Sarada-chan was the one to share the news to Kakashi about Satoshi-kun during one of their regular visits. She ran to Kakashi's seat and settled herself onto his lap before excitedly announcing that she'll become Sara-nee. Kakashi made it a point to wait outside the delivery suite with the Uchiha family, Naruto, Ino and Sai when Sakura went into labour. Worrying that the kids may be too rowdy for Sakura, Hinata offered to stay home with Boruto while Temari and Shikamaru helped with Inojin. He remembered feeling really touched when Sakura and Sasuke told him Satoshi's name and the meaning behind. He felt really honored to be included in their second-born's name along with the rest of team 7, which made Ino protest jokingly. Even though Sasuke, in all his Sasuke-ness, stated that Sakura was the one who wanted to include Kakashi and he hopes his son wouldn't become a pervert like Kakashi. Sakura though, saw through her husband and teased him, causing him to turn red as a tomato.

Then came his little sunshine, Hima-chan. She looks so much like Hinata, but with the perfect mix of Naruto and Hinata's personality. Sometimes it feels like she brings the sunshine wherever she went. She loves to gift flowers that she picked to Kakashi whenever she visits his office. In fact, there's a little vase in his office just so that she could place the flower she got him. She is also a curious little girl, who loves to ask Kakashi many questions. The most common topic she asks about is how was her Papa when he was younger, and Kakashi would recount the many missions and experience he had with team 7. Her favourite was the mission they had with neko-baa. She'd always asks if Kakashi could share that again to her.

Last but not least, the sunrise and sunset combo of Saku-kun and Iro-chan. It was a crazy day, in fact Kakashi never imagined a crazier day. Whenever Kakashi saw Sakuto, he would always tease Sasuke just for the fun of it.

"We live to see the day we get a pink-haired Uchiha eh, Sasuke." Kakashi said as he gently shook his legs to simulate a horse-ride for the toddler in his embrace. Sakuto gurgled cheerily at the motion.

"It's Fuchsia, Kaka-ji" Sarada would correct him, at which Sasuke will smirk, seemingly proud of his girl.

"Hug, Kaka, Hug." Satoshi-kun would then distract him, asking for a hug, before Kakashi could tease Sasuke further.

If Hima-chan was Kakashi's little sunshine, then Iro-chan is his little moon. Kakashi feels like Iroha is the best balance of Itachi and Izumi. She has Izumi's calm vibes, yet he sometimes feel like he is looking at a toddler version of the Uchiha genius. Iroha always feels like a warm, soothing breeze to Kakashi. She'd wordlessly show her care, like how she'll always pat the dirt away from his clothes, or quietly wipe the sweat from his forehead, then smile and say, "all clean, Kaka-ji."

He wasn't sure when he fell asleep, but when he woke up in the morning, he felt extra motivated to power through his work today, so that the Uchiha kids could come over at around late afternoon. He was already looking forward to cooking dinner with them. Though, he could already picture Pakkun complaining-while actually enjoying the attention-that the younger ones are rough and Satoshi's hugs are too tight. What Pakkun doesn't know is that it'll be 2 consecutive weekends of hugs and kisses, since Boruto and Hima-chan are due to come over next weekend.

Kakashi is single, but he is a contented Kaka-ji with many children, all of them presents from his favourite students and favourite Uchiha couple.

Though, he might have to be prepared to receive more nagging from Shisui, who claims that Kakashi wants to steal the "favourite Ji-chan" title from him.

Hope it was okay!

Please let me know what you think! (:
