In Mr. Albert's classroom, the light is dimmed, as a TV sits at the front of the class, as it shows a news reporter at the archaeology dig site outside the city.
"It would seem Amy Flynn, the head of this dig site, had made a new discovery that she would like to share today," the reporter says, as he walks backward through the site.
Jackie leans over to Lance and whispers, "So how about hanging out after school? Maybe at the mall?"
"Sure thing, it's a date," Lance whispers.
Jackie smiles, as she leans back in her chair.
Amy Flynn is on the TV, "Something like this had never been found before. It appeared to be made of some unusual metal, and while carbon dating will confirm its actual age, how deep it was found and the amount of dirt seems to hint that it was as old, if not more so, then any other fossils we have found here."
Amy turns to an assistant, who hands something to her, before she turns back and holds it up to the camera, revealing it to be a gold Dino Totem, with some dirt on it.
The unmorphed Rangers each straighten up, as they look at each other and back at the TV.
"A Dino Totem…" Kent whispers.
"The Sixth Knight"
In the Round Base, the unmorphed Rangers enter to find Mr. Dragdan is flipping through the pages of a book.
"Mr. Dragdan," Mackey starts.
"I saw the report," Mr. Dragdan interrupts.
"You did?" Jackie asks.
"Yeah," Mr. Dragdan looks up from the book. "Don't tell Ms. Gema"
Buffy and Jackie share a small smile.
"I knew it," Mr. Dragdan says, after turning another page.
"Knew what?" Henry asks.
"That Dino Totem Amy Flynn found, it's in my family records, and it not just any Dino Totem," Mr. Dragdan starts. "It's a Ranger Dino Totem, meaning it can empower a new Dino Knight Ranger."
"A new Ranger?" Kent repeats.
"Yeah," Mr. Dragdan says, before he goes over to the table with the books, picking up a small box and turns back to them. "I know Amy Flynn, and I'm pretty sure if the Power Rangers explain the importance of the Dino Totem, she will give it to them."
"You can count on us, Mr. Dragdan," Kent says.
"I know I can, and here," Mr. Dragdan hands the box to Mackey. "This is a Morpher for the Dino Totem, just in case."
Mackey nods his head.
"Let's go, then," Kent says, before he leads his friends out.
The unmorphed Rangers are hurrying out of the school, as Brittney is walking by and approaches them, before noticing her sister.
"Hey, Buffy," Brittney says, as Buffy stops and turns to her. "I'm going to the Aquarium for my school report on marine life, want to come?"
"I would love to, Brittney," Buffy starts, as she backs up slowly. "But I need to help the others with something… involving the Dinosaur Club."
Buffy spins around and runs after her friends.
"Oh, okay…" Brittney says.
In the Darkness Caverns, Forte and Wizar are watching a large floating image, showing Amy Flynn holding up the Dino Totem.
"Well, isn't that unexpected," Wizar says.
"Another Dino Totem…" Forte adds.
"This time, nothing will get in my way."
Wizar and Forte turn to see Menasaur entering the Darkness Caverns, "This Dino Totem will be mine."
The unmorphed Rangers are walking through a forest, toward the digsite.
Jackie has her smartphone out, as she texts to Lance: "Something came up. Rain check?"
After Jackie presses send, Kent walks over to her and clears his throat, "Hum, so... Jackie, how thing's going with… Lance?"
"It's going fine," Jackie starts. "Actually, I was thinking about inviting him to join the Dinosaur Club."
Mackey looks over his shoulder, "Jackie, the Dinosaur Club is for the Rangers, it's too risky to allow an outsider to join."
"Well, if the Dino Totem can empower a new Ranger, then I think Lance would be the perfect choice," Jackie starts. "He's smart, kind, quick. A good candidate to be a Dino Knight Ranger." She looks at her friend. "Don't you agree, Kent?"
"The thing is… I'm not too sure…" Kent says, looking away.
"You don't think so?" Jackie asks, surprised.
"We better put the subject on moot," Henry says, as he turns to face his friends, and points to behind himself. "We've arrived at the digsite."
"So we better get dressed," Buffy says.
"Right," Kent nods his head. "It's Morphin' Time!"
They hold up their Dino Totems, flip them to Knight Mode, and insert them into their Knight Morphers.
"Ankylo Totem!"
They flip their Morphers' visors, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Kent morphs to Red Knight Ranger, Jackie morphs to Pink Knight Ranger, Mackey morphs to Blue Knight Ranger, Buffy morphs to Green Knight Ranger, and Henry morphs to Black Knight Ranger.
"Let's go," Red Knight Ranger says, as his friends nod their heads.
The Knight Rangers start to rush ahead, as Pink Knight Ranger looks to the side, before running after her friends.
The Knight Rangers walk through the digsite, with people turning away from their work to watch them, before Amy Flynn turns around and sees them approaching her.
"The Power Rangers?" Amy reacts with surprise.
"Ms. Flynn, we're sorry for bothering you," Red Knight Ranger starts. "But that object you found."
Amy turns to see the Dino Totem lying on a blank blanket on a collapsible table.
"It's a Ranger relic that could prove helpful against the Negadons," Blue Knight Ranger tells her.
"And I'm sorry, but we need it," Pink Knight Ranger adds.
Amy slowly picks up the Dino Totem, "This could be a major find for my career… but I understand." She turns toward the Rangers. "Here."
Amy starts to hold out the Dino Totem toward Red Knight Ranger, when small explosions go off next to the group, when they turn to look they see a group of Knightrons with Stonedar, a large rock-like monster, with grass covered legs, discs on each arms that resembles volcanos, and a mountain range-like back.
"Sorry to disappoint all of you, but we are taking the Dino Totem," Stonedar starts. "Ah, who am I kidding, I'm not sorry to disappoint any of you."
Brittney walks through the Aquarium passing by tanks full of different fishes, holding a notepad and pencil, with a backpack over one shoulder, before noticing a guy further down the hall with a hand on one of the tanks.
Brittney approaches the guy, "Excuse me, I don't think you're allowed to touch the tanks."
"Oh, right, sorry," the guy glances at her and lowers his hand, before facing the tank.
"Are you new, I don't think I've seen you around here," Brittney says.
"Hum, yes, I just moved here recently," the guy looks back to her, before starting to walk away.
"I thought so, I'm very good with faces," Brittney says, before she turns to his direction. "Are you here to do a school report too?"
He turns back to her, "No, I…"
"What is it?" Brittney asks.
"It might sound kinda odd to you, but I like coming here because it reminds me of my old home."
"Oh, nothing odd about that," Brittney responds. "It's very understandable to be homesick."
"Homesick, right…"
"Almost forgot, my name is Brittney Clarke."
He looks up, "Oh, I'm Arno… Lake."
"Well, Arno Lake, since you come here often, mind giving me a tour?" Brittney asks.
Arno shrugs his shoulders, "Sure."
Arno turns around and starts leading Brittney down the hall, with Brittney unaware of them passing a framed picture of a lake.
At the digsite, the archeologists are running away, as the Knight Rangers are fighting with the Knightrons.
Red Knight Ranger holds up his Dino Blade to block a Knightron's spear, pushes it off, spins around and trips a second Knightron, before, as he gets up, backhand strikes the first Knightron, flipping it onto its back.
Green Knight Ranger flips over a large hole, as a pursuing Knightron ends up sliding and falling into the hole. She blocks a second Knightron's spear with her Dino Blade, spinkicks it and knocks the Knightron into the hole.
Blue Knight Ranger back flips over a Knightron's spear strike, deflects another Knightron's spear with his Dino Blade, strikes down a third Knightron, spinkicks the first, and then strikes down the second Knightron in midspin.
Black Knight Ranger blocks one Knightron's spear with his Dino Blade and catches another Knightron's spear, with them pushing him back. He then uses his Dino Blade to push off the first Knightron, kicks the second Knightron's side, pulls on its spear to send it flying and then strikes down the first Knightron.
Pink Knight Ranger sidekicks a Knightron, strikes down another with her Dino Blade and then roundhouse kicks a third Knightron. Suddenly, Stonedar grabs her hand holding the Dino Totem.
"Hey, hands off," Pink Knight Ranger says, as she struggles to pull her hand free from Stonedar's grip.
"I'm not leaving without that Dino Totem," Stonedar tells her.
Pink Knight Ranger sees the large hole behind Stonedar, before she stabs her Dino Blade into the ground and grabs the grasp hands with her other hand, "Wrong, you're just leaving."
Pink Knight Ranger drops herself down and trips Stonedar, sending him falling backward into the hole, forcing him to let go of her. Pink Knight Ranger flips back onto her feet and spins, as her friends regroup around her.
"All the archeologists got away," Black Knight Ranger says.
"Then it's our turn," Red Knight Ranger says, before he looks ahead. "Dino Force Cycles, energized!"
The five Knight Rangers flip through the air, before they start riding away on their Dino Force Cycles, as Stonedar starts to pull himself out of the hole.
In a construction site, the five unmorphed Rangers are looking around.
"Okay, it doesn't look like anyone managed to follow us," Henry says.
"At least, we have some breather room now," Mackey says.
A small beep is heard, before Jackie holds up her smartphone and sees the message from Lance: "When you want to hang out? I'm free whenever."
"So, what are we gonna do with the Dino Totem?" Brittney asks.
"I still think Lance would make a good choice to join us," Jackie looks away from her phone.
"Perhaps this is something we should discuss with Mr Dragdan first?" Mackey suggests.
"Agreed," Kent says.
In the Round Base, Mr. Dragdan is holding up his walkie-talkie, "I have to agree, Lance would make for a great Power Ranger. But in the end, he would be your teammate and you know how well you would operate as a team better than anyone. So the final choice is your guys."
"Okay, thanks, Mr. Dragdan," Kent says, before lowering his Knight Morpher and looking to his friends.
"So, what does everyone think?" Jackie asks.
"We could use some help," Buffy says.
"And Lance seems like a standout type of guy," Henry adds.
"...Make that three for," Mackey says.
"Four," Jackie smiles, before looking to Kent, who is looking to the side, like he's lost in thought. "Kent… are you hesitating because you still think Lance's better than you and you're jealous."
"No, I, I'm over that, and…" Kent starts, before he sighs. "And you're right, Lance, would be a good Ranger. Call him."
Jackie smiles, then presses her phone's screen and holds it up to her ear, "Hey, Lance, I'm here with Kent and the others. And we need you to meet us here, at the construction site on the corner of 2nd Street."
"Okay, I'm nearby actually, so I'll be there soon," Lance responds over the phone.
"Great, see you here," Jackie says.
Back at the Aquarium, Arno and Brittney are outside, walking down a flight of stairs toward the large pool.
"This place is so amazing, I can see why you like to come here," Brittney says.
"Yeah, it's so peaceful and clean…" Arno says, stopping as he oversees the pool, with the sight of dolphins near the surface.
Brittney looks over to him, smiling.
The unmorphed Rangers continue to wait, as Jackie walks over to Kent, who is up against a wall.
"Kent, are you okay?" Jackie asks. "You keep on seeming like you're deep in thought."
Kent looks down for a moment, before back at his friend, "Jackie, there's something I need to tell you…"
"What is this?" Stonedar comes over, as the unmorphed Rangers go into defensive positions. "A private party, or can any monster crash it?"
"Jackie go and find Lance, we'll handle this," Kent tells her, as he places a Dino Totem into his Morpher.
After a flash of light, Red, Blue, Green, and Black Knight Rangers charge at Stonedar. Red and Blue Knight Rangers grab Stonedar's arms and push him backward. Green Knight Ranger kicks and Black Knight Ranger punches Stonedar, but neither has any effects as they bounce off, before Stonedar pulls one arm, flipping Blue Knight Ranger. He then pulls his other arm free and then backhands Red Knight Ranger, knocking him back.
Jackie starts to back away, before a Knightron grabs an arm,
"Hey!"
Another Knightron grabs Jackie's other arm, as they hold her back, before a third Knightron grabs her right hand and tries to pry the Dino Totem from it.
"I said stop," Jackie kicks the third Knightron, forcing it off her, but is unable to pull her arms free.
Suddenly, Lance jumps forward and kicks one of the Knightron, forcing it off Jackie. Jackie then grabs the remaining Knightron with her free hand and flips it onto its back, freeing her.
"Jackie, what's going on?" Lance asks.
"I'll explain in a moment, but we need some breather room," Jackie says, before she grabs Lance's hand and pulls him around a corner.
Blue Knight Ranger is thrown backward, as his friends regroup around him.
"The Pink Ranger might get away, but the Dino Totem won't," Stonedar says.
"That enough," Red Knight Ranger holds up a Dino Totem, inserts it into his Dino Blade and closes the mouth.
"Dimetro Zord!"
He closes the mouth a couple times.
"Dimetro Blaze Armor, Armor Up!"
"You'll be nothing but pebbles," Red Knight Ranger says, before he charges ahead, as his Dino Blade becomes covered in flames and brings it down.
Stonedar brings up his left arm, blocking the Dino Blade as sparks go off, before a wave of energy is absorbed into his arm.
"What?!" Red Knight Ranger asks.
"I think you expect something like this," Stonedar says, as he shoves off the Dino Blade and holds up his right arm, sending a blast of energy from it, knocking Red Knight Ranger back.
Jackie and Lance turn another corner at the construction site, before stopping and starting to catch their breaths.
"Okay, I think that's far enough," Jackie says.
"Jackie, what's going on, where's the others, are they okay?" Lance asks.
Jackie smiles, "I can't be more confident then I am now, that I was right."
"What are you talking about? Right about what?" Lance asks.
"Perhaps it would be easier just to show you," Jackie says, before she takes a couple steps backward.
She holds up her Dino Totem, flips it to Knight Mode and inserts it into her Knight Morpher.
"Ankylo Totem!"
She flips her Morpher's visor, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Jackie becomes covered in pink light, as she morphs into Pink Knight Ranger.
Lance takes a couple steps back, "Jackie, y-you're a Power Ranger… Wait, Kent and the others, they're also…"
Pink Knight Ranger nods her head, "Yeah, we're the Dino Knight Rangers."
"This is a lot," Lance says.
"I'm sure it is," Pink Knight Ranger says, as the other Knight Rangers, without the Dimetro Blaze Armor, turn the corner and approach them.
"Stonedar is experiencing a growth spurt," Green Knight Ranger says. "So, what's going on here?"
Pink Knight Ranger looks at the Dino Totem in her hand, before she takes a step to her friend, "Lance, would you join us as the sixth Dino Knight Ranger? It won't be easy, and it will be dangerous. But you will have a chance to make the world a better place."
"I would be honored," Lance says.
Pink Knight Ranger hands Lance the Dino Totem.
Blue Knight Ranger walks up and opens the box, pulling out a Knight Morpher, "This Knight Morpher is used with a Dino Totem. Use it to morph."
"I understand," Lance says, as he takes the Morpher and puts it on his wrist.
"It's Morphin' Time," Pink Knight Ranger says.
Lance nods his head, then turns away and holds up the Dino Totem, flipping it to Knight Mode and inserts it into the Morpher.
"Mosa Totem!"
He flips the Morpher's visor, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Nothing happens, as the Knight Rangers look at each other.
Lance flips the Morpher's visor again, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Pink Knight Ranger tilts her head slightly.
Lance pulls the Dino Totem out of the Morpher, "Oh well, it was worth a try."
Suddenly the Knight Morpher is dropped to the floor and is smashed under Lance's foot.
"Lance, what are you doing?!" Pink Knight Ranger asks.
"Confused," Lance turns back to face them and backs up a couple steps. "Maybe this will clear matters up."
Lance holds out his arms, as armor flies onto his body, becoming Menasaur, "Well, figured it out yet?"
"What?" Red Knight Ranger says.
"No, it can't be…" Pink Knight Ranger says.
"You're Menasaur?!" Black Knight Ranger yells. "All this long?"
"Yeah, although it was quite hard to act all friendly," Menasaur starts. "And to be honest, I wasn't gonna reveal myself so soon, but when I see the opportunity to grab a Dino Totem, and one that can create a Ranger to boot, I couldn't miss the chance."
"You are not keeping that!" Red Knight Ranger calls out.
"Oh, but I am, besides it'll make for a good trophy," Menasaur says, before he holds up the Dino Totem, which glows before becoming encased in amber.
"You heard him, you not leaving with it," Green Knight Ranger says, as she, Red, Blue, and Black Knight Rangers hold up their Dino Blades.
"I am leaving, besides I'm pretty sure you have a city to protect," Menasaur says, before he starts to turn as a checker field appears and slides over him. "I win."
Menasaur and the checker field disappears.
Red Knight Ranger looks over to Pink Knight Ranger, as she looks down and whispers, "What have I done…?"
Red Knight Ranger starts to reach out to his friend.
"I hate to say it, but he's right, we still need to stop Stonedar," Black Knight Ranger says.
Red Knight Ranger looks over to him, "Right." He then turns back around, holds up his Knight Morpher and presses the button, "Summon Tyranno Zord!"
Tyranno Zord runs down the street, roaring.
Red Knight Ranger throws the Dino Totem.
"Begin transformation!"
Red Knight Ranger draws his Dino Blade, "Tyranno Zord Battle Mode, ready!"
Tyranno Zord approaches Stonedar and throws a punch, with Stonedar pushes it away, then tries an uppercut which has no effect on Stonedar. Tyranno Zord then tries another punch and a kick, still having no effects. Stonedar punches Tyranno Zord, forcing it back a couple times.
Red Knight Ranger holds back his Dino Blade, "Tyranno Battle Punch!"
Tyranno Zord holds up its right arm, which has the Tyranno Zord's head on it, with its comping before punches forward. Stonedar holds up its left arm, with energy from the attack absorbed into the arm, spreads across his body and to his right arm. Stonedar then holds his right arm, with an energy blast fires from it and at Tyranno Zord, sending it falling backward.
Pink Knight Ranger runs over and looks up, with the other three Knight Rangers looking over to her, "Kent…"
"Buffy, are you okay?" Green Knight Ranger asks.
"I-I honestly don't know, but right now," Pink Knight Ranger looks down, before looking back up. "I've already lost a Dino Totem, I'm not gonna lose a friend."
She holds up her Knight Morpher and presses the button, "Summon Ankylo Zord!" She then looks over to her friends. "Mackey?"
"Oh, right," Blue Knight Ranger looks up and presses the button on his Knight Morpher. "Summon Tricera Zord!"
Ankylo Zord and Tricera Zord run through the city, roaring.
Pink Knight Ranger places the bottom of her Dino Blade to her arm, "Zords combine!"
Pink and Blue Knight Rangers flip their Dino Totems to Knight Mode and throw them.
While a drill connected to Tyranno Zord's left shoulder and Tricera Zord's front half connected to its right shoulder, Tyranno Zord's tail connects to its right arm, Ankylo Zord's back half connects to left arm, and Ankylo Zord's front half connects to its chest.
The pink Dino Totem, animated, flies up, turns around and flies down, connecting to Tyranno Zord and forms its head.
The new formation stands with its left hand on its hip and it's right arm up, "Dino Knight Megazord Ankylo Armored, ready!"
Pink Knight Ranger draws her Dino Blade, "Let smash this rock garden, quickly."
Dino Knight Megazord spins around and strikes Stonedar with the Tyranno Zord tail. Stonedar then punches it.
Pink Knight Ranger's cockpit shakes.
"Jackie, are you sure you're okay?" Red Knight Ranger asks.
"Let's just end this," Pink Knight Ranger says.
Dino Knight Megazord brings back its hammer arm.
The three Knight Rangers bring down their Dino Blades, "Final Hammer Smash!"
"Look like I'm gonna be rock n' rolled!" Stonedar calls out.
Dino Knight Megazord's hammer arm is glowing, before the hammer grows to gigantic proportions, as it swings down its hammer arm, with the hammer crushing Stonedar, who is consumed in a large explosion.
Dino Knight Megazord turns around, with its hammer arm on its hip and its other arm raised up.
Pink Knight Ranger brings her hands together, "At least something goes well…"
Back at the Round Base, the unmorphed Rangers and Mr. Dragdan are standing around.
"One good thing is that the Dino Totem seems to be powerless even in Lance's hands," Mackey says.
"I don't think that is very comforting," Buffy says.
"What're we gonna do?" Henry asks.
"I don't know, although I hate the thought that a Dino Totem is in the Negadons' hands," Mr. Dragdan says.
"I'm sorry."
Kent looks over to see Jackie seated on the wall's table, looking down at the floor, "Jackie, it wasn't your fault."
"Yes it is," Jackie starts. "I trusted Lance, and it cost us a Dino Totem." She sighs. "I should've listened to you. You were right about not bringing in Lance…"
Kent looks down.
Inside the Darkness Caverns, Menasaur placed the amber encased Dino Totem in a small opening in the cave wall, "Just one of many."
Menasaur walks away, as a small roar is heard from the Dino Totem.
At the Aquarium, Arno looks over the large pool, with his eyes closed. A small roar is heard in the distance, before Arno's eyes open.
